WEBVTT

00:00:32.980 --> 00:00:39.480
So good evening, everybody, and you're very welcome to Radio Maria to our Chatechesis program.

00:00:39.620 --> 00:00:48.695
And I have with me in today online, father Charles Sikorsky, the president of the Divine Mercy University in America.

00:00:49.075 --> 00:00:51.175
Father Charles, great to have you with us.

00:00:51.875 --> 00:00:52.835
Thank you, deacon Don.

00:00:52.835 --> 00:00:53.970
Great to be with you.

00:00:54.210 --> 00:00:54.450
Good.

00:00:54.450 --> 00:00:54.950
Good.

00:00:55.330 --> 00:01:05.110
And I have to confess, I'm involved in the Divine Mercy, postulate here in Ireland from the Divine Mercy Conference for the last, thirty three years.

00:01:05.410 --> 00:01:14.665
And I must say I was when Liz White told me that there was a Divine Mercy University, I was saying, how did I not know about this?

00:01:14.965 --> 00:01:17.785
So tell us a bit about the Divine Mercy University.

00:01:19.430 --> 00:01:24.470
So Divine Mercy University, we are a graduate university in United States.

00:01:24.470 --> 00:01:27.910
We're located in the Washington DC area.

00:01:27.910 --> 00:01:31.690
We're five minutes from Dulles International Airport.

00:01:32.845 --> 00:01:39.725
And our focus is bringing God's mercy and the wisdom of the church into the area of mental health.

00:01:39.725 --> 00:01:47.540
We form, Catholic, therapists, counselors, psychologists, spiritual directors.

00:01:48.880 --> 00:02:00.255
And we blend the best of science with the Catholic understanding of the human person, the Catholic understanding of life, this life and the afterlife, all blended together, into our programs.

00:02:00.255 --> 00:02:01.795
And that that that's our mission.

00:02:02.975 --> 00:02:07.375
And and we're, you know, really we've been blessed over the years to have many students.

00:02:07.375 --> 00:02:11.215
We've grown from about 50 students fifteen years ago.

00:02:11.215 --> 00:02:12.660
We're over 600 right now.

00:02:12.820 --> 00:02:13.140
Oh, my god.

00:02:13.140 --> 00:02:14.100
That's fantastic.

00:02:14.100 --> 00:02:43.085
And I love the idea of a holistic approach to, to spirituality of involving the whole person in the in the healing process because often as you know that we know from healing ministry here that when we go praying with people and we often find that the the root of whatever physical symptoms as Carl Jung used to say that, the what what goes on in the mind, the body takes on what goes on in the mind and psychosomatic.

00:02:43.970 --> 00:03:02.215
And that it's, we often find as as you well know that stuff like unforgiveness, things come up rejection, hurts, anger, and often come up as the roots of the to the physical pain that's presenting in the personal illness.

00:03:03.715 --> 00:03:04.355
Well, that's right.

00:03:04.355 --> 00:03:09.475
You know, and I I like to think of it as an incarnational way to approach this.

00:03:09.475 --> 00:03:13.110
In other words, Jesus was both human and divine.

00:03:13.250 --> 00:03:20.470
And there's a human part that's in in that that's important, but there's also the spiritual part, and they go they're blended together.

00:03:21.010 --> 00:03:29.865
And so when we form psychologists, well, they need to be aware of spirituality and the spiritual life and the fact that we have a spiritual soul.

00:03:30.485 --> 00:03:37.605
And when we're forming spiritual directors, it's, they also need to remember the part about, well, where we are incarnational beings.

00:03:37.605 --> 00:03:40.505
We have the human side that need, they need to work together.

00:03:41.880 --> 00:03:44.920
Oftentimes, you know, grace builds on nature.

00:03:44.920 --> 00:03:51.720
And so oftentimes you can have issues where people maybe we all kind of experience this when we go to confession.

00:03:51.720 --> 00:03:53.160
Seem like the same thing every time.

00:03:53.160 --> 00:04:05.325
And we have weaknesses on a human level, bad habits and so forth that, we need to fix first so that we're we're fixed as we go along so that God's grace can have its full impact.

00:04:06.040 --> 00:04:06.440
That's good.

00:04:06.440 --> 00:04:17.980
And and what gave you like, going back the six years, what gave you the inspiration to start this unique, I'd say and I'd say it is a unique undertaking.

00:04:18.200 --> 00:04:32.625
I mean, it's something I've often thought about if the the connections between them and why don't we become more conscious of the connections of the of what's going on in the body and the mind that that how would how would affects us spiritually?

00:04:34.610 --> 00:04:34.930
Yeah.

00:04:34.930 --> 00:04:35.250
Sure.

00:04:35.250 --> 00:04:52.295
There so this the initiative began, a group of Catholic mental laypeople, a group of Catholic mental health professionals who saw in their work, they were very well trained at secular universities and in the secular world of psychology.

00:04:53.395 --> 00:05:04.090
But they noticed that in their practice, when they were open to spirituality and values and many, many, many people who come for help want to talk about their faith.

00:05:04.090 --> 00:05:07.770
They want to talk about the values that are important to them.

00:05:07.770 --> 00:05:20.295
And so what they began to see, it was like, well, our training is good as far as it goes in many ways, but it's lacking this, the spiritual element or the openness to, to God and so forth.

00:05:20.295 --> 00:05:23.335
And so they decided to start a training program.

00:05:23.335 --> 00:05:30.320
They started first with continuing education programs, from people who were already practicing And that went fairly well.

00:05:30.380 --> 00:05:38.860
But they saw if they really want to make a bigger impact in the profession, there was a real need to start training students before.

00:05:38.860 --> 00:05:43.200
And so they stepped out in faith to start this, university.

00:05:45.075 --> 00:05:54.515
And, they started this before I I arrived, but, just tremendous, testimony of faith to step out and start this.

00:05:54.515 --> 00:06:07.620
And, you know, God's providence has been there over the years and has has helped us to really grow grow the school and and little by little really become, a formidable, institution.

00:06:08.480 --> 00:06:09.200
And that's good.

00:06:09.200 --> 00:06:16.255
And can I ask what what type how many and what type of courses you run?

00:06:16.255 --> 00:06:18.115
Is it done on a modular basis?

00:06:18.255 --> 00:06:20.355
Is it done through diploma, degree?

00:06:20.735 --> 00:06:27.635
Like, here in in Europe, we do a modular diploma, degree, master's, doctorate.

00:06:28.740 --> 00:06:30.920
What what way do you structure your courses?

00:06:31.700 --> 00:06:32.100
K.

00:06:32.100 --> 00:06:34.680
So we have, four different programs.

00:06:34.740 --> 00:06:38.820
One is a certificate program, which would be more kind of like a diploma.

00:06:38.820 --> 00:06:44.945
That's for spiritual direction, to form people to help for spirit to become a spiritual guide.

00:06:45.645 --> 00:06:47.105
That's a shorter program.

00:06:47.405 --> 00:06:51.965
There are six courses, six modules that they take in that.

00:06:52.445 --> 00:06:55.130
And then there's some on-site training they have to come in for.

00:06:55.130 --> 00:06:56.990
Most of that is online, by the way.

00:06:57.930 --> 00:07:01.790
And then we have two master's programs, which are online.

00:07:02.490 --> 00:07:08.110
One is a master's degree in psychology, which is 100% online.

00:07:08.585 --> 00:07:11.725
And we get people from all over the world who study that.

00:07:11.945 --> 00:07:32.730
And then we have a master's in clinical mental health counseling, which is more most of the coursework is online, but there's a requirement that the students actually do a practicum at a train at a, professional site where they'll be supervised and they'll start to get to treat clients in counseling situations.

00:07:33.270 --> 00:07:40.885
And then they also have to come on-site, for short five day, residencies three times during.

00:07:40.885 --> 00:07:43.205
It's a three year two and a half to three year program.

00:07:43.205 --> 00:07:44.405
They come on for those.

00:07:44.405 --> 00:07:45.705
So it's kind of a hybrid.

00:07:46.005 --> 00:07:50.025
And then we have a doctorate program, doctoral program in clinical psychology.

00:07:50.940 --> 00:07:57.340
That's 100% on-site, because of the, just the requirements for training to get the license and so forth.

00:07:57.340 --> 00:08:07.565
So one doctoral program, two master's program, which are online, and then a, a training program for spiritual directors, which is also online.

00:08:08.345 --> 00:08:17.405
We're hoping to start some shorter modules as well that would be good for those who aren't degree seekers or don't have the time to become a spiritual director.

00:08:18.110 --> 00:08:20.510
Hopefully those within the next twelve months are gonna come out.

00:08:20.510 --> 00:08:21.250
That's fantastic.

00:08:21.390 --> 00:08:41.335
So you're catering for all categories of individual from people that just want to, learn and develop for their own personal use or to help in their ministry, but don't have aspirations on the academic ladder to pursue a degree or a master's or a doctoral program.

00:08:41.335 --> 00:08:43.995
So you're catering for everybody, essentially.

00:08:45.175 --> 00:08:46.455
That's what we're trying to do.

00:08:46.935 --> 00:09:13.555
And, you know, there's it's if you look at the crisis right now in the world as far as mental health goes, I can give you I don't know what the statistics are in Ireland, but I can tell you in The United States over the last three years, there's been well, first, it was a bad situation to begin with, but the rates of depression and anxiety and suicide have almost tripled, part from the fallout from the pandemic.

00:09:14.735 --> 00:09:16.435
But it's just a growing crisis.

00:09:16.495 --> 00:09:22.690
And part of the challenge is, first of all, there's a shortage of people who can help.

00:09:23.710 --> 00:09:36.005
And then most of the training which is out there is is is more of a secular vision of the human person, which doesn't include faith, spirituality, values, morals, these kinds of things.

00:09:36.005 --> 00:09:39.945
And so, we're really trying to fill a huge need.

00:09:40.165 --> 00:10:07.695
And so, you know, we're looking for people who wanna become professionals in those programs, but also how do we form, first responders like who can help, in different Catholic ministries, priests and religious who don't have, don't have time to study a degree, but could get some training, and in lay people who wanna help out at their at their parish or in their area, whatever, in whatever way possible, or schools.

00:10:07.995 --> 00:10:09.115
So different things like that.

00:10:09.115 --> 00:10:10.255
That that's our mission.

00:10:10.555 --> 00:10:10.795
Yeah.

00:10:10.795 --> 00:10:27.690
You have tremendous courage in taking on that challenge because it's a challenge for the entire church worldwide because the the the COVID pandemic certainly has hammered us spiritually, physically, psychologically, emotionally.

00:10:28.595 --> 00:10:52.870
And and we were only speaking about this this morning that fear was put into people, and that fear has never been moved in a lot of cases where we notice now there's nearly an addiction to the laptop and getting mass going to mass on the laptop in case there's a chance that they might catch something in in the church of the virus in the church.

00:10:53.250 --> 00:11:07.415
And my own personal feeling has always been and I'm probably old fashioned, but I I I sincerely believe that that God will not allow any virus into his house.

00:11:07.795 --> 00:11:20.980
This is God's house that we're entering into, and that we can be to me, wearing a mask is like it's it's it's like saying, well, God, I don't trust that you're going to look after me here.

00:11:20.980 --> 00:11:29.835
I'm going to receive holy communion and how could anybody think that God would allow anything near his precious blood?

00:11:29.835 --> 00:11:46.400
Just to me, it just makes me mad to think that that level of fear can be put into people that that surpasses the belief in God and his power to protect us, especially in his own house and receiving his own body and blood.

00:11:46.780 --> 00:11:49.760
How could anything dare come against that?

00:11:51.500 --> 00:11:51.820
Yeah.

00:11:51.820 --> 00:11:52.140
Yes.

00:11:52.140 --> 00:11:58.725
And I think I think hopefully little by little people are overcoming those fears, but it's as you're you're you're correct.

00:11:58.725 --> 00:12:01.065
It's it's it's a huge challenge right now.

00:12:01.685 --> 00:12:03.365
You know, and and you know how the devil works.

00:12:03.365 --> 00:12:05.605
The devil's always gonna put doubts in your mind.

00:12:05.605 --> 00:12:12.710
And and I I think, you know, he'll use whatever he can, to to create those fears.

00:12:13.490 --> 00:12:16.290
So, yeah, it's a real challenge.

00:12:16.290 --> 00:12:31.605
I think we need to be praying for our brothers and sisters and and encouraging them to come back, and receive our Lord because there is nothing better than receiving the Eucharist and and and going to mass and and and being in communion with our fellow Catholics and Christians.

00:12:31.665 --> 00:12:33.925
It's just we're called to that.

00:12:33.985 --> 00:12:34.485
Absolutely.

00:12:34.705 --> 00:12:41.020
I remember father Slavko in saying that this lady asked him in a group session one day.

00:12:41.020 --> 00:12:43.340
She said, well, father, is it okay?

00:12:43.340 --> 00:12:45.120
Now this is way before the pandemic.

00:12:45.580 --> 00:12:47.040
This is back in the eighties.

00:12:47.580 --> 00:12:49.980
And she said or the early nineties.

00:12:49.980 --> 00:12:58.645
And she said, father, is it okay to receive, to go to, to go to holy mass and to look at it on the television?

00:12:59.345 --> 00:13:13.600
And he said, well, lady, he said, you know, how would you feel if, I handed you a dinner in front of you here today, or if I handed you a dinner on television?

00:13:14.460 --> 00:13:15.980
He says, how would you feel it?

00:13:15.980 --> 00:13:16.640
You know?

00:13:16.940 --> 00:13:29.785
He says, when you're receiving a real meal, this is okay if you're in the position where you can't, go to, physically attend because you're not able to, but then you can receive a spiritual communion.

00:13:29.785 --> 00:13:39.080
But he says, but why you receive a spiritual communion when you're able to go physically to mass and receive Jesus body, blood, soul, and divinity?

00:13:39.540 --> 00:13:42.840
Says, why are you settling for something less?

00:13:44.020 --> 00:13:45.300
And she said, okay.

00:13:45.300 --> 00:13:49.565
But I thought it was a great way that he made the point of saying, look.

00:13:49.785 --> 00:14:04.920
You cannot be the real physical presence of being there, you know, in as holy mass when the priest when it be the bread and wine becomes the body and blood of Jesus when it's transformed to the Eucharist.

00:14:04.980 --> 00:14:11.460
So Well, and it and it separates us from our, Protestant brothers and sisters.

00:14:11.460 --> 00:14:13.780
We it's the Catholic liturgy is different.

00:14:13.780 --> 00:14:14.100
Right?

00:14:14.100 --> 00:14:17.780
Because you do have it is this this holy this holy meal.

00:14:17.780 --> 00:14:23.355
It is this real presence of Jesus, and and that's a great way to to say it, so people think about it.

00:14:23.355 --> 00:14:23.595
Right?

00:14:23.595 --> 00:14:30.955
Now, obviously, some people physically and and due to age and so forth aren't required to go if they can or they're or they're ill.

00:14:30.955 --> 00:14:31.455
Sure.

00:14:31.595 --> 00:14:35.990
But but most, you know, but then I agree with you a lot.

00:14:35.990 --> 00:14:50.295
There there that idea of just going through through, the Internet, some people don't fully understand what what their responsibility is and and what more than that, what they're missing by not coming to receive Christ in the Eucharist.

00:14:50.595 --> 00:14:51.155
Oh, yes.

00:14:51.155 --> 00:14:51.555
Indeed.

00:14:51.555 --> 00:15:07.120
And and I think that's and and here's where, you know, as if believing community where we're in in, I won't say conflict, but where we're in a contradiction with the secular media of saying, oh, you know, don't mix, wear a mask.

00:15:07.580 --> 00:15:23.775
And that fear and that message is pertaining is is continuing, unfortunately, at a lesser level, you know, nearly keeping the fear level up, nearly keeping people away from, especially here in Ireland, what we do.

00:15:23.915 --> 00:15:25.775
Naturally, we love to go to mass.

00:15:26.280 --> 00:15:27.160
We love to meet.

00:15:27.160 --> 00:15:28.200
We love to talk.

00:15:28.200 --> 00:15:33.420
We love to to gather, and we love to intermingle with each other.

00:15:33.720 --> 00:15:46.515
And it's nearly breaking a culture in this whole concept of, oh, don't mix, you know, keep separate, keep your distance, stay at home, and, oh, I get so mad.

00:15:46.515 --> 00:15:50.455
Well, you know, it it you know, it's it's it's almost it's it's anti human.

00:15:50.595 --> 00:15:50.835
Right?

00:15:50.835 --> 00:15:52.295
We're we're made for relationships.

00:15:53.880 --> 00:15:59.500
And the ultimate relationship is the Holy Trinity, Father, Son, God himself is a relationship.

00:16:01.640 --> 00:16:03.400
And we're made in his likeness and image.

00:16:03.400 --> 00:16:04.860
And so we're made for relationships.

00:16:05.080 --> 00:16:12.545
And we see, you know, in the mental health area, I can tell you, one of the biggest causes of problems is loneliness and isolation.

00:16:13.325 --> 00:16:14.845
And that's not good for anybody.

00:16:14.845 --> 00:16:23.960
And so, you know, obviously, yeah, the world wants to wants to, break that down.

00:16:23.960 --> 00:16:24.200
Right?

00:16:24.200 --> 00:16:25.160
It's anti human.

00:16:25.160 --> 00:16:26.140
It's anti God.

00:16:27.320 --> 00:16:27.640
Yeah.

00:16:27.640 --> 00:16:32.745
And and, that's certainly not coming from God.

00:16:32.745 --> 00:16:48.300
And if people would realize that this is a message of fear that's been driven and if people could only believe that, you know, they're safe and coming to God's house, you know, this is God's house who loves us, You know, I think he's going to let nothing happen to us in there.

00:16:48.300 --> 00:16:49.120
Not a chance.

00:16:49.260 --> 00:16:50.560
Not a chance.

00:16:51.020 --> 00:16:57.600
And people say, oh, what did the government say and the newspapers say and I say they can say what they want.

00:16:58.035 --> 00:17:00.375
Like, God's house is God's house.

00:17:00.515 --> 00:17:01.555
He's in charge.

00:17:01.555 --> 00:17:06.935
He's in charge of the world, and he's in charge of our safety.

00:17:07.075 --> 00:17:10.835
So you can go you might have dangers going somewhere else.

00:17:10.835 --> 00:17:15.140
You certainly won't have an have it come into God's house, come into a Catholic church.

00:17:15.360 --> 00:17:19.860
There is no fear whatsoever, and there should be no fear.

00:17:20.560 --> 00:17:23.440
So that's the message of of of fate.

00:17:23.440 --> 00:17:34.085
And it's a message, by the way, people see as being defiant or being a conspiracy theorist or not believing in all the the propaganda and the fear and the whole lot.

00:17:34.085 --> 00:17:34.885
And I said, yeah.

00:17:34.885 --> 00:17:35.125
No.

00:17:35.125 --> 00:17:36.565
I don't believe in any of it.

00:17:36.565 --> 00:17:44.340
I don't believe that no not one single individual will be no matter what state their health is in coming in.

00:17:44.480 --> 00:17:50.660
They will not be affected or their hate health will not be affected by coming to church.

00:17:54.455 --> 00:18:01.115
So well, I think, you know, when we take risks for God, God never he never he's never outdone in generosity.

00:18:01.175 --> 00:18:07.550
We remember that, you know, and, I think I think I think we have to do that.

00:18:07.550 --> 00:18:16.990
And I think, you know, the, the, for the most part, the pandemic has passed and it's just, you know, you It's history.

00:18:17.230 --> 00:18:19.310
It's risky getting out of bed in the morning sometimes.

00:18:19.310 --> 00:18:21.070
So I think we need to really think about that.

00:18:21.070 --> 00:18:22.515
Like, what and what are we missing?

00:18:22.995 --> 00:18:23.772
You know?

00:18:23.772 --> 00:18:34.775
And what how important it is for us to to be in in in union with our fellow Catholics and also to, most of all, be in union with our our our our Lord through the Eucharist.

00:18:35.350 --> 00:18:35.590
Yeah.

00:18:35.590 --> 00:18:36.090
Absolutely.

00:18:36.790 --> 00:18:43.130
And, you know, father Charles, that that's where I think your courses have a lot to offer.

00:18:43.430 --> 00:18:58.365
And, certainly, here in Radio Marie, we'd be delighted to have the details on them and and let people know where they can where they can access them and access the details on them and how to apply for them.

00:18:58.365 --> 00:19:07.900
And, and I must say, there certainly is wisdom in in having something like that here in our own country.

00:19:07.900 --> 00:19:28.255
I know the encounter ministry, I think, is going to start in September, which is probably a very not as structured as your courses, but it's I think they're kind of, I won't say copying, but maybe borrowing that concept of trying to match psychotherapy with, spirituality.

00:19:29.610 --> 00:19:36.030
And and and and my wife is a clinical supervisor, psychotherapist, clinical supervisor.

00:19:36.250 --> 00:19:59.265
So so at home, we have a we have an interest in debate on, as a deacon with seven children, that we have an interest in debate with when any issues come in for prayer that, you know, Eileen will look at it from the psychotherapy point of view, and I'll be looking at it from the spiritual point of view.

00:19:59.265 --> 00:20:04.620
And we've kind of learned that there's a merger between the two.

00:20:04.620 --> 00:20:05.180
There's a merge.

00:20:05.180 --> 00:20:05.420
Right?

00:20:05.420 --> 00:20:07.980
Well, you know, you have a good head start raising seven children.

00:20:07.980 --> 00:20:12.800
That's that's, you you pick up a lot of skills along the way.

00:20:13.805 --> 00:20:19.665
But I would say if your listeners are interested, we can find more information is on our website, which is divinemercy.edu.

00:20:20.285 --> 00:20:23.265
That's divinemercy.edu on the web.

00:20:24.045 --> 00:20:27.105
And there's more information about all we're doing on there.

00:20:27.510 --> 00:20:27.590
Yeah.

00:20:27.590 --> 00:20:33.190
Because it's, it's it's unique what you are doing, and it's unique in the world.

00:20:33.190 --> 00:20:47.805
It's the first time that I've come across a university that's actually really acknowledging openly before we you try and try and ease one into a religious curriculum somewhere.

00:20:48.265 --> 00:20:55.565
But this is great that your openness would say, and this is who we are, this is what we do, and this is how you apply.

00:20:56.970 --> 00:21:03.870
So, really, part of the reason that happened, part of it is that, you many it's a very secular field overall.

00:21:04.650 --> 00:21:15.565
And so here in The United States, many of the Catholic universities who do have programs kind of fell into just little by little accepting what the secular profession was offering.

00:21:16.825 --> 00:21:23.865
And then those universities which, have a strong Catholic identity, many don't have graduate level programs.

00:21:23.865 --> 00:21:26.380
And so we're trying to fill that need.

00:21:27.240 --> 00:21:36.710
And as you say, and we're not, you know, we're not saying we're God's gift to the world, but, there aren't many, there aren't many, there's tremendous interest internationally, but there aren't that many schools who try to do this.

00:21:37.875 --> 00:21:41.175
Internationally, but there aren't that many schools who try to do this.

00:21:41.475 --> 00:21:50.500
Well, in fairness, yeah, I I like the idea as well of being able to do it online from your own home and without having to travel anywhere.

00:21:51.040 --> 00:22:02.340
I I like that idea, and I like the idea of you're training spiritual directors up, again online without having to travel over to the university itself.

00:22:03.295 --> 00:22:05.375
I I like I like that.

00:22:05.375 --> 00:22:16.035
And, in fact, I like the whole ethos of what you're doing and the courage you have in doing it in facing into that challenge that's facing the whole church.

00:22:17.440 --> 00:22:18.480
Well, thank you, Deacon Dunn.

00:22:18.480 --> 00:22:19.360
I appreciate that.

00:22:19.360 --> 00:22:19.760
Yeah.

00:22:19.760 --> 00:22:23.140
And I appreciate what you're doing there, on the airwaves.

00:22:23.200 --> 00:22:23.440
Right?

00:22:23.440 --> 00:22:25.700
Getting a message out, preaching the gospel.

00:22:26.160 --> 00:22:27.600
Oh, that's great.

00:22:27.600 --> 00:22:31.280
So we're we're fellow pilgrims on the one road, on the one journey.

00:22:31.280 --> 00:22:39.655
So I'll be delighted to, now that I've it's great to meet you and to have this conversation and interview.

00:22:40.195 --> 00:22:52.040
And this will go out to all our listeners, and we put it out through the whole Radio Maria network because as I said, until Liz told me about yourselves, I wasn't aware.

00:22:52.500 --> 00:22:59.540
You know, after all my involvement in Divine Mercy, I have to ashamedly say that I hadn't come across Yousaf.

00:22:59.540 --> 00:23:03.555
But now that I have, I certainly will let our network know.

00:23:04.255 --> 00:23:16.370
We have a conference every year in Ireland here, biggest conference in Ireland, in fact, in Europe, and, probably one of the biggest in the world every February and a divine mercy conference.

00:23:16.370 --> 00:23:18.550
So we've a huge network.

00:23:19.090 --> 00:23:28.470
So we'll certainly let the network know as well that these courses are on offer and they're available, and I think it's a great contribution you're making.

00:23:29.035 --> 00:23:30.315
Well well, thank you very much.

00:23:30.315 --> 00:23:30.795
No shame.

00:23:30.795 --> 00:23:35.835
And shame on us for not getting more publicity out there, but we're little by little, we're getting the word out.

00:23:35.835 --> 00:23:38.655
Well, I hope this this interview helps.

00:23:39.035 --> 00:23:39.995
Thank you very much.

00:23:39.995 --> 00:23:41.935
So father, would you give us your blessing?

00:23:43.220 --> 00:23:43.880
I would.

00:23:45.220 --> 00:23:50.520
May the blessing of almighty God descend upon all the listeners of Radio Maria.

00:23:51.060 --> 00:23:52.420
Bless them and their families.

00:23:52.420 --> 00:23:59.495
Help them to open their hearts and receive God's grace to to follow our Lord each and every day.

00:23:59.795 --> 00:24:05.875
Lead them all to your blessed life eternal and and bless them and their families.

00:24:05.875 --> 00:24:08.275
In the name of the Father and the Son and Holy Spirit.

00:24:08.275 --> 00:24:08.775
Amen.

00:24:09.451 --> 00:24:09.951
Amen.

00:24:10.091 --> 00:24:16.911
Father Charles Sikorsky, thank you so much for being with us, and thanks to all our listeners for joining us on Chatechesis.
