Skyfall 2024: Biblical Cosmology by Matt Long Source URL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bTV9x5g9RU Video ID: 1bTV9x5g9RU YouTube upload date: 2024-11-05 Video duration: 00:56:02 Transcription: Faster-Whisper small.en (automatic; timestamped) Note: Automatic transcription; review against the audio before quotation or publication. [00:00:01] Well, I tell you what, I sometimes I cannot believe that it's been since 2018. [00:00:10] We've been doing this stuff. [00:00:11] Of course, we did take a couple of years. [00:00:13] One year we did a deliverance seminar and then we missed one year altogether. [00:00:17] But 2018, it's been a long time. [00:00:19] But Matt and I met in Raleigh during the Flat Earth, the first Flat Earth International [00:00:24] Conference in 2017, and Matt, it's just been a blessing in my life. [00:00:30] He stood with me in all that battle during that time I was like, I knew I liked this guy. [00:00:37] That was back when he was through. [00:00:42] With the metal cards, anybody ever get, yeah, we had the metal card. [00:00:47] But Matt, I love you brother and appreciate your stand for the Lord and the Word of God [00:00:53] and we love having you. [00:00:55] Thanks for coming. [00:01:05] Well through him all things were made. [00:01:10] Through who? [00:01:11] I wonder. [00:01:12] Well, according to John 1, Hebrews 1, and Colossians 1, Jesus is the Maker of all things, including [00:01:21] that right there. [00:01:24] And according to Romans 1, we can get to know the Creator through the creation. [00:01:30] So if that's the case, if we can get to know the Creator through the creation, should [00:01:35] we not study and appreciate what that creation is according to Scripture? [00:01:41] And when Scripture and science diverge, should we embrace science and reject the Bible or [00:01:50] should we embrace the Bible and reject science? [00:01:52] Because you'll say, well Matt, the Bible's not a science book and that's true and it's [00:01:56] actually a good thing because science books were written by men attempting to describe [00:02:02] the things of God while at the same time removing God from the equation. [00:02:07] And the Bible doesn't function on such illogic. [00:02:10] The Bible has never issued a second, third, or fourth edition because the Bible is ultimate [00:02:16] truth and ultimate truth cannot change. [00:02:18] It doesn't bend. [00:02:19] It doesn't flex based on scientific trends or theories of the day, right? [00:02:27] So I guess I want to thank Dean and Nancy for having me back, okay? [00:02:34] This is one of the only streaks I still have alive in my life as I get older, is that I've [00:02:40] spoken at every single skyfall. [00:02:42] And honestly, I have two goals in my life for the remainder of my life. [00:02:46] One is I live in a neighborhood with no, they have no shoulders on the road, so the mailbox [00:02:50] is like jump out at you as you're driving. [00:02:52] And so I want to never hit a mailbox before I go to the grave and I never want to be [00:02:57] the subject of a Dean Otol sermon. [00:03:01] That is my goal. [00:03:05] So far so good. [00:03:09] Now I like telling jokes to get started, kind of loosen me up, but I thought this time I [00:03:14] would just show you guys a joke real quick, right there. [00:03:22] Thanks. [00:03:28] So I was trying to think what to speak about this time and I was speaking in Boston a couple [00:03:36] weeks ago and I had an older lady look me in the eyes, point at me from the crowd [00:03:41] and say, this is what you're supposed to talk about. [00:03:44] Do not waver. [00:03:45] And of course, the theme of skyfall was stay the course. [00:03:48] So I thought it was fitting that I should speak on biblical cosmology and of course Dean [00:03:55] was no help. [00:03:56] He's just talk about what the Lord leads brother, you know, when I asked someone to [00:04:00] speak on. [00:04:01] So, so yeah, I just waited for the Lord to speak and here we are at biblical cosmology. [00:04:08] So I obviously have a book on the subject. [00:04:10] It's called The House That Jesus Built and that is about the biblical shape of the [00:04:15] earth, an intelligent alternative design. [00:04:19] If you guys have read my first version of that book, it's a lot of the same stuff is [00:04:24] in here. [00:04:25] This is a little bit reorganized in a way for someone who's never heard of the subject, [00:04:30] like didn't even know it was a controversy, could take a look at it and really get something [00:04:34] out of it. [00:04:35] I had meant to bring some, but I mean, I only got here with like 25% of my children. [00:04:40] So the idea to also bring books along was just a little bit too much for me to bear. [00:04:46] In fact, I saw Kevin in the lobby this morning in the hotel. [00:04:49] He's like, Hey, can I get a ride, you know, over to the place? [00:04:52] I was like, look, we're being down here at nine. [00:04:55] Make sure you get here at 857 so I don't accidentally leave without you. [00:04:58] So it's just, you got to, you got to work those systems in and, but yeah, if you [00:05:04] go to mattlongbook.com, that's where you can find that a couple of the things that [00:05:08] we're working on that are really cool. [00:05:09] If you guys have heard of dome shot, it's the official token of the flat earth and [00:05:14] the official currency of the Fe clock app from Dave Weiss. [00:05:18] We've done some really cool stuff. [00:05:19] We air dropped like we actually did 33 million on 9 11 to like 1400 users and [00:05:27] it's actually done about 100 X since the launch. [00:05:29] So that's pretty exciting. [00:05:31] Here's a, here's a chart of it versus NASA's last launch here. [00:05:37] So you can see the charts going up and, and NASA is obviously coming, [00:05:42] coming back down here, something that's really cool. [00:05:44] I don't know if you're into crypto or not, but if you are, [00:05:47] it's just something fun to get into. [00:05:48] So the funny thing is we actually, we use it. [00:05:52] So when people refer the app, we pay them in dome. [00:05:55] It's called dome shot dome for short. [00:05:57] And we're actually at the value that it is now. [00:06:00] We're actually paying people every time they refer the app or paying them about [00:06:03] the $8 equivalent US dollars and the app costs three bucks. [00:06:08] So it's kind of funny. [00:06:09] We want to look back 10 years from now and [00:06:11] realize we were paying people like a thousand bucks a referral for a $3 app. [00:06:15] But it's the, it's the first crypto in the history of the world to monetize [00:06:19] the spreading of God's true creation. [00:06:22] So I think it's pretty cool. [00:06:23] So if you go to dome shot.io, you can learn everything you need to learn [00:06:27] about it there. [00:06:28] I've also gotten into the pickle ball space again. [00:06:32] Not that kind of space, but the pickle ball space. [00:06:34] This is actually the only pickle ball pad on the history of the world that was [00:06:37] designed with a non, a flat non-rotating earth in mind. [00:06:40] So you got any pickle ball players out there? [00:06:42] This is the only one out there, okay? [00:06:46] So if you go to cleaver.pro and scroll all the way down to the bottom and [00:06:51] click a little, there's a little FE button down there. [00:06:53] And there's actually a flat earth version. [00:06:56] That's it's got a flat earth map on it. [00:06:59] And that's actually the official paddle of the flat earth. [00:07:02] It's amazing what you can claim when no one else wants to claim it. [00:07:05] So, but I also do like real estate development as my official like line of [00:07:13] business. [00:07:13] And if you go to sixture.com with an S, you can see all these things that I do. [00:07:18] And if there are any synergies there, like anyone wants to, you know, [00:07:21] do some business, I'd ret rather do with a Christian flat earther, of course. [00:07:25] So you guys just let me know. [00:07:27] So what is biblical cosmology or intelligent alternative design? [00:07:32] Well, we've already kind of ripped the band-aid off, right? [00:07:36] It's this topic of flat earth. [00:07:37] That right there, that is an official NASA photo of what flat earthers believe [00:07:42] right there, if you guys can believe that. [00:07:44] Actually, that's a drawing from Robert Paint Tank Moore right there. [00:07:48] It's from my book. [00:07:50] Robert did the illustrations for me. [00:07:53] But obviously, yes, nobody believes this. [00:07:56] An actual flat earther or someone who believes in biblical cosmology does not [00:08:00] believe this. [00:08:01] In fact, we don't believe in a solar system at all, right? [00:08:04] We believe in what's called an earth system, [00:08:08] something a little bit more like this. [00:08:11] So if you were to take the globe and squash it, basically stick your finger [00:08:15] on the North Pole, squash it down to where the North Pole is now [00:08:19] the center of our creation. [00:08:22] Antarctica is no longer a continent at the bottom of the globe, but rather [00:08:25] a continental ice shelf that holds the waters in and supports the dome above. [00:08:31] So to us, this is all there is. [00:08:33] This is the earth system. [00:08:36] And so the sun, moon, and stars are not distant planets and galaxies far, [00:08:42] far away. [00:08:42] They're actually smaller, closer, and also located inside our system. [00:08:48] I believe that this version is the only version that can fulfill all 200-plus [00:08:53] verses in the Bible that speak of the Hebrew cosmology, [00:08:59] what the Hebrews believed. [00:09:01] So what I want to establish first is why this is important so that the Baptists [00:09:06] don't come after me for no reason here. [00:09:11] But as Christians, I think we need to respect the fact [00:09:15] that different things lead different people to Christ. [00:09:18] For me, when, and I usually say, the only thing worse than Christians [00:09:24] when trying to spread flat earth is pastors, right? [00:09:27] Because they actually get in the way quite a bit of this movement [00:09:32] that I believe is bringing people to Christ. [00:09:34] And like I mentioned, different things bring different people to Christ. [00:09:38] For me, when I was in my 20s, someone coming up to me and saying, [00:09:41] hey, man, Jesus loves you, would not have done anything for me. [00:09:45] In fact, I'm sure it happened. [00:09:46] But to me, Jesus wasn't real. [00:09:50] I had to come at it from a different viewpoint. [00:09:53] And embarrassingly, I just needed a little bit more, [00:09:56] like, I don't know, say, proof. [00:10:00] But I did need to know that the Bible was something [00:10:04] that you could believe without being an idiot. [00:10:06] That's literally what I thought. [00:10:07] I was like, oh, you believe the Bible? [00:10:08] Oh, well, you need a mental crutch. [00:10:10] That's what I thought. [00:10:12] And after reading the case for Christ and studying many other things, [00:10:16] I found out like, oh, like, if you know this stuff, [00:10:19] you actually can't be a wise person and not believe the Bible [00:10:22] is what I came to. [00:10:24] Because my university-level physics, astronomy, and geology classes [00:10:27] all told me how this place got here without the help [00:10:30] of an all-loving, all-powerful creator. [00:10:33] And I also didn't realize that there was a difference [00:10:36] between evidence and worldview. [00:10:39] Evidence is numbers, readings, measurements. [00:10:42] It's unbiased information from which we can speculate and draw [00:10:47] conclusions. [00:10:48] And worldview is an interpretation of that evidence. [00:10:52] And everything you hear from a college professor or see [00:10:56] on the Discovery Channel is something [00:10:58] that is an interpretation of evidence. [00:11:01] A lot of people think they're listening to unbiasedness [00:11:04] when they're watching those shows. [00:11:06] But actually, they're listening to something [00:11:09] that has a very purposeful worldview. [00:11:12] And that worldview, it's the scientific worldview. [00:11:15] And like I said, it's the worldview [00:11:16] that nothing exploded, created everything [00:11:18] without the help of an all-loving, all-powerful [00:11:21] creator. [00:11:22] I want to see if the volume works here. [00:11:24] So if that's how you want to invoke your evidence for God, [00:11:29] then God is an ever-receiving pocket of scientific ignorance [00:11:35] that's getting smaller and smaller and smaller [00:11:38] as time moves on. [00:11:40] So he's obviously not one of the 70 [00:11:42] that we talked about earlier, right? [00:11:45] But that is the worldview right there. [00:11:49] The amazing thing is that every atom in your body [00:11:52] came from a star that exploded. [00:11:54] And the atoms in your left hand probably [00:11:56] came from a different star than your right hand. [00:11:58] It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics. [00:12:02] You are all stardust. [00:12:03] You couldn't be here if stars hadn't exploded, [00:12:05] because the elements, the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, [00:12:08] all the things that matter for evolution [00:12:11] weren't created at the beginning of time. [00:12:13] They're created in the nuclear furnaces of stars. [00:12:14] And the only way they can get into your body [00:12:17] is if the stars were kind enough to explode. [00:12:19] So forget Jesus. [00:12:20] The stars died so that you could be here today. [00:12:24] Yeah, really funny, huh? [00:12:25] So when the two disagree, which mindset are we going to embrace? [00:12:31] Which worldview are we going to embrace? [00:12:34] Are we going to embrace the worldview that's openly [00:12:36] anti-God? [00:12:38] Because that's the one that writes all the textbooks. [00:12:42] That's the one in universities. [00:12:44] That's the one in museums. [00:12:45] That's the one on the Discovery Channel. [00:12:47] Again, that nothing exploded and created everything [00:12:50] without the help of an all-loving, all-powerful creator. [00:12:54] I just don't know why we're so anxious [00:12:57] to embrace such a worldview. [00:13:01] People like Answers in Genesis [00:13:02] and Institute for Creation Research, [00:13:04] they want to be accepted by these people. [00:13:07] So I want to go into now about how there is a difference [00:13:10] between what we're shown and what we experience. [00:13:14] Now, this is not a photo right here. [00:13:16] I don't know if you guys can tell. [00:13:18] You guys sound like a group that probably know [00:13:20] the difference between a photo and an image. [00:13:22] And I'm going to go into why this is not [00:13:26] an evidence-based conversation, [00:13:28] and it's because of programming. [00:13:30] If it wasn't for programming, [00:13:32] you could probably sit down with someone [00:13:34] and teach them about biblical cosmology, [00:13:38] without anger, without, you know, straw man arguments [00:13:42] and things like that. [00:13:44] If you could sit down with someone and say [00:13:46] two plus two equals four, [00:13:48] and they've been taught all their life [00:13:50] from when they were little that two plus two equals five, [00:13:54] you're not going to be able to rationalize with that person. [00:13:57] It doesn't matter how clear the evidence is. [00:14:00] So this is what we're shown. [00:14:01] And actually, let me go into photos versus images, right? [00:14:04] So a photo is a capture of reality. [00:14:07] And an image is a representation of reality. [00:14:11] A photo is when you capture real life [00:14:13] and you do nothing to it. [00:14:14] An image is when you modify a photo. [00:14:18] It's also when you create a picture. [00:14:21] That's what an image is. [00:14:24] So right here, these are the bones [00:14:28] that the scientists found, okay? [00:14:30] So this is what we experience. [00:14:32] And this is what they drew, all right? [00:14:35] This is an artist rendering or an artist conception [00:14:40] of the missing link between men and apes, right? [00:14:44] So again, this is what they found, [00:14:47] and this is what they drew. [00:14:48] This is the artist conception right there. [00:14:52] This right here is the Milky Way galaxy, right? [00:14:56] This is what we're shown. [00:14:57] The only problem is when you scroll down to the bottom [00:15:00] and the little tiny print, [00:15:01] you can also see that it says an artist conception [00:15:04] of the Milky Way galaxy right there. [00:15:07] And it gives the artist name, right? [00:15:10] What people don't realize is that this is also an image [00:15:15] or a drawing or a creation with a worldview behind it. [00:15:19] Here's what we're shown. [00:15:21] We're shown that the sun travels through the galaxy [00:15:25] at 450,000 miles an hour, [00:15:28] and that the planets revolve around that sun. [00:15:31] The earth supposedly goes at, you know, [00:15:33] 66,000 miles an hour. [00:15:35] The earth is also spinning at 1,000 miles an hour, [00:15:37] and the universe is supposedly expanding [00:15:40] at over a million miles an hour. [00:15:43] But what we experience is a flat non-rotating earth. [00:15:47] And this is Mickelson and Morley, [00:15:49] the experiment in the late 1800s [00:15:52] that proved through the use of optics [00:15:56] by bouncing light around right angles [00:15:58] in different directions [00:15:59] that the earth is not spinning 1,000 miles an hour [00:16:03] at the equator. [00:16:04] It's interesting that Albert Einstein has a quote [00:16:07] that says, no amount of experimentation can prove me right. [00:16:10] He's a theoretical physicist, all right? [00:16:11] No amount of experimentation can prove me right, [00:16:14] but a single experiment can prove me wrong. [00:16:16] It is interesting that after this experiment, [00:16:19] he's like, well, he's quoted as saying, [00:16:21] I don't think it's possible to prove [00:16:23] the motion of the earth through any optical experiment. [00:16:28] He then had to change some of his theories because of it. [00:16:31] Yet the Bible says in 1 Chronicles 16.30, [00:16:34] Psalm 93.1, Psalm 96.10, and Psalm 104.5, [00:16:39] that the earth is fixed and immovable. [00:16:42] So two very different things. [00:16:43] Remember, science and scripture, [00:16:45] they're not just diverging, [00:16:46] they're describing complete opposites. [00:16:50] So we're told we live on a spinning ball, right? [00:16:54] The two characteristics of a spinning ball [00:16:58] are motion and curvature. [00:17:00] And we just talked about, [00:17:02] cannot prove that the earth is spinning. [00:17:04] In fact, we experience that it's fixed and immovable. [00:17:09] So this is the Chicago skyline. [00:17:13] A lot of people have heard of this. [00:17:14] 50 miles across Lake Michigan, [00:17:16] you can clearly see the skyline there of the city. [00:17:20] Yet according to curvature math, [00:17:22] on a ball 24,900 miles in circumference, [00:17:26] you shouldn't be able to see [00:17:26] a single building across Lake Michigan. [00:17:30] So what we're shown is a ball [00:17:34] that says we shouldn't be able to see that, [00:17:35] yet what we experience is being able to clearly see it. [00:17:40] I guess we can't trust our senses. [00:17:41] That's what they want us to believe. [00:17:43] So there's the math there, okay? [00:17:46] It comes out to eight inches per mile squared, right? [00:17:49] And because of that square, [00:17:50] it exponentially increases [00:17:52] as you go further and further away. [00:17:53] One mile is eight inches, [00:17:54] two miles 32 inches, [00:17:56] all the way down to 30 miles is 7,200 inches. [00:18:01] And again, according to that math, [00:18:05] over 50 miles across Lake Michigan, [00:18:07] you should be hiding about 2,000 feet [00:18:10] of vertical curvature. [00:18:12] And there's not a single building in Chicago [00:18:15] that's over 2,000 feet tall. [00:18:17] Yet you can see them all. [00:18:20] This right here is a world record photograph. [00:18:24] This is some guy standing on a mountain in Spain [00:18:28] and taking a picture of a mountain in France, okay? [00:18:33] This is 275 miles away. [00:18:37] And according to the formula [00:18:39] that we just talked about, [00:18:40] there is 10 miles of vertical curvature, [00:18:43] or there should be 10 miles of vertical distance hiding [00:18:48] from where the guy's taking a picture [00:18:50] to what he's taking a picture of. [00:18:52] Now, because he's elevated in Spain, [00:18:55] you have to adjust for that math [00:18:57] and it comes out to about five miles of curvature. [00:18:59] Now, the tallest mountains that we know about [00:19:02] is Mount Everest. [00:19:03] It's roughly five miles tall. [00:19:05] This is not Mount Everest. [00:19:07] And so even if Mount Everest was on the other side, [00:19:09] you should only be able to see the very tip, [00:19:11] yet you can see the entire range there. [00:19:17] And of course, the Bible talks about [00:19:18] the face of the earth insinuating flat. [00:19:21] When the devil takes Jesus up onto the high mountain, [00:19:24] shows him all the kingdoms of the world, [00:19:26] that is insinuating flat [00:19:28] because you wouldn't be able to see [00:19:29] all the kingdoms of the world on a ball. [00:19:31] When Jesus comes back, all the world will see. [00:19:35] That would not be possible on a ball. [00:19:38] You have Isaiah and Isaiah 40, 22 [00:19:40] talking about the circle of the earth, okay? [00:19:43] A circle is flat. [00:19:45] Isaiah uses a Hebrew word for ball in Isaiah 22, 18, [00:19:49] but that's when he's talking about [00:19:50] something being tossed like a ball. [00:19:52] When he talks about the shape of the earth, [00:19:54] he uses the word circle very specifically [00:19:57] and a circle is not the same thing as a ball. [00:20:00] That's why there's two different words for it. [00:20:03] Just like a pizza, pizza can be round and flat. [00:20:06] And Job 26, seven, it says that [00:20:10] the earth hangs on nothing, okay? [00:20:11] That's not a ball floating in space. [00:20:14] It's talking about the earth, [00:20:15] like the actual ground is not hanging on anything. [00:20:18] It's set on pillars and on a foundation [00:20:20] just like it talks about later in Job. [00:20:23] And then of course, the New Jerusalem, [00:20:25] which comes down in Revelation, [00:20:27] the dimensions of the New Jerusalem, [00:20:30] if we were on a ball, [00:20:31] would require a hump in the middle, [00:20:34] the size of 22 Mount Everest if you do the math, okay? [00:20:39] So the Bible also talks about a world with no curvature. [00:20:45] But again, here's what we're shown, right? [00:20:48] We're shown an earth floating in space [00:20:52] with an atmosphere with nothing between that atmosphere [00:20:56] and the negative vacuum of space. [00:20:58] This is the negative 12 Tor vacuum [00:21:01] that would literally suck your eyeballs out of your head [00:21:03] if you jumped out of a spaceship, okay? [00:21:06] Negative 12 is so insanely powerful. [00:21:11] The strongest vacuum they can create on earth [00:21:14] is like negative six. [00:21:15] And when they do that, [00:21:16] like the metal walls are bending in, okay? [00:21:20] And I was actually at my last talk in Boston. [00:21:23] There was a guy there who worked [00:21:24] on that kind of technology. [00:21:26] And he, before he became a flat earther, [00:21:29] he was basically a technician [00:21:32] working with these engineers at NASA and some other groups. [00:21:35] They're working on satellite technology. [00:21:36] They're working on spacesuit technology. [00:21:39] And he kept asking questions like, [00:21:42] how do we just use like this little like silicone sealant [00:21:45] on the astronauts suits? [00:21:47] Like, how does that stand up to the pressure [00:21:50] that's creating this vacuum [00:21:53] that's bending like metal this thick? [00:21:55] Like, how does that work? [00:21:57] And he couldn't get any answers. [00:21:58] And this was before he even knew this was a thing. [00:22:00] And he's like, how do they only use [00:22:02] like quarter inch thick rivets on these items? [00:22:06] And he wasn't getting good answers. [00:22:09] And so, and now he's a flat earther. [00:22:11] And so it's quite an interesting perspective. [00:22:16] Yeah. [00:22:17] But the Bible, again, talks about the opposite. [00:22:22] Science says that there's nothing between us [00:22:24] and the outside realm. [00:22:26] The Bible says that there's a firmament. [00:22:28] And in fact, science tells us that [00:22:31] we're up against a negative vacuum [00:22:33] that is trying to suck things off the planet. [00:22:36] The Bible says that there's waters above [00:22:38] bearing weight down on us. [00:22:40] So again, the exact opposite. [00:22:42] It says, it talks about the firmament created on day two. [00:22:45] It says that it is a solid molten looking glass [00:22:50] in Job 37, 18. [00:22:52] It's called the terrible crystal in Ezekiel 1 22. [00:22:56] It's called the sea of glass that God walks on [00:22:59] in Revelation 15 two. [00:23:01] It's described as, the Bible describes [00:23:04] the waters above the skies. [00:23:06] That's David in Psalm 148 four. [00:23:08] And that's 1500 years after the flood. [00:23:10] So the canopy theory that the water, [00:23:12] that the firmament was a canopy [00:23:15] and collapsed during the flood [00:23:16] and the waters came down and flooded the earth [00:23:18] is not possible. [00:23:20] And it also says that they're established forever. [00:23:23] So that's also a problem for that theory. [00:23:26] And Psalm 19 one, if we just wanna talk logic [00:23:29] for a second, Psalm 19 one says that the firmament [00:23:31] shows God's handiwork, which is interesting [00:23:34] because if I was a craftsman [00:23:37] and let's say we had an issue with those doors back there [00:23:41] and they called Matt and they said, [00:23:44] Matt, we need you to replace those doors. [00:23:46] And I said, sure, no problem. [00:23:47] So I come in, I replace the doors, [00:23:49] they function properly. [00:23:50] And now I'm up on stage and I wanna show you guys [00:23:53] like, hey guys, I'm a pretty awesome craftsman. [00:23:56] And so I go and I open the doors [00:23:58] and I show you like the empty space between [00:24:01] because a lot of Bible translations now [00:24:03] call it a great expanse. [00:24:05] And that this great expanse somehow shows God's handiwork, [00:24:08] this great expanse of empty space. [00:24:10] So if I were to open those doors and be like, [00:24:12] look, look at all this, [00:24:16] that's not a display of my craftsmanship, [00:24:18] a display of my craftsmanship of me to go knock, [00:24:20] look how solid these doors are, right? [00:24:22] That I built, like they're not going anywhere. [00:24:24] And so the firmament, according to Psalm 19 one, [00:24:26] showing God's handiwork [00:24:28] has got to be something solid, [00:24:30] just from a logical perspective. [00:24:34] Something else that's the opposite, right? [00:24:35] We're told that the moon reflects the light of the sun, okay? [00:24:38] And the light of the sun is warm, right? [00:24:41] When you're outside on a hot summer day [00:24:43] or a hot fall day, I guess, [00:24:46] when you're outside and it's hot and you go in the shade, [00:24:50] it's now cooler, right? [00:24:52] But at night, when you're out in the moonlight [00:24:56] and you're cold, excuse me, if you were hot, [00:25:01] excuse me, if you were cold, [00:25:02] if you go in the shade, it's now warmer. [00:25:04] The moonlight is actually the opposite of sunlight. [00:25:08] The moonlight is cold and it's measurably cold. [00:25:10] There's been a bunch of people, including myself, [00:25:12] that can take a thermometer [00:25:14] and take a shot of the grass, for example, [00:25:17] that's in the moonlight and the grass that's in the shade [00:25:20] and the light that's in the shade [00:25:21] is actually warmer than the light, [00:25:23] or yeah, than the light that's in the sun. [00:25:25] It's hard to think in opposites here. [00:25:28] That's why I can't be a glower [00:25:29] because I got to think in opposites. [00:25:32] And what did Jesus say? [00:25:33] In Matthew 24, 29, Jesus said that there'll be a day [00:25:37] that will come and the moon will cease to give her light. [00:25:41] So there's two clues. [00:25:42] One, he says the moon gives its own light, [00:25:44] but he also calls it a she. [00:25:46] And in that culture, it was just, [00:25:49] it was thought of that the sun was a he [00:25:52] and the moon was a she, insinuating the opposite. [00:25:56] And obviously it's clearly a light bulb. [00:25:57] Like when my daughter was five, I asked her, [00:26:01] I showed her a picture of the astronauts [00:26:03] walking on the dull gray dust ball. [00:26:06] And I showed her a picture of that. [00:26:08] And I was like, do you think those two are the same things? [00:26:10] And she's like, no. [00:26:11] And I said, right, so this is obviously like a light. [00:26:14] She's like, yeah. [00:26:15] And then she goes, so where are those guys standing? [00:26:18] I was like, well, I don't know. [00:26:21] Not sure. [00:26:24] Right. [00:26:26] We're also told that the sun is a flaming fireball 93 [00:26:29] million miles away. [00:26:31] We're told that seasons are caused [00:26:34] by the tilt of the Earth, right? [00:26:36] That 23.4 degree tilt, that when taken out of 90 degrees [00:26:39] is 66.6. [00:26:41] Yeah, we're told that because of our tilt, [00:26:43] that's what creates the seasons, [00:26:45] not whether you're closer or further away. [00:26:47] I know when I'm next to a campfire, [00:26:50] my tilt doesn't really matter. [00:26:51] It doesn't matter if I go over here. [00:26:53] It definitely cools off, right? [00:26:58] I guess I would have to like, if I lean back in my chair, [00:27:01] maybe it wouldn't be as hot. [00:27:04] But again, we're talking about logic, right? [00:27:06] Which doesn't necessarily come into play [00:27:07] in some of these conversations. [00:27:08] It's why you can't have a logical conversation [00:27:11] with somebody about it because it's programming. [00:27:15] So it's interesting that in the flat Earth model, [00:27:19] well, in the globe model, [00:27:22] it actually says that the sun is further away [00:27:24] in our winter than in our summer. [00:27:27] And that it's that tilt, [00:27:28] which is what causes the seasons. [00:27:30] And I would say, I don't think that's the case. [00:27:32] And in the flat Earth model, [00:27:34] the sun is actually closer during our summer. [00:27:37] And we can talk about that. [00:27:39] Here's some more on the actual shadows. [00:27:41] This is talking about Ertosthenes. [00:27:43] To see if Earth's surface is curved, [00:27:45] we needed another well. [00:27:47] Turns out we can't see the bottom [00:27:48] of both wells at the same time. [00:27:51] What might explain this? [00:27:53] Well, there are two possible explanations. [00:27:55] First, we could have a flat Earth [00:27:57] with the sun that's small and close by [00:27:59] so that the light hits the second well at an angle. [00:28:03] Or second, we could have a curved Earth [00:28:05] with a sun that's big and far away [00:28:08] so that all the light comes in parallel. [00:28:10] But only one well at a time [00:28:12] is lit all the way to the bottom. [00:28:14] Turns out with just two wells, [00:28:16] there's enough wiggle room [00:28:18] for both explanations to fit our observations. [00:28:21] Ertosthenes only had two wells. [00:28:24] So it's interesting that people use that as an example [00:28:28] they knew the Earth was a ball thousands of years ago [00:28:31] because of Ertosthenes. [00:28:33] That's actually not the case. [00:28:35] You'll find that in so many of these arguments, [00:28:37] the people are assuming that flat Earth [00:28:39] there's also believe in a sun [00:28:40] that's 93 million miles away, which we don't. [00:28:43] So in this case, shadows do not prove [00:28:47] that we live on the ball. [00:28:48] In fact, if you can make the case that it does, [00:28:52] you could also make the case that it proves [00:28:53] that we live on a flat Earth with a smaller local sun. [00:28:58] Something similar to this, maybe. [00:28:59] I don't know if anyone's ever seen anything like this. [00:29:02] That is what we experience. [00:29:03] Like if you just connect all those rays, [00:29:05] where is that pointing? [00:29:07] And of course, the Bible talks about in Joshua 10, 12, [00:29:12] how the sun and the moon settled over specific locations. [00:29:17] This is when Joshua was chasing down the Amalekites [00:29:19] and he prays to God to stop the sun and the moon [00:29:21] so that the day will last longer [00:29:23] so that he can finish off his enemy [00:29:25] because he was scared at the sunset, [00:29:27] he wouldn't be able to finish them off. [00:29:28] So God stops the sun and the moon. [00:29:30] He stops the sun over Gibeon and the moon over Agilon. [00:29:35] And that speaks of a smaller sun and a smaller moon [00:29:40] that are closer, that are local, [00:29:42] that are located inside our Earth system. [00:29:46] When I first got into this idea of flat Earth, [00:29:50] this crazy idea of flat Earth, [00:29:52] I did a couple of my own tests. [00:29:55] And this is a test that I did [00:29:57] where I thought to myself, [00:29:59] if the Earth is 93 million miles away, [00:30:02] it should be roughly the same size at noon [00:30:05] and at 6 p.m. on a winter day, [00:30:07] because we're just talking about a quarter of a turn [00:30:09] of the Earth. [00:30:11] But if we're on a flat Earth [00:30:12] where the sun is traveling above our head, [00:30:15] then there should be a significant difference [00:30:17] between 12 and 6 p.m. [00:30:19] Now, this is on a winter day, [00:30:21] so 6 p.m. is pretty close to sunset. [00:30:24] It's also very cold, [00:30:25] so there's minimal atmospheric magnification. [00:30:29] There's still gonna be some, but it's less. [00:30:31] And so I took two pictures at noon, [00:30:33] and I took two pictures at 6 p.m., [00:30:36] and I was kinda shocked when I pulled it up [00:30:39] and put the two lines on there [00:30:41] and saw that, yeah, there was about a 35% reduction [00:30:44] in the size of the sun between noon and 6 p.m. [00:30:47] Now, it was probably greater [00:30:49] because there probably was some atmospheric magnification [00:30:52] because as the sun gets lower in the sky, [00:30:54] you're looking through more and more water molecules. [00:30:58] But in fact, that's exactly what I think we'd experience [00:31:01] if we lived on a flat, non-rotating Earth [00:31:04] with the sun smaller and located inside our system. [00:31:09] But again, like in every single one of these instances, [00:31:13] science and the Bible are describing [00:31:17] two very different things, [00:31:18] and it's only the Bible that sides with our experience [00:31:23] in every single one of these things. [00:31:26] And it's why you can't have an evidence-based conversation [00:31:30] because if we live on a flat, non-rotating Earth [00:31:35] and we experience a flat, non-rotating Earth [00:31:39] and experimentation proves a flat, non-rotating Earth, [00:31:45] why do I have to get up in front of people [00:31:48] and explain to them why I believe [00:31:49] the Earth is flat and motionless? [00:31:52] It'd be a much more interesting conversation [00:31:54] for someone to come up here and explain to me [00:31:55] why they live on a globe because I'm just saying, [00:31:58] well, I've never seen the curvature, [00:32:01] I've never felt the motion. [00:32:03] You've never seen the curvature, [00:32:04] you've never felt the motion. [00:32:06] Yeah, why am I up here talking about [00:32:07] why I believe the Earth is flat and motionless? [00:32:09] Especially when the Bible describes that as well. [00:32:13] So, but I think you guys know [00:32:15] why there's an actual conversation [00:32:18] and it's because of these guys. [00:32:21] NASA, the Christian organization [00:32:23] founded to further God's kingdom, right? [00:32:29] No, they were formed by Nazis, Freemasons, and magicians. [00:32:34] And if you're interested in some of that info, [00:32:35] look up Operation Paperclip, [00:32:38] check out Jack Parsons, L. Ron Hubbard, [00:32:41] and then all of the early astronauts, [00:32:42] the ceremonial lodge that they put on the moon, [00:32:47] the firmasonic lodge. [00:32:49] Some crazy similarities between the word NASA, [00:32:54] obviously NASA's an acronym, [00:32:56] but these people love to use acronyms that mean things. [00:32:59] And NASA's very close to a Hebrew word, nasa, nasha, [00:33:03] however you wanna pronounce it. [00:33:05] And the interesting thing about that word [00:33:07] is that it has a double meaning, okay? [00:33:10] It can mean to lift up. [00:33:11] So when God gave Cain a mark, [00:33:14] Cain said, this is more than I can bear, okay? [00:33:16] That word bear, it's to like lift up, all right? [00:33:19] It can also mean to beguile, [00:33:21] like the serpent beguiled Eve in the garden. [00:33:23] The serpent deceived Eve. [00:33:25] So it's crazy that this Hebrew word [00:33:27] that sounds very close to NASA [00:33:29] can mean to lift up like a rocket to space, [00:33:33] or it can mean to beguile [00:33:34] like the serpent beguiled Eve in the garden. [00:33:37] Another interesting correlation [00:33:38] is that the Hebrew word for tongue, lashon, [00:33:42] means fork of flame, [00:33:44] and it sure looks like there's a nice big serpent tongue [00:33:48] going right through the NASA logo there. [00:33:52] So what we're gonna decide is does it mean to lift up [00:33:55] or does it mean to deceive? [00:33:57] And another interesting thing is that [00:34:00] during the creation account, [00:34:03] God spoke things into existence, right? [00:34:06] Every day starts with, and then God said. [00:34:09] And it sure looks like in this case, [00:34:10] they're showing a serpent speaking their version [00:34:14] of creation into existence with the tongue, of course. [00:34:19] So let's check out what NASA is all about here. [00:34:23] NASA employees artists. [00:34:25] You guys probably know that [00:34:26] if you've seen a Dean Odell sermon here, [00:34:28] they're called data visualizers, [00:34:30] and we're gonna learn about what these guys do. [00:34:32] With something NASA latched onto early on, [00:34:34] for over 50 years, [00:34:35] NASA worked closely with artists and creative leaders [00:34:38] like Walt Disney and Norman Rockwell [00:34:40] to help shape the stories of space flight. [00:34:43] It's the same legacy today, [00:34:45] just with more advanced scientific understanding [00:34:47] and better tools to imagine what far off worlds [00:34:50] might look like if we could visit them. [00:34:53] We wanna take a lot of care to make sure [00:34:54] we don't oversell the part of the story [00:34:56] that isn't actually the story. [00:34:58] There are people who just look and think, [00:34:59] oh, NASA's photographed a planet, [00:35:01] and they don't understand that actually [00:35:03] that was a piece of art. [00:35:04] On the other hand, if we don't do that [00:35:06] and we don't put a piece of compelling artwork, [00:35:09] then people may never even look at the story anyway. [00:35:13] We're putting as much science as we can [00:35:16] of where we know today. [00:35:17] And I like to think that in 50 years [00:35:18] when people come back and look at, say, [00:35:20] the various pictures of exoplanets after, [00:35:22] maybe we actually finally know what they look like, [00:35:24] they might wink and smile to each other, [00:35:25] like, oh, that's so funny, [00:35:27] and they thought there was water on that one, [00:35:28] but also appreciate that this is kind of [00:35:31] a historical record of how our understanding [00:35:34] of these planets has changed over time. [00:35:37] All right, so here's a photo, actually, [00:35:40] of something in space, right? [00:35:44] And what's interesting, [00:35:46] remember the bones that we found earlier [00:35:49] and then the artist drew what they thought, [00:35:53] according to their worldview, that that's what would happen? [00:35:55] Well, that's what these data visualizers do. [00:35:58] They receive information in charts or graphs [00:36:01] or fuzzy little photos like this, [00:36:03] and they draw, like, this is Pluto right here, [00:36:05] and I didn't wanna ruin it, but this is Pluto, [00:36:07] and this is what they drew. [00:36:08] This is the first image of Pluto that they created. [00:36:13] Now, when we were talking, [00:36:14] or when they were playing the video, [00:36:15] they said that NASA partnered with artists [00:36:18] like Norman Rockwell, [00:36:19] and there was another one they mentioned, [00:36:22] Walt Disney, so how cool is it that the planet Pluto [00:36:27] just happens to have a shape on it [00:36:28] that looks like Pluto the dog? [00:36:33] Pretty crazy there, and of course, [00:36:36] Disney is another great group, right? [00:36:39] Yeah, awesome, remember the 66.6 degree tilt of the Earth? [00:36:44] Well, of course Walt Disney has three sixes in his logo, [00:36:48] and it also has a firmament on there [00:36:51] with a tower whose top would reach into heaven, [00:36:55] which is quite interesting as well. [00:36:58] Can you guys tell what it says in the reflection there? [00:37:01] Wicked, yeah, I wonder why they wrote Mickey like that. [00:37:05] Sure it was a mistake. [00:37:10] So we talked about photo versus an image, right? [00:37:12] Photo is a capture of reality, [00:37:14] and an image is a representation of reality. [00:37:19] So this is the blue marble image, okay? [00:37:23] And we're gonna go into how that's created. [00:37:26] I'm gonna have to read it on here, [00:37:27] this is too small on my screen. [00:37:29] So the spectacular blue marble image [00:37:31] is the most detailed true color image [00:37:34] of the entire Earth to date, okay? [00:37:35] So they haven't used the word photo yet, okay? [00:37:39] Using a collection of satellite-based observations, [00:37:42] scientists and visualizers stitched together [00:37:45] months of observations of the land surface, [00:37:49] oceans, sea ice, and clouds [00:37:51] into a seamless true color mosaic [00:37:54] of every square kilometer of the Earth, basically. [00:37:59] So they admit, and this is, I put the website up here, [00:38:01] this is nasa.gov, right? [00:38:04] So this is not some crazy website I found it on. [00:38:08] You've got, this is Robert Simmons, [00:38:10] he's known as like the father of the blue marble. [00:38:13] He's the guy that helped create this image in 2002. [00:38:18] And it says, he's talking about his job here at NASA. [00:38:22] He says, my role is to make imagery from Earth sciences data. [00:38:27] I turned data into pictures, okay? [00:38:30] So he's not enhancing photos, [00:38:34] he's enhancing data with a worldview behind it, remember. [00:38:39] This is what they did, so this is a big description, [00:38:42] but at the end of the description of what they did, [00:38:44] the scientific process of how they got [00:38:46] to the blue marble image, he says, [00:38:48] then we wrapped the flat map around a ball. [00:38:52] My part was integrating the surface clouds and oceans [00:38:56] to match people's expectations [00:38:58] of how Earth looks like from space. [00:39:02] So where do we get our expectations [00:39:04] of how Earth looks like from space? [00:39:06] Universal studios, like if we don't have photos [00:39:11] of what Earth looks like from space, [00:39:14] how do we match expectations? [00:39:16] Well, they've fed us those expectations [00:39:18] and now they're matching them. [00:39:22] So here's the first time they use the word photo, okay? [00:39:24] Because here's Earth and it says, [00:39:25] this is a detailed photo-like view of Earth. [00:39:30] Yeah, photo-like. [00:39:33] And then we're gonna go into some other stuff here. [00:39:35] Let's just watch this, all right, [00:39:38] with our current abilities in Hollywood [00:39:41] and think if we still think this is real right here. [00:39:56] I do feel bad for the guy they left behind [00:39:58] who's filming this. [00:40:02] It was Bruce Willis. [00:40:07] So this is a guy who downloaded this photo from NASA.gov [00:40:13] and is now changing the exposures on it [00:40:16] so that you can see that there's actually a box [00:40:19] around Earth that they cropped into this moon photo here. [00:40:24] And again, this is supposedly a photo from NASA. [00:40:27] You can see that, yeah, Earth was just cropped in there [00:40:29] over and over again, all these things [00:40:33] when you do the exposure, yeah. [00:40:38] You guys know this guy. [00:40:40] I think he's on the spectrum, but. [00:40:42] I'd go to the moon in a nanosecond. [00:40:45] The problem is we don't have the technology [00:40:47] to do that anymore. [00:40:48] We used to, but we destroyed that technology [00:40:53] and it's a painful process to build it back again. [00:40:58] Yeah, so someone had asked him why we don't go to the moon [00:41:01] and he's basically saying, well, we destroyed it [00:41:02] along with the telemetry data, right? [00:41:04] That's all missing as well. [00:41:08] Here's Neil deGrasse Tyson talking [00:41:10] about the Red Bull space jump [00:41:12] and how it looks like he's jumping from the edge of space [00:41:17] but he's actually not. [00:41:19] So if the Earth were actually this size, [00:41:22] the International Space Station would be orbiting [00:41:25] about a half an inch above the surface. [00:41:29] And that dude who jumped out of a perfectly good balloon, [00:41:34] which is a Felix, Felix Bumgardner, [00:41:38] he would have been about two millimeters [00:41:41] above the surface of this globe. [00:41:44] That's his edge of space jump. [00:41:54] Now, you know, I don't have a problem if he does it, [00:41:59] but the honesty of it would greatly diminish [00:42:02] what I think people thought he was actually doing. [00:42:05] And not only that, they made sure to photograph him [00:42:07] standing there with a really wide angle lens [00:42:10] which curves horizontal lines. [00:42:12] So in the photo, you see this curvature of Earth's surface [00:42:16] and he said, wow, he's in space, look at that. [00:42:19] No, he's not at that height. [00:42:21] You don't see the curvature of the Earth [00:42:25] if you are two millimeters above this beach ball. [00:42:29] He just don't, that stuff is flat. [00:42:35] So it's interesting, you have people that say, [00:42:36] oh, I can see the curvature of the Earth [00:42:38] from an airplane yet Felix Bumgardner [00:42:41] is three times higher than an airplane [00:42:43] than Neil deGrasse Tyson is saying [00:42:44] you can't see curvature from that height. [00:42:47] So here is the space jump right here, whoops, oh, sorry. [00:42:53] You also have to push down to go forward on this clicker. [00:42:55] So if the Earth were actually. [00:42:57] So check out the curvature right there [00:42:59] from outside the capsule, yet the non-fish eye lens [00:43:02] from inside the capsule, look at the horizon there. [00:43:07] Pretty flat. [00:43:09] All right, we'll skip past this one. [00:43:11] Here's a guy who's doing some research in Canada. [00:43:15] He's found basically like some Google street type photos. [00:43:18] And this is where NASA trains for their moon missions. [00:43:22] And what's interesting is they found some rock formations [00:43:25] that look very similar to the rock formations on Mars. [00:43:31] They also found a couple hills that look very similar [00:43:35] and they did a comparison here. [00:43:38] Yeah, just a little red filter. [00:43:40] And then they kept looking [00:43:41] and they found something kind of funny. [00:43:44] Oh, wait, oh, look, a rover. [00:43:48] It's got a NASA logo on it. [00:43:53] And then NASA logo on there, pretty awesome. [00:43:57] All right, so this is some technology [00:43:59] where it's contact lenses that augment reality. [00:44:05] So it can look like you're playing with things [00:44:09] in like weightlessness and you can grab it. [00:44:11] And then they render it in real time. [00:44:14] So live, and this is a shot of a guy [00:44:16] who thinks he's grabbing something out of the air [00:44:19] and putting it away. [00:44:20] I think he thinks he's grabbing this guy's hat [00:44:22] and putting it away, [00:44:24] but it's actually not showing up on live TV. [00:44:28] And you can see like his eyes look weird, right? [00:44:30] And so he thinks he's holding this microphone [00:44:33] but his hand is actually going through the microphone. [00:44:36] So his left hand is holding the microphone here [00:44:38] and then he slides his right hand under his left [00:44:41] even though he's supposedly holding the microphone [00:44:43] and the microphone actually is not there. [00:44:48] Here's a guy whose head disappears. [00:44:50] Whoops. [00:44:54] This guy totally disappears. [00:44:57] No, gone. [00:45:00] This guy reappears. [00:45:03] I'm not sure what that's showing there [00:45:04] but obviously some chicanery going on there. [00:45:11] Whoops, these guys dissolve. [00:45:13] But, and then you can see in the background there [00:45:15] there's a green screen. [00:45:20] They love to do their back flips. [00:45:21] You know, when they're on live with schools [00:45:24] this guy's cable gets tangled up. [00:45:25] Looks at this guy in the back grabs it. [00:45:27] And then this guy in the front here just grabs it right there [00:45:31] just to make sure he doesn't run into anything. [00:45:33] Let me just grab that for you. [00:45:35] I got it. [00:45:39] In case you missed it. [00:45:43] See the guy's cables hitting his shirt as he bends down. [00:45:52] And then, oh, they had a guy in the background there. [00:45:56] Doesn't matter, we'll miss it. [00:45:57] All right, so this one there's a guy [00:45:59] actually in the background here. [00:46:00] This is a model. [00:46:02] See, is it playing? [00:46:04] Yeah, there we go. [00:46:05] See the guy right in the back behind it? [00:46:07] They're pretending that they're launching a satellite here. [00:46:10] And this guy realizes he's in the live shot. [00:46:14] And then he goes away. [00:46:16] See, look, he's like, oh, wait, oh. [00:46:19] And then he's out of there. [00:46:20] All right, whoops. [00:46:24] Here's a buddy of mine, Justin Harvey, [00:46:26] in front of the city council saying [00:46:28] that they need to look into NASA. [00:46:30] This is the county which NASA launches from. [00:46:32] And this is him describing how some of the Apollo astronauts [00:46:36] are still alive. [00:46:38] Or excuse me, not Apollo, but Challenger. [00:46:40] Yeah. [00:46:41] I think we all remember the Challenger explosion [00:46:43] that took place in 1986 that tragically took the lives [00:46:46] of all seven astronauts on board. [00:46:48] It launched not too far from where we're standing here today. [00:46:50] Well, the interesting thing is, a couple decades later, [00:46:52] this thing called the internet came about, [00:46:54] and someone allegedly found almost all of those astronauts [00:46:58] alive and well, many using the same exact names. [00:47:03] As you can see here, we have Challenger astronaut Judith [00:47:05] Resnick, and also a Judith Resnick Yale law professor, [00:47:09] Michael J. Smith, the pilot of the Challenger astronaut, [00:47:12] and also professor at University of Wisconsin, [00:47:15] now retired, Michael J. Smith, Commander Dick Scobee, [00:47:18] who is now president of CALS and Trees. [00:47:21] Now, if you'll notice, they all have the exact same faces [00:47:25] 30 some odd years later, the same exact name, [00:47:28] and they are the same age. [00:47:31] And there's been people that have done even further [00:47:34] studies into all the members, but he did just those three [00:47:36] because they were the most obvious. [00:47:40] So if NASA is doing all these things [00:47:45] that are obviously untrue, isn't it likely [00:47:50] that they're hiding something? [00:47:51] Isn't it likely that they're covering something up? [00:47:53] Because if they weren't, I don't know [00:47:54] that we'd see any of this stuff. [00:47:57] And so my question is, can truth change? [00:48:02] And I would say the answer is no, because truth is truth. [00:48:06] Does science change? [00:48:09] Science does change, so can science be truth? [00:48:13] No, it can't, the two are opposites, in fact, [00:48:17] which is why we see the Bible and science [00:48:20] teaching the opposite thing over and over again. [00:48:24] So has the Bible changed? [00:48:27] No, the Bible has not changed. [00:48:29] And if you're watching this like months from now, [00:48:31] go back and watch Dean Odell's video on the history [00:48:34] or part one of the history of the Bible. [00:48:37] The Bible has not changed, [00:48:39] so can the Bible be truth? [00:48:41] I would say yes, it can. [00:48:46] So I believe that this setup right here, [00:48:50] we're looking at a cross section on the left, [00:48:52] the Hebrew concept of the world, [00:48:54] and we're looking at sky view, [00:48:56] bird's eye view of the earth down. [00:48:58] I believe this is the only model here [00:49:02] that can fit all the verses in the Bible, okay? [00:49:06] It's the only one that can fit [00:49:07] the 200 plus descriptions of Hebrew cosmology. [00:49:11] It's the only one that can fulfill the 70 times [00:49:15] that it talks about the sun, moon, and stars as traveling. [00:49:18] And it can fulfill, it's talking about how the earth [00:49:21] is fixed and immovable. [00:49:23] It can talk about the four corners of the earth, [00:49:25] and it can talk about the ends of the earth, [00:49:29] the story of Joshua that we mentioned [00:49:31] where the sun and the moon stopped in their tracks, [00:49:34] the dimensions of the New Jerusalem, [00:49:37] the firmament and the waters above, [00:49:40] the northern lights in Revelation 4.3 [00:49:43] where John goes into heaven, he sees the throne, [00:49:45] he sees the emerald rainbow around the throne of God. [00:49:48] Well, the Bible talks about God residing [00:49:50] in the sides of the north, okay? [00:49:53] So the northern lights, in my opinion, the real ones, [00:49:57] the northern lights are the emerald rainbow [00:49:59] around the throne of God. [00:50:01] Noah's flood, okay, Noah's flood. [00:50:03] If you look at this picture on the left, [00:50:05] let's picture the firmament like a bowl, [00:50:09] an upside down bowl that you lower into a bathtub, [00:50:13] okay, like when you were little. [00:50:15] And what happens, you trap the air inside the bowl, right? [00:50:18] And if you go like that, the air pops up, right? [00:50:20] So God lowers the firmament into the waters, okay? [00:50:24] He traps the air in there, and then during the flood, [00:50:27] it says that he opens the windows of heaven, all right? [00:50:30] Well, if you have a bowl in water and you open a window [00:50:34] or you poke a hole in the top, what happens? [00:50:37] Water doesn't necessarily come in, okay? [00:50:40] But air comes out, so the waters below start to rise. [00:50:44] The fountains of the deep burst forth. [00:50:47] Why did they burst forth? [00:50:48] Because God opened the windows of heaven, [00:50:50] he's letting pressure out of the system, [00:50:52] so the waters are rising up. [00:50:54] It's that air pressure that's holding him down. [00:50:57] And so that's in Genesis seven. [00:50:59] Well, in Genesis eight, [00:51:01] how does he get the waters to subside? [00:51:03] Well, I believe he blows air back into the system [00:51:06] because the Bible talks about a wind [00:51:08] that goes over the whole earth [00:51:10] at the same time that God closes the windows of heaven [00:51:13] and the flood waters subside. [00:51:15] So I think that's a really cool correlation [00:51:17] because I think it's exactly how the flood happened. [00:51:20] And again, that's not possible [00:51:21] on a spinning ball flying through space. [00:51:24] So in closing, I think with all of this information, okay? [00:51:29] We have a responsibility not to cast lies [00:51:34] further into the next generation. [00:51:37] All right, there's a quote from Max Planck. [00:51:39] It says that a scientific truth does not triumph [00:51:44] by convincing its opponents and making them see the light. [00:51:48] It triumphs by a new generation growing up [00:51:51] that's familiar with it, right? [00:51:53] And that sounds like kind of a scary tragic statement, [00:51:57] but it could also be encouraging for us, right? [00:52:00] Because step one is to have more babies, right? [00:52:08] So, right, my wife and I joke [00:52:12] that you can't convince everyone, [00:52:13] so you might as well burst some new ones. [00:52:18] So not only do we feel like we're doing our part [00:52:21] by like spreading this word across the world, [00:52:25] but also having more children [00:52:27] that grow up never doubting the biblical model. [00:52:31] Bo, the little guy who you see running around here, [00:52:32] since he's been two years old, [00:52:35] he yells fake, fake, fake at the Universal Studios logo [00:52:38] when it comes on the deal. [00:52:42] And I've never taught him that. [00:52:44] I think he just heard some of his siblings saying that. [00:52:47] And so he and Winslet, his sister who's right above him, [00:52:52] they've always done that. [00:52:53] And again, it's not something that we taught. [00:52:55] It was just a culture that we created. [00:52:57] So Jesus is the builder. [00:53:01] We already talked about that. [00:53:02] John one, Hebrews one, Colossians one. [00:53:05] Not only did he make the earth, he made the ages, [00:53:08] he made everything, he'll build this family here. [00:53:11] I've actually met my wife at a flat earth conference, [00:53:13] if you guys didn't know that. [00:53:15] And the rest was history. [00:53:17] We got married four months later. [00:53:18] We had a pretty good pastor marry us. [00:53:21] He's sitting in the front row down there. [00:53:24] And yeah, so what I wanna leave you guys with [00:53:29] is the fact that everything that God creates [00:53:33] points to him, okay? [00:53:35] The creation points to the creator, not away from him. [00:53:40] And I think the biblical model like literally points to God. [00:53:45] And as Christians, we should be cautious [00:53:50] on creating entire belief systems [00:53:53] that are based on bias interpretations [00:53:56] of numbers, readings, and measurements. [00:53:58] Especially when those interpretations [00:54:00] go against the scriptures and are in direct opposition [00:54:05] to our daily lives. [00:54:07] So ultimately, we have to make a choice [00:54:12] whether we're gonna believe theories [00:54:13] that are backed by scripture, logic, and experimentation, [00:54:17] or we're gonna go with culturally inspired artwork [00:54:20] that we see on screens and in textbooks. [00:54:23] So I believe that we should prove all things, [00:54:26] hold fast to that which is good. [00:54:27] And when science and scripture clash, [00:54:31] we should embrace the creator, not the culture. [00:54:33] Thank you. [00:54:49] Amen, amen. [00:54:50] Give him another round of applause. [00:54:52] He deserved it. [00:54:55] What a beautiful family you have, brother. [00:54:57] God's blessed you. [00:54:59] That's so awesome. [00:55:00] Doing your part to replenish the earth [00:55:03] with true biblical cosmology believers. [00:55:08] And Jessica too will tell her the same, you know. [00:55:11] But yeah, it was great. [00:55:13] We went out to Fort Worth, Dallas area, [00:55:16] and married Matt and Jessica. [00:55:19] Gosh, that was 2019. [00:55:21] Boy, y'all got a crew, man. [00:55:23] Whoo, that is so awesome. [00:55:26] That's a blessing. [00:55:26] You got many weapons there in your quiver, right? [00:55:30] All right, we're gonna take, it is now. [00:55:32] Well, guess what? [00:55:33] How did you get through earlier? [00:55:35] Oh, by the way, let me just say this. [00:55:36] Matt's got a book out there and he, [00:55:39] it's really, it's illustrated by Paint Tank [00:55:41] and you wanna share about that? [00:55:44] Yeah, sure. [00:55:45] You can, I sell it on Amazon. [00:55:47] So you could search Matt Long, [00:55:48] the house that Jesus built, [00:55:49] or you just go to mattlongbook.com [00:55:51] and it'll take you straight to the listing there. [00:55:54] Yeah. [00:55:55] Thanks for coming, Bruce. [00:55:56] Yes.
