was that I knew people who had gone through just DMU, the psychology programs, and the counseling programs, and I felt very strong that that they were teaching truth. 00:03:32.045 --> 00:03:43.490 You know, I grew up, kinda came of age in that post Vatican two era where some some things in the church were a little, foggy for for in many ways, and I wanted truth. 00:03:43.490 --> 00:03:45.990 I them for when they're working with different directees, including those that might have maybe a a background within their own trauma or mental health and how to speak to that with empathy and as as should say that it's a little bit humbling and humbling in a good way because it, you know, it's a lot of personal growth, a lot of self awareness, which is, you know, all growth is is painful, but you're in it, any sort of hiccups you're running into, whatever those might be, I always encourage the students that if, you know, if they're running into whatever curve balls life is throwing at them to reach out to us as, as their support, whether it's with the staff, with student success, with their faculty, their instructors, let us know what's going on. 00:08:09.935 --> 00:08:17.475 I found that for many of them, there could be maybe ways that in which we can help you in succeeding and thriving in the program. 00:08:18.575 --> 00:08:20.675 I'll even just use one quick example. 00:08:20.895 --> 00:08:30.440 I I I was working with a with an applicant back in, this past fall, and, she was ready to start. 00:08:30.440 --> 00:08:41.555 She really wanted to start for the fall, but she called me up and said, Greg, I think I need to defer because the week that I start class is also the week that I'm taking my daughter to college. 00:08:42.015 --> 00:08:48.115 And so it's going to be very difficult for me to handle that first week while also being present for my daughter. 00:08:48.655 --> 00:08:54.800 And so I asked her if she asked if she mentioned this to her happens, the the healing in people's lives that hasn't even been planned, personally, you really get to know these people and kinda get to know a little bit of their stories and, honestly, just the ministries that some of the courses are worth just taking just for the course, whether it's auditing a certain course on, SCC 200 is a lot about attachments, and we all are attached to things that
