You know, Easter, Christ triumph over death, his resurrection from the dead, I think it helped us in really two important ways.

First, it's a reminder that Good Friday is not the last word, that the difficulties of our lives, the crosses of our lives, even death itself, even our sin aren't the final word.

Christ overcomes that through his resurrection.

It's his victory is our victory, and we can share in that.

That God in his goodness and his mercy and his love opens a way for us to overcome those things that are most difficult for us, in life even up to death.

There are invisible realities that are out there.

So much of the modern world and modern, men and women, we always fall into thinking about the tangible as being like the end of existence.

We have to be, worried about our daily concerns and they're important.

There's an eternal reality that we're made for and that, our lord invites us to.

Christ's resurrection reminds us of it.

That the things of this world, the things that seem ordinary, in this ordinary natural world aren't the end of things.

That there is an invisible world and invisible reality there that leads us to God, that leads us to an eternal destiny, an eternal life of happiness and joy with him.

And so my prayer for you, your families, and your loved ones is that you experience in a deep way, the joy, the victory, the love of Christ that we celebrate here on Eastern.
