[00:05:29] All right, First Peter chapter five,
[00:05:32] that's where we're going to,
[00:05:32] we got a lot to cover here.
[00:05:34] I've been not sure,
[00:05:37] gotten into a deep little rabbit hole yesterday,
[00:05:41] back on the CIA website for a while.
[00:05:44] I guess they're like, he's back again,
[00:05:48] digging into some FOIA documents on some things.
[00:05:51] But I don't know how much that will get into,
[00:05:53] but last week I talked about discerning of spirits
[00:06:00] and discerning wolves in sheep's clothing, infiltrators.
[00:06:06] That is an important thing.
[00:06:08] Again, we sing in that song at the end,
[00:06:10] Holy Spirit lead me, we need discernment
[00:06:12] because everybody that says they're a Christian's not.
[00:06:15] Jesus warned us there would be wolves in sheep's clothing.
[00:06:18] We were told by the apostle Paul
[00:06:20] that there would be false apostles,
[00:06:22] deceitful workers who would transform themselves
[00:06:25] into the apostles of Christ,
[00:06:27] and that they would be like the ministers of righteousness,
[00:06:31] but not exactly,
[00:06:33] and their end would be according to their works.
[00:06:37] And I guess if I had to title this today,
[00:06:39] I'm gonna title this Fighting Witchcraft.
[00:06:46] But it's really fighting the devil.
[00:06:48] But I wanna read this to you.
[00:06:50] We're gonna look through 1 Peter 5 today,
[00:06:55] and starting at verse one.
[00:06:58] He said, the elders which are among you I exhort,
[00:07:01] who am also an elder,
[00:07:03] and a witness of the sufferings of Christ,
[00:07:05] and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed,
[00:07:09] feed the flock of God which is among you,
[00:07:11] taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint,
[00:07:14] but willingly, not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind,
[00:07:18] neither as being lords over God's heritage,
[00:07:20] but being examples to the flock.
[00:07:22] And when the chief shepherd shall appear,
[00:07:25] ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
[00:07:28] Likewise ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder,
[00:07:32] yea all of you be subject one to another,
[00:07:34] and be clothed with humility,
[00:07:36] for God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble.
[00:07:40] Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God
[00:07:43] that he may exalt you in due time.
[00:07:46] Casting all your care upon him, for he careth for you.
[00:07:50] Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil
[00:07:55] is as a roaring lying walketh about,
[00:07:57] seeking whom he may devour.
[00:07:59] Whom resist, somebody say resist.
[00:08:03] Means to fight against.
[00:08:05] Somebody say fight against.
[00:08:08] Whom resist, speaking of Satan,
[00:08:10] resist him, fight against him,
[00:08:12] oppose him steadfast in the faith,
[00:08:15] knowing that the same afflictions
[00:08:17] are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
[00:08:20] But the God of all grace,
[00:08:21] who has called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus,
[00:08:24] after that you have suffered a while,
[00:08:26] make you perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
[00:08:31] Now, as I read this,
[00:08:33] there are principles in the kingdom of God
[00:08:37] that if you're going to overcome the devil,
[00:08:39] you gotta understand these principles, all right?
[00:08:43] And how I'm gonna talk,
[00:08:44] I'm gonna talk to you how to oppose
[00:08:45] and how to fight him today,
[00:08:47] but you have to have some things in order.
[00:08:50] First, let's put up James four, verse seven and eight.
[00:08:54] I want you to look that up.
[00:08:56] You can turn to it.
[00:08:57] Go ahead, James four, seven and eight.
[00:08:59] There's conditions here,
[00:09:00] but just hold your spot on first Peter five.
[00:09:02] We're gonna come back to that, all right?
[00:09:08] Because the fight is real, amen?
[00:09:12] Now, Paul said it's a good fight.
[00:09:14] Now, what's a good fight?
[00:09:16] A good fight's a fight you win, not when you lose.
[00:09:19] I've had some fights in my life, real fights,
[00:09:23] and it was more, I'd say it was better to win.
[00:09:28] I fought five guys one night, I lost.
[00:09:33] That was unpleasant, okay?
[00:09:38] A visit to the emergency room that evening,
[00:09:41] but two of them went with me.
[00:09:42] So a good fight is a fight you win.
[00:09:48] But hear me what I'm gonna tell you right now.
[00:09:51] If you don't know how to fight
[00:09:53] and if you become passive in this spiritual war
[00:09:57] that we're in with Satan, you will lose.
[00:10:01] Just because you're a born again Christian
[00:10:03] does not mean you automatically overcome the devil.
[00:10:06] You have to actively fight and resist
[00:10:10] and you have to know how to do it.
[00:10:12] This is why the Bible says in Second Corinthians chapter two
[00:10:16] is say we're not ignorant to his devices.
[00:10:19] Hosea 4-6, what?
[00:10:21] My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge.
[00:10:24] So it's really up to us to learn how to fight, all right?
[00:10:29] Now, here's what these principles I'm gonna give you first
[00:10:33] before I get into some things about how you resist.
[00:10:37] It says submit yourselves therefore to God,
[00:10:40] resist the devil and he will flee from you.
[00:10:43] Now, let's pause right here for a second.
[00:10:47] If you don't have the submit yourselves therefore to God
[00:10:50] first, you will not be able to resist the devil.
[00:10:54] You might try, but if you're not truly submitted to God,
[00:10:58] meaning you're submitted to obey his word
[00:11:02] and you're submitted to the principles of his word
[00:11:05] and you are truly trying to walk with him
[00:11:08] according to his word, according to the scriptures,
[00:11:13] you can just forget what I'm saying
[00:11:15] because if you go after the devil
[00:11:18] and you're not truly submitted to God
[00:11:20] and obedient Christian, he's going to whip your tail.
[00:11:24] He's going to tear you apart.
[00:11:26] This is not a game.
[00:11:28] We don't play with, you know, it's like little children
[00:11:30] playing with a gun or a sword or a knife.
[00:11:33] We just, you don't play with it.
[00:11:35] You learn to do what is right
[00:11:38] and then you can be trusted, right?
[00:11:41] Now submitting to God, then he says, resist the devil.
[00:11:45] Again, here's that resist and he will flee from you.
[00:11:49] That means to, again, fight against, to oppose.
[00:11:54] It's something you have to do.
[00:11:56] And see, this has been the big error
[00:11:58] in the body of Christ for decades.
[00:12:00] They have taught basically once you get saved
[00:12:03] that the devil can't touch you.
[00:12:05] I remember the old Pentecostals,
[00:12:07] can't cross the bloodline.
[00:12:09] And I'm like, they're getting beat to death.
[00:12:11] That all sounds fine and dandy.
[00:12:14] You don't get to sit there and do nothing.
[00:12:16] Just because you're a Christian, you're born again,
[00:12:19] yes, the blood of Jesus has washed your sins away.
[00:12:22] And yes, there is a degree of protection,
[00:12:24] but there is a war that we're in
[00:12:27] and passivity will not win.
[00:12:31] I tell people all the time,
[00:12:32] if you get in the ring with the devil
[00:12:35] and you don't put your guard up,
[00:12:37] you don't put your armor on
[00:12:38] and you don't start throwing some fists,
[00:12:40] you're gonna lose, all right?
[00:12:44] And what I've found out, I don't care
[00:12:47] how long you've been doing this.
[00:12:50] The fight never quits.
[00:12:52] I'm 37 years in.
[00:12:55] It hadn't slowed down at all, right?
[00:12:58] He wants to knock you down and to knock you out.
[00:13:01] Now look at the next verse right after this.
[00:13:03] He says, draw a night of God
[00:13:07] and he will draw a night to you,
[00:13:09] cleanse your hands, you sinners,
[00:13:11] purify your hearts, you double-minded.
[00:13:14] So he's telling you again, here's the principle.
[00:13:17] If you're not a person who really wants to draw
[00:13:21] and come near to God and purify your heart
[00:13:23] and be a pure, again, holy Christian,
[00:13:26] he's re-emphasizing this,
[00:13:28] you're not gonna win this war.
[00:13:32] You're not gonna win it.
[00:13:34] If you constantly wanna feed yourself
[00:13:37] with the things of the world,
[00:13:39] then that's what you're gonna be
[00:13:40] and you're just gonna be beat up.
[00:13:43] I tell people, people contact us all the time
[00:13:46] about deliverance.
[00:13:47] I tell people all the time,
[00:13:49] casting demons out of people's easy.
[00:13:51] That's easy.
[00:13:53] Jesus said in my name, you will cast out demons.
[00:13:57] Casting demons out of somebody,
[00:13:59] getting somebody to truly repent,
[00:14:01] live for Jesus and learn how to fight
[00:14:04] so they can stay delivered
[00:14:06] is to me the biggest, it's 90% of it.
[00:14:10] Then if we can get that in you,
[00:14:12] how to fight and how to stand and how to resist,
[00:14:16] then you can go through deliverance and you can stay free.
[00:14:22] But if I take you through deliverance prematurely
[00:14:24] and you're not a fighter,
[00:14:26] guess what's gonna happen to you?
[00:14:29] You're gonna get whipped
[00:14:30] and then the Bible says seven more,
[00:14:32] you're gonna get seven times more
[00:14:34] the demons you had before
[00:14:36] and you're gonna end up worse.
[00:14:38] So this is why I don't jump into deliverance
[00:14:40] with a lot of people real quick
[00:14:42] because I wanna make sure
[00:14:44] that they're walking with Jesus
[00:14:46] and they're on fire for God
[00:14:47] and they know how to fight.
[00:14:49] You gotta have the basics
[00:14:50] of how to do this spiritual warfare.
[00:14:53] Now, let's go back to 1 Peter chapter five.
[00:14:58] Again, some of these principles, submit to God.
[00:15:03] Draw night of God by cleansing your hands
[00:15:06] and your heart by repenting of your sin,
[00:15:08] not living in it, all right?
[00:15:13] But here's some other principles
[00:15:14] and this is something I'm gonna tell you right now
[00:15:16] if you don't get ahold of,
[00:15:18] I know it's contrary to the American way
[00:15:22] because we're a bunch of rebels,
[00:15:26] but it says here,
[00:15:30] he's talking about him being an elder
[00:15:32] and he says likewise ye younger, verse five,
[00:15:34] submit yourselves unto the elder.
[00:15:37] Yea, all of you be subject one to another,
[00:15:38] be clothed with humility for God resists the proud
[00:15:42] but gives grace to the humble
[00:15:44] and then he says humble yourselves therefore
[00:15:46] unto the mighty hand of God
[00:15:47] that he may exalt you in due time.
[00:15:50] This principle is probably one of the areas
[00:15:54] that gets most people in trouble.
[00:15:57] It's because they don't listen to elders.
[00:16:02] They don't take heed to correction,
[00:16:06] to counsel, to advice from people
[00:16:08] who have walked with the Lord for a long time.
[00:16:12] And I'm gonna tell you right now,
[00:16:13] if you don't have a heart to submit to an elder
[00:16:17] and to, when you've gotta make a big decision or whatever,
[00:16:21] yes you pray, yes you seek God,
[00:16:24] but you should also seek godly, wise counsel
[00:16:28] from people who have been walking with Jesus
[00:16:31] for a long, who have a proven life.
[00:16:33] I mean we don't just seek counsel from anybody.
[00:16:35] Trust me, if you wanna do something bad enough,
[00:16:38] you can find people who will tell you
[00:16:40] yeah, they'll agree with you.
[00:16:42] Who you should listen to are the people who say hmm,
[00:16:44] maybe you oughta slow down.
[00:16:48] Maybe this is not right.
[00:16:50] This is what blows my mind
[00:16:53] is that this is in the Bible.
[00:16:55] In fact, let's go to Hebrews chapter 13.
[00:17:01] Hebrews 13 verse seven.
[00:17:06] This is why in our school of ministry,
[00:17:10] you have to take a class on the book
[00:17:12] Spiritual Authority by Watch My Knee.
[00:17:16] Because again, I love it, you know,
[00:17:20] the Asians have this down.
[00:17:23] You see it in the Asian culture.
[00:17:25] There's more of a respect for elders.
[00:17:27] You saw this in the Middle Eastern culture.
[00:17:31] There was more of a respect for elders than we have today.
[00:17:33] In America, no, the young people think they know everything.
[00:17:36] And I'm talking about the young Christians.
[00:17:38] They think they know everything.
[00:17:39] They think they got everything handled.
[00:17:42] And I just watch them just blow through things
[00:17:46] and just not listen to anybody.
[00:17:49] And like I'm watching one young man now,
[00:17:51] he's headed for pain and destruction
[00:17:54] because he wouldn't listen to multiple counselors
[00:17:58] who came to him and said you're making a mistake
[00:18:00] about who you're about to marry.
[00:18:02] About to marry a woman full of witchcraft.
[00:18:07] But won't listen.
[00:18:11] But what does it say here?
[00:18:12] It says, remember them which have the rule over you
[00:18:15] who have spoken unto you the word of God
[00:18:16] whose faith follow considering the end of their conversation.
[00:18:19] What?
[00:18:21] Who have the rule over you?
[00:18:22] Go to verse 17.
[00:18:24] Again, I'm gonna get hate mail because of this.
[00:18:29] Because we're a bunch of rebels in America.
[00:18:34] What does it say here?
[00:18:35] Obey them that have the rule over you
[00:18:37] and submit yourselves for they watch for your souls
[00:18:41] as they that must give an account
[00:18:43] that they may do it with joy and not with grief
[00:18:46] for that is unprofitable for you.
[00:18:49] Now granted, there have been ministries in the past
[00:18:52] that got into control of people's lives and manipulation
[00:18:56] and that kind of thing.
[00:18:57] And that's not what I'm talking about.
[00:18:59] But again, I marvel when people want counsel
[00:19:06] or especially they want me to marry them.
[00:19:09] And we start doing some premarital counseling
[00:19:12] and boy, it just, things get revealed.
[00:19:17] That's why I don't marry people
[00:19:19] without premarital counseling.
[00:19:21] I've done it in the past and it's always been a mistake.
[00:19:25] But you gotta find out what's really going on.
[00:19:28] And just say, we just had a brother
[00:19:31] that because of premarital counseling
[00:19:33] got saved from a terrible mistake
[00:19:37] that was about to be made.
[00:19:40] But he listened to his elders.
[00:19:43] He listened to counsel and truth and it got revealed.
[00:19:48] Now, again, this is a principle
[00:19:51] that if you don't get down in you,
[00:19:56] then the devil will be able to mess with your life.
[00:20:00] He will have an open door
[00:20:02] because remember, I love what Watchmanee says about this
[00:20:06] when he talks about spiritual authority
[00:20:08] and submitting to elders and listening.
[00:20:11] He says that, you know, you have to understand
[00:20:14] that Satan's fall was not because he was a drunkard
[00:20:19] or a sexual deviant and with any of those things,
[00:20:25] he failed because what?
[00:20:27] He rebelled against God's authority.
[00:20:29] He didn't wanna be under God's rule anymore.
[00:20:33] He wanted to do things his own way.
[00:20:35] And this is what he's talking about.
[00:20:37] Watchmanee says in his book, Spiritual Authority,
[00:20:39] you can walk with Jesus in doctrine.
[00:20:42] You can be correct doctrinally,
[00:20:44] but be walking with Satan in principle
[00:20:46] if you're rebelling against elders and authority.
[00:20:51] Now, what's interesting, and I heard,
[00:20:53] I think it was one of my old pastors way back in the day,
[00:20:57] when he's talking about this, he said,
[00:21:00] when it says humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God.
[00:21:03] And he said, what he believed that to be
[00:21:06] in the context of this,
[00:21:07] when he's talking about submitting to elders here,
[00:21:09] he said that the hand of God,
[00:21:11] apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers,
[00:21:16] that God has put these in the church
[00:21:20] for the equipping of the saints, right?
[00:21:23] Ephesians chapter four, there's a reason.
[00:21:25] And this is a reason why you need to find,
[00:21:27] if you're a Christian, if you're a born again Christian,
[00:21:30] you need to find a true pastor, a true prophet,
[00:21:35] true apostle, true ministers, a true church,
[00:21:40] even this was a small group of people meeting in a house.
[00:21:43] It doesn't matter.
[00:21:44] You need to find elders.
[00:21:48] And I remember when I was a young man,
[00:21:50] I understood this principle and it was hard to find.
[00:21:53] Sometimes it's hard to find people that you know you can
[00:21:57] trust, but I found some people.
[00:22:00] I found some people that had been in the ministry
[00:22:02] for 40, 50 years.
[00:22:05] And I submitted to them and I learned from them.
[00:22:09] And when I had a big decision, yes, I prayed and fasted
[00:22:12] over it, but I would go get counseled
[00:22:14] because what does the Bible say?
[00:22:15] Proverbs 24, in the multitude of counselors,
[00:22:18] there is safety and with good advice, you make war.
[00:22:24] In fact, put that one up so they can see it.
[00:22:30] I can't remember exactly what, I think it's verse three
[00:22:32] or somewhere in that area, but Proverbs 24,
[00:22:35] I don't know why my voice is, I've been yelling
[00:22:38] at anybody or anything, I don't know what's going on.
[00:22:42] Maybe it's because I cut grass yesterday,
[00:22:44] I guess I got something blooming that's bothering me,
[00:22:47] I guess, I don't know.
[00:22:50] Y'all got it yet?
[00:22:52] Multitude of counselors, there is safety,
[00:22:54] with good advice, make your war.
[00:22:59] Now I'm not gonna keep harping on this,
[00:23:02] but this is something that humility,
[00:23:06] humility means that you don't think you got it all together.
[00:23:15] And you go, you know what, I need the body of Christ.
[00:23:17] I need the elders, I need the fivefold ministry.
[00:23:21] I need my brothers and sisters
[00:23:23] and I need to bounce things off of people.
[00:23:27] I need to ask questions, I need to say pray for me.
[00:23:32] You know, this idea I got it all together is,
[00:23:36] you know, if you get that attitude, that's what pride is.
[00:23:41] I'm all the time asking people to pray for me.
[00:23:44] I'm all the time asking people,
[00:23:46] what do you think about this?
[00:23:49] You know, it's, I guess you get a little bit older
[00:23:53] and you find out it's easy to make mistakes
[00:23:58] if you don't check the boxes, right?
[00:24:04] Now let's go to the other principle right here, verse seven.
[00:24:07] Y'all saw that by wise counsel,
[00:24:09] make thy award and the multitude of counselors, there's safety.
[00:24:13] Was that Proverbs 24, six?
[00:24:16] Am I seeing that correctly?
[00:24:20] But the next thing he says,
[00:24:21] is casting all your care upon him, for he careth for you.
[00:24:26] That means all your fears, your anxieties,
[00:24:32] you can't be a worry ward.
[00:24:35] When I used to, I remember I used to go to the church
[00:24:38] on the rock in Rockwall, Texas, when I lived out in Texas,
[00:24:41] Dr. Larry Lee, he was an anointed teacher.
[00:24:44] And one of these said, he said the 11th commandment
[00:24:47] of church on the rock was thou shalt not sweat it, right?
[00:24:51] Worry is a sin.
[00:24:54] Worry, you're supposed to cast these cares upon the Lord
[00:24:59] and trust him with it.
[00:25:01] This is another area that if you constantly allow
[00:25:04] fear, anxiety, and these things to torment you,
[00:25:07] and you don't cast them upon the Lord and trust him,
[00:25:09] you're going to end up in the pit, okay?
[00:25:15] So these are some principles leading up to the verse,
[00:25:18] be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil
[00:25:25] is as a roaring lion walketh about
[00:25:27] seeking whom he may devour.
[00:25:29] Guess what that's seeking there?
[00:25:30] It's a present tense Greek verb, continuously,
[00:25:35] ongoing and in the present, he's constantly seeking
[00:25:38] how he can vary, and he says be sober and be vigilant.
[00:25:41] Now let me just go ahead, what does it mean to be sober?
[00:25:45] It means you're not high on marijuana every day,
[00:25:48] or every other day, or alcohol.
[00:25:52] You understand what I'm saying?
[00:25:56] You don't live a life on, I know there's a lot of,
[00:25:59] there's a lot of Christians out there
[00:26:00] smoke marijuana regularly, think it's okay.
[00:26:02] God made it, it's a plant.
[00:26:05] Well, let me tell you, back in the day,
[00:26:07] I smoked it too, and being high is not being sober.
[00:26:14] And then we got a lot of sipping saints,
[00:26:18] and not so just sipping.
[00:26:22] So I told y'all, I heard about this, David Crowder,
[00:26:26] the popular musician, there at the Passion Church
[00:26:30] over in Atlanta with, what's his name, Luke Giglio,
[00:26:35] and great, talented musician, so-called Christian,
[00:26:40] find out that he loves to drink whiskey,
[00:26:43] that him and his buddies after prayer meetings
[00:26:46] and worship services go to a bar and clean them out.
[00:26:52] Let me just go and tell you right now,
[00:26:55] you drink two or three shots of whiskey,
[00:26:59] and you're starting to get lit up, if you know what I mean.
[00:27:06] I mean, we're not talking about just drinking a beer,
[00:27:08] we're talking about pounding liquor.
[00:27:11] And I'm just like, these are a bunch of Christians,
[00:27:14] and the Passion Conference over,
[00:27:15] there's one of the biggest conferences in America
[00:27:18] when they have it every year.
[00:27:20] And who's up there leading worship most times?
[00:27:23] David Crowder.
[00:27:26] I was blown away, he just talks about this freely.
[00:27:30] You're like, what Bible are you reading?
[00:27:36] Be sober means, guess what?
[00:27:38] Be sober.
[00:27:42] If you're using marijuana all the time,
[00:27:44] and getting drunk with alcohol,

[00:27:47] You will not be able to resist the devil.
[00:27:51] And trust me, I remember the days
[00:27:53] of when I would start getting drunk.
[00:27:54] Let me tell you what happens when you start getting drunk,
[00:27:57] especially with liquor.
[00:27:59] You start getting drunk.
[00:28:00] Immediately, your resistance to things
[00:28:03] that you would never do, you will do.
[00:28:07] Everything that I said I wouldn't do
[00:28:09] that I ended up doing was because I was drunk,
[00:28:13] or high, or both.
[00:28:18] I remember saying I would never do drugs,
[00:28:21] but I would drink, and then I ended up what?
[00:28:23] Doing drugs.
[00:28:28] But here's the thing, let me just go
[00:28:29] and tell you this right now.
[00:28:30] You start getting drunk, especially guys,
[00:28:34] I don't know about women.
[00:28:36] I know there's a song that says
[00:28:37] tequila makes her clothes fall off.
[00:28:41] So I mean, maybe it affects women the same way,
[00:28:43] but you start getting drunk,
[00:28:46] and that sexual lust goes,
[00:28:49] it can go from 10 to 100 real quick.
[00:28:56] So this is why it says be sober.
[00:28:59] And then it says be vigilant.
[00:29:02] That means you can't be like checked out.
[00:29:08] You gotta be focused on what's going on.
[00:29:11] And this is, you're gonna understand
[00:29:13] as I get into this a little further,
[00:29:14] because this is just the introduction, all right?
[00:29:18] But you have to pay attention.
[00:29:22] It's not something that you can just go,
[00:29:25] ah, la dee da dee da, I don't care,
[00:29:28] because the war is constantly coming at you,
[00:29:31] and especially witchcraft.
[00:29:34] And this is something that a lot of Christians
[00:29:36] don't understand, and they think that
[00:29:39] they're just immune to the effects of it.
[00:29:43] But this is where, you know, we have two things going on.
[00:29:46] We have the normal demonic, satanic attacks
[00:29:50] that will come against us.
[00:29:52] And then we have the people who worship Satan
[00:29:55] or follow Satan who begin to attack us, okay?
[00:30:01] And I'm gonna explain how they attack us.
[00:30:04] All right, there's really just a few ways.
[00:30:06] This is how witchcraft works.
[00:30:09] Now let's put up Proverbs 18, 21,
[00:30:15] because this is a principle that they use.
[00:30:23] And this is actually something Christians
[00:30:25] do to each other as well.
[00:30:29] It's the power of words.
[00:30:31] Really, witchcraft is simply, incantation spells
[00:30:34] are simply words spoken against you.
[00:30:38] And let me go in and tell you right now,
[00:30:40] words have life and power.
[00:30:45] They're not demons.
[00:30:47] Somebody say words are not demons.
[00:30:51] This is where we can,
[00:30:52] this is why you can bind the devil sometimes, right?
[00:30:58] And yet your oppression and the attack doesn't stop,
[00:31:02] because there are words coming at you.
[00:31:05] Remember Jesus said the words that I speak unto you,
[00:31:07] they are spirit and they are life.
[00:31:09] All words have spiritual force behind them.
[00:31:15] This is why this is scripture says,
[00:31:16] death and life are in the power of the tongue
[00:31:18] and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
[00:31:20] Death and life's in the power of the tongue.
[00:31:23] Our enemies know this principle, okay?
[00:31:29] And they are constantly speaking against us.
[00:31:34] That is what a spell is, all right?
[00:31:37] We say, but it can affect a Christian.
[00:31:42] Oh really, really?
[00:31:45] Look at Psalm 55.
[00:31:48] David was always battling this.
[00:31:52] And I think Psalm 55 really bears it out here.
[00:31:58] I'm gonna turn here.
[00:32:05] See, I've been fighting witchcraft since day one.
[00:32:09] When I came back to Jesus,
[00:32:10] and actually really I was fighting it before,
[00:32:12] I didn't know how many Satanists were around me,
[00:32:15] even when I was a child.
[00:32:16] And the things that I went through as a child,
[00:32:19] it was all Satanism.
[00:32:25] Psalm 55, let's look at this.
[00:32:31] Verse one, David praised this.
[00:32:34] He says, give ear to my prayer, O God,
[00:32:36] and hide not thyself from my supplication.
[00:32:39] Attend unto me and hear me.
[00:32:40] I mourn in my complaint and make a noise.
[00:32:43] Why?
[00:32:44] Why is he mourning?
[00:32:46] Why is this battle going on with him?
[00:32:49] And he says, because of the voice of the enemy,
[00:32:53] because of the oppression of the wicked,
[00:32:57] for they cast iniquity upon me,
[00:33:00] and in wrath they hate me.
[00:33:04] You hear what they're saying?
[00:33:05] It's the voice, it's the words of the wicked
[00:33:07] are casting this upon him,
[00:33:10] and this is what he's feeling like.
[00:33:12] He says, my heart is sore pain within me,
[00:33:14] and the terrors of death are falling upon me.
[00:33:18] Fearfulness and trembling hath come upon me,
[00:33:20] and horror hath overwhelmed me.
[00:33:22] Oh, he said, and I said, oh,
[00:33:23] that I had wings like a dove,
[00:33:25] that I would fly away and be at rest.
[00:33:29] He said, I wanna escape this.
[00:33:31] And then he, I love the verse nine,
[00:33:32] he says, destroy, O Lord, and divide their what?
[00:33:36] Tongues.
[00:33:38] For I have seen violence and strife in the city.
[00:33:41] So he's saying it's coming from what?
[00:33:44] Their tongues.
[00:33:46] It will skip on down a little bit,
[00:33:48] but he says this about them.
[00:33:50] Verse 21, he says, the words of his mouth
[00:33:54] were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart.
[00:33:56] His words were softer than oil,
[00:33:59] yet they were drawn swords.
[00:34:02] Do you see that?
[00:34:04] And there's many places,
[00:34:05] David talks about this oppression,
[00:34:07] this oppression he was going through,
[00:34:10] and this attack, sometimes it's depression,
[00:34:14] sometimes it's fear, sometimes it's,
[00:34:17] sometimes it even gets into physical,
[00:34:21] but he's saying it's because of the words of the wicked
[00:34:26] that they're casting upon me.
[00:34:30] So you say, Pastor Dean, how do you deal with this?
[00:34:32] How do you deal with words versus demons?
[00:34:36] Well, first of all, let's deal with,
[00:34:38] let's say with demons, and I'll get to this in a minute,
[00:34:40] but with demons, we bind them in Jesus' name.
[00:34:43] We rebuke them, we bind them,
[00:34:45] and we command them to stop their maneuvers
[00:34:47] against us in Jesus' name.
[00:34:49] And I'll cover those scriptures in a minute.
[00:34:51] But with words, we have to say out loud,
[00:34:55] I break their curses and their words off of me.
[00:35:00] Let's go to, what is it, is it Isaiah 54, I believe.
[00:35:23] Oh goodness, why am I forgetting this verse?
[00:35:31] Yes, verse 17, I was right.
[00:35:34] Isaiah 54, 17.
[00:35:37] No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper,
[00:35:39] and every what?
[00:35:41] Tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment.
[00:35:44] God will deal with, you shall condemn.
[00:35:54] The word condemn is a bad word in the Hebrew.
[00:36:00] It means that you put the judgment upon it,
[00:36:04] meaning you speak against it, you reverse it.
[00:36:08] Now, we don't curse the enemy.
[00:36:09] That's not what I'm talking about.
[00:36:11] We don't curse people.
[00:36:12] We bless those that curse us, right?
[00:36:15] But we have to, we have to literally,
[00:36:17] we have to condemn, come against the words,
[00:36:24] the tongues that rise against us.
[00:36:27] This is what witchcraft is.
[00:36:31] I'll give you an example.
[00:36:32] One time, and I've shared this
[00:36:34] in many of my sermons over the years,
[00:36:37] but this was unique.
[00:36:38] I was pastored in the church in Montgomery, Alabama,
[00:36:40] and I came under this heavy oppression.
[00:36:43] Now, this was a time in my life too
[00:36:45] where I was fasting a lot.
[00:36:47] I was praying a lot.
[00:36:48] I was studying a lot.
[00:36:49] I mean, I was just living for Jesus.
[00:36:50] I wasn't in sin.
[00:36:52] I wasn't compromising.
[00:36:54] I wasn't walking in lukewarmness or laziness.
[00:36:58] And, but this oppression came in.
[00:37:00] I mean, it was heavy.
[00:37:01] It was thick.
[00:37:02] It was dark, right?
[00:37:04] I mean, I just, it was almost like I could be outside
[00:37:07] in a bright, sunny day.
[00:37:08] And yet I seemed like I was walking in a cloud of darkness
[00:37:11] and it just surrounded me.
[00:37:12] And it was spiritually, mentally, emotionally,
[00:37:16] it was just stifling, all right?
[00:37:19] And I remember I started binding the demons
[00:37:21] and rebuking them.
[00:37:23] Didn't lift off of me.
[00:37:25] Fasted for a few days, right?
[00:37:28] Even started, even said I break the curses
[00:37:31] and spells being spoken against me.
[00:37:33] Didn't lift off of me.
[00:37:35] And I'm like, what is going on?
[00:37:37] And so finally just, I got exasperated
[00:37:40] and I was praying for a few days.
[00:37:41] And I mean, again, I can't tell you
[00:37:43] how heavy anybody been through.
[00:37:46] Some of these were just like darkness upon you, right?
[00:37:51] And I remember saying, I'd fasted about two or three days
[00:37:55] and I said, Lord, what is this?
[00:37:58] And finally I heard him speak to me and he said,
[00:38:01] 200 witches have agreed in prayer against you.
[00:38:06] Specifically gave me the number 200 witches,
[00:38:10] 200 Satanists are praying in agreement against you.
[00:38:17] Break the curses of these 200 witches is what he told me.
[00:38:21] And so I obeyed the Lord.
[00:38:23] I said in the name of Jesus,
[00:38:25] I break these curses of these 200 witches in Jesus name.
[00:38:29] Immediately, the heaviness, that spiritual heaviness
[00:38:34] and darkness lifted off of me.
[00:38:36] So sometimes you need information.
[00:38:38] You need to know what's going on, okay?
[00:38:42] So you got to get information from who?
[00:38:45] Holy spirit.
[00:38:47] How you gonna get that information?
[00:38:49] Prayer and fasting, right?
[00:38:53] And I found out this and you can write this down.
[00:38:55] This is just my experience over the years
[00:38:58] is that the more specific you can be
[00:39:01] at praying against something,
[00:39:03] like if you know a person is a witch, say their name.
[00:39:06] I bind the demons coming from Susie Q over here.
[00:39:11] I bind the demons and I break her curses,
[00:39:15] spells and incantations off of me.
[00:39:18] You have to say this.
[00:39:20] And this is part of the war we fight.
[00:39:23] Now, sometimes I know, sometimes you're gonna know,
[00:39:25] sometimes you don't know, right?
[00:39:28] But you have to do this.
[00:39:29] There are tongues you have to do.
[00:39:32] Now, let's go back to binding demons
[00:39:34] because there's a lot of,
[00:39:36] we haven't had somebody comment on,
[00:39:38] I think it was last week or the week before,
[00:39:41] comment on the Facebook as the sermon was going on
[00:39:44] that it's not biblical to bind demons.
[00:39:46] Oh Lord, have mercy.
[00:39:50] Now, I don't know where they got that,
[00:39:51] but I can tell you for a fact that I know
[00:39:55] that my brother and two of my friends
[00:39:57] that I led to Jesus back in the day,
[00:40:00] went to the assembly of God Bible College down in Florida,
[00:40:04] down in Lakeland, Florida, what is it called?
[00:40:07] Southeastern seminary or something like that.
[00:40:11] Well, they told me because they would come back
[00:40:13] on breaks and stuff.
[00:40:15] And the Lord told me, I wasn't going.
[00:40:16] I remember when the Lord, I would say,
[00:40:18] Lord, let me go to Bible College.
[00:40:20] He would say, no.
[00:40:22] And I remember when they came back,
[00:40:24] so I would mess with them.
[00:40:25] I'd say, what are y'all learning down there?
[00:40:28] And I remember all of them saying this to me.
[00:40:30] They said, we're learning how not to be.
[00:40:33] And then they told me that their professors
[00:40:36] were actually teaching that it was not biblical
[00:40:39] to bind demons.
[00:40:42] And I'm like, what are you talking about?
[00:40:46] Now, their whole stance was that Matthew 18,
[00:40:50] when it talks about Jesus says you have,
[00:40:52] I've given you the power and ability to bind and to loose,
[00:40:57] they said, oh, that's in the context of forgiveness.
[00:40:59] So all that has to do is forgiving those who have hurt you.
[00:41:03] True, that is true.
[00:41:06] But see what they do,
[00:41:07] and this is where all false teachings come from
[00:41:09] is that they ignore other passages, right?
[00:41:14] So let's go to Matthew chapter 16
[00:41:17] and look at the context of what Jesus said here.
[00:41:20] Go to verse 13.
[00:41:24] Hallelujah.
[00:41:28] I don't know if we're ever gonna go home today.
[00:41:36] That's right.
[00:41:37] Good thing, eat a hearty breakfast
[00:41:39] before you come to church, right?
[00:41:43] I guess I ought to turn there, shouldn't I?
[00:41:49] And these are things, again,
[00:41:51] these are things that I've taught before.
[00:41:52] I guess I'm getting a little more specific today
[00:41:55] about witchcraft.
[00:41:56] But here's the principle.
[00:41:58] This is Matthew chapter 16.
[00:42:00] We're going down to verse 13,
[00:42:01] and this is what he said.
[00:42:02] When Jesus came into the coast of Caesarea Philippi,
[00:42:05] he asked his disciples saying,
[00:42:06] who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?
[00:42:09] And they said, some say that thou art John the Baptist
[00:42:11] and some Elijah and others, Jeremiah,
[00:42:14] one of the prophets, and he saith unto them,
[00:42:15] but whom say ye that I am?
[00:42:17] And Simon Peter answered and said,
[00:42:19] thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
[00:42:21] And Jesus answered and said unto him,
[00:42:23] blessed art thou Simon, Barjona,
[00:42:26] for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee,
[00:42:29] but my Father which is in heaven,
[00:42:30] and I say also unto thee, thou art Peter,
[00:42:33] and upon this rock I will build my church,
[00:42:35] and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
[00:42:38] And I will give unto thee the keys
[00:42:40] of the kingdom of heaven, and whatsoever thou shall bind
[00:42:42] on earth shall be bound in the heaven
[00:42:44] of the spirit realm, whatever thou loose on earth
[00:42:46] shall be loosed, shall loose on earth
[00:42:49] shall be loosed in heaven.
[00:42:51] Then he charged his disciples that they should tell
[00:42:53] no man that he was Jesus the Christ.
[00:42:55] Now, what is the context of this?
[00:42:58] Is this talking about forgiveness
[00:43:00] when he talks about binding and loosing,
[00:43:01] or is he talking in the context of the gates of hell
[00:43:04] not prevailing against the church?
[00:43:07] So he's talking about the keys of the kingdom,
[00:43:09] binding and loosing, in context of spiritual warfare.
[00:43:13] Then we have Matthew 12, where Jesus taught it again
[00:43:17] in the context of spiritual warfare.
[00:43:19] Matthew chapter 12, go over there.
[00:43:21] Let's back up a little bit.
[00:43:23] Verse 22, he says, then was brought unto him
[00:43:28] one possessed with the devil, blind and dumb,
[00:43:31] and he healed him in so much that the blind and dumb
[00:43:34] both spake and saw, and all the people were amazed
[00:43:36] and said, is not this the son of David?
[00:43:38] But when the Pharisees heard it, they said,
[00:43:40] this fellow doth not cast out devils,
[00:43:42] but by Beals above, the prince of the devils.
[00:43:45] And Jesus knew their thoughts and said unto them,
[00:43:47] every kingdom divided against itself
[00:43:49] is brought to desolation, and every city or house
[00:43:52] divided against itself shall not stand.
[00:43:53] And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided
[00:43:56] against himself, how then shall his kingdom stand?
[00:43:59] And if I by Beals above cast out devils,
[00:44:01] by whom do your children cast them out?
[00:44:03] Therefore they shall be your judges.
[00:44:05] But if I cast out devils by the spirit of God,
[00:44:08] then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
[00:44:10] Or else, how can one enter into a strong man's house
[00:44:13] and spoil his goods, except he first bind a strong man,
[00:44:16] and then he will spoil his house?
[00:44:19] Do you see that?
[00:44:20] Jesus, in the context of casting out demons,
[00:44:23] dealing with the demonic, he said, you must, what?
[00:44:26] First, bind the strong man.
[00:44:29] There's only two times Jesus said, do something first.
[00:44:32] He said, seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness
[00:44:35] and all these things will be added unto you.
[00:44:36] And then he said, first, bind the strong man.
[00:44:39] So if he says, do this first,
[00:44:41] that means it's important, right?
[00:44:44] Can I tell you right now, binding demons is important.
[00:44:48] And let me explain, there's a difference.
[00:44:50] Binding a demon is not the same as casting a demon out,
[00:44:53] because we shouldn't go around casting demons
[00:44:55] out of unsaved people.
[00:44:57] That's a very rare situation that you'll ever run to.
[00:45:02] That's a whole other sermon on can Christians have demons?
[00:45:06] Yes, they can.
[00:45:07] Can a Christian, if a Christian can sin,
[00:45:09] a Christian can have a demon, right?
[00:45:12] Because that's what opens the door.
[00:45:13] But that's not what we're talking about today.
[00:45:16] But what?
[00:45:17] Here's what you do.
[00:45:19] Binding demons is a temporary suspension halt upon
[00:45:26] a spirit that's working.
[00:45:28] It could be working through a person,
[00:45:29] it could be working attacking you.
[00:45:34] It could be in a situation at work,
[00:45:37] it could be in a church.
[00:45:39] But if you know, you discern a spirit is working
[00:45:42] and you can't cast it out
[00:45:46] because the person's not ready for that,
[00:45:48] but you need that spirit to be halted and stopped
[00:45:51] in what it's doing,
[00:45:53] then you must say in Jesus name,
[00:45:55] I bind the demon spirit.
[00:45:57] Let's say for instance, that a person you're at work
[00:46:00] and there's a, you know, you're a married person
[00:46:02] and there's another person there trying to,
[00:46:05] with the spirits of lust and adultery,
[00:46:07] trying to lure you and tempt you into that.
[00:46:10] What you need to be doing every day when you get up
[00:46:12] or when you go to work
[00:46:14] or when you walk into the bathroom at work
[00:46:16] or whatever, when you're kind of apart from,
[00:46:18] is say in the name of Jesus,
[00:46:20] I bind the demon spirits of adultery and lust and hoardums
[00:46:24] and perversion in this person.
[00:46:26] I do not receive it.
[00:46:27] I command them to stop their maneuvers against me.
[00:46:30] I bind them in Jesus name
[00:46:32] and you will see them cease in those operations.
[00:46:38] Again, under the condition that you are submitted to God,
[00:46:44] somebody say, well, I did it and it didn't work.
[00:46:46] Well, maybe you're not where you need to be.
[00:46:51] You know what, we have a funny story about this.
[00:46:53] My wife, you know, taught my wife these principles
[00:46:57] and she's heard them so long.
[00:46:59] And then we had a situation where one of my family members
[00:47:05] who has issues, demonic issues,
[00:47:09] was came over into our property,
[00:47:14] cussed out some of my church members that aren't here today
[00:47:16] but they cussed them out.
[00:47:17] I mean, just cussing in front of the kids and everything.
[00:47:22] I'm out there trying to talk.
[00:47:23] I'm on the phone with somebody else
[00:47:25] and this woman is just running her mouth,
[00:47:29] just fighting, just nasty.
[00:47:32] It's just demon possession.
[00:47:36] So she's out in the yard and I'm out in the yard.
[00:47:39] I'm on the phone.
[00:47:42] There's other people, her family's out in the yard,
[00:47:44] you know, her children, it's all cousins,
[00:47:48] you know, it's family issues, right?
[00:47:51] I mean, this is a long time ago, but it's funny.
[00:47:54] But Nancy was up on the porch with our church members
[00:47:58] and she just finally just said,
[00:48:00] I bind the demons in her in Jesus' name.
[00:48:03] The moment she said that, her feet flew out from under her,
[00:48:08] she hit the ground on her butt.
[00:48:09] Nobody was even around her.
[00:48:11] Nobody was close to her.
[00:48:12] Or, you know, if I'd have been close to her,
[00:48:14] she'd accuse me of knocking her down,
[00:48:19] kind of like Greg Locke.
[00:48:25] But she, you know, she bound the demons,
[00:48:29] and her command was to shut up and go.
[00:48:32] She shut her mouth, got up, walked off our property
[00:48:36] and didn't come back for six months.
[00:48:38] And when she came back, the next time she was nice.
[00:48:42] And we remembered that we had to just, you know,
[00:48:44] you have to do this because it's kind of like you do it,
[00:48:47] it's a temporary suspension.
[00:48:49] And so you have to, we would have to remember,
[00:48:52] oh, we hadn't bound the demons in this person in a while,
[00:48:56] we need to bind them in Jesus' name, okay?
[00:48:59] And sure enough, I mean, over time,
[00:49:02] things got better and better and better.
[00:49:04] And so, you know, I mean, they're not perfect.
[00:49:06] She still, she hadn't been through deliverance,
[00:49:09] but we get along okay right now.
[00:49:12] And then when she, you know,
[00:49:12] when the demons start getting active,
[00:49:14] they start getting a little hyped up,
[00:49:16] we would remember,
[00:49:17] oh, we gotta bind the demons in her again, all right?
[00:49:20] This is, it's powerful.
[00:49:22] When my mom, I've shared it,
[00:49:24] when my mom came home that night,
[00:49:26] then cussing me and my brother out,
[00:49:27] and my stepdad pulls a gun on us,
[00:49:30] and everything else that went crazy that night.
[00:49:32] My brother, I was dealing with the stepdad
[00:49:35] pulling a gun on me.
[00:49:35] My brother was in the kitchen with my mom.
[00:49:37] She's screaming at him.
[00:49:39] They're drunk, you know, they've been out drinking.
[00:49:41] My brother just finally just looked at my mom,
[00:49:43] straightened her face,
[00:49:44] I bind you in Jesus' name.
[00:49:46] I bind the demons and you're gonna come in and shut up.
[00:49:49] Man, she shut up and went over and sat down at the table.
[00:49:52] She didn't even know what happened to her.
[00:49:55] And then my stepdad finally went in his,
[00:49:59] we finally got him in his bedroom,
[00:50:02] and he passed out.
[00:50:03] And we were able to talk to my mom about Jesus
[00:50:06] for the next couple of hours, calmly.
[00:50:10] And she sat there and had a conversation
[00:50:12] and listened to different worlds.
[00:50:14] But if we, if my brother had not bound the demons in her
[00:50:18] and commanded them to shut up,
[00:50:22] then we wouldn't have got anywhere with her that night.
[00:50:25] You understand?
[00:50:27] This is a powerful, powerful tool we've been given.
[00:50:30] I tell people all the time, it's like car keys.
[00:50:35] She said, I've given you the keys to the kingdom.
[00:50:38] If I give you the keys to my car and say,
[00:50:40] I do whatever you want with it, Doug.
[00:50:43] You can use it however you want.
[00:50:45] And you just put the keys in your pocket
[00:50:46] and never do anything.
[00:50:48] You don't benefit from the use of that vehicle,
[00:50:51] the power of that engine.
[00:50:53] You don't get anything out of it.
[00:50:55] Well, I got the keys of the kingdom in my pocket.
[00:50:59] Well, good for you.
[00:51:02] You can't get anywhere.
[00:51:05] And let me just make this clear.
[00:51:07] There's a bunch of people that are wrong about,
[00:51:10] we don't lose demons.
[00:51:11] There's actually teachers that have taught
[00:51:14] that you lose demons.
[00:51:16] No, we bind demons.
[00:51:18] Everybody say this with me.
[00:51:18] We bind demons.
[00:51:20] We lose people, okay?
[00:51:26] Another thing, just while we're talking about this,
[00:51:29] we don't command angels either.
[00:51:32] We don't lose angels.
[00:51:34] We don't command angels.
[00:51:36] Even Jesus didn't command angels.
[00:51:38] He said, I could ask my father to send them.
[00:51:43] There's a bunch of people teaching out there
[00:51:45] that we can command demons.

[01:02:31] there was an explosion of people talking about
[01:02:35] out of body experiences and how to do it.

[01:02:44] and they called it remote viewing sometimes,

[01:05:39] he was still living at home at my mom's house
[01:05:42] and I was visiting, I just come back from Arkansas
[01:05:46] and I had been here a while
[01:05:48] and Alan had gotten saved and on fire for God.
[01:05:52] And he was going to this,
[01:05:54] he'd been going to this particular church
[01:05:55] and this particular youth group
[01:05:57] for a long time before he got saved.
[01:05:59] I mean, it was just a bunch of heathen people going to,
[01:06:02] I mean, not one of them was living for Jesus
[01:06:04] in this youth group at this church.
[01:06:07] It was a dead, dead church, so bad.
[01:06:10] And anyway, I remember visiting this youth group
[01:06:15] and I remember thinking,
[01:06:17] well, then my brother began to have these conflicts,
[01:06:20] constant like battles with this so-called youth minister
[01:06:25] as a woman.
[01:06:27] And I don't know, just in the spirit,
[01:06:30] I began to suspect,
[01:06:31] we both began to suspect
[01:06:33] that she wasn't just a Christian
[01:06:36] that it was hard to get along with,
[01:06:37] that she was actually working for the other side.

[01:06:42] But we were just thinking,
[01:06:44] we just get a weird feeling about her, something ain't right.

[01:06:58] but she just had kind of rented this house

[01:07:05] like if you walk into the side, there's a kitchen

[01:08:07] standing next to him, whispering in his ear
[01:08:11] and what she was whispering in his ear was,
[01:08:15] I'm not a witch, I'm not a Satanist, you don't know, right?
[01:08:19] She was trying to convince him
[01:08:22] that she was not what we were thinking she was, right?
[01:08:27] So, and it was interesting because I could hear
[01:08:31] and perceive everything she was saying to him,

[01:18:31] and he said, deaf and dumb spirit, come out of him, right?
[01:18:37] If you're getting attacked by a spirit of lust, just say it.

[01:19:34] Years ago, after 21 day fast, 10 day fast, 14 day fast,
[01:19:40] I mean, I fasted myself down to 155 pounds at one point.
[01:19:46] I weighed 200 pounds now.
[01:19:48] So you can imagine, I think I was wearing a 30 waist jeans.
[01:19:54] I mean, I was, I finally, I had fasted
[01:19:56] and prayed myself down to nothing
[01:19:58] and finally had to protein deficiency
[01:20:02] and had to stop and just take time to eat
[01:20:04] and take protein and lift weights to get back in shape.
[01:20:09] But it was powerful.
[01:20:10] The Lord told me a lot of people
[01:20:11] were getting saved at that time.
[01:20:13] A lot of people were getting delivered from demons.
[01:20:15] A lot of people were getting healed
[01:20:17] because of that fasting and prayer time.
[01:20:20] So one day I'm walking out to the woods to pray,
[01:20:22] which I did often, and the Lord spoke to me
[01:20:26] and he said, son, your enemy respects you.
[01:20:31] And he said, but everywhere you go will become a war zone.
[01:20:41] So you're in the war zone.
[01:20:48] So you have to fight.
[01:20:50] And the people who won't fight
[01:20:53] and won't do what is necessary to live under the principles
[01:20:58] that keep you with the ability to fight,
[01:21:04] they fall by the wayside, man.
[01:21:06] One after the other, after the other.
[01:21:10] Look, we have more people that have fallen away
[01:21:18] than we have in attendance church
[01:21:23] because they won't fight.
[01:21:26] They decide it's too hard, got to give in.

[01:21:56] but they go home and they can't beat the lust,

[01:22:15] all kinds of stuff is just over and over and over again.
[01:22:18] And it's because they won't fight.

[01:22:24] People will say, well, witchcraft doesn't affect me.

[01:22:36] He said this to the Galatians, I think it's powerful.
[01:22:39] In fact, it's the only time this particular word
