[00:07:45] See, that's the difference between real Christianity and what I'll call dead religious Christianity

[00:07:59] Even though it's a storm and even it's a little scary out there
[00:08:01] And even though I've never seen anybody walk on water except I'm seeing this but I'm thinking it's a spirit
[00:08:07] But Jesus said to him, you know, come on out here and Peter got up and stepped over that that boat out of that boat
[00:08:14] And walked on the water. That's real Christianity when you step out of the boat
[00:08:19] But see that's the place where the miracles are. That's the place where the supernatural
[00:08:25] Revelation of Jesus is and you got to have that there's that's why look like I said, I don't care how many atheist agnostics
[00:08:32] You name it try to talk me out of Jesus being real and the Bible being true. It's impossible
[00:08:39] You know why because I stepped out of the boat long time ago. I stepped out of the boat
[00:08:43] I've been walking with him in a real relationship hearing his voice seeing his miracles
[00:08:49] And you can never talk me out of it. There's no reasoning. There's no arguments you can bring. I've met him

[00:08:58] I am what the Bible calls a born-again Christian
[00:09:03] Filled with the Holy Spirit not perfect not sinless
[00:09:07] But not trying to live in sin not trying to indulge sin and trying
[00:09:14] My best to walk in the truth of God's Word sound doctrine
[00:09:20] And if you do those things the Lord promised and this is in fact, let's turn there. We're gonna start there
[00:09:26] we'll be in a lot of scripture this moment go to
[00:09:29] Go to John the gospel of John chapter 14 because this verse is just coming to me
[00:09:34] How important this is this morning as we get into this message?
[00:09:39] John 14 and of course all of John 14 is good
[00:09:47] And we're gonna go down. This is Jesus speaking to his disciples here and he says verse 21. Let's go down to verse 21
[00:09:58] He said he that hath my commandments and keepeth them
[00:10:04] he it is that love is me and
[00:10:08] he that love is me shall be loved of my father and I will love him and will manifest myself to him and
[00:10:15] Judas sayeth unto him and this was not Judas Iscariot
[00:10:18] But Judas sayeth unto him Lord
[00:10:20] How is it that thou will manifest thyself unto us and not unto the world and Jesus answered and said unto him?
[00:10:26] If a man loved me, he will keep my words and my father will love him and we will come unto him and make our abode
[00:10:34] With him he that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings and the word which you hear is not mine
[00:10:40] But the father which sent me
[00:10:42] So the Lord is very clear here and what's interesting go back to verse 21 when it says
[00:10:47] He that hath my commandments and he that keepeth them those two verbs hath and keepeth are
[00:10:54] In the Greek present tense Greek or verbs which a present tense Greek verb means ongoing
[00:11:01] Continuous action that's taking place in the present
[00:11:03] So Jesus saying those who continue to walk with me obey me keep my words and let me tell you what that means
[00:11:10] Keep my words means to keep his word in
[00:11:14] Context to keep his word in sound biblical doctrine because we're gonna talk about that how important that is
[00:11:20] But the Christian must have two things we must have the Holy Spirit leading us and guiding us into all truth
[00:11:28] Right and we must be willing to go there and the scriptures are vitally important how we see them
[00:11:35] how we understand them because there are many false brethren and
[00:11:40] False teachers and false prophets that are just I mean when when the Lord said many I
[00:11:47] Thought I knew what that meant
[00:11:50] over the last few years
[00:11:52] that has become
[00:11:54] So true and so real
[00:11:57] That it's almost wears me out having to deal with them all the time
[00:12:01] Because I find myself most of my time is having to deal with false brother and false teachers false prophets who are trying to teach
[00:12:09] And promote their false doctrine. We had one come in the last two weeks. I
[00:12:14] Just sent him out the door
[00:12:16] And told him not to come back and we're gonna I'm gonna show you some of the insanity
[00:12:19] He was trying to bring in here, but he came in as a sweet little brother
[00:12:24] Wanting to pray for people that were sick. Oh, he believed in healing and he oh
[00:12:30] He prophesied some things that were accurate and then come to find out
[00:12:35] He was here with some not just
[00:12:38] false doctrine, but
[00:12:40] extreme crazy false doctrine
[00:12:43] When I confronted him and said hey, we need to slow down
[00:12:46] You don't need to be laying hands on people yet. We don't know you enough. I need to get to know you a little better
[00:12:51] I kind of broke my rule a little bit, but I learned a lesson here again
[00:12:56] We got to learn the lesson that just because somebody claims to be a brother in Christ and because they seem to be sweet
[00:13:02] And even if they operate in a supernatural
[00:13:05] gift or revelation
[00:13:08] Does not mean that they are not a false brother or sister and this is why and how did I find out?
[00:13:15] Well, let me tell you I sent him a nice, you know, y'all think I mean sometimes
[00:13:18] But let me read. Let me read a nice little sweet email. I sent to him cuz I sent a nice sweet email

[00:13:35] But here's what I sent him first. I said Rob. I
[00:13:39] Appreciate your heart wanting to do the will of God and for healing. That's what he was pretending to put out there to everybody

[00:13:47] I said I have really broken my rule by allowing you to lay hands on our church members and pray that
[00:13:52] With for them before getting to know them better
[00:13:55] I see I let his little prophecy that he gave on a Wednesday night
[00:13:58] That was very accurate kind of disarmed me and I've kind of been distracted with some other things
[00:14:03] So here again, this is what I'm telling you. This is how deceitful some of these people can be
[00:14:09] But I said I said look, I'm not saying you're you're a bad person or an evil person
[00:14:14] But we're supposed to know those who labor among us, right? I
[00:14:19] Said and we don't know you well enough yet
[00:14:21] And me allowing this when I have always been more careful has not been a good example to our flock

[00:15:22] But basically his two false doctrines that he believes and wanted to promote
[00:15:27] basically, you want to get in and win our trust and and get in the midst of us and
[00:15:32] Then he wanted to start teaching you probably behind my back his false doctrines, which is what they always do
[00:15:38] They try to slide in and gain
[00:15:41] You know build relationships don't tell you up front what they believe but build these relationships
[00:15:47] And get confidence in and then they start behind my back trying to teach a little group here and there about their little
[00:15:55] False doctrines and I'll have to say he the demons that he has of divination and the demon spirits
[00:16:01] I call seducing spirits in the spirit of air the Bible talks about seducing spirits in the spirit of air
[00:16:07] They are very very slick, but he is very good at
[00:16:12] Twisting the scriptures to mean what he wants them to me, but basically the two doctrines he came in with

[00:16:50] No one's going to hell and if you go well, if you go to hell you end up getting out and get everything's

[00:16:56] Universal salvation that the damnation of hell and that's not his channel the total victory

[00:17:42] This is one of the sins that will definitely put you in eternal damnation about taking the mark of the beast which is coming very soon

[00:17:51] This isn't a third angel follow them saying with a loud voice if any man worshiped the beast in his image and receive
[00:17:56] His mark in his forehead or in his hand
[00:17:59] The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation
[00:18:04] And shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the lamb
[00:18:09] How long how long should this happen?
[00:18:11] The smoke of their torment ascended up forever and ever and they have no rest
[00:18:16] Day nor night who worshiped the beast in his image and whosoever received at the mark of his name. I
[00:18:22] Want you to understand this the doctrine of eternal damnation of eternal hell
[00:18:29] Eternal punishment Jesus taught this doctrine and the Apostles continued teaching this doctrine and this is a
[00:18:36] foundational doctrine of
[00:18:38] Jesus Christ the Apostles and the New Testament Church
[00:18:42] This is not a creation of Roman Catholicism or neither
[00:18:45] They actually perverted it creating purgatory and all this other nonsense
[00:18:49] Bottom line is this is a sound
[00:18:53] Biblical doctrine that's been established, but there are a lot of people including this Rob character
[00:18:59] Who are trying to they get into some of the Greek word definitions and and they begin to try to twist these things

[00:19:35] Christians washed in the blood of Jesus our sins are forgiven and we've walked walking faithful with the Lord and we died the Bible says
[00:19:42] To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord immediately
[00:19:46] Our spirit and soul goes to heaven our body goes into the grave and sleeps
[00:19:51] Until the resurrection and when the body is raised up and the spirit soul and body will be
[00:19:56] Reunite it and we'll be given an immortal incorruptible body at that point, but if you are not
[00:20:03] walking with Jesus Christ if you are walking in sin and rebellion and habitual indulgence in wickedness or
[00:20:11] Unbelief the Bible is clear that those on the left hand the goats
[00:20:16] There's the sheep and goats the sheep are the born-again Christians
[00:20:20] The goats are the ones who are not or who are not walking faithfully with the Lord. It says these will go into
[00:20:27] Eternal punishment in fact put up the last verses in Matthew 25 so everybody can see this

[00:20:37] Now, what does he say Matthew 25 then shall the kingdom of heaven be like an entity?

[00:20:58] The two the one that had the five it was faithful did what he was supposed to do the two
[00:21:03] Guy had two talents. He did what he's supposed to do the one that had one went in hid didn't do anything with his Lord's
[00:21:09] Money his provision and what happened? He said when the Lord came and reckoned with him
[00:21:14] He said take that wicked and slawful servant and cast him in outer darkness
[00:21:18] So should be weeping in national teeth now you go on he tells the parable of the sheep and the goats
[00:21:21] But go down to the end of verse of chapter 25
[00:21:26] Keep on going all the way to the bottom there. Yeah right there. He says keep on going. There's a little bit more

[00:24:47] To identify fornication. It seems good to the Holy Spirit
[00:24:50] So we can't sit here and just because we're not comfortable with something rejected when God accepts it. That's my point

[00:27:17] They're saying the doctrine of eternal hell eternal punishment. Oh, that's just terrible. How could you teach that?

[00:28:32] God is loved Jesus loves everybody and everybody's gonna go to heaven when they die and I said really I said
[00:28:39] So you believe that even Hitler is gonna go to heaven, you know, the one that tortured and gassed people and killed millions of people

[00:28:49] Polpot I said you believe these people are gonna go to heaven. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Let me tell you what happened though
[00:28:54] I said, well, let me ask you another question. So you think these people gonna go to heaven

[00:29:03] Boy, let me tell you about half of them said oh, no, those people are going straight to hell

[00:30:33] Influence in a powerful way ten thousand people in their lifetime. That's an introvert. So those of you would like to talk
[00:30:41] Y'all are gonna influence way more than ten thousand people in your lifetime. So what what happens Jesus said this

[00:30:51] Or you're scattering abroad. I love what the great evangelist Charles Finney said about he said that everything you do and say

[00:31:02] This is why Jesus said that we will be judged not just by our deeds how we live
[00:31:09] He said but by every idle word that's come out of our mouths because our words and actions
[00:31:15] Influence others and we are either causing people to stumble and end up going to hell or we are causing people to at least
[00:31:23] See Jesus see the gospel see the Word of God in truth, and we are we are pushing them toward heaven

[00:31:40] You know in Ezekiel Ezekiel 3 Ezekiel 18 Ezekiel 30 33 the all those chapters in Ezekiel

[00:31:48] He says he says if I say to the righteous that the righteous sin not but if a righteous man turns from his righteousness
[00:31:53] And commits iniquity and I lay a stumbling block before him

[00:41:02] Conversation, which that's the old English way of saying in your behavior in
[00:41:06] Charity or love in spirit in faith in purity. What is purity? He's talking about moral purity and doctrinal purity
[00:41:14] And he says neglect not the gift that is in thee which was given thee by prophecy with the laying on of hands of the
[00:41:19] Presbyterian so don't neglect the supernatural power and gifts of the Holy Spirit which many churches do many pastors do
[00:41:26] Then he says meditate upon these things give thyself
[00:41:29] Holy or completely to them that thy profiting may appear to all take heed unto thyself and unto the doctrine
[00:41:37] Continue in them for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself and them that hear thee now

[00:42:51] other things they did to him to try to kill him, but God just kept keeping him alive until
[00:42:58] He finally was released by the Emperor Domitian and was sent back and was allowed to go back to the church of Ephesus
[00:43:04] Which he pastored at the end of his life
[00:43:07] And that's when he you know, he discipled Polycarp Polycarp
[00:43:12] Irenaeus and they passed the baton just like Paul but passed the baton to Timothy
[00:43:18] But John writing here in toward the end of his life
[00:43:21] He said for many deceivers are entered into the world who confess not that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh
[00:43:26] This is a deceiver and an antichrist. So he was dealing with a certain particular false teaching of
[00:43:32] The Gnostics that said Jesus or God did not come in the flesh and this was a serious
[00:43:37] False doctrine, but he said look to yourselves that we lose not those things which we have wrought but that we receive a full reward
[00:43:46] Whosoever transgresseth and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ hath not God
[00:43:52] He that abideth in the doctrine or the teaching of Christ
[00:43:55] He hath both the father and the son if there come any unto you and bring not this doctrine receive him not into your
[00:44:01] House neither bid him Godspeed for him that biddeth him
[00:44:04] Godspeed is partaker of his evil deeds
[00:44:07] So you're not to tolerate false doctrine, but he notice he says very clearly. Let's go back to that

[00:44:16] Whosoever transgresses that means to
[00:44:19] Sin against that means to commit a crime against transgression
[00:44:25] Willful right what he's talking about he that does that and does not abide in the doctrine or the teaching of Jesus Christ

[00:44:39] So the person that denies eternal conscious torment that held that's the doctrine that Jesus taught me Luke 16
[00:44:46] Matthew 25 is what Jesus clearly taught so if you deny that you do not have God and
[00:44:54] Nor are you to bless this person or help this person or wish them well?
[00:45:00] You're to cut them off
[00:45:02] You see there's these people like a lot of the Torah movement out there believes that they don't believe Jesus Christ is God in the
[00:45:11] That he's the fullness of the Godhead bodily. They don't believe that that's a damnable heresy
[00:45:19] You get off into that error you can end up in hell for eternity separated from God for all eternity
[00:45:25] You think you can have multiple wives?
[00:45:29] And think it's not adultery and fornication
[00:45:34] Especially the new covenant is very clear husband of one wife
[00:45:40] Any man that wants two of them. I don't know
[00:45:43] What's wrong with him?
[00:45:47] Most men can't handle one
[00:45:50] Can't can't learn to to live with one according to the way the Bible says and then too
[00:45:56] And then you put two women in the same house with one man Lord have mercy
[00:46:01] There's a little bit of jealousy that goes on
[00:46:03] We know this from the Mormons and the people have come out of the Mormon Church
[00:46:09] No polygamy is not is not
[00:46:13] Permissible in the new covenant it is not and God didn't want them doing it in the old
[00:46:18] But he said you know and Paul said this about some things that that God just allowed and just didn't
[00:46:24] Didn't deal strongly with in the in the old covenant
[00:46:26] He said you know God winked at these times of this ignorance
[00:46:29] But he said now he commands every man everywhere to repent
[00:46:32] But he did say there's an Old Testament command to the Kings that they were not to multiply wives to themselves
[00:46:38] Yet David disobeyed this and you think about David sin with Bathsheba and David did have
[00:46:44] Several wives and you think about how his sin multiplied in his son you will see a generational curse
[00:46:50] David sin sexual sin and disobeying God to add a few wives to the to the picture
[00:46:56] Solomon took it to a whole new level and actually Solomon had so many wives and concubines
[00:47:05] many of them who were pagan godless wicked people and
[00:47:10] It says that his ungodly pagan wives turned his heart away from the Lord
[00:47:15] So this is why it's so important that you do things according to Scripture and according to the way God wants if not
[00:47:22] It can turn your heart away from God and you can be in serious
[00:47:28] Serious trouble on Judgment Day, but does everybody see that?
[00:47:32] Doctrine is an important issue the teaching in fact
[00:47:36] This this is why we go back to the scripture we started with what did Jesus say he that hath my words and
[00:47:43] Keepeth them. Well, how do I keep them? I don't let people come in and teach me something. That's false and then embrace that I
[00:47:51] Reject the faults and embrace
[00:47:54] What Jesus taught what his apostles taught what his prophets taught what the Word of God teaches? I embrace that

[00:48:05] It's not a suggestion
[00:48:07] You better walk in the doctrines of Christ or you have departed from him
[00:48:16] See he's the word in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God and the word became

[00:48:28] You can't separate the living word Jesus Christ and the written word both
[00:48:36] both of those things the Holy Spirit is going to point you to and
[00:48:40] Lead you in to walk with Jesus in a living

[00:48:47] According to the scriptures. This is absolutely
[00:48:51] Absolutely essential now, let me answer this question and it's not even I mean it's not even 12 o'clock yet

[00:50:01] But the question was asked why does God not just deal with them and I'm gonna give you a couple of passages
[00:50:07] Let's go to first Corinthians
[00:50:12] Chapter 11 verse 19. This is a great question. I love when I get good questions
[00:50:21] And there's two reasons number one here. Listen, it says for there must
[00:50:32] Also, there must be rather also heresies among you that they which are approved may be made manifest among you. Oh
[00:50:40] So what's that talking about the Paul by the Holy Spirit said for there must be heresies among you
[00:50:47] That they which are approved may be made manifest among you. They didn't God says this has to happen. I
[00:50:54] basically have to allow this
[00:50:56] So that it becomes evident who's really walking with me and who's not and notice he says it's based on this
[00:51:07] Do they preach and teach heresy or do they preach and teach the truth of God's Word?
[00:51:12] Rightly dividing the word sound biblical doctrine or are they getting off that path?
[00:51:18] It's real simple, but God says he's basically
[00:51:22] These things have to happen so that those who are approved are made manifest
[00:51:27] They're revealed now the Old Testament put it in a different way. Let's go to Deuteronomy
[00:51:31] But it's the same principle Deuteronomy chapter 13
[00:51:36] Verses 1 through 5. Let's look at what God said here about
[00:51:42] faults
[00:51:43] Why he allows he tells you right here. Why does he allow false prophets and teachers?
[00:51:49] Here's what he says. Let's read it. This is Deuteronomy 13 verses 1 through 5
[00:51:57] If there arise among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams and give it the assign or a wonder and the sign or
[00:52:03] Wonder come to pass which he spake of
[00:52:07] Saying let us go after other gods which thou has not known and let us serve them
[00:52:12] Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams for the Lord your God proveth you
[00:52:19] To know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul
[00:52:23] You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear him and keep his commandments and obey his voice and you shall serve him
[00:52:30] And cleave unto him and that prophet or that dreamer of dreams
[00:52:33] Shall be put to death because he hath spoken
[00:52:36] to turn you away from the Lord your God which brought you out of the land of Egypt and
[00:52:41] Redeemed you out of the house of bondage to thrust thee out of the way of the Lord
[00:52:45] Thy God the way which the Lord thy God commanded thee to walk in so shalt thou put away
[00:52:51] Put the evil away from the midst of thee now

[01:04:51] The judgment of God and the destruction of ungodly men in the last days
[01:04:56] He said but the heavens and the earth which are now by the same word are kept in store reserved unto fire
[01:05:01] Against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men
[01:05:04] But beloved be not ignorant of this one thing that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years and a thousand years
[01:05:10] Is one day that's for the Preterist out there that heresy
[01:05:14] He said the Lord is not slack concerning his promise as some men count slackness
[01:05:19] But his long suffering to us word not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance
[01:05:25] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night in which the heaven shall pass away with a great noise
[01:05:30] And the element shall melt with fervent heat and the earth also in the works that are therein shall be burned up
[01:05:36] Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved. What manner a person's ought you to be an all-holy

[01:06:18] Also as also in all his epistles speaking in them of these things in which some things hard to be understood

[01:06:27] unstable rest now this word rest means to twist to pervert to corrupt as they do also other
[01:06:34] Scriptures unto their own destruction
[01:06:37] You therefore beloved seeing that you know these things beware lest you also being led away with the error of the wicked

[01:06:45] But grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to him be glory both now and forever

[01:06:57] Now let's put it up the word rest. So you see the word rest here. It is Greek dictionary
[01:07:04] and I like that out the outline of Bible usage is just a

[01:07:12] But to twist to turn awry to torture to put to the rack
[01:07:17] To pervert of one who rest or tortures language in a false sense
[01:07:23] You see that there's you can go to Thayer's it says the same thing
[01:07:28] To pervert or of one who rest or tortures language to a false sense. So there you see it
[01:07:34] in two Greek lexicons
[01:07:37] So he was worried now think about Peter
[01:07:40] Second Peter was the book that he wrote in
[01:07:43] By direction and inspiration the Holy Spirit right before he was going to die in a sense. This is Peter's last words
[01:07:52] Before he was to be crucified upside down
[01:07:58] And a man that knows he's about to die
[01:08:00] Is going to tell you what's really important what's really on his heart?
[01:08:03] I love that when you read the last words of David and they give you here's what's important. Here's what I learned from life
[01:08:18] Second Peter is just that it's here's what's important church
[01:08:22] Here's somebody at walk with Jesus for three and a half years who messed up a few times
[01:08:27] Who denied the Lord and cursed and had to repent?
[01:08:31] Who preached the first sermon to the church then got to preach the first sermon to the Gentiles?
[01:08:39] Whose shadow healed the sick when he walked by?
[01:08:44] Well, I love sitting down one day in heaven talking to him Peter. Can we talk a minute? Sure. That's gonna see
[01:08:55] Just that right there alone. Let me see. I got through talking to Peter. Let me go find Paul. Where's Paul?
[01:09:00] I want to talk to him for a little while and you know what?
[01:09:03] There's no time limit because you got all the time you'll ever need

[01:09:15] Do you know how much fun just that's gonna be? But think about sitting down. You'll get to sit down with Jesus
[01:09:24] But the eyes of flame of fire

[01:09:34] It's so strong that I've had to tell him to ease up because I can't my body just can't handle it
[01:09:39] That's why you gotta get a new body

[01:09:43] Not just so it'll live for eternity so it can handle the presence of God without any
[01:09:50] Limit to it. This is why we got to get a body that's like Jesus body because we got to be able to handle
[01:09:57] Being with him in fullness. Somebody say fullness
[01:10:03] You want to be with the devil in fullness or with Jesus in fullness? I tell people all the time
[01:10:11] I say it I say it again. And again, you will end up in the place of the one you follow
[01:10:20] Keep following the devil and say I follow Jesus
[01:10:22] But if your actions say you following the devil guess where you gonna end up if you don't repent
[01:10:29] Say pastor Dean you want them hellfire brimstone preachers. Yes, cuz you know who I follow he was one
[01:10:36] Jesus talked about hell in the New Testament more than anybody else
[01:10:41] Why do you think Jesus?
[01:10:44] Talked about hell as much as he did because he didn't want any any of you to go there. Let me tell you
[01:10:52] You know, I don't get on the road drinking and driving number one because a drunker don't inherit the kingdom of God, right?
[01:11:00] But I've told you all the story of the person I led to the Lord
[01:11:03] In Montgomery on the street like the day before she was gonna go off to college
[01:11:09] Sandy and the Lord told me to go out and talk. There's a big group of young people out there
[01:11:14] You know, they were in the late teens early 20s and they were on skateboards and they were just I mean
[01:11:19] There's about 15 20 of them and I had a Bible study. I had 40 people at my house every Friday night
[01:11:25] they're in Montgomery back in the early 90s and
[01:11:30] Everybody had just arrived
[01:11:31] I'm the one teaching the Bible study and I walked to the door to let the last person in and I look and I see
[01:11:38] These kids all these kids out there and they on my next-door neighbor's house and the Lord tells me go
[01:11:44] To your car get your gospel tracks and go sit down and talk to all of them. I said Lord
[01:11:51] I got all these people here. I'm supposed to teach a Bible study. He said they'll figure it out
[01:11:55] I didn't even tell anybody I walked to my car got my gospel tracks and I went out there and talked to all those young people
[01:12:04] Well, little did I know that's that several of them were gonna die in a fire just a few weeks later
[01:12:10] That's why you obey the Lord number one
[01:12:12] but number two I did pray with a girl who was just in tears and she gave her life to Jesus and
[01:12:20] You know, we had contact after that and tried to disciple her and get her in some good
[01:12:26] Discipleship stuff and then she actually went to the University of Montebello at the time and it was just a little while after that
[01:12:32] That I was working with the college campus ministry
[01:12:34] And we were starting campus ministries all over the country and we went to Montebello to start one
[01:12:39] And so we were having services there. We'd have it every Thursday night
[01:12:43] We'd go and have a meeting in one of the classrooms. We are a group on campus
[01:12:48] And she would come she would come and we during praise and worship and she would just be on fire
[01:12:53] Well, you know, we we moved on and I did and had to go to Boston and Philadelphia and all that I had to do
[01:13:02] work up there and
[01:13:06] Anyway some years past I
[01:13:09] Come back from all that
[01:13:11] 95 God has me start a church in Montgomery and I'm pastoring that then, you know
[01:13:16] While I'm pastoring that church
[01:13:17] God wants me to go preach in Tuttweiler prison and I went used to go down and preach in Ventress and and
[01:13:24] different prisons around and
[01:13:27] I
[01:13:29] Went to Tuttweiler and Tuttweiler. That's the women's prison. The only women's prison in Alabama up in Whittemka and
[01:13:35] Man, they had a chapel seat about 150 and mother men
[01:13:39] They would pack that thing out some of those services in that in Tuttweiler prison some of the most powerful
[01:13:45] Anointed times of ministry I've ever been in in fact this particular night
[01:13:50] I'm preaching to them just people are weeping the presence of God is so strong
[01:13:54] I give an altar call all kind of people come forward
[01:13:57] Ladies give their lives to Jesus and of course because it's women the assistant chaplain
[01:14:03] Lady she would walk with me when I'm praying for people just make sure, you know
[01:14:07] You just protect yourself and nobody say you touch somebody inappropriately or whatever
[01:14:11] So I'm just praying for people laying hands on their head real
[01:14:14] I don't push people I just touch them pray for them and we're going down and people are hitting the floor the presence of God
[01:14:19] Is so strong that particular night that the assistant chaplain just said she said I got to go sit down
[01:14:25] I can't stand up any longer. That's how strong
[01:14:28] And I noticed this young lady short hair
[01:14:32] sitting up on in the front just
[01:14:34] You know as we say in the south snot and she was crying something
[01:14:38] Just right and I'm like I'm looking at her and like what's going on with her and I walk over and I pray for her
[01:14:44] And she looks up at me. She said you don't remember me. Do you this has been about four or five years of past
[01:14:50] And she said I'm it's sandy. I'm like
[01:14:59] Why what are you doing here?
[01:15:01] She said well, I didn't keep walking with Jesus. I
[01:15:07] Started drinking and partying with my friends in college
[01:15:10] And I was drinking and very drunk one night and I hit somebody and killed him
[01:15:15] And she said I woke up. She was in a coma. She was in the hospital for three or four months and think about this
[01:15:22] You're in the hospital for three or four months
[01:15:23] I mean you're in a coma and you wake up and realize that you are half handcuffs on you that you're headed to prison
[01:15:32] To jail and she went to jail and I think her sentence was I don't know it was longer than four years
[01:15:40] I don't know what she got for
[01:15:42] For that but she would she had been in there four years
[01:15:45] And she's tears running down her face and she's crying and she's saying I wish I'd listened to you
[01:15:51] And see this is what I'm talking about
[01:15:55] This it in the game you think oh, it can't happen to me. I'm sure she thought it can't happen to me
[01:16:06] But it did it forever changed her life think about the family that it forever changed
[01:16:16] Sin the wages of sin is death
[01:16:22] Wages if you're gonna live in wickedness and evil and rebellion to God
[01:16:27] You're not gonna walk according to his word and it doesn't matter if you've been born again or not
[01:16:31] You choose either to keep walking with him or you choose to live a lukewarm
[01:16:37] rebellious backslidden sinful life
[01:16:39] But the bottom line is is that there's wages that have to be paid and that your life is going to affect all these people
[01:16:49] How you live and what you teach?
[01:16:52] What you say and that's why I'm just telling you again
[01:16:57] This is not a game. It's for all the marbles
[01:16:59] It's for all eternity and I remember one of the first things I heard when I came back to Jesus at 19
[01:17:06] I heard an old preacher say this he said eternity is too long
[01:17:10] To be wrong
[01:17:11] You better get it right now
[01:17:15] Leonard Ravenhill one of our greatest prophets said that this life is a dressing room for eternity is all it is and you're either
[01:17:22] Gonna put on the Lord Jesus Christ or you're gonna put on the world's garments the devil's garments
[01:17:27] You're gonna put on one of the two
[01:17:30] But I broke up with the devil and gave him back his jacket and his ring and everything else
[01:17:34] I broke up with him and I gave him back his stuff and I moved out of the devil's house and
[01:17:42] I moved into Jesus house and I'm choosing to continue to live in Jesus house. I accept his rules the rules of the house
[01:17:54] Amen
[01:17:55] Y'all know if you kids move in your house, I hope so you like this. They gonna keep your rules
[01:18:01] Mine move in they will keep my rules or they will go to the street. They know that too
[01:18:07] My house my rules Jesus has his house and he has his rules

[01:18:22] Eternity is too long to be wrong, but see these false brethren
[01:18:28] They're dangerous and this is why you must know the Bible for yourself because look if you know

[01:18:39] These have no rest day or night if you know and understand the doctrine of
[01:18:44] Eternal damnation and eternal punishment and somebody comes along said no, no, no, no. No, that's not the way it is. It's really this way

[01:19:43] Christ and the church about the bride and the bridegroom and it says that he cleanses the church
[01:19:47] Listen this by the washing of the water of his word
[01:19:54] You better live and breathe and be washed by this word
[01:20:02] Are you gonna end up lost deceived? You say pastor Dean? Why you preach like this? Why you teach like this?

[01:20:54] That can lead people astray and lead people to hell. I'm not going to allow it

[01:22:30] In fact, the Bible even says Jesus said as many as I love I rebuke and chasing
[01:22:37] Be zealous therefore and repent. That's what he said to the lukewarm Church
[01:22:41] So see a lot of people think my wife would tell you my daughter
[01:22:45] I love y'all. I love people
[01:22:49] I want everybody that I meet that I talked to that maybe I never meet that I hear me preach. I
[01:22:57] Want every single person?
[01:22:59] To know Jesus as their Lord and Savior to go to heaven
[01:23:02] to rule and reign with him in the earthly kingdom that's coming. I
[01:23:08] Want everyone to experience forgiveness and peace and joy and and and find eternal life
[01:23:14] I even my enemies I want that for them
[01:23:17] So as Paul said he said I do these things cuz I love you
[01:23:24] Not cuz I hate anybody. I don't hate anybody. I don't want anybody to go to an eternal hell. No one
[01:23:30] But that Jesus said unless you repent you will perish and perish doesn't mean cease to exist
[01:23:37] It means you're going to suffer the vengeance of eternal fire
[01:23:40] You're going to live in eternal death, which is separation from God who is eternal life
[01:23:45] That's what it's all about
[01:23:51] So if they want to call me a hellfire brimstone preach it so be it if I want to say pastor Dean you just mean

[01:24:56] Let me tell you there's nothing that's gonna be more joyful to you apart from just seeing and being with Jesus
[01:25:03] To turn around and see the people who are there because of what you did and what you said and because they watched your
[01:25:11] life and heard your words
[01:25:17] Nothing's gonna be more beautiful than that
[01:25:21] Apart from Jesus himself. Amen

[01:25:27] We thank you and we praise you and we exalt you God. I ask you to bless your people with truth today
[01:25:36] keep them from the false brethren and the false doctrines that try to
[01:25:41] Privately sneak in or we pray that you'll give us discernment and wisdom
[01:25:48] But truly Lord, even if we have no spiritual discernment from your spirit, we should know the doctrines
[01:25:56] The sound doctrines of the new covenant and recognize when there's false ones being put forth
[01:26:02] I pray that for all my brothers and sisters. I pray that everyone that hears this message
[01:26:11] Will come to the truth and the knowledge of Jesus Christ and repent if they need to repent
[01:26:17] Get off the path of error false doctrine and get on the path of truth
