AM • SHOWREEL TITLES - Blender add-on (Animation Made suite)
============================================================
(Version francaise plus bas)

An animated 3D title, letter by letter, in two clicks. For a showreel,
end credits or a demo reel intro. No internet connection, no AI:
everything runs locally inside Blender.

INSTALLATION (once)
-------------------
1. Open Blender (3.0 or newer).
2. Edit > Preferences > Add-ons.
3. Install the file am_showreel_titles.zip (do not unzip it):
   - Blender 4.2 and newer: arrow at the top right > Install from Disk...
   - Blender 3.x to 4.1: "Install..." button
4. Tick the box next to "AM • Showreel Titles".
5. In the 3D Viewport, press N and open the "Animation Made" tab.

HOW IT WORKS
------------
1. YOUR TITLE
Type your text. Two fields = two lines (leave the second one empty for
a single line). Each line is centered. Optional: pick a font file
(.ttf, .otf), empty = Blender's default font.
"Create title" builds ONE 3D letter per character, centered on the 3D
cursor, standing up to face the front view.
Each title gets ITS OWN collection under "AM • Showreel Titles", named
after its text: hide, move or delete it in one click in the Outliner.

2. THE CONTROLLER
Each title is held by a curve rectangle, like a rig controller. It
surrounds the letters, can be clicked and moved (G), and is NOT
rendered. All letters are parented to it.
It CARRIES the title's settings: click a controller and the panel
shows ITS values; change them and only that title moves. With nothing
selected, the panel shows the settings of the NEXT title and doesn't
   touch any existing one.
To edit several titles at once: select them, then Alt+drag a setting
   (the usual Blender shortcut).

3. SETTINGS (live)
Size, Depth (3D thickness), Bevel (rounded edges), Letter spacing,
Line spacing (with two lines). Color, Metallic and Roughness drive the
shared material AM_Showreel_Titles_Mat (Principled shader inputs, kept
under their Blender names so you find them in the Shader Editor).

4. PRESETS (THE ANIMATIONS)
11 styles, the letters arriving one after the other:
Pop letters scale up with a small bounce
Flip letters tip forward as they arrive
Drop letters fall from above and bounce
Spin letters spin in on themselves
Wave letters rise one by one, smoothly
Typewriter letters appear instantly, one by one
Scatter each letter flies in from its own direction, then
                  settles
Bouncy Pop letters arrive too big and shrink back to size
Bouncy Flip the flip overshoots, then settles back
Bouncy Spin the spin overshoots, then settles back
Bouncy Wave the rise overshoots, then settles back down

Start frame when the first letter arrives
Frames per letter how long a letter takes to settle
   Stagger frames between two letters
Damping how cushioned the landing is (Bezier curves).
0 = sharp and mechanical. Higher = fast start then
a long glide into place, more spring on Pop, a real
bounce on Drop, more overshoot on the Bouncy ones.
Squash & stretch the cartoon feel: the letter arrives stretched
tall, squashes as it lands, then settles. Works
with EVERY preset. Above 0.7 letters get wide
enough to touch: raise Letter spacing if needed.
Variation only shows once Scatter is applied. Change the
number to get other arrival directions.

These settings are not live: change them, then click the preset again.

GOOD TO KNOW
------------
- A new animation REPLACES the previous one (it doesn't stack).
- The animation lives on the letters' "delta" transforms, so it never
touches your layout: "Clear animation" leaves the title intact.
- The buttons work on the SELECTION, and each title keeps ITS own
settings. With nothing selected, only the LAST title created is used.
- The add-on only touches what it created: titles live in the
"AM • Showreel Titles" collection and are named AM_Showreel_Title_*.
- Titles made with the previous version ("AM • Title") are recognized
  automatically.
- Small spikes on some letters? A few fonts have very sharp corners
(like the "2" of some geometric fonts) that Blender's Bevel can't
round cleanly. Lower Bevel, or set it to 0 and keep only Depth.

==================================================
VERSION FRANCAISE
==================================================

   - Blender 3.x a 4.1 : bouton "Install..."
4. Cocher "AM • Showreel Titles".
5. Viewport 3D, touche N , onglet "Animation Made".

UTILISATION
1. "Your title" : ecris ton texte (Line 1, Line 2 optionnelle), choisis
une police si tu veux (Font), puis "Create title". Le titre se cree
sur le curseur 3D, dans sa propre collection.
3. Settings (reglages, en direct) : Size (taille), Depth (epaisseur),
Bevel (arrondi), Letter spacing (espacement), Line spacing
   (interligne), Color, Metallic, Roughness.
4. Presets (animations) : Pop, Flip (bascule), Drop (chute), Spin, Wave
Stagger (decalage), Damping (amorti), Squash & stretch, Variation

BON A SAVOIR
