[00:00:12] This has been the hottest one of the hottest theological debates for
[00:00:19] 30 40 years
[00:00:21] I've debated
[00:00:23] argued
[00:00:24] fussed with pastors and Christians
[00:00:29] But this right here comes from many years of study and all this
[00:00:33] And again, we've been told lies. We've been told lies about a lot of things, but we've been told well, you know
[00:00:40] If I'm a Christian, you know
[00:00:43] What Concord has Christ would rely on light with darkness can't mix and I'm like, okay
[00:00:48] let's we're gonna have to straighten all of this out because
[00:00:53] Christians do have demonic strongholds in them. I found it out very early on
[00:00:57] One of my first converts came out of high-level Satanism in witchcraft. One of the first people I led to the Lord and
[00:01:06] a group of us started discipling this young lady and
[00:01:11] She was doing good. She was she was telling us everything that went on in Satanism the occult world at the time
[00:01:18] I found out things back then before the Internet existed
[00:01:23] For us anyway
[00:01:25] But I found out things back then that have turned out to be very true
[00:01:29] Everything from the truth about the Nephilim the Giants
[00:01:33] Being in the last days all kinds of stuff. She revealed but she was walking with the Lord
[00:01:40] when one day
[00:01:42] out of this
[00:01:45] young lady came this very loud
[00:01:49] male voice and
[00:01:52] She was born again
[00:01:54] So my theology God started out early
[00:01:58] By just letting me see it happen. All right, and then I had to go and figure out. Okay
[00:02:05] Where is this in the word? Because when you got a 16 year old girl going? My name is Lee John
[00:02:11] And it's so loud that it hurts your ears
[00:02:16] and you're like
[00:02:19] Okay
[00:02:21] We've just stepped into a whole new realm here and of course it took about 15 minutes, but we finally
[00:02:28] Got those demons out of her and she told me she said it was strange when they took over
[00:02:32] She said I felt like that I was pushed down in a well and I could hear the demons talking to you through my body
[00:02:40] And I could hear you talking to them, but I couldn't say anything that I wanted to say
[00:02:45] She said but I heard the whole conversation going on
[00:02:48] And the whole fight so when we got rid of the Legion because she did she had a legion and
[00:02:55] She had been brought up in Satanism generational Satanism, so
[00:03:01] it was that was my beginning and
[00:03:05] It was because God wanted me to teach this and try to help people get free
[00:03:11] When we come to talking about Christians can Christians have demons in them when the first scriptures that should come to your mind
[00:03:17] Is this one in Ephesians 4 27 neither give place to the devil now?
[00:03:21] This was written to Christians if you go to Ephesians 1 1 when he wrote
[00:03:26] Ephesians and Paul wrote Ephesians the Holy Spirit led him to do this
[00:03:29] He said to the saints and to the faithful in Christ Jesus
[00:03:34] So he's not speaking the book of Ephesians is not written to the unsaved not any part of it
[00:03:39] it is written to the born-again Christians the church of Ephesus and
[00:03:44] they
[00:03:45] were plainly told
[00:03:48] Neither or don't give place to the devil now if a Christian couldn't give place to the devil
[00:03:54] Why would you be told to not give place to the devil all right the word?
[00:04:00] Place there is the word we get us topos where we get the word topography from meaning any place on your map folks
[00:04:09] Don't give them place if you give the devil place meaning you open a door you give him legal right he will seize that
[00:04:17] That land
[00:04:19] Which is you he'll seize that part, and he'll stay there, and he he's a squatter

[00:04:27] He'll squat and not want to leave of course we know
[00:04:32] That we need to be careful Christians were told this that we would be sober vigilant because the devil seeking to devour us
[00:04:38] So again warnings to Christians so that the just the concept that a Christian couldn't be attacked or a door couldn't be open or
[00:04:46] Place-given it's just not biblical. I know it sounds like you're you know preaching the victory, but no
[00:04:55] You give them the place they will take it every time all right, so let's look at this verse Ecclesiastes 10 8
[00:05:04] Says whose soul ever
[00:05:06] Breaks the hedge a serpent will bite, but let's read the whole thing he that dig at the pit shall fall into it
[00:05:11] So that means if you dig your own pit guess what?
[00:05:15] you're gonna fall into it and who so breaketh a hedge a
[00:05:20] Serpent shall bite him now. I do believe God puts a hedge of protection around his people
[00:05:25] Right, but then he says who so who's who so?
[00:05:31] You me you
[00:05:34] We're all who so
[00:05:36] The whosoever breaks the hedge a serpent will bite him now a serpent bites you guess what I've been bitten by water moccasins
[00:05:44] So I know how this goes
[00:05:46] Things go in you and there's poison
[00:05:50] Then I'm injected in you and left in you to do you harm
[00:05:54] When God uses these terms like if you break the hedge a serpent will bite you he's letting you know a demon a devil is
[00:06:02] Going to put something in you
[00:06:05] That's to do you harm. That's the whole picture. That's the whole word picture you get
[00:06:12] But who so means just the unsaved
[00:06:16] No
[00:06:18] No, saved or unsaved you open doorways you get demons
[00:06:23] Ignorance is not bliss when it comes to the kingdom of God and spiritual warfare
[00:06:27] Second Corinthians 2 11 lest Satan should get advantage of us for we are not ignorant to his devices
[00:06:32] Well, what's the flip side of that coin if you're ignorant to his devices?
[00:06:35] He will get an advantage over you he will find a way to get in through your ignorance
[00:06:40] You will do something that will let him in that's why God said my people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge in Hosea 4 6
[00:06:46] Think about that. My people my people my people
[00:06:50] Are destroyed for a lack of knowledge and then he says what happens God brings some knowledge and then they reject it
[00:06:58] Because you've rejected knowledge. I will also reject you
[00:07:01] You want to know why a lot of people are in in trouble Christians are in trouble
[00:07:05] Because first of all, they either ignorant and then God tries to bring them knowledge and then they reject that
[00:07:11] Don't reject knowledge of God's Word and truth
[00:07:15] Matthew 12 43 to 45. I mentioned this a minute ago, but we're gonna read it
[00:07:20] Jesus said here when the unclean spirit has gone out of a man
[00:07:23] He walked it through dry places seek and rest and find it done then he saith
[00:07:27] I'll return into my house from whence I came out and when he has come he findeth it empty
[00:07:34] Swept and garnish then goeth he and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself
[00:07:39] And they enter in and dwell there and the last state of that man is worse than the first even so shall it be?
[00:07:44] Also into this wicked generation
[00:07:46] So Jesus is talking about when he says when the unclean spirit is gone out of a man
[00:07:51] Well, what does that mean? Do they just leave once they get in?
[00:07:54] No, let me tell you why they want a body because they used to have a body and they they cannot find any rest or satisfaction
[00:08:05] Unless they're in a body. This is why demons want to get in you
[00:08:10] They don't want to just hang out with you
[00:08:12] They want to get in you because they want to use your body to feel and do the things they used to do when they were wicked
[00:08:19] when they were wicked
[00:08:21] entities walking around the earth
[00:08:23] But he says here when the unclean spirits gone out of a man, so somebody cast the demons out of somebody
[00:08:30] But he said that house was empty
[00:08:34] Swept and garnish. So if the house is empty meaning no Jesus no Holy Spirit
[00:08:39] The house is empty the demons can come right back in. This is why I tell you and I've been teaching this for over 30 years
[00:08:47] You don't cast demons out of unsaved people
[00:08:52] Unless you know you can lead them to Jesus. Now. There's a few exceptions. I have ministered to people
[00:08:58] who were so demon possessed that they were about to be put in a mental institution and
[00:09:05] I have cast demons out of them just so I could talk to them sense to them and hopefully lead them to Jesus and I've
[00:09:11] Seen success with this. I mean we had a guy completely flipping out demon possessed
[00:09:18] He was in another location from me another house in the same city people were with him
[00:09:24] And he was telling them tell Dean to stop praying for me and I was praying for him was I was trying to come over to
[00:09:30] To minister to him and he was about to be taken down to a mental hospital
[00:09:35] And I just said, you know, we got to do what we can
[00:09:38] So it started casting some demons out of you know what he got better
[00:09:42] He got out of there pretty quick and he got better. He got his life together. He got a job. He had a family. I mean
[00:09:49] This guy was headed down a bad road, but
[00:09:53] very rare situation
[00:09:55] Okay, I wouldn't advise it because if you do it and they they're empty. They don't have Jesus
[00:10:02] They're not born again. They don't have the Holy Spirit dwelling in them. You're gonna make them worse
[00:10:07] All right, which again
[00:10:10] confirms
[00:10:11] That deliverance is primarily for us
[00:10:15] The children's the children's bread as we're gonna see right? Let's keep going here. Oh, there's your little devil in the dry places
[00:10:26] Right you still buying the demons in an unsaved person
[00:10:29] Right like we did with my mom that night you bind the demons in them and command them to stop their works
[00:10:34] So they can hear what you're saying
[00:10:36] Definitely all the time. All right. There's your devil's
[00:10:43] First Corinthians 10 9 through 20 again written to Christians
[00:10:47] He says what say I then this Apostle Paul by the Holy Spirit saying that the idol is anything or that which is offered to sacrifice
[00:10:54] The idols is anything but I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice
[00:10:58] They sacrifice to Devils or demons or unclean spirits and not to God
[00:11:03] I would not that you should have fellowship with devils
[00:11:07] He was warning them Christians if you
[00:11:11] Participate in anything pagan or idolatrous
[00:11:15] You are going to be fellowshipping with demons
[00:11:18] This word fellowship is the same Greek word used about having fellowship with the Holy Spirit of God
[00:11:25] And where do you have fellowship with the Holy Spirit of God in you? So he's saying if you open the door Christians
[00:11:34] through paganism
[00:11:36] Witchcraft sin you open the door. He's saying don't do it because I don't want you
[00:11:42] to have fellowship with
[00:11:44] Devils and that spiritual fellowship and there it is partakers with demon coinos share associate
[00:11:53] Same word as having being a partaker having communion having fellowship with the Holy Spirit. There it is right there
[00:12:00] I like to prove what I believe here. All right, so let's go to this. We're gonna move through this
[00:12:08] Says now when he was this is Matthew 8 16 again
[00:12:11] It says when they were when even was come they brought into him many that were possessed with the Devils
[00:12:16] And he cast out the spirits with his word. We mentioned this a minute ago now the word possessed here
[00:12:22] It is remember. I talked about it a minute ago. It's not the same word
[00:12:26] Is what we think possessed means in English?
[00:12:29] It just simply means to be possessed with Devils
[00:12:32] It means to be vexed with a demon possessed with a devil
[00:12:37] All right, so notice he even here it puts it can be a devil or devils you can be
[00:12:44] You can be not so bad or you can be really bad. It's it's degrees
[00:12:48] And so down here the strong's definition says to be exercised by a demon to have be vexed with be possessed with
[00:12:57] To be under the power of a demon. We're gonna jump through some of this
[00:13:01] So there's three degrees of demon possession in the New Testament. I'll show you what it is
[00:13:06] Luke 13 11 through 17 the daughter of Abraham notice. He said daughter of Abraham that means a blood covenant child of God
[00:13:13] Before Jesus went to the cross you were a true Israelite you were under the blood covenant
[00:13:18] So he says the daughter of Abraham had one demon everybody say one demon
[00:13:24] Yet it was destroying her health
[00:13:28] one demon and
[00:13:30] Jesus cast that demon out of her and she was healed then we see in Luke 8 1 through 3 Mary Magdalene had
[00:13:36] seven demons
[00:13:39] Alright, so Mary Magdalene was a little worse
[00:13:41] than the lady in Luke chapter 13 and then we have mark 5
[00:13:47] The Gatorine demoniac right the guy who had the legion of demons anywhere from two to six thousand
[00:13:53] And he was the one cutting himself with stones and crying out and running around naked and they tried to chain him up
[00:14:00] He was breaking chains
[00:14:01] These kind of people end up in mental institutions in the present time
[00:14:06] Except I've been to Africa and in Africa they chain them to trees
[00:14:12] Trying to keep them protect the rest of society
[00:14:15] I went to a church to preach there in Nigeria and I walked behind the church and they had places where these people were chained to
[00:14:21] trees and they had little cots out there and they were because the church was fasting and praying for them to set them free
[00:14:30] They didn't have mental institutions to ship them all to you. All right, so I've seen this with my own eyes
[00:14:37] Here's your house. So there's your there's your house. You have multiple rooms spirit soul and body of different rooms in that
[00:14:44] There's the woman. She just had one demon in there
[00:14:47] crippling her then your house could have seven demons in it like Mary Magdalene, right or
[00:14:54] You could be like this
[00:14:56] It could be any of those
[00:15:02] So there's some things you don't understand
[00:15:05] Three things that we understand first the things that happened unto them in the Old Testament are examples unto us in the New Testament
[00:15:11] Many things that actually happened in the Old Testament are types and shadows and allegories of New Testament truth
[00:15:17] Like the first Passover the Lord Jesus was ministering under the Old Testament as he was establishing the new this is very important for you understand
[00:15:25] Jesus was operating under the Old Covenant as he was getting ready
[00:15:29] The New Testament was not established until he died on the cross and rose from the dead. That's when the temple veil was rent
[00:15:36] So you you understand these three things now we look at these types and shadows real quick
[00:15:42] He says more of a brethren 1st Corinthians 10 1 through 6 more of a brother
[00:15:45] And I would not that you should be ignorant
[00:15:47] How that all of our fathers were under the cloud and all passed through the sea
[00:15:51] And we're all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea and did all eat the same spiritual meat and
[00:15:56] Did all drink the same spiritual drink for they drank of that spiritual rock that followed them and that rock was Christ
[00:16:01] But with many of them God was not well-pleased for they were overthrown in the wilderness now these things were our
[00:16:08] Examples everybody say that now these things were our examples
[00:16:14] examples type shadows to the intent that we as believers followers of God children of God
[00:16:21] Should not lust after these evil things as they also lusted so they're examples. They're a warning right so here
[00:16:29] We go it says neither be idolaters as were some of them as it is written the people sat down to eat and drink and rose
[00:16:36] Up to play neither let us commit fornication as some of them committed and fell in one day three and twenty thousand
[00:16:42] Neither let us tempt Christ as some also tempted and were destroyed of serpents
[00:16:47] Wait a minute now
[00:16:48] He says this is an example to us
[00:16:52] If we tempt Jesus we do things he said not to do
[00:16:56] Thank you. We're gonna get away with it. No, we're gonna get destroyed by serpents. What are these serpents demons?
[00:17:02] Saying you will be destroyed by demons if you keep giving them place in your life through sin disobedience
[00:17:07] ignorance
[00:17:08] He said these are written for our admonition
[00:17:12] So he repeats it again all these things were happened unto them for examples
[00:17:16] And they were written for our admonition upon whom the ends of the world are come
[00:17:21] Wherefore let him that think if he stand it take heed lest he fall
[00:17:25] Well if you're the only the Christian fall
[00:17:27] The wicked are already controlled by the devil. They're already property of the devil
[00:17:32] So he says here take heed you take heed you do the same stuff. They did
[00:17:38] Serpents are coming. All right. Now. Let's keep reading. There's the definition of example
[00:17:45] Should be enough for you. Here's the example when we go through Egypt
[00:17:53] Remember when the when the Israelites came out of Egypt
[00:17:56] They had to put the blood of the Lamb on the door post and God brought them out and the death angel passed over them
[00:18:01] What is that a type or shadow of an example in the New Testament? We all know this
[00:18:07] Salvation
[00:18:08] So when we come out of the world system to come out of our sins we come out of our slavery to that world to that system
[00:18:15] through the blood of Jesus through faith in the blood of Jesus and
[00:18:19] That is our Passover. Jesus is our Passover now
[00:18:23] Then the Bible talks about that. There were two baptisms in the wilderness
[00:18:28] The two baptisms the water and the cloud of God more of a brother
[00:18:32] And I would not that you should be ignorant how that all of our fathers were under the cloud and all passed through
[00:18:36] The sea and were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud of the presence of God the Holy Spirit and in the sea
[00:18:44] So he's saying that when they went through the Red Sea that was a type and shadow an example of water baptism
[00:18:51] He says as they went through the went through the cloud of God's presence
[00:18:54] That was a type and shadow of the baptism of the Holy Spirit that we see in Acts chapter 2 and Acts chapter 10 and 19
[00:19:00] So we get these types and shadows, but that do they end at the Red Sea?

[00:19:07] Because we have the Promised Land shadow here now remember I remember growing up. I remember going to
[00:19:17] Pentecostal Assembly of God Church with my great-aunt and my great-grandmother
[00:19:22] I remember the songs that were saying and I remember everybody talking about we're going to the Promised Land and
[00:19:28] The Promised Land was heaven
[00:19:31] Wait a minute now. Is that the type and shadow we have in the Old Testament of what the Promised Land is? No
[00:19:38] The Promised Land was not a type of heaven folks
[00:19:40] And they told him said we came unto the land with thou sent us and surely it floweth with milk and honey
[00:19:46] And this is the fruit of it nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land and the cities are walled and very great
[00:19:52] And over we saw the children of a neck there the Giants the Nephilim
[00:19:56] The very ones where these evil spirits came from he said they're in the land you promised us this land God and
[00:20:04] Surely it's a good land. It's blessed. It's flowing with milk and honey the fruit is amazing
[00:20:09] but
[00:20:10] The children of a neck are there the Giants are there the evil ones are there. They're in our land. God
[00:20:17] What do we do?
[00:20:18] And says because of that they got fearful they brought an evil report of the land
[00:20:23] They had searched out and says and they went on to say and all the people that we saw in it are men of great
[00:20:28] stature
[00:20:29] And we saw the Giants and the sons of a neck which come of the Giants and we in our own sight as
[00:20:34] Grasshoppers, so we were in their sight so this is some of the early Canaanite some of them were at 36 feet y'all
[00:20:43] these
[00:20:45] Skeletons have been found of course the Smithsonian now hides them underground so nobody can see them
[00:20:50] But these are what's talked about in the Bible
[00:20:54] Average height of a man six feet we had 12 foot og was between 12 and 18 feet
[00:21:00] King Og of Bishan and so on but these are what was in the land now
[00:21:05] Heaven is not a type and shadow. What did they have to do their job was to drive out?
[00:21:11] the inhabitants of the land
[00:21:13] Can I say right now that you taking your promised land the type and shadow of the New Testament is to drive out?
[00:21:21] The evil ones out of your land
[00:21:24] Its deliverance you hear me. It's not about going to heaven as far as I know
[00:21:30] There's no Giants and evil ones in heaven, right?
[00:21:32] So it couldn't be that the promised land could not be a type and shadow
[00:21:37] It was actually a type and shadow of our spiritual warfare
[00:21:40] There were strongholds there like Jericho that had to be torn down
[00:21:44] There were evil ones there that had to be destroyed and the reason God wanted to kill all those groups is because they were not
[00:21:50] All human they were hot they were half human and half fallen angel, and they were determined evil
[00:21:57] That's why God wiped out
[00:21:58] That's why he would say things like that we're gonna wipe out all the men women and children he's talking about these evil ones
[00:22:06] not
[00:22:07] real humans
[00:22:09] Pure humans. All right
[00:22:11] Here he said right here and it came to pass when Israel was strong that they put the Canaanites to tribute and did not utterly drive
[00:22:18] Them out. This was in direct disobedience
[00:22:21] And so he says there and the angel of the Lord came upon Gilgal to bokem
[00:22:26] And said I made you to go up out of Egypt
[00:22:30] Salvation I brought you into the land which I swear to your fathers
[00:22:33] I brought you to where you needed to drive these people out cast them out
[00:22:38] He said and I will never break my covenant with you and you shall make no league with the inhabitants of the land
[00:22:43] But you shall throw down their altars, but you have not obeyed my voice. Why have you done this?
[00:22:48] Wherefore I also said I will not drive them out from before you, but they shall be as thorns in your sides
[00:22:55] Their gods shall be a snare to you their gods are demon gods
[00:22:59] And he says because you didn't drive them out like I told you to do
[00:23:07] Now they're gonna be a problem for you and I'm telling you right now if you don't drive out every demonic stronghold in your life
[00:23:13] They're gonna be a problem for you big problem. Now. Here's the argument about light and darkness
[00:23:21] Everybody said Oh light and darkness can't dwell in the same place
[00:23:23] If you're Christian you are full of light. Let me tell you something. I've yet to meet a Christian
[00:23:27] It's absolutely full of light and no darkness at all and no issues. Have you I
[00:23:33] Hadn't met this holy glow in one yet. The only one perfect is Jesus
[00:23:42] Rest of us got some cleaning up to do
[00:23:46] Alright, so he says here this is second Corinthians 6 13 through 8 light and darkness
[00:23:53] Okay
[00:23:53] This is what they say now now for a recompense in the same I speak as unto my children
[00:23:57] Be also enlarged be not unequally yoked together with unbelievers for what fellowship hath the righteousness with unrighteous
[00:24:05] what communion hath light with darkness what Concord has Christ would allow or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel and
[00:24:10] What agreement hath the temple of God with idols for you are the temple of the living God as God had said
[00:24:15] I will dwell in them and walk in them and I will be their God and they shall be my people wherefore
[00:24:22] Come out from among them and be separate sayeth the Lord and touch not
[00:24:27] The unclean thing and I will receive you and I will be a father unto you and you shall be my sons and daughters
[00:24:33] Sayeth the Lord Almighty now the fact that he had to say this to the Corinthians. We know from church history
[00:24:38] We know from reading first and second Corinthians that they were doing these things. They were already
[00:24:44] Participating in idolatry fornication. They were still a lot of problems in this church
[00:24:49] So he was telling them you have to come out from that you have to stop touching the unclean thing
[00:24:56] You can't use this as an argument that a Christian can't have a demon in it. It just doesn't exist
[00:25:01] That's not the context
[00:25:03] Nor does it say that they were obviously already doing these things which is why?
[00:25:09] He had to tell us and just so you know the argument that light and darkness can't dwell in the same place now
[00:25:17] God is is omnipresent. He's everywhere
[00:25:20] If light and darkness could not exist in the same place then Satan and his demons could not exist at all
[00:25:26] God is everywhere, right?
[00:25:29] Job
[00:25:30] We see that in Job
[00:25:31] It's not the case Satan came into heaven into the presence of God to petition for Job
[00:25:35] How can you say that Satan and demons couldn't be in the same place where God and his presence is?
[00:25:42] Where did you get that from?
[00:25:45] preachers
[00:25:47] Didn't know what they were talking about because they didn't think through this
[00:25:52] Satan goes to the very throne of God to petition for he did it with Job Peter and he does it for you and me
[00:25:58] And God allows it to happen like Psalm 37
[00:26:06] 139 here 7 through 12
[00:26:08] David says where shall I go from your spirit?
[00:26:10] Where shall I flee from your presence if I ascend up in heaven you are there if I have make my bed in hell
[00:26:15] You were there. There's nowhere. I go from the presence of God
[00:26:19] God allows Satan and demons to exist and
[00:26:23] He lets them exist in places even where he is and where he is moving for his purposes
[00:26:29] And I believe he lets them he let the the
[00:26:33] The Canaanites the children of a neck. I believe he let them stay in that land. God could have just made them all drop dead
[00:26:39] Right, couldn't he have just cleared the land out for them years before he let them free from Egypt
[00:26:45] Say why did God let them stay in the land the Giants?
[00:26:49] Because he wanted his people to be warriors
[00:26:53] You hear me not whims
[00:26:56] warriors
[00:26:57] So he allows difficulty in our life. He allows enemies
[00:27:02] He allows these things to happen
[00:27:05] So we'll rise up and fight. He doesn't want us to be wimps y'all now
[00:27:11] Look at it. This is where job look at if there's any doubt now
[00:27:16] there was a day when the sons of God the angels came to present themselves before the Lord and
[00:27:21] Satan came also among them
[00:27:23] Do you see that and the Lord and Satan had a little conversation about Job and it says so Satan went forth
[00:27:29] from where
[00:27:30] The presence of the Lord meaning he was in the presence of the Lord and then left

[00:27:45] Here's another one Samuel anointed King Saul. I'm gonna run through this real quick
[00:27:54] King Saul remember the Old Testament type and shadows for us in the new what we learned from King Saul
[00:27:59] King Saul was an Israelite. He was a child of God
[00:28:02] Called by God anointed by God Samuel anoints him
[00:28:05] It's interesting the language about King Saul
[00:28:08] It says the Spirit of the Lord Samuel said will come upon you and you shall prophesy with them
[00:28:13] And you shall be turned into another man. Think about that
[00:28:17] God gave him another heart and it says in the Spirit of God came on him and he prophesied among them
[00:28:23] Doesn't this sound familiar if any man be in Christ?
[00:28:26] He is a new creature old things pass away all things become new God gives us a new heart and
[00:28:32] The Spirit of God comes in us and then we begin to operate in the gifts of the Spirit
[00:28:37] So here's the type of shadow
[00:28:39] We have King Saul being anointed filled with the Holy Spirit given a new heart changed into another man the gifts of the Holy Spirit
[00:28:46] Operating in him and then he begins to disobey
[00:28:52] For rebellion is the sin of witchcraft stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry
[00:28:57] Samuel told
[00:28:58] The prophet told Saul what to do Saul directly disobeyed it and the moment that that started happening
[00:29:07] What look what it says there?
[00:29:09] But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul and an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him
[00:29:14] And it says down here and it came to pass that the evil spirit from God came upon Saul
[00:29:20] And he prophesied in the midst of the house and David played with his hand at other times
[00:29:23] And there was a javelin in Saul's hand and Saul cast the javelin for he said I will smite David even to the wall
[00:29:29] Think about that. Here's a man
[00:29:32] God anoints fills with his spirit changes him gives him another heart makes him the leader of his people. He's
[00:29:40] prophesying
[00:29:42] operating in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and then he begins a life of disobedience and
[00:29:50] Then an evil spirit come and now he's trying to kill
[00:29:54] The ones who are anointed you think Christian can't go the same route. No, they can't
[00:30:05] You can fall away from God and Saul ends up in witchcraft and dead. Now. This is the one I really want to get to here
[00:30:11] I want you to turn if you got your Bibles Matthew 15 want you to read it for yourself
[00:30:22] Matthew 15 21 3 24 remember what I said about Jesus a minute ago. It was very important. I understand he was operating
[00:30:29] Under the Old Covenant until his death and resurrection
[00:30:32] So here's what it says
[00:30:35] Then Jesus went thence and departed into the coast of Tyre and Sidon and behold a woman of Canaan came out of the same
[00:30:40] Coast a woman of Canaan would been
[00:30:43] someone
[00:30:44] Not in Israelite
[00:30:46] Outside of the Covenant of God, they're not under the blood covenant
[00:30:49] So this woman represents an unsaved person to us someone outside of the Covenant
[00:30:55] Not born again not covered by the blood of Jesus
[00:30:59] So this woman have came and came out of the same coast and cried in him saying have mercy on me
[00:31:05] Oh Lord, thou son of David. My daughter is
[00:31:07] Is grievously vexed with the devil, but he answered her not a word
[00:31:14] Now was Jesus be if I did this
[00:31:17] People say he that guy's so rude
[00:31:20] Here she's begging. Oh my daughter needs help and Jesus didn't even say a word
[00:31:29] I think he didn't say a word because she knew better
[00:31:35] And his disciples came and sought him saying send her away for she cries after us
[00:31:41] But he answered and said I am NOT sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel
[00:31:46] But remember this Jesus made another statement. He said I am NOT sent to the righteous
[00:31:53] But to the sinner, well, it seems like we have a contradiction doesn't he? He said I came to call sinners to repentance
[00:32:00] Right, we know that Gentiles
[00:32:03] Got saved. We know that Jesus called out to them, right?
[00:32:07] What is this about this is about this deliverance issue. It's not about salvation issue
[00:32:12] He said I'm not sent to cast demons out of people except for the house of Israel the ones under the blood covenant
[00:32:20] This is what he was pointing out. How do we know this continues?
[00:32:25] so this woman
[00:32:28] Refuses to give up like most most Christians get offended leave church never come back, right?
[00:32:36] This woman wouldn't give up and she came and she worship and saying Lord help me
[00:32:42] But he answered and said so, you know, he didn't talk at first now. He insults her
[00:32:49] He said it is not meat or it's not right to take the children's bread and to cast it to the dogs
[00:32:57] ouch
[00:32:59] The dogs were a reference to those who were Gentiles
[00:33:06] Outside of the Covenant unclean and he says
[00:33:11] Jesus said it's not right to take the children's bread. Well, what was she asking for?
[00:33:16] Deliverance for her daughter. He she wanted the demons cast out of her daughter. It was deliverance
[00:33:22] She's asking for and Jesus said it's not right to take the children's bread
[00:33:27] Say this with me deliverance is
[00:33:30] the children's bread and
[00:33:33] It's not right
[00:33:35] To give it to those outside
[00:33:38] Because you make them worse
[00:33:41] It's not it's not a mean thing. It's not an evil thing. You don't want to make them worse
[00:33:47] You see this is why a lot of times people call me and they're like, oh, I'm just having all these troubles
[00:33:54] I
[00:33:55] Had one person come from a long way. Oh, they even moved here. I'm having all I need deliverance
[00:34:01] I need this I need that and I just the Lord just kept him. Nope
[00:34:05] No, don't do it. I didn't know why at the moment. Don't do it. I was even driving
[00:34:11] I mean he got desperate, you know, a lot of times us preachers that people get desperate. Oh, you got to come
[00:34:16] You got to come help me and just
[00:34:18] Okay, and so I was driving to church actually meet him to pray with him and I'm driving there and the Lord said no
[00:34:23] You don't don't you do it?
[00:34:26] Do not pray for him. You will make him worse and I thought okay, so this guy not say sure enough
[00:34:33] Coming to church for months could talk the Christian talk when we got down to the brass tacks and I start asking
[00:34:40] Hey, when were you born again?
[00:34:43] Well, uh, I don't know
[00:34:46] What do you mean? You don't know you cannot be born again and not know it and I said and he goes, you know
[00:34:54] I said have you ever had a moment where you truly repented and you truly
[00:34:58] Asked Jesus to be your Lord and Savior and you felt him come into your life and transform it. He said no
[00:35:04] And I said, well your problem is you never been born again
[00:35:07] I said, I'm so glad that I didn't meet with you and cast demons out of you
[00:35:13] Now he got a little offended at that, but I don't care. It's the truth. He admitted he wasn't born again
[00:35:19] I'm not we know this I said you're getting the cart before the horse. I
[00:35:24] Said you need to get saved first and you need to do whatever is necessary
[00:35:29] In your life to get saved and give your life to Jesus. Then we'll sit down after we know
[00:35:36] You're saying and this is what Jesus was doing
[00:35:40] He said it's not right to take the children's bread and cast it to dogs and she said truth. She'd say she knew
[00:35:48] truth Lord
[00:35:50] Yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from her master's table now
[00:35:54] I want to tell you right now what you're seeing here is a demonstration of someone
[00:35:59] Operating in great humility and faith
[00:36:04] This is why Jesus finally said and he adds old woman
[00:36:08] Great is your faith?
[00:36:10] Be it unto thee even as thou wilt and her daughter was made whole from that very hour. She was delivered from the demons
[00:36:17] it was her humility and
[00:36:20] her faith and she went from being an
[00:36:25] Unbeliever to a believer and so Jesus granted her her request
[00:36:31] This is so vitally important
[00:36:33] Now this is another good illustration in the New Testament Lazarus, you know Lazarus died right dead for four days
[00:36:44] Then Jesus came and raised him from the dead and look what it says there in the end of this and John 11
[00:36:50] Is that he that was dead came forth?
[00:36:53] Bound hand and foot with grave clothes and his face was bound about with a napkin and Jesus said unto them
[00:36:59] Loose him and let him go
[00:37:01] This is such a beautiful picture because the Bible talks about that when we are born again
[00:37:05] We come out of spiritual death into spiritual life. We are raised to life in Christ Jesus
[00:37:12] But yet many of us still walk around
[00:37:17] bound up a total prisoner of war
[00:37:21] Still captured by the things of death those unclean rags that were wrapped around Lazarus
[00:37:28] Represent the unclean spirits that still have us bound up even after we've been raised to life even after we've been saved
[00:37:34] It's all wrapped around us and notice Jesus did not go and set this person free from their
[00:37:41] Their grave clothes he told the people nearby
[00:37:45] Go loose him and let him go
[00:37:47] this is something I want to get across to all of you when it comes to demons and
[00:37:54] Devils Jesus does not do it for us
[00:37:57] You hear me?
[00:37:59] The Bible says this and we're talking about this is the two cleanings and I'm about I'm about to finish right here
[00:38:05] The two cleanses. All right
[00:38:08] If you notice the tabernacle here the ancient tabernacle of Moses
[00:38:11] You went into the court and there were two things you had to go through first before you went into the holy place
[00:38:16] One was the brazen altar where the sacrifice was the blood sacrifice and the burnt offering
[00:38:23] That's the blood of Jesus. That's the forgiveness of your sins
[00:38:27] The next one was the lather it was the water and you were to wash and and and be clean before you went in
[00:38:34] So there's two things that had to cleanse you here
[00:38:37] One was the blood sacrifice
[00:38:40] the second
[00:38:41] Was what you had to do yourself
[00:38:45] First when the priest did for you and you just went in and they did it for you and an animal died in your place
[00:38:52] You didn't do it. They've done for you sound familiar
[00:38:56] The second one you had to go wash yourself
[00:39:00] There's two cleanseings in the New Testament as well. Show them to you right here
[00:39:04] First John 1 7 through 9, but if we walk in the light as he is in the light
[00:39:09] We have fellowship one with another in the blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanses us from all sin
[00:39:13] We say we have no sin we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us if we confess our sins
[00:39:19] He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness
[00:39:24] That is the blood cleansing of our sins by Jesus by what he did
[00:39:30] We don't do anything. We asked for this. We receive this
[00:39:34] All right, but there's a second cleansing second Corinthians 7 1 he's talking to Christians
[00:39:41] And he says having therefore these promises dearly beloved people that's already been saved through the blood of Jesus
[00:39:48] He says having therefore these promises dearly beloved. Let us cleanse ourselves
[00:39:54] From all filthiness of the flesh and spirit
[00:39:57] Perfecting holiness in the fear of God
[00:40:00] Let us cleanse ourselves from what not just sin Jesus cleanses us from sin
[00:40:06] We cleanse ourselves from unclean spirits because he's given us the authority to bind the demons and to cast them out
[00:40:14] We do it. He doesn't do it for us. This is why people stay all bound up
[00:40:20] Let me show you we'll give you a little illustration before we quit here. It's real simple
[00:40:24] All right, I'm gonna take this little napkin here
[00:40:31] So let's say this my hand here is your heart. All right, and let's say you go commit the sin of adultery
[00:40:41] You open a door by that sin
[00:40:44] We're gonna talk about open doorways after lunch
[00:40:46] You open a door by committing adultery or fornication or homosexual whatever sexual sin occult sin
[00:40:52] But you open a door into your heart your spirit your life and the sin goes in
[00:40:58] Right and everybody knows that right you open the door the sin goes in. That's what you have to confess and get cleansed of
[00:41:06] But what everybody forgets is what goes right behind this sin of adultery or demon spirits of Hortons and lusts and
[00:41:12] Adultery and they go in and they dwell there because you gave place to the devil so they go in and they hang out there
[00:41:19] So this is how people walk around
[00:41:20] They got the sin of adultery. They got the demons of Hortons and lust and adultery
[00:41:26] So you get saved or maybe you're a Christian and you were finally repent of your adult
[00:41:30] You ask God to forgive you so you confess Lord, please forgive me
[00:41:34] I know you shed your blood for my sins and I just ask you to forgive me for my adultery. I repent
[00:41:38] I'm not doing any more. I'm gonna walk with you. The Bible says we confess our sins
[00:41:43] We repent he is faithful and just that cleanse us from the unrighteousness the sin sin goes away
[00:41:50] But this is how Christians continue to walk around doors open
[00:41:54] demons still here
[00:41:56] Alright
[00:41:57] Deliverance is simply this you say Lord. I know I committed the sin of adultery and I know you've forgiven me of that
[00:42:03] That's not the sin. I'm dealing with sin and demons are two different thing, but I need to deal with this because
[00:42:11] How many of you have been walking as a Christian yet?
[00:42:13] You just feel like you're always if you got in the wrong place at the wrong time you commit adultery like that
[00:42:18] Don't raise your hand because I already know the truth
[00:42:23] But the way you get rid of this is you say Lord. I know my sins forgiven, but in Jesus name
[00:42:33] say the person was
[00:42:35] Jim Bob
[00:42:36] Well, I had I had an adulterous affair with Jim Bob and I've just bind the demons of Hortons and lust and adultery
[00:42:43] Perversion that came in through this sin. I bind them. I break their power
[00:42:48] I tear down their strongholds and I command these spirits of Hortons and lust and adultery to go from me in Jesus name
[00:42:54] You cast the demons out and you say Jesus. I ask you to close the doorway. I
[00:42:59] Because according to Revelation 3 7 you're the one that
[00:43:02] Shuts the door that no man can open and opens the doors that no man can shut this door
[00:43:07] seal up that broken place in the hedge again, and
[00:43:12] Then if there's been any damage done, then you say Lord I pray for healing
[00:43:16] I pray for healing and that's where he said he came to heal the broken hearted
[00:43:23] So sometimes we the things we do cause wounds in us and other people and we need to heal him. So
[00:43:31] That's the end of this session. I hope you learned something, but can a Christian have a demon? Yes, they can I've been
[00:43:37] I've seen it for 34 years
[00:43:41] Loaded with them does that mean you're totally possessed and need to be in a mental institution. No
[00:43:48] 99.9% of people aren't that far off the folks, you know, what's gonna happen in this world
[00:43:53] This world's getting more and more dark and demonic and crazy
[00:43:56] You need to be a free people. I cleaned out people all of you
[00:44:03] You hear me every I know there's some people in anything. Well, that's everybody else. It's not me
[00:44:08] I got news for you. Isaiah 42 says all of you are snared in holes and in prison houses. All of us have
[00:44:16] Like I said, there's no holy shining one only Jesus
[00:44:20] We've all sinned we all sinned before we had things done to us
[00:44:27] So the doors have been open. So I just say we're gonna say the blessing and eat lunch and
[00:44:33] Then my wife I guess you need to give instructions. All right, Lord, we just thank you for this time
[00:44:39] We thank you for your word. We thank you for the truth
[00:44:41] I pray that everyone here Lord will begin that process Lord of not only dealing with their sins
[00:44:47] But dealing with the unclean spirits that came in because of those sins and we thank you
[00:44:52] You've given us the power and authority to do it in the mighty name of Jesus
[00:44:55] And Lord, I ask you right now to bless this food in this time of fellowship that we have
[00:45:00] in Jesus name
