[00:04:14] We exalt you, King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
[00:04:17] The name of Jesus is above every name.
[00:04:21] And Lord, you are the same yesterday, today and forever.

[00:04:41] to walk with you in a real relationship and to be led by the Holy Spirit.

[00:04:53] everyone that's watching and listening that they will
[00:04:56] they'll receive that understanding, Lord, and they will hunger and thirst
[00:04:59] and they will seek you until they are walking in that place with you.

[00:05:21] For those of you that have not been here, just to give you a little update,
[00:05:26] the last two weeks, if if if you haven't seen the last two weeks,
[00:05:31] particularly last week, last week, if you miss last week,
[00:05:34] then you're going to need to see last week or go back and watch it
[00:05:37] to fully understand where I'm going today.
[00:05:40] Because last week I talked about
[00:05:42] the need for the baptism, the Holy Spirit, and the week before that,
[00:05:46] it was called knowing Jesus.
[00:05:47] So we talked about knowing Jesus being truly born again,
[00:05:51] truly repenting of sin and that supernatural witness
[00:05:55] that you're born again and then developing a relationship with Jesus.
[00:05:59] Last week was about the next step that every believer,
[00:06:03] I believe every believer should take a lot don't because they choose not to
[00:06:07] or because they've been in denominations that taught them wrong about it.
[00:06:11] But about the baptism, the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking
[00:06:14] in other tongues.
[00:06:15] And we went through acts to acts 10 acts, chapter 19, first Corinthians 13 and 14.
[00:06:21] We went through those verses about the baptism of the Holy Spirit being filled.
[00:06:26] Not that you don't have the Holy Spirit in you when you are born again,
[00:06:29] but there is more.
[00:06:31] There's always more to be filled.
[00:06:34] And then even after they were filled, in fact, we see the disciples praying
[00:06:37] and asked for after they were filled, and they said, Lord,
[00:06:41] we want you to stretch forth your hand to heal and do signs and wonders
[00:06:45] and confirm your word.
[00:06:46] And it says that they were filled again.
[00:06:49] All right. See, this is the thing, too.
[00:06:50] I've been talking about never being satisfied,
[00:06:54] never being satisfied with thinking.
[00:06:57] Well, I'm this is why we have denominations.
[00:07:00] Denominations say, well, I got I got this much, so I'm satisfied right here.
[00:07:04] And then another group comes along and they go, well, no,
[00:07:06] there's a little bit more we need to go.
[00:07:07] They read a little further in the book. Right.
[00:07:11] That's what my dad did. Remember, I shared that last week.
[00:07:13] My dad got got saved.
[00:07:14] We got born again in the Baptist Church right down here,
[00:07:17] Northside Baptist Church, 1979 ish somewhere in that time period.
[00:07:24] And my dad made the mistake after he was born again and baptized in water.
[00:07:28] So that's where the Baptist pretty much stopped.
[00:07:31] And my dad kept reading the book, got to that book of acts,
[00:07:36] started reading about this baptism, the Holy Spirit, the gifts of tongues
[00:07:40] and prophecy and healing and miracles and things like that, visions,
[00:07:44] words of knowledge, words of wisdom.
[00:07:46] So my dad goes and asked the pastor at the time, what about this?
[00:07:50] And he got the door slammed in his face.
[00:07:52] And because he was a baby Christian, that caused him to stumble
[00:07:55] and really set his life on a bad course for the next few years.
[00:08:00] Quite a few years, actually.
[00:08:02] So this is not about me picking on denominations.
[00:08:07] Frankly, I don't care about denominations, neither does Jesus.
[00:08:12] He cares about one thing.
[00:08:14] This right here.
[00:08:16] And you either live your Christian life by this book, the Bible of Genesis
[00:08:21] to the maps, or you choose to say you choose to pick and choose.
[00:08:27] And this is again, this is why we have denominations.
[00:08:29] This is why there are many Christians
[00:08:31] that can't seem to agree with each other on things.
[00:08:33] Because they won't stick to this in its context.
[00:08:39] And that's why we have these problems.
[00:08:41] If we would all just be as as you know what the Muslims call us,
[00:08:46] people of the book, that's what we're supposed to be.
[00:08:51] Problem with Christianity is we've got Christianity
[00:08:54] that don't like much of this book, entire denominations
[00:08:59] that come against things that are in this book.
[00:09:02] But we're not going to be that way, are we?
[00:09:04] Remember, we believe the whole Bible is the inspired,
[00:09:07] infallible word of God and is profitable for doctrine, right?
[00:09:12] For instruction that the man of God or woman of God may be perfect.
[00:09:17] That word perfect means mature, grow up, quit being a child spiritually,
[00:09:21] grow up and be thoroughly furnished under all good works.
[00:09:27] So see, if you're going to really I believe if you're going to fulfill
[00:09:30] your calling, the fullness of your calling,
[00:09:34] you are going to have to pursue the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
[00:09:37] And then you're going to have to learn to discern and hear the voice of God.
[00:09:45] I've entitled this this this morning.
[00:09:46] We're going to call it knowing the voice of the Lord.
[00:09:51] We've had knowing Jesus, knowing the Holy Spirit,
[00:09:54] knowing the voice of the Lord, knowing when he's speaking to you now.
[00:09:58] I got quite a few scriptures to go through,
[00:10:00] so I hope you have your Bibles this morning.
[00:10:03] And remember something Leonard Ravenhill,
[00:10:04] I may not have the quote exact, but Leonard Ravenhill said the problem
[00:10:08] in Western Christianity, you know, and he died in 1994.
[00:10:12] He's one of the great prophets, man, just man of God.
[00:10:16] He wrote in 1959, Why Revival Terries?
[00:10:19] It's still just like he wrote it yesterday.
[00:10:22] He wrote the terrifying book Sodom Had No Bible.
[00:10:28] Think about that one for a minute.
[00:10:31] And he was just a man of God.
[00:10:33] I remember David Wilkerson talking about him.
[00:10:36] He was kind of David Wilkerson's mentor.
[00:10:38] And David Wilkerson was holding a pastor's conference in there
[00:10:42] in Times Square Church in New York.
[00:10:44] And by that time, I think Leonard Ravenhill was in his 80s.
[00:10:49] And he said, you know, all the pastors were there.
[00:10:52] And and so David Wilkerson said, Hey, Lynn, do you have anything to say
[00:10:57] to the pastors? And Lynn said, Yes.
[00:11:02] And they said he slowly shuffled up there to the pulpit.
[00:11:06] He said, You come to this conference this week
[00:11:08] and I'm sure there's going to be a lot of railing on what's wrong with America
[00:11:14] and all the sin that's in America and all the morality
[00:11:17] and all the political problems that's in America.
[00:11:20] He said, I'm going to tell you what the problem is.
[00:11:23] You the pastors. And he went and set out.
[00:11:28] So just give you a little hint about Leonard Ravenhill.
[00:11:31] He didn't play games.
[00:11:34] But he he made the statement at some point to the effect that he said
[00:11:38] Christianity in the West over the last few decades has become so
[00:11:43] subpar, subnormal that in anybody dares to try to live normal
[00:11:49] Christianity, they're seeing weird or extremist or, you know,
[00:11:54] you're one of those Pentecostal holy roll holy rollers.
[00:11:57] If you want to talk about hearing God's voice or visions or dreams
[00:12:02] or prophetic words, you know, but that is normal Christianity.
[00:12:07] And I'm about to show you that about to walk you through normal Christianity.
[00:12:11] In fact, that could be another title for this, but normal Christianity
[00:12:15] because normal Christianity is loving Jesus, loving the word of God,
[00:12:19] loving holiness and righteousness, loving people enough
[00:12:24] to do what you need to do so you can be an example to them
[00:12:27] and lead them to Jesus.
[00:12:30] And sometimes to do that, you're going to have to walk in the supernatural.
[00:12:35] And that means you're going to have to know sometimes their thoughts
[00:12:39] or the secrets of their heart.
[00:12:41] And I tell you, it's and I shared this, you know, I've talked about Jesus
[00:12:45] with the woman of the well several times in these last few weeks
[00:12:48] because it's so powerful because Jesus has given us an example of
[00:12:53] witnessing to somebody using the gifts of the Holy Spirit
[00:12:56] to jar them out of their spiritual slumber and blindness
[00:13:01] because he walks up to this woman and they start talking a little bit
[00:13:04] and they're getting nowhere, really.
[00:13:06] And then Jesus tells her, go get your husband.
[00:13:10] And then she goes, I don't have a husband.
[00:13:12] He said, yes, that's true.
[00:13:15] You've had five husbands and the one you have now is not your husband.
[00:13:18] Oh, sir, I perceive thou art a prophet.
[00:13:22] Now, all of us want to say, well, that was Jesus.
[00:13:25] So that's not us.
[00:13:27] No, Jesus said this.
[00:13:28] In fact, put this scripture.
[00:13:29] We'll start with this scripture out here, John 1412.
[00:13:31] We're going to go through a lot of scripture today.
[00:13:35] So I hope you're warm and comfortable.
[00:13:38] Not sleepy, though, but warm and comfortable.
[00:13:42] But John 1412, I promise you, you're going to have plenty of Bible today.
[00:13:47] John 1412, Jesus said this very, very I say unto you,
[00:13:52] he that believeth on me, the works that I do, shall he do also
[00:13:56] and greater works than he shall he do because I go into my father.
[00:14:01] Everybody see that?
[00:14:02] He didn't say some of them that believe on me.
[00:14:05] He didn't say just the apostles.
[00:14:07] He didn't say just pastors or five old ministries.
[00:14:10] He said, no, he that believeth and believeth there
[00:14:13] for my fire and grace school of ministry students.
[00:14:15] That is a present tense Greek verb.
[00:14:17] And what is the definition of a present tense Greek verb?
[00:14:23] Ongoing, continuous action, taking place in the present.
[00:14:26] Absolutely.
[00:14:27] So he's saying he that believeth on me.
[00:14:30] This is a present tense.
[00:14:31] So that means everybody who would believe on him.
[00:14:35] He said, the works that I do, shall you do also and greater works than these.
[00:14:39] Well, let me tell you some of the things Jesus did.
[00:14:41] What did Jesus say?
[00:14:42] He said, I always do what I see my father do.
[00:14:48] I speak what he speaks to me.
[00:14:51] And Jesus would always go pray and do what he was told.
[00:14:57] And many times it is baptism, the amount of transfiguration.
[00:15:01] Many times, not just there would be a spiritual communication with him,
[00:15:07] but sometimes the people around would hear the voice from him,
[00:15:11] the voice of the Lord from him.
[00:15:15] And I want to say this to you.
[00:15:16] This is not just remember, I tell you all the time.
[00:15:19] Yes, Jesus Christ was God Almighty manifested in the flesh.
[00:15:24] That is the great mystery of Christianity.
[00:15:28] God became a man.
[00:15:31] But when he came here and took on flesh, became a man.
[00:15:36] He didn't come here to operate his ministry as God in the flesh.
[00:15:41] He could have.
[00:15:43] He chose to operate his ministry as a man anointed by God.
[00:15:50] That's where you get asked.
[00:15:52] Go ahead and put up acts 1038.
[00:15:54] It says how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth, who went about doing good,
[00:15:59] healing all who were oppressed of the devil.
[00:16:02] I go ahead and don't put it up, John.
[00:16:05] I mean, that acts 1038, a lot of scriptures are going through today.
[00:16:12] In fact, a lot of scriptures in the book of acts.
[00:16:17] And it interesting, you know, let me just say this.
[00:16:20] They call it the acts of the apostles, but it just it wasn't just
[00:16:23] the acts of the apostles there.
[00:16:25] It was the acts of Agabus.
[00:16:27] It was the acts of Ananias.
[00:16:29] It was the acts of many different people.
[00:16:33] Priscilla and Aquila, Apollos.
[00:16:36] There's many people that would hear what the Lord was saying
[00:16:42] and would obey.
[00:16:44] And that was normal everyday Christianity.
[00:16:47] But there it is right there.
[00:16:49] Now, if Jesus was going to operate as God in the flesh,
[00:16:52] why would he be need to be anointed?
[00:16:55] You get what I'm saying?
[00:16:58] It's not. Remember, it talks about Philippians, how he set aside,
[00:17:01] though he equal with God, set aside that and humbled himself and became a man.
[00:17:09] He operated as a man.
[00:17:13] Now, because he didn't have Adam's lineage fully from the father's side,
[00:17:21] he had the father.
[00:17:22] He could live the holy life, the sinless life
[00:17:25] supernaturally because nobody else could do that but him.
[00:17:28] But everything else he did by prayer, that's why he went and prayed.
[00:17:32] They asked him, Lord, how do you do these things?
[00:17:34] What do you do these things?
[00:17:35] And, you know, they tried to cast out demons one time this kid
[00:17:38] and they couldn't cast the demons out and they said, why couldn't we do it?
[00:17:41] He said, this only comes by prayer and fasting.
[00:17:44] See, he was showing them when he would go pray and when he would fast,
[00:17:48] he was showing this is how you do it.
[00:17:51] See, he was just being an example.
[00:17:52] He was being a good teacher, a good teacher.
[00:17:55] Doesn't just tell you, they show you, right?
[00:17:59] And that's the way he was doing now.
[00:18:02] Let's start. We're going to go to John.
[00:18:06] Let's go to John, first, 16 will be in John for a minute.
[00:18:09] Then we're going to go to Acts.
[00:18:12] I even went old school this morning and wrote me a list last night.
[00:18:17] That's the way I used to do it for years.
[00:18:19] Just write paper, actual real paper with John 16.
[00:18:26] Oh, let's see here.
[00:18:31] You all OK if we teach the Bible in church on Sunday morning?
[00:18:34] All right. Now let's go to John 16.
[00:18:40] I guess we'll go to verse five. We'll read there.
[00:18:46] Well, Jesus was talking to them about when he would go away.
[00:18:48] He was going to send the Holy Spirit.
[00:18:51] He said, But now I go my way to him that sent me,
[00:18:53] and none of you asketh me whither goest thou?
[00:18:56] But because I have said these things, sorrow has filled your heart.
[00:19:00] Nevertheless, I tell you the truth.
[00:19:02] It is expedient or better.
[00:19:05] Think about this.
[00:19:05] Jesus is better for you than I go away, for if I go not away,
[00:19:10] the comforter will not come to you, but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
[00:19:15] And when he has come, he will reprove or convict or convince the world of sin,
[00:19:21] of righteousness and of judgment, of sin, because they believe not on me
[00:19:25] of righteousness, because I go to my father and you see me no more
[00:19:29] and of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
[00:19:31] And then Jesus says this to them.
[00:19:33] I have yet many things to say unto you, but you cannot bear them now.
[00:19:38] So the Lord is saying, even though I'm here in the flesh talking to you,
[00:19:43] it's better that I go and send the Holy Spirit to you.
[00:19:46] Why is that?
[00:19:47] Because Jesus in the flesh could be only in one place at one time.
[00:19:52] Right.
[00:19:52] But after he would die on the cross to pay the penalty for sin
[00:19:56] and be resurrected from the dead, then he could send his spirit to dwell
[00:20:00] in anybody washed in his blood, cleansed, regenerated, born again.
[00:20:06] He can send his spirit into a everyone that would receive.
[00:20:11] Now, think about that, how powerful that is.
[00:20:13] The Lord knew it's better if I get my Holy Spirit in all of you
[00:20:19] than for me to be here.
[00:20:22] We need to let that register in our heads
[00:20:25] because you're supposed to be doing what he did on this earth,
[00:20:30] teaching the truth, hearing the voice of the Lord
[00:20:34] and operating in the supernatural.
[00:20:36] That's what you're supposed to be doing as a Christian.
[00:20:38] If you're not doing that, then you're not fulfilling
[00:20:42] the calling and destiny and purpose of your life.
[00:20:45] And that's probably why you're depressed and discouraged
[00:20:48] and feel like I'm not doing anything.
[00:20:51] Let me tell you, if you spend enough time with the Lord
[00:20:53] and get make sure you get the sin out of your life
[00:20:56] and get the doubt out of your life and get your own will
[00:20:58] and plans out of your life and you get all that crucified
[00:21:01] and you take up your cross and start fasting and praying.
[00:21:04] I promise you, you're going to start hearing the Holy Spirit
[00:21:08] because he's got some stuff for you to do.
[00:21:12] And if you start doing that,
[00:21:13] that's when your life has purpose.
[00:21:15] That's when you feel the most joyful and satisfied
[00:21:18] as a Christian when you know you are doing
[00:21:21] the will of God for your life.
[00:21:24] There's nothing more satisfying.
[00:21:26] And two, I'm going to tell you this.
[00:21:28] Back in 21, when I was like laying there about to die
[00:21:31] and Troy was there with me, he was there before me
[00:21:34] a few months.
[00:21:38] I know one thing I was sitting there saying,
[00:21:40] Lord, you know what?
[00:21:42] I was I could say I've done what you've told me to do.
[00:21:50] I may have not done it all perfect,
[00:21:52] but I tried to hear your voice fast and pray
[00:21:56] and minister to as many people as I possibly could
[00:21:59] and not do my own will for my life.
[00:22:03] And so what I'm saying was when I thought I was about to die,
[00:22:06] which I was, the doctor told my wife,
[00:22:08] you didn't think I was going to make it.
[00:22:12] I could say this, though,
[00:22:14] I knew I had finished my course,
[00:22:19] but I said, Lord, I don't think you through with me yet.
[00:22:24] But when you get to that point,
[00:22:27] will you be able to say, I fought a good fight?
[00:22:31] I finished what you gave me to do, Lord.
[00:22:37] You know, Leonard Ravenhill used to say,
[00:22:39] it's not what I've done that scares me.
[00:22:41] It's what I haven't done.
[00:22:48] It's also on his tombstone are the things you're living for
[00:22:51] worth Christ dying for.
[00:22:55] He's still got that finger pointing out from his tombstone at.
[00:23:03] Let's read this. Let's keep reading.
[00:23:07] Oh, we have so much now, he said, I have many things to say into you,
[00:23:12] but you cannot bear it. And now that's verse 12.
[00:23:14] Now we go to verse and he said now he said, I've many things to say to you.
[00:23:18] How be it when he the spirit of truth is calm, the Holy Spirit,
[00:23:24] he will guide you into all truth, for he shall not speak of himself,
[00:23:28] but whatsoever he shall hear that shall he speak
[00:23:31] and he will show you things to come.
[00:23:34] He shall glorify me, for he shall receive of mine and show it unto you.
[00:23:41] All things that the Father hath are mine.
[00:23:44] Therefore, said I, he shall take of mine and show it unto you.
[00:23:48] You need to you need to focus in on just a few words here.
[00:23:52] He said the Holy Spirit will come and he will he will speak to you.
[00:23:56] Somebody say speak, not just the words on this page.
[00:24:06] He wants to speak to you.
[00:24:07] Like I've said many times when I was in Washington, D.C. in 2008,
[00:24:11] there's nowhere in the Bible that says, Dean, go back to Opelika and start a
[00:24:16] church. But the Holy Spirit told me that you get it.
[00:24:25] So I wouldn't have known what to do just from the scriptures.
[00:24:29] But now remember this,
[00:24:30] the Holy Spirit will never tell you anything that contradicts the scriptures,
[00:24:35] nor will he ever lead you to do anything immoral or against
[00:24:40] his law, his word, his rules.
[00:24:45] He's never going to tell you to go commit adultery.
[00:24:47] He's never going to tell you to go get drunk.
[00:24:48] He's never going to tell you to divorce your spouse without a biblical
[00:24:53] reason. You understand?
[00:24:56] He's never going to tell you to go smack somebody.
[00:25:02] He's not going to tell you to go to the casino and put it all on red or
[00:25:06] black. You understand?
[00:25:13] So there's nowhere me going to start a church is not violating the
[00:25:17] principles of scripture.
[00:25:18] Plus, I already knew that that was part of the calling upon my life
[00:25:22] was to start and plant churches.
[00:25:23] So, okay, and the Lord gave me a sign.
[00:25:27] He spoke to me, said they're going to fire you.
[00:25:28] This is in October.
[00:25:29] They're going to fire you in November 30th.
[00:25:31] Go to Opelika.
[00:25:32] Go back to your hometown and start a church.
[00:25:37] And I've told you I got a phone call from an old friend had no idea.
[00:25:40] I hadn't told anybody didn't tell my wife about the Lord speaking
[00:25:43] this to me because I was going to pray about it for a while and a
[00:25:47] friend of mine calls me from here in Opelika said there's some
[00:25:50] people in Opelika to be interested.
[00:25:52] If you in a church, you kind of church you would start I thought
[00:25:56] wasn't that interesting?
[00:25:58] I didn't even tell them that I say a word.
[00:26:01] I didn't want to I didn't want the devil to know.
[00:26:04] Sometimes you don't need to you can keep your mouth shut.
[00:26:08] Are you just asking for trouble, right?
[00:26:11] So he will speak to you.
[00:26:16] He's going to lead you and guide you into all truths.
[00:26:18] He's going to teach you the word.
[00:26:20] How better to have the Holy Spirit helping you understand the Bible
[00:26:25] as you read it and study it.
[00:26:27] I can't tell you how many times he's helped me understand things
[00:26:29] that I had no understanding of and I couldn't find it the answers
[00:26:33] from anybody.
[00:26:34] I had to get it from him, but he said he shall not speak of
[00:26:39] himself, but whatsoever.
[00:26:40] He shall hear that.
[00:26:41] Shall he speak so he's going to speak to you.
[00:26:44] He's going to guide you into all truth, but he's also going
[00:26:47] to at times show you things to come.
[00:26:51] Sometimes you need a heads up on some things.
[00:26:55] The Lord's told me some stuff ahead of time and I'm so glad
[00:26:58] he did so y'all don't know there's a little story here
[00:27:03] where there was a dream that someone had that shared with
[00:27:07] us and I knew by the witness of the Holy Spirit that it was
[00:27:10] from the Lord and what it was was that basically someone
[00:27:15] was going to come here and they said they were going
[00:27:19] to be that they that their their job was going to be
[00:27:22] a forklift operator, but they were a pedophile.
[00:27:30] So a guy shows up.
[00:27:32] This is weeks or a few months later a guy shows up, but
[00:27:36] I follow that I knew it was a prophetic dream a warning
[00:27:40] because a lot of dreams are warnings.
[00:27:43] So this guy online keeps telling me he's going to come
[00:27:46] here from across the country and he tells me he's going
[00:27:50] to come here and I tell him do not come here.
[00:27:52] I just had a bad feeling do not come here.
[00:27:54] Guess what a week later on Sunday morning.
[00:27:58] He's standing in here strike one, right?
[00:28:04] But we go to lunch with him and back then before covid
[00:28:07] we all went to these big, you know, we take 20 30 people
[00:28:10] and go to lunch and we'd always take make sure the visitors
[00:28:14] would go we could go to lunch with everybody.
[00:28:15] Well, he starts talking some crazy stuff to I think
[00:28:19] it was the sister and y'all down on the other end
[00:28:22] of the table and it became obvious that this guy was
[00:28:27] probably some kind of MK ultra person, but we won't get
[00:28:32] into that right now, but long story short, he was talking
[00:28:39] about coming back here.
[00:28:40] He was camping.
[00:28:41] I think he was camping at Tuskegee National Park or
[00:28:45] whatever, but it got so heavy and then we found out that

[00:28:58] and then I found out because he you know, it's weird.
[00:29:00] Some people get around us.
[00:29:01] I don't care if they're agents or infiltrators or whatever
[00:29:05] they might be it's almost like because they get around
[00:29:07] the Holy Spirit.
[00:29:08] It's like truth serum.
[00:29:10] They say stuff that I'm just like I can't believe you
[00:29:12] just confess that but he started talking about to just
[00:29:16] having having fantasies about killing a bunch of people.
[00:29:20] Yeah, and then he let that out and then he let it out
[00:29:25] that he couldn't see his children and I was like,
[00:29:30] so he said he was going to come back Wednesday night.
[00:29:33] Well, I got such a feeling of from the Lord a warning deal
[00:29:38] with this now.
[00:29:40] So I called him on the phone before Wednesday.
[00:29:45] I called him on the phone and said look, here's the deal.
[00:29:50] There was a prophetic dream about you before you got
[00:29:54] here and said you were forklift operator.
[00:29:57] It just happens to be what you do.
[00:30:00] I said, let me ask you a question.
[00:30:01] I still have the recording and my wife was sitting next
[00:30:05] to so she can tell you this is true.
[00:30:07] I said, why can you not see your children and he just
[00:30:10] spit it out because he had molested them when they were
[00:30:13] young and I told him you pack your stuff and you move
[00:30:19] on now that was again, this is this is this is giving
[00:30:24] you kind of an inside look at kind of some of the stuff
[00:30:26] I deal with that y'all don't even know about I could y'all
[00:30:32] don't know half the stories of the crap that happens
[00:30:38] and the people that come around.
[00:30:41] And so trust me.
[00:30:43] Let me let me just say this those of you if you ever see
[00:30:45] me send somebody down the road.
[00:30:48] There is a good reason.
[00:30:51] All right, so I want everybody to come but don't come
[00:30:56] with all that stuff and there are warnings and this
[00:31:01] is and this is going to be important for you because
[00:31:02] in the days ahead the Lord is going to want to warn
[00:31:05] you about some things.
[00:31:08] There's going to be some times where you're going
[00:31:09] to have to really know the voice of the Lord because
[00:31:13] you're going to he's going to say don't go there
[00:31:14] today or the woman that had to dream about Walmart.
[00:31:20] There's going to be a day.
[00:31:20] You can't go to Walmart.
[00:31:23] I don't go there now.
[00:31:24] Anyway, I don't like it, but they're going to use
[00:31:28] Walmart's they're going to use Walmart's to vaccinate
[00:31:32] you and stamp you with the mark of the beast.
[00:31:34] You mark it down.
[00:31:37] It's coming but they're going to do it at the mega
[00:31:40] churches and they'll be they'll be they'll be lining
[00:31:46] people up to get the mark.
[00:31:47] They'll be Christians thinking they're supposed
[00:31:49] to get it.
[00:31:51] What did you see that now?
[00:31:52] Let's go to this John 10 quickly back up to John
[00:31:56] 10 man.
[00:31:59] That's that's only the introduction.
[00:32:00] We got a long way to go.
[00:32:04] You say Pastor Dean as you turn to John 10,
[00:32:07] how do you how do you hear his voice?
[00:32:09] Well, how do you know?
[00:32:13] All right, remember Elijah talked about God speaking
[00:32:17] in a still small voice.
[00:32:20] Okay, so when I'm talking about hearing the voice
[00:32:23] of the Lord, it's it's rarely going to be audible
[00:32:26] where your natural ears here like you hear me right
[00:32:29] now rarely ever but he speaks in a still small voice
[00:32:35] where his thoughts come in to you and override
[00:32:39] your thoughts.
[00:32:41] The devil does the same stuff to you.
[00:32:43] I can prove it right now.
[00:32:45] If you have like hideous horrible terrible gruesome
[00:32:51] evil thoughts come in your head, you're like,
[00:32:53] I wasn't thinking about nothing like that.
[00:32:54] I wasn't watching anything like that.
[00:32:56] I wasn't listening to anything like that.
[00:32:58] Let me tell you what that is.
[00:32:59] That's demons putting those thoughts overriding
[00:33:02] your thoughts trying to make you accept them as
[00:33:04] your thoughts.
[00:33:06] But the Lord can speak to you the Holy Spirit can
[00:33:10] come in and speak to you and override your thoughts
[00:33:13] and it's just like sometimes it's so strong.
[00:33:14] You just you know, it's like no question and then
[00:33:19] when the Holy Spirit overrides your thoughts with
[00:33:21] his thoughts and is telling you something or revealing
[00:33:24] to you something there are times where he will
[00:33:26] also witness that by his presence touching that
[00:33:31] peace that sense of God's presence and power will
[00:33:35] just just sometimes just gently touch you when
[00:33:38] you hear that and so you're getting two witnesses.
[00:33:42] All right now granted a lot of times people think
[00:33:47] they're hearing from the Lord and it's their own
[00:33:49] thoughts and they're not they haven't really
[00:33:52] matured and learned enough how to scrutinize
[00:33:54] between the two and you have to be this is something
[00:33:56] you have to be very careful with don't play games
[00:33:59] with this.
[00:33:59] This is not a toy to play around with but God
[00:34:04] wants you to begin to discern his voice and hear
[00:34:07] his voice like I was working with this guy
[00:34:09] one time.
[00:34:11] You remember the boxer from from Rhode Island and
[00:34:18] the Holy Spirit we're working and the Holy
[00:34:21] Spirit told me said this guy didn't have a father
[00:34:25] in his life and that's why he is the way he
[00:34:27] is and I was going to talk to him about it and
[00:34:31] it never worked out for us to talk because he
[00:34:33] moved off the job or something and but I ended
[00:34:37] up getting invited to his child's birthday party
[00:34:41] before he left here and sat down in his living
[00:34:45] room and he showed me his life.
[00:34:46] He's a professional boxer for a while and he
[00:34:48] was pretty good at it and he told me he said
[00:34:53] yeah he said I never had my dad just left us
[00:34:56] abandon us and and you could tell he was still
[00:35:01] hurt and angry by that and I was able to I
[00:35:05] and I talked to him about Jesus through that
[00:35:07] now and I told the Lord it's like I wished I
[00:35:10] had told him this before he told me it had a
[00:35:13] lot more impact on him but it was like the
[00:35:15] opportunity never really really for me to talk
[00:35:19] to him but these are things that I'm telling
[00:35:22] you the Lord can speak to you about things
[00:35:24] the Lord's told me at times during church
[00:35:26] service.
[00:35:27] He is pointed someone out and said the spirit
[00:35:30] of suicide is working on their mind and on
[00:35:33] their heart and sure enough I'll say it
[00:35:38] there's someone in here struggling with
[00:35:39] suicidal thoughts and I've had people come up
[00:35:43] and confess that yeah that was me and it
[00:35:45] would be people you would never ever think
[00:35:48] would have been struggling with such a thing.
[00:35:53] That's why Jesus many times Jesus said when
[00:35:55] he was talking to the Pharisees and sometimes
[00:35:57] when he was preaching to a crowd it said
[00:35:59] when Jesus knew their thoughts well this is
[00:36:03] just supernatural and God can speak to you
[00:36:05] and show you what somebody's thinking or
[00:36:06] what they're what they're troubled with
[00:36:08] what's what's tormenting them or hurting
[00:36:11] them and this is powerful when you can walk
[00:36:14] up to them and tell them and they know I
[00:36:18] tell you what I've seen people just break
[00:36:20] down in tears because that at that moment
[00:36:22] they realize God does care about me.
[00:36:24] He cared enough about me to tell this
[00:36:27] person so they come up and talk to me.
[00:36:29] So I would know that it wasn't me that
[00:36:32] it was really God speaking to me.
[00:36:38] This is again this is Bible.
[00:36:41] Now it was John 10.
[00:36:43] Let's look at this verse 1.
[00:36:46] Let's read this.
[00:36:48] There's so much I want to read.
[00:36:49] I just can't I'm not going to get to it all
[00:36:51] day but verily verily he said I say
[00:36:53] unto you he that entereth not by the door
[00:36:57] into the sheepfold but climb it up
[00:36:58] some other way the same as a thief and
[00:37:00] a robber but he that enters in by the
[00:37:02] door is the shepherd of the sheep to
[00:37:05] him the porter openeth and the sheep
[00:37:07] hear his voice and he calleth his own
[00:37:10] sheep by name and leadeth them out
[00:37:12] and when he put it forth his own sheep
[00:37:14] he goeth before them and the sheep
[00:37:17] follow him for they know his voice now
[00:37:19] let's pause right there the sheep follow
[00:37:21] him because they know his voice now
[00:37:26] folks a lot of people just think oh
[00:37:29] that just means the Bible just the
[00:37:30] Scriptures know the word voice is not
[00:37:37] the written word you hear me phone a
[00:37:42] is the Greek word it's not logos.
[00:37:44] It's not Rhema.
[00:37:46] It's phone a it's completely different.
[00:37:48] It means sound the hearing of sound.
[00:37:52] It means you hear something you perceive
[00:37:54] it you discern it see a lot of folks
[00:38:00] let me tell you where a lot of Christians
[00:38:01] are everybody know the story we're
[00:38:03] gonna we're gonna come back hold your
[00:38:05] spot in John 10 put up first
[00:38:09] Samuel 3 verse 1 here's where a lot
[00:38:13] of Christians are my show you we went
[00:38:19] for two hours last week we may not go
[00:38:21] that long but close we're not the
[00:38:26] seeker sensitive 30-minute 20-minute
[00:38:28] sermon Church okay never will be you're
[00:38:34] in class all right here we go in the
[00:38:38] child Samuel minister to the Lord
[00:38:40] remember Samuel he was the miracle
[00:38:42] child Hannah couldn't have she just
[00:38:45] prayed said I'll dedicate this child to
[00:38:50] you when the when Samuel reached what
[00:38:52] was it 12 years old think she said
[00:38:54] delivered him to the temple to serve
[00:38:56] be a servant so he was being trained
[00:38:58] to be a priest but God was good had
[00:39:02] other plans for him to be a prophet now
[00:39:05] says the child Samuel ministered unto
[00:39:08] the Lord before Eli Eli was the high
[00:39:10] priest and the word of the Lord was
[00:39:13] precious in those days and there was no
[00:39:16] open vision now let's look at this
[00:39:19] word well we'll keep reading first and
[00:39:21] it says and it came to keep going and
[00:39:22] it came to pass at that time when Eli
[00:39:24] was laid down in his place and his
[00:39:26] eyes began to wax them that he could
[00:39:28] not see keep going and air the lamp of
[00:39:32] God went out in the temple of the Lord
[00:39:34] where the Ark of God was and Samuel was
[00:39:36] laid down to sleep that the Lord
[00:39:40] called Samuel and he answered here am I
[00:39:42] keep going and he ran into Eli and said
[00:39:45] here am I for that is called me and he
[00:39:47] said I called not lie down again and
[00:39:49] he went and lay down again and the
[00:39:51] Lord called Samuel again now this went
[00:39:53] on a couple of times and then he
[00:39:57] realized this is the Lord speaking to
[00:39:59] me and the Lord gave him a word that
[00:40:02] was not good for Eli and his sons
[00:40:04] because they were evil they were wicked
[00:40:06] they were not doing the Lord's work
[00:40:07] righteously and honestly but here's where
[00:40:11] a lot of Christians are and go back
[00:40:13] to the first verse they're serving the
[00:40:16] Lord but they are yet to truly
[00:40:20] discern and hear the voice of the Lord
[00:40:23] and this is something you have to ask
[00:40:26] for and you have to desire what what
[00:40:29] inspired me as of course reading the
[00:40:32] Bible studying the Bible first and
[00:40:33] foremost but I remember hearing ministers
[00:40:35] way back we know right when I I rededicated
[00:40:38] my life in 87 people like David Wilkerson
[00:40:40] Leonard Ravenhill at the time Jimmy
[00:40:44] Swaggart before his fall and horrible
[00:40:49] stuff it went on there but other
[00:40:50] people like Larry Lee I remember
[00:40:52] ministers that would talk about I was
[00:40:55] praying and the Lord spoke to me and
[00:40:57] this is what he said as if it's this is
[00:41:01] the normal way it's supposed to be and
[00:41:04] I'm like huh and then you read the
[00:41:06] Bible and of course the Bible confirms
[00:41:08] that this is the way it's supposed to
[00:41:09] be they're supposed to be seasons and
[00:41:12] times that you hear Jesus the Shepherd
[00:41:15] you're supposed to hear his voice so
[00:41:18] you can follow him right and I love
[00:41:26] this about salmon now it says in those
[00:41:27] days there were no open vision I want
[00:41:29] you to see this this is this is
[00:41:30] important you got those definitions of
[00:41:32] open first the word open here in Hebrew
[00:41:36] is this word per us but it's interesting
[00:41:46] because it means breakthrough go to the
[00:41:50] next one show this I think I gave you

[00:42:05] going there you go there's the brown

[00:42:27] vision has on and it is vision but I
[00:42:34] like what it says here vision Oracle
[00:42:37] prophecy somebody say divine communication
[00:42:42] so what he's saying there was no divine
[00:42:45] communication that would give us
[00:42:47] breakthrough now think about that for a
[00:42:51] minute you have got to hear from the
[00:42:54] Lord to be able to move forward and
[00:43:00] again yeah there's nowhere in the in
[00:43:04] the written word that says Dean Odell
[00:43:06] Mary Nancy do little so we both had to
[00:43:16] have some divine communication because
[00:43:19] both of us were done with that whole
[00:43:21] marriage thing we already had been
[00:43:24] through enough bad stuff of that we
[00:43:25] were like nope no more both of us
[00:43:27] were at the same but no more not
[00:43:29] doing that again so the Lord had to
[00:43:32] break through to us with some divine
[00:43:35] communication and that's how we knew
[00:43:40] that we were to be married they were
[00:43:44] divorced and had some divine
[00:43:46] communication I like that you know if
[00:43:50] you divorced and you get back together
[00:43:52] there was some divine communication there
[00:43:54] yes hallelujah but let's go on with
[00:43:59] this let me show you something else
[00:44:00] here's what's even more interesting
[00:44:02] keep on going to see all right here's
[00:44:05] the strongest definition of this word for
[00:44:07] vision calzone it's not calzone calzone
[00:44:10] or I think it's just one of those
[00:44:12] spitting words in Hebrew but it means
[00:44:17] sight mentally a dream a revelation or
[00:44:21] Oracle Oracle something spoken from
[00:44:24] God all right so what he's saying there
[00:44:27] was no open there was no breakthrough
[00:44:31] communication from God we were just
[00:44:33] they were in silence and that's not
[00:44:36] good because we're not supposed to be
[00:44:38] that way but here's what's interesting
[00:44:39] let me show you something else go keep
[00:44:41] going back it's gonna take us back to
[00:44:43] peros if you're following the oh well
[00:44:49] there you go divine vision spoken of
[00:44:53] divine vision or dream so on divine
[00:44:56] revelation and Oracle same stuff so go

[00:45:04] need to understand and this is

[00:45:09] the Hebrew letters for this word for open
[00:45:14] is amazing pay rash and say all right as

[00:45:23] paleo Hebrew the ancient the original
[00:45:25] Hebrew before the Babylonian captivity
[00:45:27] these were pictographs they and they
[00:45:31] meant something they had a picture and
[00:45:33] they had a meaning behind them the
[00:45:34] letters themselves so the the first
[00:45:36] letter and of course you read Hebrew
[00:45:38] from right to left so the first letter
[00:45:40] there's pay guess what it means the
[00:45:42] mouth remember we're talking about open
[00:45:46] vision communication it literally means
[00:45:49] it says this is the mouth rash is the
[00:45:53] prince the highest Prince of the King
[00:45:56] of Kings and Zaid is the journey or how
[00:46:04] it is the journey or the how is it the
[00:46:09] motion or the breakthrough I won't I
[00:46:12] won't get into all the definition that
[00:46:14] but so it talks about the mouth of the
[00:46:19] Prince of Peace the highest Prince and
[00:46:21] how that helps your journey and helps
[00:46:24] you break through so just the letters
[00:46:28] the Hebrew letters themselves tell you
[00:46:30] the same thing God's speaking his
[00:46:32] mouth speaking to help your journey and
[00:46:36] help you break through in fact I'll
[00:46:40] just I probably I'm not children here

[00:46:53] the letters so here's the letter this
[00:46:55] is that the mouth and then it was rash

[00:47:08] a side journey our desired need so our
[00:47:11] desired need is to hear the hear from
[00:47:14] the mouth of the Prince of Peace the
[00:47:18] King of Kings and the Lord of Lords the
[00:47:19] Prince of Princes so that's what it's
[00:47:22] talking about you could look these up
[00:47:23] it's amazing when you just start
[00:47:25] breaking down words with these letters
[00:47:29] I've done it before all right we got to
[00:47:31] hurry up we're moving on now now

[00:47:40] back to John 10 then we're going to
[00:47:44] give you some examples now he talks
[00:47:47] about I'm not going to read all this
[00:47:48] again he talks about hearing God's
[00:47:50] voice the Shepherd's voice and then he
[00:47:52] Jesus makes the statement that
[00:47:54] everybody ought to know in verse 27 my
[00:47:58] sheep hear my voice and I know them and
[00:48:02] they follow me now as I have said many
[00:48:06] times because we've got people that
[00:48:07] believe this false doctrine called
[00:48:09] once saved always saved so if you read
[00:48:11] the next verse because it goes with it
[00:48:13] there's us there's a colon there and
[00:48:15] it says and I give them unto them
[00:48:16] eternal life and they shall never
[00:48:18] perish neither shall any pluck them out
[00:48:20] of my hand now some of people take that
[00:48:23] and try to say oh see well once you get
[00:48:25] saved you're always saved no matter how
[00:48:27] you live no Jesus was very specific
[00:48:31] because when this was written by the
[00:48:33] Holy Spirit moving upon John to write
[00:48:37] it he picked very specific words and
[00:48:39] verbs and the verb here my sheep hear
[00:48:44] and the verb follow are both present
[00:48:49] tense Greek verbs which means the
[00:48:51] definition is ongoing continuous action
[00:48:55] taking place in the present so what he's
[00:48:57] saying my sheep who are continually and
[00:48:59] presently hearing my voice and
[00:49:01] currently presently and ongoing hearing
[00:49:05] and following me those get eternal life
[00:49:08] you have to continue which is why
[00:49:11] Jesus would say in John 8 if you
[00:49:13] continue in my word then you are my
[00:49:16] disciples and you will know the truth
[00:49:18] and the truth will make you free you
[00:49:19] have to continue so I Paul said in
[00:49:21] Colossians 1 if you continue steadfast
[00:49:24] in the faith and be not moved away
[00:49:25] from the hope of the gospel you see
[00:49:27] sometimes we don't understand things
[00:49:29] unless we look up these these Hebrew
[00:49:31] and Greek words and even the verb
[00:49:32] tenses but Jesus said my sheep will
[00:49:35] hear my voice now let's let's see
[00:49:39] what that looks like let's look well
[00:49:41] first there's a little caveat to this
[00:49:43] too little somebody say condition go
[00:49:47] to John 18 I'm not even a quarter of
[00:49:56] the way through my part two you know
[00:50:05] I've been I've been doing the mountain
[00:50:07] of God in the North series on the
[00:50:08] radio and I've had to break down like
[00:50:12] part one into two parts and part two
[00:50:14] into two part just to get it on the
[00:50:15] radio so I'm having to say this is
[00:50:17] part two of part three you know crazy
[00:50:24] I may have to do it this on this one too
[00:50:25] but John 18 37 and now this is when
[00:50:34] Pilate and Jesus were having their
[00:50:36] little confrontation here and Pilate
[00:50:39] therefore said unto him art thou the
[00:50:41] king then and Jesus answered thou sayest
[00:50:43] that I am a king to this end was I
[00:50:46] am born and for this cause came I into
[00:50:48] the world that I should bear witness
[00:50:50] unto the truth everyone that is of
[00:50:53] the truth heareth my voice oh so I'm
[00:50:58] gonna say amen or owe me because what is
[00:51:02] he saying here if you are somebody
[00:51:04] that's gonna choose to walk in the truth
[00:51:07] of God's Word then you are a candidate to
[00:51:09] hear the voice of the Lord to be led by
[00:51:11] the Holy Spirit but if you're not going
[00:51:13] to go by what's already written here
[00:51:15] you're not gonna live your life
[00:51:16] according to the scriptures you're not
[00:51:19] gonna seek God the way he wants do it
[00:51:22] the way he wants then you can just
[00:51:25] forget this whole thing I'm talking about
[00:51:27] this morning because this is for people
[00:51:29] that are about walking in the truth of
[00:51:31] God's Word and being mature and growing
[00:51:33] up spiritually and that are ready to be
[00:51:36] about the father's business and not
[00:51:38] still wanting their own way or holding
[00:51:42] on to some pet sin that you love it
[00:51:47] and caress it that little rattlesnake you
[00:51:50] little pet rattlesnake you holding your
[00:51:52] lap you get rid of that thing now
[00:52:02] let's keep going Revelation 3 20 look
[00:52:05] put this one up for him too it kind of
[00:52:07] goes along with this remember he said
[00:52:09] everyone that is of the truth heareth
[00:52:11] my voice see there's a lot of truthers
[00:52:16] out there they're not really about the
[00:52:17] truth because I'm gonna tell you what
[00:52:21] I don't care how much you understand
[00:52:23] what's going on in the world how many
[00:52:26] of the conspiracy theories that you
[00:52:28] know are actually true I don't care how
[00:52:32] much information you may have if you
[00:52:33] don't know Jesus and you're not gonna
[00:52:35] do things according to him and his word
[00:52:38] the Bible then you are not a full
[00:52:41] truther you're about a half you're
[00:52:43] halfway truth and what's a halfway truth
[00:52:48] exactly halfway truths are bad it gets
[00:52:53] you in trouble right now this is the
[00:52:55] famous thing that you know pastors have
[00:52:58] used for years talk about unsafe people
[00:53:00] we talked about this before but he was
[00:53:01] speaking to the church of Laodicea
[00:53:04] and he tells them about them being
[00:53:06] lukewarm right he said you're neither
[00:53:08] hot or cold you're lukewarm I'm gonna
[00:53:10] spit you out of my mouth doesn't sound
[00:53:12] nice if you were in the body of Christ
[00:53:14] that means you were born again through
[00:53:15] faith and if he says I'm gonna spit
[00:53:17] you out because you're lukewarm means
[00:53:19] you get spit out of the body of Christ
[00:53:21] you know one saved always saved in that
[00:53:23] either and so pastors have used this
[00:53:26] for years right here for the unsaved
[00:53:29] and it's not talking to the unsaved
[00:53:31] it's talking to this church that
[00:53:33] became lukewarm and it says satisfied
[00:53:35] remember they said that we're rich and
[00:53:36] increased with goods we have need of
[00:53:37] nothing and Jesus said you don't even
[00:53:39] know that you're naked blind poor
[00:53:42] miserable you see that's that's most
[00:53:45] of the American Church they have no
[00:53:46] clue where they really live they live
[00:53:49] in this lukewarm watered-down
[00:53:51] Christianity they have no concept but
[00:53:54] I you know this struck me when I was
[00:53:55] just looking up verses last night with
[00:53:58] it hear my voice look at this behold
[00:54:02] I stand at the door and knock he mean
[00:54:03] he's standing outside the door of this
[00:54:05] church the Laodicean Church he's
[00:54:07] standing on the outside knocking on the
[00:54:09] door he says if any man will hear my
[00:54:13] voice first come on now he's talking
[00:54:20] about him speaking to them he's talking
[00:54:22] about relationship he's talking about
[00:54:24] prophetic revelation and a prophetic walk
[00:54:28] with the Lord where you hear his voice
[00:54:29] and you're led by the Spirit he's
[00:54:32] saying what happened to the Laodicean
[00:54:34] Church it wasn't just sin they left off
[00:54:37] hearing from him they were good enough
[00:54:41] with sermonettes for Christianettes
[00:54:42] somebody just sent me the Babylon B
[00:54:46] that said missionaries were just sent

[00:55:26] they said why don't you ever preach on
[00:55:27] repentance starting from sin he goes
[00:55:29] not my ministry let me tell you right
[00:55:31] now you don't you don't preach on teach
[00:55:32] on those things you don't have a
[00:55:33] ministry you you just might you're a
[00:55:36] life coach you're a self-help preacher
[00:55:41] and probably got other issues going on
[00:55:44] like we finding out about TD Jakes you
[00:55:50] know I don't think anybody had to even
[00:55:53] know anything else that know that he was
[00:55:55] going to P Diddy's parties sex parties why
[00:55:58] is a pastor at a sex party we think
[00:56:04] that's some big revelation now you
[00:56:07] know that it's all coming out I'll tell
[00:56:10] you what there's a whole lot of stuff
[00:56:11] is going to come out this is just the
[00:56:14] beginning Jesus said everything done in
[00:56:17] secret somebody say everything better
[00:56:22] not have some stuff in secret they say
[00:56:28] it be sure what's that Scripture I

[00:57:05] foolish virgins that at one point they
[00:57:09] had their lamps and they had some oil
[00:57:11] and they had the fire burning how do
[00:57:13] you keep that fire burning stay in him
[00:57:16] with him stay in in that place of
[00:57:17] prayer stayed in the word crying out
[00:57:19] Lord fill me I want to be led by your
[00:57:22] spirit speak to me show me what to do
[00:57:23] fill me with the knowledge of your will

[00:57:35] need to see what is it that you have
[00:57:37] for me to do now what's next you that's
[00:57:42] one thing if God's given you something
[00:57:44] to do and you've done it you need to be
[00:57:46] asking Lord what's next what what's
[00:57:48] the next step for me what's the next
[00:57:50] thing you want me doing and I want to
[00:57:53] know it's you and not just me not my
[00:57:54] plans not my will or desires show me
[00:57:58] your will see that's the true Christian
[00:58:01] is surrendered to the will of God not
[00:58:04] their own will not even other people's
[00:58:07] will people gonna come along tell you
[00:58:09] all kind of thing you should do this

[00:58:12] they I got recruited by a bunch of people
[00:58:14] they wanted me to run for Congress this
[00:58:15] time run against a crazy Mike Rogers
[00:58:19] and somebody needs to run against him
[00:58:22] he's really clueless but I was like
[00:58:26] it's not you know I'm I was I was
[00:58:28] flattered by it I was I was that you
[00:58:31] know that they thought I mean this is
[00:58:32] some serious people in you know in
[00:58:35] Alabama and I was like but that's not
[00:58:37] God's will for me I've had things
[00:58:42] offered to me bigger than that and the
[00:58:45] Lord said that's not for you I've had
[00:58:47] jobs offered to me it's like no it's
[00:58:51] not what you're supposed to do now I
[00:58:53] remember when I was 23 man let me tell
[00:58:57] you something when I was 23 I was
[00:58:59] benching 300 pounds I could spin back
[00:59:04] he's been in heel kick seven feet in the
[00:59:06] air I wouldn't be toyed with all right
[00:59:11] and I got a call from Governor Bob
[00:59:15] James they wanted me to be be part of a
[00:59:19] private security team because they were
[00:59:21] they were having trouble trusting the
[00:59:23] state police at the time and I was
[00:59:30] like wow this would be awesome and at
[00:59:34] the time I was looking at becoming
[00:59:36] doing the ministry but also being a
[00:59:38] police officer my job was I was going to
[00:59:41] I had all kind of plans and I was even
[00:59:45] accepted into the Montgomery Police
[00:59:46] Department because of the mayor said I
[00:59:48] was the end I was honest on the the
[00:59:51] form I said I did drugs into my teenage
[00:59:53] years and they kicked me out and then I
[00:59:57] had a judge friend who talked to the
[00:59:59] mayor Emory Falmer at the time and
[01:00:01] said you're in if you want to be in
[01:00:02] and then I get the call from the
[01:00:04] governor's office do you want to be
[01:00:06] part of his private security and back
[01:00:08] then man you want about toting a gun
[01:00:11] and being able to whoop somebody's butt
[01:00:13] if I want if I needed to oh yeah that
[01:00:15] sounded great to me like wow this is
[01:00:19] right up my alley here all right but I
[01:00:25] remember saying no I have to go pray
[01:00:28] now what a cool job that would have
[01:00:32] been right private security for the
[01:00:34] governor nope the Lord said that's not
[01:00:41] my plan for you son and that you know
[01:00:45] that 23 year old Dean's like oh that
[01:00:50] would have been fun but I couldn't have
[01:00:53] done what he wanted me to do and at that
[01:00:54] time well you know what he wanted me to
[01:00:55] do was start a church in Montgomery
[01:00:58] Alabama and see that was in like 94 I
[01:01:03] think it was somewhere around the 94
[01:01:05] and the Lord had me start the church
[01:01:06] in 95 and I couldn't have done
[01:01:11] everything I and to at the time I had
[01:01:13] to travel and then the Brownsville
[01:01:14] revival started and he wanted me going
[01:01:16] down there and then I started the
[01:01:17] church in Georgia so it wouldn't have
[01:01:19] been I couldn't have done that job and
[01:01:22] do what God called me to do you see and
[01:01:27] I look back on that now and go thank God
[01:01:31] I listen because you know what I needed
[01:01:33] those years those next seven years to
[01:01:38] learn how to pastor how to plant
[01:01:42] churches I it was it was on the job
[01:01:46] training it was a lot of learning and
[01:01:48] I wouldn't be the pastor of the teacher
[01:01:53] that I am today if I hadn't have gone
[01:01:56] through all that and I hadn't learned
[01:01:57] all that so what I'm saying is you've
[01:02:00] got to be able to win something that
[01:02:03] looks all glittery glitter and gold and
[01:02:06] wonderful and everything and it may be
[01:02:08] handed to you on a silver platter and
[01:02:10] the Lord's like no no see that's why
[01:02:15] I dropped the modeling career and the
[01:02:16] movies and all that it was like no
[01:02:19] when the Lord got a hold of me when I
[01:02:21] was 19 he was like you walk away from
[01:02:23] all that I knew I didn't he did I didn't
[01:02:25] even have asked I knew I knew there
[01:02:28] wasn't no way I'm gonna be in diehard
[01:02:30] one I had I had to say nope can't be in
[01:02:32] that I mean I don't know what part I
[01:02:34] could have done it would have been
[01:02:36] Christian I mean I was gonna be one of
[01:02:43] the terrorists or I promise not but I
[01:02:49] remember that I did the screen test for
[01:02:50] all my all my children one life to
[01:02:53] live you know all those soap operas I
[01:02:54] didn't know I first got signed my
[01:02:55] contract and I did the screen test and
[01:02:58] there that's how I got the part and
[01:02:59] diehard they saw the the screen test
[01:03:02] they're like you're in man you're in
[01:03:04] and I remember when the Lord got a hold
[01:03:08] of me just a few months later it was
[01:03:09] like dropped it like a hot potato
[01:03:14] because I knew that wasn't God just
[01:03:17] showed me that was not his wheel for
[01:03:19] my life and I walked away from it I
[01:03:22] was people were already having me sign
[01:03:26] autographs that's where it was
[01:03:28] already going I was having to sign
[01:03:30] autographs and I hadn't been in the
[01:03:32] movie yet and I know now had I not
[01:03:37] listened and gone that direction I
[01:03:39] would be a dead man I'd be in hell
[01:03:42] right now because the old Dean only
[01:03:49] knew how to party at one speed Mary
[01:03:55] Lou knows let's keep going Jesus stands
[01:04:08] at the door now I think about that
[01:04:09] whole time it would bother me I would
[01:04:12] be troubled if I wasn't hearing from the
[01:04:16] Lord about things and and listen this
[01:04:19] doesn't mean I hear something every day
[01:04:20] or every time I go to pray let me let
[01:04:22] me make sure I don't care the most
[01:04:24] spiritual people are not going to be
[01:04:25] hearing stuff every day if you are it's
[01:04:27] probably not God somebody's got a
[01:04:31] prophecy every day mmm no it's not the

[01:04:42] Lord said to David don't be like a
[01:04:45] the horse or they can't be turned with
[01:04:50] the bridle and then he says this I will
[01:04:54] guide you with my eye now here if you

[01:05:01] about next level see there's a point
[01:05:04] where the Lord says I don't even want
[01:05:06] to have to speak words to you I want
[01:05:08] you to be looking at me so strong

[01:05:11] direction and the expression on my face

[01:05:15] I want you to do that's what he's
[01:05:17] telling David I will guide you with

[01:05:25] saying and she didn't have to speak a

[01:05:34] about something or somebody when y'all

[01:05:45] I'm saying the Lord he wants a
[01:05:47] sensitive to us and there's an that's
[01:05:48] another thing about hearing from the
[01:05:49] Lord sometimes yes you will hear
[01:05:51] thoughts that override your thoughts but
[01:05:55] sometimes I'm telling you it's the
[01:05:57] strangest thing because it's just you
[01:05:59] know you can't explain why he just like
[01:06:03] the Lord downloads oh I just know this
[01:06:06] right can't explain how I know and man
[01:06:13] those are times are just cool I mean

[01:06:24] the normal way and then there are times
[01:06:30] I will tell you there's times that that
[01:06:31] you get from him when you get the peace
[01:06:34] of God comes into your heart let's put
[01:06:36] a Colossians 3 15 year old there's no
[01:06:40] way I'm getting through this today
[01:06:41] there's no way but you have to know the
[01:06:48] voice of the Lord and this is something
[01:06:49] so pastor Dean I don't know that I ever
[01:06:51] have I have people tell me that I got
[01:06:54] to tell my wife a long time ago we first
[01:06:58] got married she tried to tell me one
[01:06:59] time I just don't hear God I just don't
[01:07:02] hear God and I was like yes you do
[01:07:04] she's like no I don't and I was like
[01:07:07] and then of course like in the weeks of
[01:07:09] fall she'd be like I feel like
[01:07:11] something's going over this one that's
[01:07:14] going on this and she'd be right dead on
[01:07:16] her she'd have a dream and it'd be just
[01:07:18] nail something and I'm like babe don't
[01:07:21] you realize you're hearing him all the
[01:07:23] time about stuff and sometimes again
[01:07:27] it's so subtle sometimes and it's so
[01:07:29] quiet that we we kind of just push it
[01:07:34] to the side and think that it's
[01:07:36] nothing but God that's thinking about
[01:07:39] the Holy Spirit he's he's like that's
[01:07:42] why the symbol he's the symbol of a
[01:07:43] dub rep representing think about it if a
[01:07:46] dub if it if we walked outside a dove
[01:07:48] landed right there and if we wanted that
[01:07:49] dove to stay there you're not gonna make
[01:07:51] any sudden movements you're not gonna
[01:07:54] make any sudden noises because what is
[01:07:57] a dove gentle right and that's the
[01:08:01] thing about the Holy Spirit these
[01:08:03] people tell me that they cannot control
[01:08:05] themselves like I'm okay I've seen
[01:08:07] people shake cry fall to the floor
[01:08:11] under the power of God it's real and
[01:08:13] I've seen people who do it every service
[01:08:20] and then you got to go okay and then if
[01:08:24] I hear I can't control it that's not the
[01:08:28] Holy Spirit because you can resist the
[01:08:29] Holy Spirit you can quench the Holy
[01:08:30] Spirit you can say no in fact there are
[01:08:33] times I remember I went I went when the
[01:08:35] open vision that I had in 1987 October
[01:08:39] when I saw the heaven open I mean I
[01:08:40] was wide awake and I God let me see
[01:08:43] into heaven I had to tell him the power
[01:08:47] of God was running through me y'all heard
[01:08:50] me say this it was running through me
[01:08:53] surging through me like like I took hold
[01:08:56] of a live electrical wire except there
[01:08:59] was no pain it was just power just
[01:09:01] power it was so much power that I
[01:09:03] thought Jesus was coming back and I
[01:09:06] had to tell the Lord I can't take
[01:09:09] anymore not that it was painful I just
[01:09:11] knew I was about to be out and you know
[01:09:14] what when I said I can't take you know
[01:09:15] what the Lord did he's off and I
[01:09:20] remember one time I went to the
[01:09:21] Brownsville revival and I got prayed
[01:09:23] for Steve Hill the evangelist went down
[01:09:25] to actually he'd never even got his
[01:09:26] hand on me he walked down off the
[01:09:28] platform and reached toward me and I
[01:09:30] was about far away and I flew
[01:09:32] backwards the holy power of the Holy
[01:09:34] Spirit hit me I flew backwards and hit
[01:09:36] the floor nobody caught me and I
[01:09:40] remember the glory of God I could
[01:09:42] feel the glory of God in the presence
[01:09:44] of God just this peace and warmth and
[01:09:46] like there's a warm blanket on you and
[01:09:49] I was just laying there and I and I and
[01:09:51] I laid there for a second and I started
[01:09:53] to get up because the spirit of the
[01:09:57] Prophet subject of the Prophet meaning
[01:09:58] God's not he's not making me stay
[01:10:02] there I had a choice I controlled it
[01:10:04] whether I and this is what I heard the
[01:10:06] Holy Spirit say to me he said why
[01:10:08] don't you just be still for a minute
[01:10:09] and I mean I had started to give so I
[01:10:14] laid back down right in the middle of
[01:10:16] Brownsville assembly of God right in the
[01:10:18] middle aisle and I laid there and as I
[01:10:23] laid there and just talked to the Lord
[01:10:25] me and him and I wasn't liking some
[01:10:28] weird trance or something I'm just he
[01:10:30] said be still so I lay well let me tell
[01:10:32] what happened the longer I laid there
[01:10:34] the heavier the anointing and presence
[01:10:40] of God got on me in fact the word for
[01:10:42] the glory of God in Hebrew is kabald
[01:10:44] and it means heaviness like heavy not
[01:10:48] heaviness as in sadness but weightiness
[01:10:50] and his glory I mean I'm gonna tell you
[01:10:54] it felt like the best thing in the world
[01:10:58] just to the point that I was there for
[01:11:02] an hour there's thousands of people walk
[01:11:06] it all around I mean this was a
[01:11:09] Saturday night so it's like one in the
[01:11:10] morning they start flipping the lights
[01:11:12] on and off like y'all got to get out
[01:11:13] now by this time I had sat there and
[01:11:16] laid in the presence of God the
[01:11:17] manifest glory of God on me for an hour
[01:11:20] to the point now I was literally drunk
[01:11:23] in the spirit meaning I couldn't get up
[01:11:26] because it felt like I'd had you know
[01:11:29] several shots of of alcohol there
[01:11:33] because he says my love is better than
[01:11:35] why and it is I remember the night the
[01:11:38] day the Lord told me that she was my
[01:11:40] wife and we were walking around stinky
[01:11:42] park and in Georgia and Bradford
[01:11:50] pear trees they stink and it was and
[01:11:53] we're walking around this park and and
[01:11:54] I'm walking with her and the presence
[01:11:58] of God comes on me see this is again
[01:11:59] how did I know I was scared to get
[01:12:01] married again and here the Lord's telling
[01:12:05] me as I'm walking with her and we're
[01:12:06] talking about other things we're just
[01:12:08] talking along but the Holy Spirit saw
[01:12:11] me and he's getting stronger stronger
[01:12:13] stronger and then I don't know what
[01:12:18] laugh we had been around she was a
[01:12:21] walker that man and the Lord told me
[01:12:25] she was my wife and I mean let me tell
[01:12:27] you I was drunk in the spirit and the
[01:12:31] Lord brought that verse to me your love
[01:12:33] is better than wine and and it was that
[01:12:36] that strong presence and witness of the
[01:12:40] Holy Spirit with his voice because he
[01:12:43] knew I needed to know for sure about
[01:12:46] getting married and then the Lord did
[01:12:50] similar with her so what I'm saying is
[01:12:55] is that God as Christians God wants us
[01:12:58] to live and walk this way all the time
[01:13:02] we shouldn't decide who we're going to
[01:13:05] marry on our own we shouldn't decide
[01:13:07] where we're going to work we shouldn't
[01:13:09] decide where we're going to go to
[01:13:10] church we shouldn't decide we should be
[01:13:13] seeking God about everything that's why
[01:13:17] you guys you know I know the Bible says
[01:13:19] and the multitude of counselors their
[01:13:21] safety and there is and it's good to
[01:13:23] get counsel but ultimately every
[01:13:25] individual person is responsible to make
[01:13:28] sure you hear the Lord yourself and you
[01:13:34] check it by the scriptures and
[01:13:37] sometimes you have to put those things
[01:13:39] you hear on the back burner and let God
[01:13:40] confirm them miss things I think the
[01:13:44] Lord's telling me now for me to do in
[01:13:46] the future but I'm like ah that one's
[01:13:48] going on the back burner and said it
[01:13:50] don't simmer we're gonna wait and see
[01:13:52] and you know what the Lord's good
[01:13:55] about if if if it's him he will confirm
[01:13:59] it multiple ways he'll bring people to
[01:14:02] confirm it he'll give you a dream and
[01:14:06] what I'm saying he'll heal he will let
[01:14:09] you know so that you can be sure you're
[01:14:12] not doing it of your own mind and your
[01:14:15] own thoughts or your own desires and I'll
[01:14:19] tell you a good thing you know it's
[01:14:20] like usually when you don't want to do
[01:14:22] something at all and the Lord's like
[01:14:25] this is what I wanted you to do pretty
[01:14:28] good sign but if it's something that you
[01:14:32] might want to do you better check
[01:14:34] yourself before you wreck yourself right
[01:14:36] better make sure and there's things I
[01:14:39] said on the back burner I made I made
[01:14:42] a mistake one time let me tell you I
[01:14:43] made a mistake because I felt like the
[01:14:46] Lord I felt like I was supposed to go
[01:14:48] back to Africa in 2006 but there was
[01:14:51] there was so much turmoil at that
[01:14:53] time in my life and I remember when I
[01:14:58] was on the phone this is my second
[01:15:00] trip to Nigeria that I almost didn't make
[01:15:01] it back from and I remember on the phone
[01:15:04] when I'm buying the ticket and I
[01:15:08] remember talking to the travel agent and
[01:15:10] I was talking to the people in Nigeria
[01:15:12] and I was buying the ticket I had that
[01:15:17] heavy feeling come on me like not time
[01:15:22] to go and sure enough I almost didn't
[01:15:28] come home from that one because I got
[01:15:31] there airports and turmoil Muslims
[01:15:36] taking trying to take over the north of
[01:15:39] Nigeria Nigeria is like two countries
[01:15:41] north and south and I was supposed to go
[01:15:44] the south but you got to fly into the
[01:15:45] north and it's dangerous and that's
[01:15:49] when I got taken and held in a little
[01:15:53] jail cell for 12 hours pulled out crisp
[01:15:57] hundred-dollar bills to bribe them just
[01:16:00] let me through no they wouldn't even
[01:16:02] look at me like oh this that's not good
[01:16:05] because one US dollars 134 there's back
[01:16:08] then and I remember going now where am I
[01:16:12] doing God got me out of there I mean you
[01:16:15] know they marched me out in the darkness
[01:16:16] with ak-47s and I thought well this
[01:16:19] could be it three soldiers they're their
[01:16:24] officer their commander two soldiers with
[01:16:26] ak-47s marching me out into the
[01:16:29] darkness we're going out and empty
[01:16:31] hangers out in the Legos International
[01:16:34] Airport it's dark and ain't nobody out
[01:16:36] there and it was nighttime as midnight
[01:16:39] and then the door opens and I see a KLM
[01:16:43] Dutch airplane out there I'm like I hope
[01:16:47] they're either about to shoot me in the
[01:16:49] head or put me on that airplane I don't
[01:16:50] know which one it is and we walked up
[01:16:54] to that airplane they said all they said
[01:16:55] to me the whole 12 hours go and that's
[01:17:02] when I went up and sat down in first
[01:17:03] class on a Dutch airline and flew back
[01:17:06] through the Amsterdam Atlanta but that
[01:17:11] right there I should have never went but
[01:17:15] God had mercy on my stupidity not
[01:17:20] listening I'll tell you that that right
[01:17:22] there that witness I know this right
[01:17:25] here let the peace of God rule your
[01:17:26] hearts this scripture the word rule
[01:17:30] there is the gives the idea and the
[01:17:35] Greek language of an umpire that calls
[01:17:36] something safe or out and Paul had
[01:17:39] this when the woman with divination came
[01:17:41] and remember she was saying these men are
[01:17:42] servants of the Most High God in Acts
[01:17:44] 16 and it said Paul being grieved in his
[01:17:47] spirit because she had done this many
[01:17:48] days there's this in your spirit right
[01:17:51] here you'll feel it it's not your
[01:17:53] physical heart but you will feel right
[01:17:55] here sometimes a heavy bad almost
[01:17:59] pressing crush it's not a heart attack
[01:18:01] but you'll just feel this like
[01:18:03] heaviness come over you and a pressing
[01:18:05] and it's like it's your spirit being
[01:18:07] grieved and it's warning you and it's
[01:18:09] that umpire saying this situation or
[01:18:11] this person or this thing you're about
[01:18:14] to do is not good and then but then if
[01:18:18] the if you're about to do something
[01:18:20] you're praying about God's will and
[01:18:21] in this peace from God comes over you I
[01:18:24] call it the red light green light some
[01:18:28] people call it the wit just the simple
[01:18:30] witness of the Holy Spirit and say he
[01:18:33] don't have to say words to you every
[01:18:35] time I've listened to that yes or no
[01:18:38] it's been right every time I have it
[01:18:42] listen and went ahead when I got warned
[01:18:44] bad every time but God wants us to be
[01:18:51] like that he don't have it's just like
[01:18:53] you know sometimes parents with children
[01:18:55] don't we say this to our children
[01:18:56] especially after they grow up a little
[01:18:57] bit I'm tired of saying the same thing
[01:18:59] over and over over again I'm tired of
[01:19:01] talking to you you should just know by
[01:19:04] the look on my face now my girls did
[01:19:09] know by the look of my face ain't no
[01:19:11] hiding here I remember looking at them
[01:19:16] my older girls one time who they knew

[01:19:30] this is how powerful this is how clear
[01:19:32] and powerful the Lord wants you hearing
[01:19:34] from me my my oldest daughter Caitlin and
[01:19:40] I don't mind telling this story because
[01:19:43] she's still a rebel but this is what
[01:19:45] God tried to do to bring her out of
[01:19:47] it 2012 she's graduates from Southern
[01:19:51] Union she's dating a guy that went to

[01:20:18] I'm not being mean I'm just telling you
[01:20:24] she comes to me this is my she was 19
[01:20:28] at the time she comes to me and tells
[01:20:31] me she is moving to Chicago to live with
[01:20:34] this guy not to marry him but to live in
[01:20:36] sin with this guy and the Holy Spirit
[01:20:40] comes all over me and I said well I
[01:20:42] have something to tell you I said and
[01:20:45] this is the Lord I told I said number
[01:20:47] one he doesn't love you number two he
[01:20:51] doesn't want to have children and
[01:20:52] number three he is a closet
[01:20:55] homosexual this is what the Holy Spirit
[01:20:59] told my daughter was so angry with me
[01:21:03] she cussed me using the effort now I
[01:21:08] told her at that time I said if you were
[01:21:10] 19 year old boy you'd be picking yourself
[01:21:12] up off the ground so she rebels she
[01:21:19] moves to Chicago to live with this guy
[01:21:21] and I think it was two three years she
[01:21:24] was there now this is sad she still
[01:21:29] hadn't learned her lesson but this is
[01:21:31] sad but everything happened she got there
[01:21:35] she found out he didn't love oh and I
[01:21:37] told yeah he didn't love her wouldn't
[01:21:39] marry her she thought she they were gonna
[01:21:42] get married he didn't marry her said I
[01:21:46] don't want to get married then as
[01:21:48] they're living together for a while
[01:21:49] don't want to have children and then
[01:21:52] the final straw she finally she catches
[01:21:56] him in his homosexual activities with his
[01:22:01] buddies now does she call dad and say
[01:22:06] dad you heard from the Lord Jesus let
[01:22:13] me come home from the pig pen mm-hmm she
[01:22:18] tells my middle daughter Bethany the
[01:22:20] whole story and says these words don't
[01:22:23] tell dad because dad will say he hears
[01:22:31] from God and warned you she still will
[01:22:36] not talk to me because the last time I
[01:22:38] text her we had a little tiff I
[01:22:41] reminded her I said you're still angry
[01:22:44] about that and that was the Lord
[01:22:47] supernaturally speaking to you through
[01:22:50] me and telling you everything that was
[01:22:53] going to happen to protect you and I
[01:22:59] said it was to protect you from all of
[01:23:02] that hurt and pain that brought into
[01:23:04] your life and all of that darkness it
[01:23:05] brought into your life still to this
[01:23:08] day she will will not discuss it well
[01:23:15] you got to be stubborn that's what we
[01:23:18] should have named her shouldn't have
[01:23:18] been Caitlin should be stubborn now I
[01:23:22] love I love them I'm praying for both of
[01:23:25] them but that's how that's how God wants
[01:23:29] us to be he wants us to be discerning
[01:23:31] and listen speaking the truth to somebody
[01:23:35] is not always going to be what's nice
[01:23:37] and sweet and comfortable sometimes it's
[01:23:39] going to be here's what's going to
[01:23:41] happen and you're not going to like
[01:23:42] this I've told some people the Lord's
[01:23:46] had me tell some people if you don't
[01:23:48] repent if you don't fix this if you
[01:23:51] don't deal with this this is going to
[01:23:52] happen to you and it's happened to them
[01:23:54] I mean exactly in detail because it was
[01:23:58] from the Lord so some of what you're
[01:24:01] going to hear sometimes is a warning for
[01:24:02] people God didn't want her going to
[01:24:06] Chicago God didn't want her living with
[01:24:09] that creep and I want to tell you what
[01:24:14] there are people there are people going
[01:24:21] to hear from Lord and just like that
[01:24:22] they're going to still be stubborn and
[01:24:23] then there's people though who are
[01:24:26] going to hear and they're going to know
[01:24:28] it's the Lord and they're going to
[01:24:30] melt and give their lives to Jesus
[01:24:33] just like the woman at the well what I
[01:24:39] could tell you again I could tell you
[01:24:40] story after story about it but you
[01:24:42] need to ask yourself this do I hear his
[01:24:46] voice am I truly surrendered to the
[01:24:50] will of God above everything else have
[01:24:54] I been filled with the Holy Spirit
[01:24:55] baptized in holy but do the gifts of
[01:24:57] the Holy Spirit operate in my life if
[01:25:01] not then you're settling you know
[01:25:06] pastor Dean you may say well I've
[01:25:08] prayed for that but it didn't happen
[01:25:10] you better keep praying you see
[01:25:14] sometimes the Lord says you know what
[01:25:17] I'm going to see if they're serious
[01:25:18] about this so he holds back he doesn't
[01:25:21] always answer immediately he doesn't
[01:25:23] always give us what we want when we
[01:25:24] want sometimes he wants to see how bad
[01:25:26] we want it and that's why back in my
[01:25:31] younger days I remember back in my
[01:25:33] younger days when I was like all I
[01:25:34] want to do is be led by the Holy
[01:25:35] Spirit here and do your will for my
[01:25:37] life and so I would fast 21 days when
[01:25:39] that no food 21 day I fasted 14 days
[01:25:43] I fasted seven day I fasted myself
[01:25:46] down to 160 pounds I'm not saying
[01:25:52] anybody should do that I'm just
[01:25:53] telling you that's where I was I was
[01:25:55] like Lord I'm gonna fast and pray I
[01:25:57] want to be a person that hears your
[01:25:59] voice I want to see people healed and
[01:26:03] delivered from demons I want to see the
[01:26:07] real Christianity in and through my life
[01:26:09] and you know what man I came out of that
[01:26:13] 21 day fast and walked up to a deaf
[01:26:16] woman and prayed for her and knew her
[01:26:20] hearing was coming back and it did I
[01:26:21] pray for a crippled woman in Montgomery
[01:26:27] Mary Elizabeth crippled for two years in
[01:26:32] a wheelchair and this I'll tell you
[01:26:35] this what's different anybody can walk
[01:26:37] up to somebody and say rise up and walk
[01:26:40] in the name of Jesus it may or may not
[01:26:41] happen but I can tell you this when
[01:26:43] the Lord tells you to lay hands on
[01:26:44] somebody and say tell them I said for
[01:26:46] them to rise up and walk in the name of
[01:26:48] Jesus that's what happened I was
[01:26:50] praying for her and the Holy Spirit
[01:26:52] spoke to me the Lord said tell her I
[01:26:54] said for her not you saying tell her I
[01:26:57] said for her to rise up and more I said
[01:27:00] Jesus tells me to tell you he said not
[01:27:03] me he said for you to rise up and walk
[01:27:05] and she stood up and her knees
[01:27:08] completely healed instantly and she's
[01:27:12] walking to this day the the that
[01:27:15] miracle went all over Montgomery that's
[01:27:17] why Tom Parker started coming to my
[01:27:19] Bible study back in 1993 because he
[01:27:22] heard about that but it wasn't me it
[01:27:29] was because I could you could bring 15
[01:27:32] 20 people in here in a wheelchair and I
[01:27:35] could just pray over them but I can't do
[01:27:37] anything unless God moves but if God
[01:27:39] starts speaking he's gonna start
[01:27:41] moving and it happened at Skyfall with
[01:27:45] that woman who was on her deathbed they
[01:27:49] were I mean she could hardly walk and
[01:27:50] I remember praying for her and I the
[01:27:53] Lord told me cast two demons out of her
[01:27:55] and she's testified to you right now
[01:27:57] she was about at death's door had to
[01:28:01] lay down on the seats couldn't even walk
[01:28:03] up to the altar and I remember the Lord
[01:28:07] said cast two demons out of her cast out
[01:28:09] of her the spirit of addiction and the
[01:28:11] spirit of death and I bound those
[01:28:14] demons and commanded them come out and
[01:28:16] then I heard the Lord say tell her to
[01:28:18] rise up healed tell her I said for her
[01:28:22] to rise up and I said the Lord said to
[01:28:24] you for you to rise up healed in Jesus
[01:28:25] name and I'm gonna tell you what she
[01:28:27] was laying on the seats boop popped
[01:28:29] up like a jack-in-the-box that's
[01:28:31] like kind of startled me and then I
[01:28:34] said this is a woman that could not
[01:28:36] hardly stand up I said can you stand
[01:28:38] stood right up I said well can you walk
[01:28:42] with me she took my walk back to the
[01:28:44] back of the room and then she just took
[01:28:46] off and left me and she'll tell you to
[01:28:49] stay her her I mean she was dying from
[01:28:52] years of alcohol and drug addiction she
[01:28:56] said she she talked she sent me a
[01:28:58] message of the day she said even my
[01:29:00] skin is cleared up she's like I'm an
[01:29:04] I'm a completely different person so see
[01:29:09] the Lord can do anything it's about and
[01:29:11] then sometimes it's about us hearing what
[01:29:13] do I need to change in my life maybe
[01:29:17] the Lord wants you to change something
[01:29:18] so he can do something else in your
[01:29:23] life I remember the Lord told me when I
[01:29:26] had to deal with unforgiveness you
[01:29:30] want to talk about something that'll
[01:29:30] get in your way oh and it may be
[01:29:34] legitimate hurt you were wronged and
[01:29:37] you were legitimately hurt they hurt
[01:29:41] you they wronged you the Lord said
[01:29:45] you must forgive from the heart and
[01:29:48] not hold it against them and not be
[01:29:50] desiring ill will and revenge and bad
[01:29:52] things that happen to them the Lord to
[01:29:56] get them sometimes you're not gonna get
[01:30:03] anything unless you you deal with
[01:30:05] unforgiveness and sometimes it can be
[01:30:08] from parents that hurt you sibling your
[01:30:15] best friend well let me tell you I've
[01:30:19] been stabbed in the back by people I
[01:30:20] considered my closest friends I mean
[01:30:26] stabbed and twisted you got to forgive
[01:30:31] them right it doesn't mean you have to
[01:30:38] turn you back to them again but you got
[01:30:40] to forgive them your homework read a
[01:30:46] book of Acts before next Sunday it's
[01:30:50] only 28 chapters come on do that in a
[01:30:52] week all right you'll you'll be ready

[01:32:02] again speak to me again show me
[01:32:03] something show me something that's
[01:32:05] going to show somebody you're real show

[01:32:10] somebody's heart and make the tears
[01:32:11] come down their face and them know
[01:32:13] that they're loved and they're cared
[01:32:15] about and that God has a plan for their

[01:37:30] of the scriptures about where to work
[01:37:31] or go to church or like you have to
[01:37:34] reveal those things speak those things
[01:37:36] confirm those things yes warnings
[01:37:38] you're gonna give us about things in
[01:37:40] the days ahead and we need to heed
[01:37:44] those warnings and we pray this in

[01:37:51] warning one time I didn't heed I got
[01:37:54] the evidence of it I went to a certain
[01:37:58] dentist in Montgomery back in the day
[01:38:00] and I I was like I had this horrible
[01:38:04] feeling like don't go here should have
[01:38:08] listened cuz that woman drilled down too
[01:38:12] far in a tooth and killed the tooth
[01:38:15] but then just covered up her error so
[01:38:18] it took several years before we found
[01:38:20] out that it was dead and right before I
[01:38:23] went to Africa actually the first time
[01:38:24] had to have a root canal and they said
[01:38:29] he said had you gone to Africa with
[01:38:31] this you would be in the middle of a
[01:38:33] big infection and I was like I didn't
[01:38:38] listen so it's that important on small
[01:38:44] things you hear me when when after I
[01:38:49] took all the vaccines to go to Africa
[01:38:51] in 2002 and came back with the autoimmune
[01:38:55] psoriatic arthritis I remember they
[01:39:00] prescribed for me Vioxx and Celebrex and
[01:39:03] the Holy Spirit said do not take these
[01:39:09] and it wasn't but about a year later
[01:39:12] they had to be pulled off the market
[01:39:14] about a year or two later because they
[01:39:16] were causing strokes and heart attacks
[01:39:17] in fact Vioxx is one of the biggest
[01:39:21] pharmaceutical disasters in history they
[01:39:26] paid billions over that one but I mean
[01:39:29] think I think how rare it is for them
[01:39:30] have to pull one off the market and I
[01:39:34] was about to be pumping it down so you
[01:39:36] got to listen you got to listen on
[01:39:40] everything
