[00:00:00] Lord, we thank you for your Holy Spirit. [00:00:03] Lord, we thank you for the Spirit of truth. [00:00:06] And Lord, we just ask you to bless today, [00:00:09] Lord, your people that are here, [00:00:10] those who are watching and listening, [00:00:12] Lord, I ask you to touch people, [00:00:14] Lord, all over this country [00:00:17] and in different countries across the world. [00:00:18] We thank you for each and everyone. [00:00:21] We ask you to touch them, speak to their heart. [00:00:24] Lord, even the skeptic this morning, [00:00:25] even the unbeliever, even the Christian [00:00:28] who doesn't really believe the Bible, [00:00:30] Lord, we ask you to touch every heart, [00:00:33] change hearts, change lives and move each and everyone [00:00:36] into faith, true faith in your word. [00:00:40] We thank you for the truth [00:00:41] and we pray it all in Jesus name. [00:00:44] Well, all right, well, we're gonna get started this morning. [00:00:46] Of course, we've been doing a series [00:00:50] on biblical creation and why that's important, [00:00:53] calling it the sevenfold doctrine of creation [00:00:57] from a prophecy in the book of Enoch. [00:00:59] And also, I believe from the scriptures [00:01:01] and Daniel and Psalm 33, we covered that a few weeks ago. [00:01:06] But this week we've entitled this, [00:01:09] the firmament and clueless pastors. [00:01:13] Now, I did this not to pick on pastors. [00:01:17] There's some pastors out there that are good. [00:01:20] They just haven't really studied this information. [00:01:23] They don't have a revelation on it. [00:01:25] They don't see the importance of it. [00:01:27] And they've been so brainwashed by so many years [00:01:30] of public education and government propaganda [00:01:36] that they've tried to interpret the Bible [00:01:39] through modern science and modern cosmology. [00:01:46] But there's a difference. [00:01:47] There are many pastors out there [00:01:49] who have heard the truth about this [00:01:54] and yet still reject it or act ignorant [00:01:58] or try to come up with other explanations. [00:02:01] One of the most sad explanations [00:02:03] that you're gonna hear in a minute [00:02:05] is that basically the writers of the Bible, [00:02:09] particularly the book of Genesis, [00:02:11] which would be Moses, who was on the mountain with God, [00:02:16] he didn't know what he was writing. [00:02:18] He was just writing from his perspective. [00:02:21] And so the Bible is wrong [00:02:23] when it comes to the description of creation, [00:02:27] the heavens and the earth [00:02:28] and the sun and the moon and the stars. [00:02:30] And it's a really sad state of affairs [00:02:33] if that is what you believe [00:02:35] because I'm gonna tell you right now, [00:02:37] you don't believe the Bible. [00:02:39] Now we're gonna cover some scriptures [00:02:40] before we get into this. [00:02:42] Let's read this passage here, very important. [00:02:46] We try to just beat this into my ministry school students, [00:02:51] this particular passage here [00:02:53] because it really is the basis of everything. [00:02:57] And to me, I just don't get it. [00:02:58] I thought when I got saved, [00:03:00] when I really was repented of my sin [00:03:02] and knew Jesus came into my heart [00:03:05] and I started reading the Bible, [00:03:07] I just thought believing the Bible [00:03:09] is the inspired infallible word of God [00:03:11] was part of the package. [00:03:13] And so I read scriptures, passages like this, [00:03:17] and I believe them. [00:03:18] And over now, 32 plus years of study in the Bible [00:03:22] and studying history and studying archeology [00:03:25] and studying Hebrew and Greek language and everything else, [00:03:29] I've come to more believe [00:03:31] that the Bible from Genesis to Malachi, [00:03:34] the Old Testament, Matthew to Revelation, [00:03:36] the New Testament, [00:03:37] I believe they are the inspired, [00:03:40] God-breathed, infallible words of God, [00:03:43] the truth that they are correct, inerrant. [00:03:46] There's not error in the Bible. [00:03:48] If you find an apparent contradiction, [00:03:51] then it's something you don't understand [00:03:53] either in the language or the context [00:03:55] or of the whole thing. [00:03:56] And every time you reconcile those things, [00:03:59] guess what? [00:04:00] No contradiction. [00:04:01] But this is 2 Timothy 3. [00:04:04] I didn't put the first few verses, [00:04:05] but this is in context of Paul saying [00:04:08] that in the last days, perilous time shall come. [00:04:11] Now this is very important context. [00:04:13] In the last days, [00:04:14] which I believe we're living in the last of the last days, [00:04:18] Bible prophecy, the ones that have come to pass [00:04:20] and the ones that are in the process of coming to pass, [00:04:23] clearly bear that out [00:04:24] that we are in the time period [00:04:27] of the second coming of Jesus and the great tribulation [00:04:29] and the antichrist and all of that stuff. [00:04:32] But he said here [00:04:33] that in the last days, perilous times will come [00:04:36] and then we're gonna start reading at verse 12. [00:04:37] And he said, [00:04:38] yay, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus [00:04:41] shall suffer persecution. [00:04:44] But evil meant, [00:04:46] and you need to remember this verse. [00:04:47] I know I highlighted one verse, [00:04:48] but this verse is important. [00:04:50] But evil men and seducers [00:04:53] shall wax worse and worse, [00:04:55] deceiving and being deceived. [00:04:58] Boy, let that one sink in for a moment. [00:05:01] He said evil men and seducers [00:05:04] shall wax worse and worse, [00:05:07] deceiving others, [00:05:08] but being deceived themselves. [00:05:11] All right? [00:05:12] And he goes on to say to Timothy, the young pastor, [00:05:16] but continue thou in the things which thou has learned [00:05:20] and has been assured of knowing [00:05:22] of whom thou has learned them [00:05:23] and that from a child, [00:05:25] thou has known the holy scriptures [00:05:27] which are able to make thee wise into salvation [00:05:30] through faith, which is in Christ Jesus. [00:05:33] So the primary scriptures [00:05:35] that Timothy would have known as a child, [00:05:38] that his mother and grandmother would have taught him [00:05:40] would have been the Old Testament. [00:05:42] There may have been a few of Paul's early letters [00:05:45] written already that Timothy may have read [00:05:48] before he met Paul. [00:05:50] But clearly, [00:05:53] Paul saying evil men and seducers [00:05:56] are gonna wax worse and worse, [00:05:58] but the way that you keep from being deceived by them [00:06:01] is that you must continue in the scriptures, [00:06:06] continue in what you have learned [00:06:09] from the holy scriptures. [00:06:12] And then he adds this. [00:06:15] He says, verse 16, [00:06:18] all scripture is given by inspiration of God [00:06:22] and is profitable for doctrine. [00:06:24] Now, let me stop right there real quick. [00:06:27] First of all, when it says all scripture [00:06:29] is given by inspiration of God, [00:06:31] means that it is God breathed, [00:06:33] that God breathed upon a man [00:06:35] and moved him what to write down. [00:06:39] We have another verse we'll look at, [00:06:42] but the Holy Spirit, God's power, [00:06:45] God's anointing, God's spirit moved upon these men [00:06:49] that he, these different men, [00:06:50] he had write the Bible like Moses, [00:06:52] like Daniel, like Jeremiah, like Joshua, [00:06:56] on down the list, Ezra, Nehemiah. [00:07:00] I mean, we could go on down. [00:07:01] James, John, right? [00:07:04] Peter, the apostle Paul. [00:07:09] God breathed upon them. [00:07:10] The Holy Spirit moved upon them [00:07:11] and had them to write down exactly [00:07:16] what he wanted them to write down, [00:07:18] he says, because it's all profitable for doctrine. [00:07:22] What is doctrine? [00:07:23] Teaching, instruction. [00:07:25] In fact, the word doctrine means systematic study [00:07:29] of a truth through the whole scripture, all right? [00:07:33] So he says all scripture is given by God, [00:07:37] by inspiration of God, [00:07:38] and is profitable for doctrine. [00:07:40] Now, we have to ask ourself a question a minute. [00:07:43] Would there be any scripture in the Bible [00:07:46] then that would not be profitable, [00:07:49] that would not be truthful, [00:07:51] that would not be correct? [00:07:55] You see, this is where the problem is. [00:07:58] And this is why I'm gonna say that. [00:07:59] I had some pastor in Australia, [00:08:00] he's upset with me, [00:08:02] because he's like, you're making it, [00:08:03] you're making it us and them. [00:08:06] Yeah, because he said, [00:08:08] you're saying there are Christians that believe the Bible [00:08:10] and there's Christians who don't. [00:08:12] Exactly, exactly. [00:08:17] And a Christian who doesn't believe the Bible [00:08:19] is like a fish who doesn't believe in water. [00:08:23] You understand? [00:08:24] That's how important it is. [00:08:27] Let's keep reading this verse. [00:08:28] All scripture is given by inspiration of God [00:08:31] and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, [00:08:35] for correction, for instruction in righteousness, [00:08:40] for reproof. [00:08:41] Meaning, if you believe something's wrong, [00:08:43] I can take scripture and say, you're wrong. [00:08:47] I can take scripture and say, you're in error. [00:08:49] You're deceived. [00:08:51] You need to quit believing the lies of men [00:08:53] or the doctrines of men and believe God's word, [00:08:56] believe what God said, [00:08:57] believe the inspired, infallible word of God, the Bible, okay? [00:09:02] And today, mainly, I'm talking to Christians. [00:09:05] I wanna talk to Christians [00:09:06] because most Christians do not believe God's account [00:09:08] of creation. [00:09:10] They don't believe it because they've chosen to believe [00:09:13] evil men who are deceived and deceiving people. [00:09:18] Now, I wanna show you one of them. [00:09:21] My old buddy, Neil deGrasse Tyson. [00:09:27] People who make this case that that was the beginning [00:09:30] and that there had to be something [00:09:32] that provoked the beginning, [00:09:34] do you give them an A, [00:09:35] at least for trying to reconcile faith and reason? [00:09:39] I don't think they're reconcilable. [00:09:42] What do you mean? [00:09:43] Well, let me say that differently. [00:09:45] All efforts that have been invested [00:09:49] by brilliant people of the past [00:09:52] have failed at that exercise. [00:09:54] They just failed. [00:09:56] And so I don't, the track record is so poor [00:09:59] that going forward, I have essentially zero confidence, [00:10:03] near zero confidence that there will be fruitful things [00:10:07] to emerge from the effort to reconcile it. [00:10:11] So for example, if you knew nothing about science [00:10:16] and you read, say, the Bible, the Old Testament, [00:10:19] which in Genesis is an account of nature, [00:10:22] that's what that is. [00:10:23] And I said to you, give me your description [00:10:26] of the natural world based only on this. [00:10:30] You would say the world was created in six days [00:10:32] and that stars are just little points of light, [00:10:35] much lesser than the sun. [00:10:36] And in fact, they can fall out of the sky, right? [00:10:38] Because that's what happens during the revelation. [00:10:44] You're one of the signs that the second coming [00:10:46] is that the stars will fall out of the sky [00:10:48] and land on earth. [00:10:50] So to even write that means you don't know [00:10:54] what those things are. [00:10:55] You have no concept of what the actual universe is. [00:11:00] So everybody who tried to make proclamations [00:11:03] about the physical universe based on Bible passages [00:11:07] got the wrong answer. [00:11:08] So what happened was when science discovers things [00:11:12] and you wanna stay religious, [00:11:13] or you wanna continue to believe [00:11:15] that the Bible is unerring, what you would do is [00:11:19] you would say, well, let me go back to the Bible [00:11:20] and reinterpret it. [00:11:21] Then you'd say things like, [00:11:22] oh, they didn't really mean that literally, [00:11:24] they meant that figuratively. [00:11:25] So this whole sort of reinterpretation [00:11:28] of how figurative the poetic passages of the Bible are [00:11:33] came after science showed [00:11:37] that this is not how things unfolded. [00:11:40] And so the educated religious people [00:11:42] are perfectly fine with that. [00:11:44] It's the fundamentalists who want to say [00:11:47] that the Bible is the literally, literal truth of God [00:11:52] that, and want to see the Bible as a science textbook [00:11:56] who are knocking on the science doors of the schools, [00:12:00] trying to put that content in the science room. [00:12:03] Enlightened religious people are not behaving that way. [00:12:05] They're saying, yeah, science is cool, [00:12:07] we're good with that. [00:12:07] And use the Bible to get your spiritual enlightenment [00:12:11] and your emotional fulfillment. [00:12:13] I have known serious religious people, [00:12:15] not fundamentalists, who were scared [00:12:19] when Carl Sagan opened his series with the words. [00:12:24] The cosmos is all it is, or ever will be. [00:12:30] That scared them, because they interpret that to mean, [00:12:35] then if this is it, there's nothing else, [00:12:37] no God and no life after. [00:12:41] For religious people, many people say, [00:12:43] well, God is within you. [00:12:44] There are ways that people have shaped this [00:12:46] rather than God is an old gray bearded man in the clouds. [00:12:51] So if God is within you, what I'm sure Carl would say, [00:12:55] in you in your mind, in your mind, [00:12:57] and we can measure the neurosynaptic firings [00:13:00] when you have a religious experience, [00:13:02] we can tell you where that's happening, [00:13:03] when it's happening, what you're feeling like at the time. [00:13:06] So your mind, of course, is still within the cosmos. [00:13:08] But do you have any sympathy for people [00:13:11] who seem to only feel safe in the vastness [00:13:15] of the universe you describe in your show, [00:13:17] if they can infer a personal God [00:13:20] who makes it more hospitable to them, who cares for them? [00:13:22] In this, what we tell ourselves is a free country, [00:13:26] which means you should have freedom of thought. [00:13:29] I don't care what you think, I just don't. [00:13:34] Think whatever you want, go ahead. [00:13:38] Think that there's one God, two gods, [00:13:40] 10 gods, or no gods. [00:13:43] That is what it means to live in a free country. [00:13:47] The problem arises is if you have a religious philosophy [00:13:55] that is not based in objective realities, [00:13:57] that you then wanna put in the science classroom. [00:14:00] Then I'm gonna stand there and say, [00:14:02] no, I'm not gonna allow you in the science classroom. [00:14:05] I'm not telling you what to think, [00:14:06] I'm just telling you in the science class, [00:14:08] you're not doing science, this is not science, [00:14:11] keep it out. [00:14:12] That's where I, that's when I stand up. [00:14:15] Otherwise, go ahead, I'm not telling you how to think. [00:14:20] Here's another one of them. [00:14:21] The first one was, of course, Neil deGrasse Tyson. [00:14:24] This is Lawrence Krauss. [00:14:26] He's a professor of astronomy, theoretical physicists, [00:14:30] something of that nature at the Arizona State University. [00:14:33] Of course, he had so many sexual harassment suits, [00:14:36] they finally had to get rid of him. [00:14:38] He's quite the pervert and assaulter of women, [00:14:41] but he, this is what he said. [00:14:44] Here's another one, let's look at what he said. [00:14:46] But the amazing thing is that every atom in your body [00:14:50] came from a star that exploded. [00:14:52] And the atoms in your left hand probably came [00:14:53] from a different star than your right hand. [00:14:55] It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics. [00:14:59] You are all stardust. [00:15:00] You couldn't be here if stars hadn't exploded [00:15:02] because the elements, the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, [00:15:05] all the things that matter for evolution [00:15:08] weren't created at the beginning of time. [00:15:10] They created the nuclear furnaces of stars, [00:15:12] and the only way they can get into your body [00:15:14] is if the stars were kind enough to explode. [00:15:16] So forget Jesus, the stars died [00:15:18] so that you could be here today, okay? [00:15:20] I imagine that Jesus is gonna have something to say [00:15:24] about that to Mr. Krauss when he gets here. [00:15:26] Let's look at another passage here real quick. [00:15:28] This is 2 Peter 1, 19 through 21. [00:15:32] And again, I'm speaking to the choir today, [00:15:35] a little bit, the Christians. [00:15:37] But 2 Peter 1, 19 through 21 says, [00:15:41] we have also a more sure word of prophecy, [00:15:45] where until you do well that you take heed [00:15:47] as unto a light that shineth in a dark place [00:15:50] until the day dawn and the day star arise in your hearts. [00:15:54] Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scriptures [00:15:57] of any private interpretation, [00:15:59] for the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man, [00:16:03] but holy men of God spake as they were moved [00:16:06] by the Holy Ghost. [00:16:08] Now, this is what this says, all right? [00:16:12] And John, this is the prayer of Jesus. [00:16:16] Let's look at what the apostle John said, [00:16:19] that Jesus prayed. [00:16:20] And I'm not gonna read the entire prayer. [00:16:22] We're just gonna read verses 15 through 20. [00:16:24] Jesus prayed here, say, I prayed not [00:16:27] that thou shouldest take them out of the world, [00:16:30] but that thou shouldest keep them from evil. [00:16:32] They are not of the world, [00:16:33] even as I am not of the world. [00:16:34] Sanctify them through thy truth, [00:16:38] thy word is truth. [00:16:41] Now, here's Jesus praying to the Father, [00:16:44] and he's saying very clearly here, sanctify them [00:16:48] or make them holy, make them strong, [00:16:51] make them righteous through your word. [00:16:55] What word's he talking about? [00:16:57] The Bible, the words that God moved men of God [00:17:02] to write down, he says, sanctify them through thy word, [00:17:07] thy word is truth. [00:17:10] So several things we see here. [00:17:13] We see that the word of God is declared [00:17:16] to be inspired by him. [00:17:19] It's declared to be all of it. [00:17:21] All scripture is inspired by him, [00:17:23] and all scripture is profitable for doctrine, [00:17:27] for reproof, for correction, [00:17:29] for instruction in righteousness. [00:17:31] And here we see it again, Jesus praying this, [00:17:35] sanctify them, make them holy, make them righteous, [00:17:38] make them strong, through thy word, [00:17:42] thy word is truth. [00:17:44] So if what we have here, [00:17:46] the testimony of the scriptures saying [00:17:49] the scriptures are the truth, [00:17:51] not a suggestion, not what somebody thought, [00:17:56] not by the will of man, [00:17:59] but by God himself. [00:18:02] Now, this is what I am going to make clear today. [00:18:06] Neil is right that modern science, [00:18:10] much of it is not and cannot be reconciled [00:18:15] with what God says about it. [00:18:17] Notice that Lawrence Krauss there said [00:18:20] that everything was created when stars exploded. [00:18:24] Well, where did the stars come from, right? [00:18:26] And then of course, there's the big, [00:18:28] their whole big bang there, [00:18:30] there that basically somehow nothing exploded [00:18:32] into all the matter that is in their alleged universe. [00:18:37] It's ridiculous. [00:18:38] It is a religion, [00:18:40] because no one was there to witness that. [00:18:42] So it is a belief. [00:18:44] It is simply a belief. [00:18:47] So what we're talking about is [00:18:49] much of science has become a religion. [00:18:53] It is simply a religion, [00:18:56] because they have a desire [00:18:57] to not want to deal with the God of the Bible, [00:19:00] because he demands morality. [00:19:04] And a pervert like Krauss doesn't want morality. [00:19:07] And of course, he lives his life by what he believes, [00:19:10] that there are really no, [00:19:11] there's no moral accountability [00:19:13] to any God that he has to answer to. [00:19:16] So he can assault, you know, [00:19:18] little co-eds all he wants, I guess. [00:19:21] But let's keep going here. [00:19:23] Now, let's see, this is Jesus again, Matthew four. [00:19:27] And this is when Jesus was led into the wilderness [00:19:30] to be tempted by the devil. [00:19:31] We're just gonna read this. [00:19:32] Then was Jesus led up of the spirit into the wilderness [00:19:35] to be tempted of the devil. [00:19:37] And when he had fasted 40 days and 40 nights, [00:19:39] he was afterward hungry. [00:19:40] And when the tempter came, [00:19:41] he said, if thou be the son of God, [00:19:43] command that these stones be made bread. [00:19:45] But he answered and said, it is written, [00:19:47] man shall not live by bread alone, [00:19:49] but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. [00:19:52] Now here, he's quoting from Deuteronomy. [00:19:56] Now Jesus is speaking. [00:19:57] So obviously here, let me just pass this on [00:20:00] to some of these theologian friends of mine. [00:20:02] Jesus believed that the writings of Moses [00:20:08] were the inspired and followable word of God. [00:20:12] The writings of Moses, [00:20:13] the first five books of the Bible, right? [00:20:16] Which would include the book of Genesis. [00:20:19] All right, let's keep going here. [00:20:23] Several decades ago, we found a problem. [00:20:27] So great that it was brushed under the carpet [00:20:30] for many a decade. [00:20:31] And this is the fact that galaxies spin too fast. [00:20:34] We believe in the work of Isaac Newton, [00:20:37] at least on planetary scales. [00:20:39] But when you apply Newton's laws of motion [00:20:41] to the galaxy, the galaxy spins too fast. [00:20:43] In fact, 10 times too fast. [00:20:46] By rights, the galaxy should fly apart. [00:20:49] Therefore, scientists said that we have to have dark matter, [00:20:55] a halo of matter that surrounds the galaxy [00:20:58] and holds the galaxy together. [00:21:01] Between one and 3% of the universe [00:21:03] is all the stuff we can see. [00:21:04] And somewhere between 99 and 97% of the universe [00:21:08] is stuff we can't see. [00:21:11] This dark matter that dominates our galaxy, [00:21:13] we think, we're virtually certain now, [00:21:15] is made of some new type of elementary particle [00:21:17] different than the stuff that makes you and I out. [00:21:19] And what have they discovered? [00:21:21] Absolutely nothing, zilch. [00:21:24] What is a little bit perturbing [00:21:25] is that after 50 years, [00:21:26] we still haven't found what the dark matter is. [00:21:28] But on the other hand, [00:21:29] that doesn't mean they're not there. [00:21:30] It just means they're harder to find than we thought. [00:21:35] We look out in the universe, [00:21:36] and 85% of all the gravity that's out there [00:21:40] has some mysterious unknown source. [00:21:42] We add up all the stars, the galaxies, the planets, [00:21:45] the comets, the black holes, the dark clouds, [00:21:48] everything out there that we can see, touch, [00:21:50] smell, or taste. [00:21:52] And it doesn't add up to give us the gravity [00:21:55] that we see operating in this universe. [00:21:57] So really, we should be calling it the dark force, [00:22:01] because we don't know if it's made of matter. [00:22:03] It could be a profound misnomer, [00:22:05] sending people off in thought directions [00:22:07] that might not really be the right path. [00:22:10] So dark matter is just simply what we call [00:22:12] this thing about which we know nothing, [00:22:15] responsible for 85% of the gravity of the cosmos. [00:22:18] We've known about dark matter since the 1930s. [00:22:23] Back then, it was called missing mass. [00:22:25] That's what it was called, [00:22:26] because yeah, there's gotta be some mass. [00:22:28] Where is it? [00:22:29] We can't find it. [00:22:29] It's gotta be here somewhere, [00:22:30] because we got the gravity. [00:22:32] If you have the gravity, you gotta have the mass. [00:22:34] Mass and gravity go together. [00:22:36] It's really dark gravity. [00:22:38] Actually, we shouldn't call it anything. [00:22:40] We should call it Fred. [00:22:42] Something that has no meaning, [00:22:44] because we don't know what it is to call it, [00:22:46] but it is the longest standing unsolved problem [00:22:51] in modern astrophysics. [00:22:53] Dark matter, dark energy. [00:22:54] Everything we know about the universe, [00:22:57] what we're made of, galaxies, stars, planets, [00:23:00] that's all right here. [00:23:04] So according to this chart, we are 96% stupid. [00:23:09] So the problem with cosmology [00:23:10] is that we keep inventing theories, ad hoc theories, [00:23:15] to try to explain the data, [00:23:17] such as inflation, dark matter, dark energy, and so on, [00:23:22] just to keep patching the theory up. [00:23:25] There is a crisis in cosmology. [00:23:28] Usually in science, if we're off by a factor of two [00:23:31] or a factor of 10, we call that horrible. [00:23:34] We say something's wrong with the theory. [00:23:36] We're off by a factor of 10. [00:23:38] However, in cosmology, we're off by a factor of 10 [00:23:41] to the 120. [00:23:44] That is one with 120 zeros after it. [00:23:49] This is the largest mismatch [00:23:51] between theory and experiment in the history of science. [00:23:56] This right here is mind-blowing [00:24:01] when you really consider what they're saying. [00:24:05] These are astrophysicists. [00:24:06] These are award-winning astronomers and cosmologists, [00:24:11] Krauss and Tyson and Michio Kaku here. [00:24:15] And they say in the area of cosmology, [00:24:18] we are off by a factor of 10 with 120 zeros beside it. [00:24:27] And then they tell us that they only understand [00:24:30] about 4% of what's going on in the whole universe. [00:24:34] So they say, according to Quoting Neal, [00:24:37] they're 96% stupid, right? [00:24:40] I'm just gonna put it to you today. [00:24:42] I think they're 99.9999% stupid. [00:24:46] But how can, you think about these statements [00:24:50] that they made a minute ago, [00:24:51] like Krauss and Tyson did about stars exploding [00:24:54] and that you came from Stardust [00:24:56] or the Bible doesn't know what it's talking about. [00:25:00] They don't know what those things are yet. [00:25:01] They're gonna sit here and tell us [00:25:03] that they're 96% stupid, that they don't know what, [00:25:07] they don't even know what dark matter is, [00:25:09] that their system of gravity and mass [00:25:11] and Newton's universal laws of gravitation don't work. [00:25:17] I mean, do you understand? [00:25:18] That's what they just said. [00:25:19] This stuff doesn't add up, doesn't work. [00:25:21] Our system that we came up with over the last 500 years [00:25:26] doesn't work. [00:25:28] It doesn't make sense. [00:25:30] It doesn't equal what we see. [00:25:33] Now granted, let me just tell you this. [00:25:34] What they're seeing is they are seeing stars [00:25:38] and clusters of stars and clouds [00:25:41] and things like that that are out there. [00:25:43] But I'm gonna get into that probably more [00:25:46] when I get into the sun, moon and stars part of this [00:25:49] and talk about what they're actually seeing [00:25:52] because they're the ones blowing it all out of proportion. [00:25:57] Those things, they are seeing stars and clusters of stars [00:26:00] and even nebula, which are cloudy areas. [00:26:04] And the Bible speaks of these things. [00:26:06] It speaks of the dark clouds. [00:26:07] It speaks of star clusters, Orion and the Pleiades [00:26:11] and all these different ones. [00:26:13] It speaks of these things, but the point is, [00:26:15] it's just they're the ones magnifying it [00:26:19] to this massive, vast universe. [00:26:22] You know, if you think about Genesis 1, [00:26:23] just real quick, something about the sun and the moon. [00:26:25] God said he made the sun, moon and stars. [00:26:28] He said he made two great lights, the sun and the moon. [00:26:32] And he made the stars also, right? [00:26:34] We're gonna read that in a minute. [00:26:35] Well, then these guys come along and tell us, [00:26:37] oh, there's stars out there that are just, [00:26:39] they're like our sun, but they're huge, they're massive. [00:26:43] They're way bigger than our sun. [00:26:45] Wait a minute. [00:26:46] God said he made two great lights, sun and moon. [00:26:49] Yet they come up and say, [00:26:50] no, some of the stars are suns [00:26:52] and they're bigger than our sun. [00:26:54] They just make up stuff and they make up stuff [00:26:58] because of what these little twinkles of light [00:27:01] they see out there and they make this stuff up. [00:27:03] And I'm gonna show you that. [00:27:04] I'm gonna show you where all this stuff originated from. [00:27:07] And in the next few weeks, we'll be getting into that. [00:27:11] But I just wanted you to hear that. [00:27:12] But the missing mass thing is interesting. [00:27:14] And the thing that they talk about, [00:27:16] it's like there's gotta be a halo of matter [00:27:18] and holding the stars and the sun and the moon. [00:27:22] Well, guess what? [00:27:23] It's called the firmament, folks. [00:27:25] And it is mass, it is solid. [00:27:27] And they don't understand that that's what they're seeing. [00:27:30] And that's what they're having to see through. [00:27:33] And they're trying to figure it out with these telescopes. [00:27:37] But let's get to, I'm gonna get to them in the weeks ahead [00:27:41] with the sun moving stars. [00:27:43] We're gonna really break down some stuff going on. [00:27:48] We're gonna break down Einstein and Hubble [00:27:50] and all of that fun stuff, dark energy, dark matter. [00:27:55] We're gonna break it down. [00:27:56] But let's listen to this. [00:27:58] This fellow, I mentioned this a couple of times. [00:28:00] And that's the reason I entitled today's message [00:28:03] The Firmament and Clueless Pastors. [00:28:05] You're gonna hear here, this is gonna be quite disturbing [00:28:09] because this guy just kind of randomly calls pastors [00:28:13] in different parts of the country [00:28:15] and asks them a simple question, what is the firmament? [00:28:19] And the answers that he got, [00:28:20] and I won't even have time to play them all. [00:28:23] There's so many. [00:28:24] But the answers he got blows my mind. [00:28:28] He got everything from the firmament was the earth [00:28:31] to the firmament is outer space, [00:28:34] to the firmament is just something [00:28:37] that they conjured up in their heads [00:28:39] because they didn't know any better. [00:28:42] I mean, that's some of it. [00:28:43] But let's listen to this. [00:28:44] Let's listen to this right here. [00:29:08] Good afternoon with Fulberry Church. [00:29:10] Hi, can I speak to the pastor, please? [00:29:13] May I ask his calling? [00:29:14] Yeah, this is Nathaniel. [00:29:19] Nathaniel? [00:29:20] Yes, ma'am, I'm actually calling out of state. [00:29:23] I've just got a question. [00:29:24] In regards to the book of Genesis, [00:29:26] I'm a follower of Christ [00:29:27] and I have been reading Genesis [00:29:30] and I figured a pastor would be the most qualified [00:29:33] to help me out. [00:29:34] I've just got one question about a particular verse. [00:29:37] I definitely don't want to waste anyone's time. [00:29:41] Okay, all right. [00:29:42] Hold on just a minute, please. [00:29:43] Thank you. [00:29:51] Hello. [00:29:52] Hey, sir. [00:29:53] Hello. [00:29:54] Hey, my name is Nathaniel. [00:29:55] How you doing? [00:29:57] I'm doing well. [00:29:58] Hope you are. [00:29:58] I'm doing great, sir. [00:29:59] I'm doing great. [00:30:00] I was telling the receptionist, [00:30:01] I definitely don't want to take up too much of your time. [00:30:04] I've just got a particular question [00:30:06] about the biblical definition of a word [00:30:09] that I'm seeing in the book of Genesis. [00:30:11] So if you've got just a moment, [00:30:13] I read the King James version [00:30:15] and while reading Genesis chapter one, verse six, [00:30:19] it states that God placed a firmament [00:30:22] in the midst of the waters. [00:30:23] Now I'm just curious on the biblical definition [00:30:28] of that term. [00:30:29] And I felt that a pastor would be the most qualified [00:30:32] to help me out. [00:30:35] Okay, read it again. [00:30:37] So Genesis chapter one, verse six, [00:30:40] it says that God put a firmament [00:30:43] in the midst of the waters [00:30:44] to divide the waters from the waters. [00:30:49] Right. [00:30:51] The word firmament literally just means [00:30:54] the dome shape of the sky. [00:30:59] Okay. [00:31:01] So it's a division between the heavens and the earth. [00:31:06] Yeah, water's in the waters. [00:31:09] Water's in the water. [00:31:10] So when it says that there's water above the firmament, [00:31:15] what does that mean exactly? [00:31:18] Because I know there's water in the sky, [00:31:22] but I don't think there's water above the sky. [00:31:27] And I'm just really curious as to what that means. [00:31:33] Well, it's a good question. [00:31:36] One I've never really thought about a whole lot. [00:31:39] Why are you asking? [00:31:40] What is the purpose of your inquiry? [00:31:43] Well, I'm actually just really interested [00:31:45] in capturing the visualization of that depiction [00:31:50] because I am aware that Genesis is the story of creation. [00:31:54] And I'm just trying to wrap my head around, [00:31:56] like I said, that visualization [00:32:00] of that portion of scripture. [00:32:04] I'm a follower of Christ. [00:32:05] I've been reading the Bible for about three years now. [00:32:13] But man, well, I appreciate all your time, Pastor. [00:32:20] Well, I wish I could be more help. [00:32:22] Let me say you're Genesis chapter one, verse six. [00:32:28] Right, that's what you said. [00:32:29] Yes, sir. [00:32:41] Okay. [00:32:44] Yeah, that's a good question [00:32:45] as far as exactly what it means [00:32:47] dividing the waters from the waters. [00:32:51] It goes on to say that he called the firmament heaven [00:32:55] in verse eight. [00:32:58] Right. [00:32:58] It's really a stumbling block that I've encountered [00:33:01] within the past couple of days. [00:33:07] Like I said, man, I really appreciate it. [00:33:10] The literal definition of firmament [00:33:12] is the dome shape of the sky. [00:33:14] The word that's translated firmament [00:33:17] literally means like the dome shape of the sky. [00:33:19] You go out at night and you look up [00:33:21] and you can see the dome shape of the sky. [00:33:25] That's the literal definition of that word [00:33:28] in the Hebrew. [00:33:30] But as far as exactly what he meant [00:33:32] by the division of the waters and the waters, [00:33:34] I'll be honest with you, I'm not sure. [00:33:39] Okay, Pastor. [00:33:40] Well, man, like I said, I appreciate you taking my call [00:33:43] and spending the time to at least try to help. [00:33:46] So that means a lot to me. [00:33:49] Well, you're welcome. [00:33:51] All right, brother, you have a great day. [00:33:53] You too. [00:33:54] Bye-bye. [00:34:13] Hello. [00:34:15] Can I speak to Pastor Booth? [00:34:17] Yes, this is the Pastor. [00:34:19] Hey, how's it going? [00:34:21] Hey, I'm good. [00:34:22] Who's this? [00:34:23] This is Nathaniel. [00:34:24] We haven't spoken before, everyone. [00:34:28] No, I don't think, which church are you calling for? [00:34:31] Because my phone number's on my old church too, I think. [00:34:34] Still. [00:34:37] I was actually just calling to speak to a pastor. [00:34:39] It's remarkable that a pastor answered the phone. [00:34:43] Oh, well, yeah, no, no, no. [00:34:45] I got time. [00:34:46] What can I do for you? [00:34:47] I don't think we've ever talked before. [00:34:49] Okay, great, great. [00:34:50] Well, I definitely don't want to take up [00:34:52] too much of your time. [00:34:53] I've just got a question. [00:34:54] Yeah. [00:34:56] So, you know, I'm a follower of Christ [00:34:58] and, you know, I've been reading Genesis a lot lately [00:35:02] and there's a word that's kind of sticking out to me, [00:35:06] Pastor, and that is the firmament. [00:35:08] Now, do you happen to know the biblical definition [00:35:11] of the firmament because it's kind of giving me [00:35:13] a stumbling block? [00:35:14] Yeah, no, that's an entry [00:35:17] because that's one of those older words [00:35:18] we don't really use anymore. [00:35:20] It basically just means earth, you know, [00:35:23] the ground we walk upon. [00:35:25] Firmament just is a, I'm sorry, [00:35:27] I don't have a definition in front of me, [00:35:29] so that's why I'm stumbling. [00:35:31] But my understanding of it is it just means [00:35:34] earth itself was known as the firmament. [00:35:37] So, you know, nature all around us. [00:35:39] Does that make sense? [00:35:42] Yes, it does. [00:35:44] It definitely does. [00:35:45] Especially considering it says that, you know, [00:35:48] there's water above and below the firmament. [00:35:51] So if the firmament is the earth, [00:35:53] that definitely makes sense. [00:35:56] Yeah, and you'll, and a few of the older hymns [00:35:58] and some of our hymns, you'll see that word occasionally. [00:36:02] That's what that means. [00:36:03] But I'm just curious, how'd you find my phone number? [00:36:06] Because I don't know you, do I? [00:36:08] No, actually, I literally googled it. [00:36:11] Well, I'm glad to be of help. [00:36:14] And if, do you have any other questions I can help with? [00:36:18] Yeah, man. [00:36:19] So, yes, piggybacking off of the firmament being the earth, [00:36:25] how would you explain the two great lights [00:36:28] being in the firmament? [00:36:30] Because it does state that the sun and the moon [00:36:33] are in the firmament. [00:36:35] Now that's interesting, because it's been a, [00:36:39] do you know what verse that is in front of you? [00:36:42] Yeah, it's actually right in the first couple of verses [00:36:45] in chapter one, starting at verse six, [00:36:49] and then down it starts at verse 14, [00:36:54] when it states that there's lights in the firmament. [00:36:57] Here, let me look, because I actually had a, [00:37:00] so are you using the King James version? [00:37:04] Yes, sir, that's the one that I subscribe to. [00:37:06] Okay, good, that's fine. [00:37:08] I have a different translation. [00:37:10] So mine actually, and I guess this is just [00:37:12] a modern interpretation of the firmament. [00:37:14] So you take what this is, or take it for what it is, [00:37:17] but mine says dome, that we're under the dome [00:37:22] from the waters that were above. [00:37:25] That's a, huh, let there be lights in the dome [00:37:28] of the sky to separate the day from the night, [00:37:31] and let them be for signs and seasons for days and years. [00:37:35] Huh, lights, and that's an interesting one. [00:37:38] Now I wonder, and this is just me thinking, [00:37:40] I've never actually had anyone ask me this part before. [00:37:44] Do you think, or, well, I gotta imagine, [00:37:48] they didn't, you know, the writers didn't really [00:37:50] understand space, right, at that time? [00:37:53] You know what I'm saying? [00:37:54] So maybe they took it as the lights were up in the sky [00:37:57] when really they're outside the earth. [00:37:58] Does that make any sense at all? [00:38:01] Definitely, if they're saying that the sun and the moon [00:38:05] are in the sky, so yours says dome. [00:38:11] Yeah, and I don't really know why it says, [00:38:15] I guess dome is in a sense the shape, [00:38:18] well, half the earth at least, you know? [00:38:22] Yeah, that still doesn't narrow it down [00:38:24] as to why the sun and the moon would be. [00:38:27] No, no, no, no, no, not at all. [00:38:29] Here, let me, because I have a steady Bible [00:38:31] in front of me, I can, yeah, I mean, if you've got a second, [00:38:33] I'll check to see if it speaks to that. [00:38:38] All right, so I'm just gonna read it for what it says. [00:38:42] And this is for verses six to eight, [00:38:44] the little commentary says, [00:38:45] a pre-scientific understanding of the universe [00:38:48] pictured a dome canopy, [00:38:49] so that's where the dome comes from, I guess, [00:38:52] or a multilayered sky supported by mountains and so on. [00:38:57] The sun, moon, and stars were thought to cross this dome [00:39:00] in regular patterns, and the waters were, [00:39:03] the water was held in chambers above the dome [00:39:06] from which it occasionally fell in rainfall. [00:39:11] That's interesting. [00:39:12] I guess it's talking about, [00:39:13] before we really understood what the earth looked like, [00:39:17] the fact that it was a huge ball, right? [00:39:20] I think it's saying the ancient biblical writers, [00:39:23] they described it to the best of their possible ability. [00:39:26] So the dome, their understanding of it was, [00:39:30] it was just kind of a dome that lights flashed through. [00:39:33] Does that make sense? [00:39:35] To an extent, so the writers, excuse me, [00:39:39] so the writers, they were basically writing [00:39:42] on their own interpretations rather than God's. [00:39:46] Well, I wouldn't say that, I would say, [00:39:49] okay, were you ever studied the book of Revelation? [00:39:54] You know, I've never really studied [00:39:58] the book of Revelation. [00:40:00] Well, and this may not make a whole lot of sense, [00:40:03] but there's a lot of weird sounding stuff [00:40:07] in that book, right? [00:40:09] And the way I've had it explained to me before, [00:40:12] I'm a Methodist, but one of my mentors [00:40:14] was a Southern Baptist pastor, [00:40:16] and the way he explained it to me [00:40:18] was that a lot of the stuff in the book of Revelation [00:40:21] doesn't make sense to us [00:40:23] because it's how the biblical writers were describing things. [00:40:26] So like a lot of what John saw [00:40:28] when he wrote the book of Revelation, [00:40:30] he didn't know how to explain [00:40:32] because it was, he was looking into the future in a sense. [00:40:35] God was taking him to the future. [00:40:37] And the book of Revelation, John wrote down the best, [00:40:41] or wrote down descriptions to the best of his ability. [00:40:44] So there's references, I think, [00:40:46] to dragons spitting out fire, right, [00:40:48] in the book of Revelation. [00:40:50] Well, some people believe [00:40:52] that John tried to interpret what he saw, [00:40:54] meaning like a tank shooting out fire, [00:40:56] you know, at the end times. [00:40:58] And you took that from what you will. [00:41:00] But what I'm trying to say is that the biblical writers, [00:41:03] they were obviously inspired by God, [00:41:05] and these are his words to them. [00:41:07] So it's all in terms of when this was written. [00:41:11] Do you get a little bit of what I'm saying, at least? [00:41:15] Slightly, yeah. [00:41:17] You know, I guess what I take from what you've said thus far [00:41:20] is be weary of how you interpret the writers, [00:41:26] particularly creation, Genesis, because they didn't know. [00:41:31] So they were just, [00:41:33] I don't want to say wrong, but incorrect, [00:41:39] which is interesting, [00:41:40] because obviously we know that there's no dome over the years. [00:41:43] Right. [00:41:44] And it's not even, and I get what you're saying, [00:41:46] it's not even necessary that they were incorrect, [00:41:49] but that's, well, in a sentence, they're incorrect, [00:41:52] but that's what they knew is truth at that time. [00:41:55] And that's not, you know, [00:41:56] that doesn't take away from the fundamental truth [00:41:59] of God's word or anything. [00:42:00] It's just at that time, you know, [00:42:02] how could they know what the world looks like? [00:42:04] Because you look up in the sky, [00:42:06] it looks like, you know, from first glance, [00:42:09] if we didn't know what it was, it looks like a dome, right? [00:42:12] So, and it's not that they can't be trusted, [00:42:15] it's more we just have to understand when they were writing. [00:42:20] So once we understand their depictions, I guess, [00:42:23] of the earth and the depiction of the firmament, [00:42:26] how does that then, I guess, [00:42:31] transform or change the way we read and interpret it? [00:42:40] And it really, you know, when it comes down to it, [00:42:43] it really shouldn't change it. [00:42:45] It's just, you know, making things a little clearer [00:42:47] in terms of, because fundamentally the fact [00:42:51] that it's not a dome, you know, [00:42:53] that doesn't change the message [00:42:55] of what creation was all about, [00:42:57] or in the end doesn't change the message [00:42:59] of what the Bible is for us. [00:43:02] I could give you many more. [00:43:03] I know that was a little long, [00:43:04] but I wanted you to hear two pastors, [00:43:08] different parts of the country. [00:43:11] The last fellow says he was a Methodist, [00:43:13] but trained by, mentored by a Southern Baptist pastor. [00:43:18] And I know the other one was a Baptist church, [00:43:22] but you hear, got complete either, [00:43:26] I have no clue what this is, the firmament, [00:43:30] or the writers weren't really inspired by God. [00:43:34] They didn't have, it wasn't revelation from God [00:43:37] about creation. [00:43:39] It was just them giving their own interpretation [00:43:42] with what little knowledge that they had. [00:43:45] And he gets the guy, the pastor to say, [00:43:51] well, the Bible must be incorrect [00:43:53] because now we know the earth's a ball [00:43:55] and there's outer space and all this stuff. [00:43:57] So the Bible's incorrect. [00:43:58] Now, this right here is an absolute disgrace [00:44:03] to anyone that calls themselves a Bible-believing Christian. [00:44:08] Because first of all, [00:44:09] comparing the symbolic prophetic language in Revelation [00:44:15] that actually has very specific things it's referring to, [00:44:19] to creation is, first of all, a terrible error [00:44:24] because number one, we have to ask, [00:44:29] well, if the firmament is some kind of symbol, [00:44:32] if it's some kind of symbolic language or poetic language [00:44:38] or figurative language that we don't understand [00:44:41] in the context of Genesis one, [00:44:43] well then is the, verse one, it says, [00:44:46] in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. [00:44:48] Well, is the earth figurative? [00:44:50] Is the earth figurative? [00:44:53] How about the sun and the moon? [00:44:54] Are they just figurative poetic language? [00:44:56] Are they not literal things? [00:44:58] So what I'm getting at is if the earth is literal [00:45:01] in Genesis one and the heaven is literal [00:45:05] and we see that the creation of the sun, moon and stars [00:45:09] and the grass and the trees and the animals [00:45:12] and then man, you know, then Adam and Eve, [00:45:16] if those things are literal, [00:45:18] why would the firmament be figurative [00:45:21] or why would it be wrong? [00:45:24] Why would the firmament itself be wrong? [00:45:26] The reason is is because they have chosen to believe [00:45:30] the liars and the deceivers [00:45:33] and the deception that Satan has pulled off [00:45:35] with his accomplices in this world [00:45:38] is pretty sophisticated and pretty, [00:45:41] he's put on a good show. [00:45:43] I mean, it's the Wizard of Oz. [00:45:44] He's fooled everybody, right? [00:45:46] But recently, in recent years, [00:45:48] Toto has pulled back the curtain, right? [00:45:51] And that's what's happening. [00:45:55] The Nikon P900 is starting to pull back [00:45:57] the curtain even further. [00:45:59] Let's go to Genesis and let's see [00:46:02] if we can define the word firmament biblically, [00:46:05] but let's read it. [00:46:06] And so this is what I'm talking about. [00:46:08] The way we interpret scripture is first of all context. [00:46:13] We look at the context and just like I said, [00:46:16] the context of this entire chapter are literal things. [00:46:19] In fact, if you go down to, you know, [00:46:21] when it talks about on the sixth day [00:46:23] and God creating Adam and Eve, [00:46:26] creating mankind there, [00:46:28] Jesus referred to this in Matthew five [00:46:32] when he was talking about divorce and remarriage. [00:46:33] He said, in the beginning, it was not so. [00:46:36] God created a male and female. [00:46:38] And so Jesus referred to this as a literal event, [00:46:43] as real, Jesus, right? [00:46:46] In Matthew five referred to Genesis one is real. [00:46:49] I remember one of my pastors back in the day, [00:46:51] Dr. Larry Lee, this is a sad commentary [00:46:54] and I've shared this before, [00:46:55] but I have to because it comes up with Genesis one. [00:46:59] He said he was in one of the leading [00:47:02] Baptist seminaries in the country, [00:47:04] Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. [00:47:07] I mean, it's like the Mecca for the Baptist, right? [00:47:10] It is their flagship school. [00:47:15] And he said, he was in, I guess he was in graduate, [00:47:21] you know, PhD classes, probably either, [00:47:25] somewhere in the seventies, mid to, you know, mid seventies. [00:47:32] And he said that in one of his classes, [00:47:34] the professor said this, [00:47:35] the first 11 chapters of Genesis is a true myth. [00:47:39] He said the theological implications are true, [00:47:42] but there probably wasn't ever a man named Adam. [00:47:44] There probably wasn't ever a man named Noah. [00:47:47] And Larry Lee said, he raised his hand. [00:47:50] He said, well, Jesus thought they were real [00:47:52] and Paul said they were real. [00:47:53] And the professor said, [00:47:54] they just didn't have the information that we have today. [00:47:59] Now that right there is demonic. [00:48:02] That right there is demonic deception. [00:48:05] That right there is a rejection of the Bible. [00:48:09] And that guy, you know, that professor, [00:48:12] he could have been a Jesuit infant, [00:48:14] or just a deceived individual. [00:48:17] But let's read this. [00:48:19] Let's just read Genesis a little bit here. [00:48:21] All right. [00:48:22] Says here, Genesis one, in the beginning, [00:48:25] God created the heaven and the earth [00:48:27] and the earth was without form and void [00:48:29] and darkness was upon the face of the deep [00:48:32] and the spirit of God moved upon the waters. [00:48:34] Now did that happen or did it not happen, Christian? [00:48:37] Did it happen that way or did it not happen that way? [00:48:39] Is this just a poem? [00:48:42] Is this just figurative language? [00:48:45] Is this just a man's idea of how it happened? [00:48:47] Or was Moses on the mountain with God [00:48:49] and God told him how it happened? [00:48:52] Folks, you need to, if you're a Christian, [00:48:53] you better snap out of this, [00:48:55] believe in the world over God. [00:48:57] All right, let's keep reading. [00:48:59] God said, let there be light and there was light. [00:49:01] Well, I guess because there's light now, [00:49:03] we can believe that's literal. [00:49:05] All right, God saw the light that it was good [00:49:08] and divided the light from the darkness [00:49:10] and God called the light day [00:49:11] and the darkness he called night [00:49:12] and the evening and the morning were the first day. [00:49:14] Oh, wait a minute, wait a minute. [00:49:16] We have light, but we don't have any sun, moon or stars. [00:49:20] Whoa, whoa, wait a minute. [00:49:22] Isn't that, wait, wait, wait, wait. [00:49:23] Didn't Lawrence Krauss tell us [00:49:25] everything came from the stars first? [00:49:28] We, you know, it's ridiculous. [00:49:30] Here we go though. [00:49:32] So we've got a literal creation [00:49:34] in Genesis one coming down, [00:49:36] literal heaven and earth, literal water, literal light. [00:49:42] And then we have this pesky little thing here [00:49:44] in verse six. [00:49:45] It's pesky little problem. [00:49:48] And God said, let there be a firmament [00:49:50] in the midst of the waters [00:49:52] and let it divide the waters from the waters. [00:49:54] And God made the firmament [00:49:56] and divided the waters which were under the firmament [00:49:58] from the waters which were above the firmament [00:50:01] and it was so. [00:50:03] And God called the firmament heaven [00:50:05] and the evening and the morning were the second day. [00:50:08] Now, remember the Bible over and over uses the term heavens, [00:50:12] plural heavens and the earth. [00:50:16] In fact, the word shama'im means it's plural. [00:50:20] It's a plural Hebrew word meaning basically shama' the sky [00:50:24] and maim the water, sky water, all right? [00:50:28] So basically God created the heavens and the earth [00:50:31] by dividing this water [00:50:35] and by dividing these waters [00:50:37] with this thing called the firmament, [00:50:38] he created something above, waters above. [00:50:42] And then he created an atmosphere, [00:50:45] the open aspect of heaven, one heaven. [00:50:48] Our atmosphere is the first heaven. [00:50:52] As you're gonna see, the firmament is also called heaven. [00:50:55] So it's the second heaven. [00:50:57] And then above that, the waters, the dark waters [00:51:00] that says that God rides upon, sits upon, [00:51:03] the Bible says, those waters and then you have [00:51:08] would be the third heaven where God's throne is. [00:51:11] So, I remember when I first started preaching this, [00:51:15] I said, you know, if there's waters above our atmosphere, [00:51:21] there's an ocean of water above our atmosphere, [00:51:25] then has anything ever left our atmosphere? [00:51:33] No, not Apollo anything, not Mercury anything, [00:51:37] not Gemini anything, not Sputnik anything, [00:51:42] not Cosmonaut anything. [00:51:44] And right now, somebody sent me, a paint tank [00:51:47] sent me a video of a Russian cosmonaut [00:51:49] saying that they did not go to space. [00:51:52] I'm having the Lieutenant Colonel's Fluid and Russian [00:51:55] check that for me before I talk about it and confirm it. [00:51:59] But there's a lot of people out there that can speak Russian [00:52:02] so I don't think they'd be trying to fake it. [00:52:04] But we'll find out for sure here shortly. [00:52:06] But they didn't, there's no space out there. [00:52:10] There's our atmosphere, all right? [00:52:13] There's a level and I'm gonna talk about it, [00:52:15] about the ether, about a denser area of gas, [00:52:20] fluid like gas that we're gonna talk about [00:52:22] that gets up there pretty high. [00:52:24] But going outside, going 240,000 miles away [00:52:29] to the moon, the alleged moon [00:52:31] that's that far outside of our atmosphere, [00:52:34] or going to Mars with a rover or sending out, [00:52:40] you know, all this stuff, no, they don't do any of that. [00:52:43] And of course, I can prove that [00:52:44] by their own declassified documents. [00:52:47] But let's keep looking at this thing, the firmament. [00:52:52] I've heard everybody say this now, [00:52:54] this is one of the things that gets on my nerves the worst [00:52:57] is when somebody says, well, this is outer space, okay? [00:53:02] Well, okay, if it's outer space [00:53:04] where they say the stars and the sun and the moon are, [00:53:09] where's the water above that? [00:53:12] I mean, Dr. Danny Faulkner of Answers in Genesis [00:53:16] tries to say there must be water outside of our universe. [00:53:20] I mean, that's where he goes with it. [00:53:22] Because they try to define this word as an expanse, [00:53:27] just an empty expanse, but that's not what it is. [00:53:29] So we're gonna look at it. [00:53:31] Let's look at the next few verses here before we move on. [00:53:35] So God said, let the waters under the heaven [00:53:38] be gathered together into one place [00:53:39] and let the dry land appear, and it was so. [00:53:41] So the dry land appeared, God called the dry land earth [00:53:45] and the gathering together the waters, [00:53:47] and God saw that it was good, [00:53:50] and God said, let the earth bring forth grass [00:53:52] and herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit [00:53:56] after his kind whose seed is in itself upon the earth [00:53:59] and it was so, and the earth brought forth grass [00:54:02] and herb yielding seed after his kind, [00:54:04] and the tree yielding fruit whose seed was in itself [00:54:06] after his kind, and God saw that it was good. [00:54:09] Now again, are these literal things? [00:54:11] Dry land, grass, trees, fruit trees with seeds in them. [00:54:16] Pretty specific. [00:54:17] I don't think it's poetic or figurative. [00:54:20] And then he says here, that was the evening morning [00:54:22] where the third day, and God said, let there be lights [00:54:25] in the firmament of the heaven [00:54:27] to divide the day from the night [00:54:29] and let them be for signs and for seasons [00:54:32] and for days and for years, [00:54:34] and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven [00:54:38] to give light upon the earth and it was so. [00:54:41] So let there be lights in the firmament. [00:54:44] Let's keep reading here. [00:54:45] God made two great lights [00:54:47] and the greater light to rule the day [00:54:49] and the lesser light to rule the night [00:54:51] and he made the stars also. [00:54:52] So he made two great lights, not a bunch of massive suns [00:54:55] spread out over an ever expanding universe. [00:54:58] That's not what he's teaching here. [00:55:00] And God set them, and this is important, [00:55:03] God set them, we're gonna talk about this more [00:55:05] in the days ahead, but just remember this, [00:55:08] God set them, he established them, [00:55:10] he placed them in the firmament of heaven, [00:55:17] of the heaven to give light upon the earth [00:55:19] and to rule over the day and over the night [00:55:21] and to divide the light from the darkness [00:55:22] and God saw that it was good [00:55:24] and the evening and the morning were the fourth day. [00:55:26] Then he adds something here and he says this, [00:55:30] and God said, let the waters bring forth abundantly [00:55:32] the moving creature that hath light [00:55:34] and the fowl that fly above the earth [00:55:37] in the open firmament of heaven. [00:55:40] So he talks about the firmament that divides [00:55:42] the waters above from the waters below, [00:55:45] but the open firmament was created by that dividing wall. [00:55:49] So he's saying this is open. [00:55:51] So it's very important to understand that. [00:55:56] So he's calling our atmosphere a heaven, [00:55:58] he's calling the firmament itself [00:56:00] that created that atmosphere by dividing the waters [00:56:02] and the waters a heaven. [00:56:04] And then there's what Paul said [00:56:05] when he went to the throne of God, [00:56:08] he calls it the third heaven. [00:56:09] That's what the Bible teaches. [00:56:11] Now let's keep going. [00:56:14] Now this is Dr. Michael Heiser, [00:56:16] this is a short clip from him. [00:56:18] Dr. Heiser with Logos Bible Software, [00:56:21] he's a PhD, Hebrew, he's a professor, he teaches. [00:56:25] Here's what's sad. [00:56:27] He actually teaches what the Bible teaches about [00:56:31] biblical cosmology, biblical creation. [00:56:34] He actually teaches it correctly, [00:56:35] but he doesn't believe it. [00:56:37] He believes that they were just using terms [00:56:41] that they knew, that these truths, [00:56:43] that these words about the firmament, [00:56:45] about the earth and how God describes it in Genesis 1, [00:56:49] he believes that to all just be [00:56:53] the how Moses saw it with his own eyes, [00:56:56] not a revelation of God's truth about it. [00:57:00] So let's listen here to Dr. Heiser. [00:57:04] Israelite cosmology has three tiers. [00:57:08] This is the Ten Commandments passage. [00:57:10] You shall not make for yourself a carved image [00:57:12] or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above [00:57:15] or that is in the earth beneath [00:57:17] or that is in the water under the earth. [00:57:21] Three levels. [00:57:24] New Testament is the same, Philippians 2.8 verse 10. [00:57:27] So that the name of Jesus, every knee should bow [00:57:30] in heaven and on earth and under the earth. [00:57:34] What, like the worms? [00:57:35] No, we're gonna see what they were thinking here. [00:57:40] Revelation five, heaven, earth, under the earth. [00:57:43] It's a three-tiered cosmology. [00:57:46] This is what it would look like. [00:57:49] I didn't make this graphic, which is why it looks cool. [00:57:54] Somebody gave this to me because they hated, [00:57:56] honestly, at Western, they hated the one I used [00:57:59] and so they gave me this. [00:58:02] This is a three-tiered cosmology. [00:58:05] There's God. [00:58:06] We're gonna see it in the verses. [00:58:07] I'll show you that God lives above the vault of heaven, [00:58:11] the firmament, and in the firmament you have windows [00:58:15] and doors, and you have the earth. [00:58:19] We're gonna see verses that talk about the ends [00:58:22] of the round, flat earth here. [00:58:24] Underneath is Sheol. [00:58:26] Sheol can be both the grave [00:58:29] and it can also be the underworld, okay? [00:58:31] It's not quite hell, but it's sort of like hell. [00:58:36] We can talk a little bit about it. [00:58:38] And then underneath that, we have the great deep. [00:58:41] These are all scriptural terms that are on this map. [00:58:44] This is what an Israelite, [00:58:46] an Egyptian would have had different terms, [00:58:48] but the same three-tiered level, [00:58:50] same with the Mesopotamians. [00:58:52] Now they have, theologically, [00:58:53] they have dramatically different views [00:58:55] of what's going on here. [00:58:57] Not just who made it, but what's going on. [00:58:58] Views of afterlife, the value of humanity. [00:59:01] I mean, it's dramatically different. [00:59:03] And I've made the comment before, [00:59:05] Genesis is about theological messaging, [00:59:09] and there are some dramatic differences [00:59:12] in what Israel is saying, the Bible is saying, [00:59:15] and anything else. [00:59:17] I just wanted you to see [00:59:18] that this is what Dr. Heizer teaches. [00:59:22] Just typed it in. [00:59:23] And actually, I typed this firmament in there [00:59:26] to get a picture for today. [00:59:30] And this popped up immediately right here. [00:59:32] I've typed in firmament. [00:59:33] It said, in biblical cosmology, [00:59:35] the firmament is a vast, solid dome created by God [00:59:39] on the second day to divide the primal sea, [00:59:43] called Tihon, into upper and lower portions [00:59:47] so that the dry land could appear. [00:59:49] Now, how is it that everything, [00:59:52] everybody gets this right, [00:59:53] but they just don't wanna accept it, right? [00:59:55] Let's read these verses again. [00:59:57] I brought these up the other day. [00:59:58] This is Proverbs 8, 26 through 29, Amplified Bible. [01:00:02] When he established the heavens, [01:00:04] eye wisdom was there. [01:00:05] When he drew a circle upon the face of the deep, [01:00:08] that's when he gathered the waters. [01:00:09] He created the boundary [01:00:11] to gather the waters into one place, right? [01:00:14] That's what we read in Genesis a minute ago. [01:00:16] So that was when he drew the circle upon the deep. [01:00:19] When he made firm, the skies above. [01:00:22] When he made firm. [01:00:24] Is there anything firm about air? [01:00:27] Anything firm about air, people? [01:00:30] Now, air's not very firm, right? [01:00:33] And we're gonna find out firm, firmament. [01:00:35] It's why they use such words. [01:00:38] But when he made firm the skies above, [01:00:40] when the fountains and springs of the deep, [01:00:43] became fixed and strong, [01:00:44] when he set for the sea its boundary, [01:00:46] so that the waters would not tread its grass, [01:00:48] the boundary set by his command, [01:00:50] when he marked out the foundations of the earth, [01:00:54] which go down, foundations go down under, [01:00:57] they go down deep. [01:00:58] You don't usually see any of the foundation [01:01:00] of a house or a building, because they're under. [01:01:03] But let's keep going. [01:01:04] So there's your ends of the earth, [01:01:08] but we'll get to that too in the days ahead. [01:01:10] Just to show you, this was the same thing from Genesis. [01:01:13] The Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. [01:01:16] What did Proverbs say? [01:01:17] He drew a circle on the face of the deep, right? [01:01:20] And he said, let there be a firmament. [01:01:22] And so that's when he made the sky, [01:01:24] a firm, solid sky to divide the waters from the waters. [01:01:27] And then he gathered together the sea in one place, [01:01:30] said, let there be dry land. [01:01:33] All right, there you have it. [01:01:36] Now let's keep going. [01:01:39] Boom. [01:01:40] All right, we've already read that. [01:01:43] Let's keep going. [01:01:45] Now, the theory that many pastors have believed [01:01:49] in one of the calls that Nathaniel did, [01:01:51] I don't know who Nathaniel is, [01:01:53] but I love his telephone calls. [01:01:56] One of them brought up the canopy theory, [01:01:59] and that's what I heard when I was a young preacher [01:02:03] in my 20s from Dr. Karl Baugh [01:02:05] and Creation Museum, I think he had. [01:02:09] But their idea was that the waters above, [01:02:12] that the firmament was basically [01:02:14] a vapor water canopy over the earth, [01:02:17] and that Noah's flood that God condensed [01:02:21] that vapor canopy and made all that water [01:02:23] come down upon the earth, and that's what caused [01:02:26] or helped cause the flood of Noah, [01:02:28] but that it doesn't exist anymore. [01:02:31] All right, so basically, they made the firmament water, [01:02:35] and then after the flood, they made it disappear. [01:02:39] But when I started studying this [01:02:41] and delving into this, we see here that, [01:02:46] this is from Genesis 7.11, [01:02:48] that the windows of heaven were opened [01:02:50] to let this water in, and the windows of heaven [01:02:53] were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained. [01:02:55] So it talks about the windows of heaven [01:02:57] were bringing in water, and there was rain from heaven. [01:03:01] It's two different things. [01:03:03] Rain comes from clouds, but there was water [01:03:05] from above the firmament, the water's from above. [01:03:08] That's why the doors and windows were opened. [01:03:10] Now, the canopy theory people, like Dr. Karl Baugh, [01:03:15] they would say that that's why we had the flood. [01:03:19] Well, you got a little problem biblically speaking, [01:03:22] because the Holy Spirit inspired King David [01:03:26] to write 1,500 years later after the flood, [01:03:30] King David wrote in around 1,000 B.C., [01:03:34] Psalm 148, praise him, ye heavens of heavens, [01:03:38] and ye waters that be above the heaven. [01:03:42] So it's really clear here that David, [01:03:46] by Holy Spirit revelation, understood [01:03:49] there was waters above the heavens still. [01:03:53] So the canopy theory goes out the window [01:03:56] with this passage, and of course, [01:03:59] David in Psalm 18, it's also, this is a verse, [01:04:02] it's also in Samuel, says he, speaking of God, [01:04:06] made darkness his secret place. [01:04:08] His pavilion round about him were dark waters. [01:04:14] I didn't write that, and thick clouds of the skies. [01:04:19] All right, so the Bible talks about [01:04:23] these waters being above, all right? [01:04:28] Now, again, this is what Dr. Heiser was showing, [01:04:31] but this is what the Bible teaches. [01:04:35] You go ahead and accept it. [01:04:37] You can throw the Bible out and say, [01:04:38] I don't believe it, I believe NASA worshipers, [01:04:41] and the Church of NASA, and the Church of the Eastern, [01:04:46] I mean, the European Space Agency, [01:04:49] you can worship at their altar, [01:04:51] but this is what your Bible teaches, [01:04:53] whether you like it or not. [01:04:54] It does not teach the earth is a ball, a sphere. [01:04:59] It doesn't teach that there's outer space, [01:05:02] as you've been taught to believe. [01:05:05] It doesn't teach any of that. [01:05:07] It doesn't teach that the sun and the moon are far away, [01:05:11] they are close and smaller, [01:05:12] the stars are closer and smaller, [01:05:14] and we're gonna, like I said, we're gonna get to all that. [01:05:17] But the firmament is there, it is a solid structure. [01:05:21] Now, let's look at this. [01:05:22] The word for firmament and the Hebrew. [01:05:26] So, if we're gonna define a word, [01:05:27] one of the first things we do, [01:05:30] we look at its context, we've looked at Genesis 1. [01:05:33] Of course, that's not the only place firmament is used. [01:05:35] We'll see that in a minute. [01:05:37] But, rakia is the word firmament, [01:05:40] the root word is raka, okay? [01:05:43] Basically, rakia is the noun, [01:05:46] raka is the verb, [01:05:49] kinda like where we have command and commandment. [01:05:51] Commandment is a noun, command is the verb, right? [01:05:55] I command you, that would be a verb. [01:05:57] But notice it's the same, pretty much the same letters. [01:06:00] Reshkufayin is raka, [01:06:03] and then rakia is reshkufayin, all right? [01:06:08] So, basically just one letter difference, [01:06:10] but pretty much most Hebrew words anyway have the same, [01:06:14] have all have like a three-letter root word, [01:06:18] almost all of them. [01:06:19] What's interesting is the word resh here, [01:06:21] just to give you what the letters mean, [01:06:22] the pictorial, paleo-Hebrew letters mean, [01:06:25] that means the highest, resh means the highest, [01:06:29] kuf means the dome, [01:06:32] and ayin means to behold with the eye, [01:06:38] basically behold the high dome is what that breaks down there. [01:06:44] And then rakia would be the high dome [01:06:48] by the hand of God behold, [01:06:50] so that's the only difference in the actual letters [01:06:52] and what they mean, but that's the root word. [01:06:55] Now here, I'm going to say this as clearly as I can, [01:06:59] I've said it in our last two conferences, [01:07:01] Skyfall 2018, Skyfall 2019, I've repeated it [01:07:06] because people just can't seem to get it [01:07:09] and we have creation ministries [01:07:11] and people like Dr. Danny Faulkner who keep saying, [01:07:14] all firmament means is an expanse, [01:07:17] it means an expanse, an empty expanse. [01:07:19] I have heard this and I heard this [01:07:20] and in the bad translations of the Bible [01:07:23] taken from the Alexandrian texts, [01:07:25] like the New American Standard, [01:07:27] the Revised Standard, the NIV, [01:07:30] and a lot of them, they will use the term expanse. [01:07:33] I'm gonna tell you right now that is incorrect translation [01:07:37] of the word rakia and raka as to what they mean, [01:07:41] it is not an expanse, it means something solid [01:07:46] that has been expanded by force, [01:07:50] by pounding or beating it out. [01:07:53] Let's look at this, rakia, now this, [01:07:55] this will tell you, see the New American Standard [01:07:57] renders this thing says correctly as expanse, [01:08:01] it's incorrect, then it contradicts itself [01:08:03] and says literally an expansion of plates, [01:08:07] broad plates beaten out. [01:08:10] So this word rakia or raka literally interpret [01:08:13] means to beat out something that's solid [01:08:17] and in fact, it's used that way [01:08:20] in every verse that it's used in, all right? [01:08:24] It's used in beating something, [01:08:26] I had Mr. Faulkner, me and him go back and forth sometimes [01:08:30] out there in the world, [01:08:33] but I had him point out, well, not every verse, [01:08:36] one of them is him beating the earth, [01:08:40] still beating out something solid, right? [01:08:43] It's almost like, come on, dude, is that all you got? [01:08:46] You know, get rid of your little teddy bear [01:08:53] and your little Freemason pins and stop playing games. [01:08:58] The word raka, the verb raka acquires the sense [01:09:02] of beating out precious metals [01:09:05] and of spreading that, spreading that results [01:09:09] to spread over, overlay. [01:09:11] So again, rakia literally means [01:09:14] the expansion of plates, broad plates. [01:09:18] So rakia would mean something, if it's a noun, [01:09:22] it means something that has been beaten out and expanded, right? [01:09:28] Raka is the verb to beat out precious metals. [01:09:33] So this is what the word means, it does not mean expanse. [01:09:36] Now you have the Browns driver, Briggs, [01:09:40] they start out saying extended surface, [01:09:43] solid expanse as if beaten out. [01:09:46] Again, they tell you that it's an expanse [01:09:50] because it's something solid that's been expanded. [01:09:53] It's been beaten out, but it tells you something solid. [01:09:58] If you go down to the second thing there, [01:10:01] it says the vault of heaven or firmament regarded [01:10:05] by the Hebrews as solid and supporting the waters above. [01:10:09] And you have a little picture here [01:10:10] of somebody taking a sheet of metal, something solid, [01:10:14] beating it or thinning it out to expand it [01:10:16] and to curve it into a dome shape. [01:10:19] All right, this is what you have here. [01:10:22] All right, Job 37, 18. [01:10:25] Now this is where we're gonna start. [01:10:26] He says, Hast thou with him, [01:10:29] just remember these phrases, spread out the sky, [01:10:33] which is strong and as a molten looking glass. [01:10:37] Now, remember he said he made the skies firm. [01:10:40] It's a firmament, it's solid, [01:10:42] it has windows and doors to let in water. [01:10:45] It supports water, water's heavy, eight pounds a gallon. [01:10:50] All right, water's very heavy. [01:10:52] But he says here, Hast thou with him, [01:10:53] spread out the sky, which is strong [01:10:57] as a molten looking glass. [01:11:00] All right, now some people say, [01:11:01] well, that's just Job's friend talking. [01:11:03] He didn't know what he's talking about. [01:11:04] Well, but see, here's the thing. [01:11:06] They say the same thing about Moses. [01:11:07] He didn't know what he's talking about. [01:11:11] I believe that they knew what they were talking about, [01:11:13] but let's look at this right here. [01:11:14] Spread out is, guess what? [01:11:18] It's the word, raka, the verb, meaning what? [01:11:23] To beat, stamp, beat out, spread out, [01:11:25] stretch, to stamp, beat out. [01:11:27] And then he tells you right here in the Strong's definition, [01:11:30] to pound the earth by analogy, [01:11:32] to expand by hammering, [01:11:34] to overlay with thin sheets of metal, [01:11:38] to make broad, to spread abroad, [01:11:40] to spread forth, to spread over, [01:11:43] to spread out, to spread into plates. [01:11:48] This is the picture. [01:11:49] Now again, if we can't let words be defined [01:11:53] as they really are, then we have a problem. [01:11:56] We will never know the truth. [01:12:00] Let's keep going. [01:12:02] This right here, he goes on. [01:12:04] This is the Gensenius Hebrew Calvary dictionary [01:12:07] to this, he spread out by beating, [01:12:09] to spread out like God did the earth, [01:12:12] to tread down, to spread out by beating as a thin plate. [01:12:15] Hence, to overlay with a thin plate, [01:12:17] to spread out with a hammer, to spread out. [01:12:21] So over and over again, to spread out, [01:12:23] to expand something that's solid. [01:12:26] That's the definition of rockia and rocka. [01:12:30] Now, you get this verse is very interesting here. [01:12:33] Let's read this, Isaiah 25, six through nine. [01:12:37] Now this is an end time prophecy [01:12:40] and it's in the context of end time prophecy [01:12:42] because you're gonna see it says [01:12:43] when God's gonna wipe away all tears. [01:12:45] This is the same verse used in the book of Revelation [01:12:48] at the very end when it says God wipes away [01:12:50] all tears from our eyes. [01:12:51] So Isaiah 26, nine, and in this mountain, [01:12:55] shall the Lord of hosts make unto all people [01:12:58] a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the leaves [01:13:01] and a fat things full of morrow [01:13:03] and of wines and leaves well refined. [01:13:05] And of course, this is, I believe this is referring [01:13:07] to the marriage supper and its second coming. [01:13:09] Why? [01:13:10] Because he says right here, verse seven, [01:13:11] now pay attention, he says he will destroy [01:13:14] in this mountain the face of the covering, [01:13:18] the covering cast over all people [01:13:22] and the veil that is spread over all nations. [01:13:27] But I see that. [01:13:28] And then he says, and he will swallow up death and victory [01:13:31] and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces [01:13:34] and the rebuke of his people, [01:13:36] shall he take away from off all the earth [01:13:39] for the Lord hath spoken it. [01:13:41] Now, this is clearly end times. [01:13:43] He's saying here though, pay attention right there. [01:13:46] He's gonna remove or destroy the covering [01:13:50] that's cast over all people [01:13:52] and the veil that is spread over all the nations. [01:13:55] So let's look up these words real quick. [01:13:58] So the word veil here, it says a pouring, a libation, [01:14:03] molten metal, a cast image. [01:14:07] You see that? [01:14:07] Molten metal. [01:14:09] Wait a minute, didn't we read something [01:14:10] about molten glass? [01:14:13] Molten, you know, there's, what is it? [01:14:16] Crystals like is made out of, [01:14:18] there's metal and there's glass, lead glass. [01:14:23] I know you've heard of that, lead crystal. [01:14:25] And so he's talking about molten [01:14:27] and even here it says the word, it's masaka [01:14:30] and it's a pouring over, a fusion of metal, [01:14:33] especially a cast image poured out, molten image. [01:14:37] So he's saying, again, the picture we get of this veil [01:14:41] that's over all the nations is what? [01:14:45] Molten metal, right? [01:14:50] Solid. [01:14:52] The term spread out here is interesting [01:14:56] because it just means to interweave, [01:14:59] to overspread through the idea of fusion. [01:15:03] What is fusion? [01:15:06] Something you do with what? [01:15:08] Metals, right? [01:15:11] To cover or protect a covering. [01:15:16] So you see, let's go back to our verse. [01:15:18] He will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering [01:15:21] cast over all the people [01:15:22] and the veil that is spread over all nations. [01:15:25] This is referring to the firmament [01:15:27] that's over all the earth, all the people, all the nations. [01:15:32] And here in Revelation 6, at the sixth seal, [01:15:35] at the second coming of Jesus, here's what it said. [01:15:38] And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal [01:15:40] and lo, there was a great earthquake [01:15:42] and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair [01:15:44] and the moon became his blood [01:15:46] and the stars of heaven fell into the earth. [01:15:48] Yes, they're gonna fall, Neil. [01:15:51] Why are they gonna fall? [01:15:52] I believe the stars are set inside the solid firmament. [01:15:56] We're gonna talk about that. [01:15:58] But when the firmament begins to be broken up, [01:16:02] rolled back, destroyed, like he said, [01:16:06] God's gonna open it up, destroyed, [01:16:08] let it fall to the earth. [01:16:10] In fact, it's going to be the firmament [01:16:12] that actually destroys all the cities of the nations. [01:16:15] That's those hailstones that are gonna come down [01:16:18] and destroy everything. [01:16:20] Because he says here, [01:16:21] and the stars of heaven fell into the earth, [01:16:22] even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs [01:16:25] when she is shaken of a mighty wind. [01:16:27] Well, figs are, last time I checked, [01:16:30] they're attached to fig trees, okay? [01:16:34] And the heaven departed as a scroll [01:16:36] when it is rolled together [01:16:38] and every mountain and island were moved out of their places [01:16:40] and the kings of the earth and the great men [01:16:44] and the rich men and the chief captains [01:16:45] and the mighty men and every bond man, [01:16:47] every free man hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks [01:16:50] and said to the mountains and rocks, [01:16:51] fallen has hide us from the face of him [01:16:53] that sitteth on the throne and from the wrath of the lamb, [01:16:56] for the great day of his wrath has come. [01:16:58] Well, what's happening? [01:16:59] God's removing the veil that's over all the nations. [01:17:02] It's gonna crumble and fall. [01:17:04] And when it does, and if you look at the word depart here, [01:17:08] the word depart means he's gonna separate it. [01:17:10] He's gonna sever it. [01:17:11] He's gonna part it asunder. [01:17:13] He's gonna rend it. [01:17:14] That means to rip it open. [01:17:17] God himself is gonna rip open the firmament [01:17:20] and it is gonna begin to crumble and fall [01:17:23] upon the cities of the nations. [01:17:25] And then when that veil is removed [01:17:27] from over all the nations and all the peoples, [01:17:29] when they see him, they're gonna see the throne of God. [01:17:32] They're gonna see the Lord Jesus sitting on the throne. [01:17:39] And people say, if his throne's sitting on the firmament now, [01:17:42] how's it gonna sit? [01:17:43] Where's it gonna sit when he destroys it? [01:17:45] Hey, he can just make it hover. [01:17:47] I don't know how he's gonna do it or why he's gonna do it. [01:17:49] I just know this is what it says. [01:17:51] He's gonna destroy the veil. [01:17:53] He's gonna destroy this molten metal cast firmament, [01:17:58] this solid firmament. [01:17:59] And folks, how do you do that? [01:18:01] How do you roll back a scroll [01:18:03] if it's just some kind of an atmosphere? [01:18:05] Where's he coming from? [01:18:06] Where is he gonna be sitting that people are gonna see? [01:18:09] Is his throne just outside our atmosphere [01:18:11] and satellites have failed to pick it up? [01:18:17] Nothing in your Bible from Genesis to Revelation [01:18:21] teaches the nonsense that you are taught [01:18:23] in government public schools and by space programs [01:18:28] operated by Freemasons and Nazis, occultist. [01:18:35] Satanic people have brought you this whole belief system [01:18:40] about space and galaxies far, far away. [01:18:47] There's nothing far, far away. [01:18:48] Folks, God's not even far away. [01:18:50] And he said it in the book of Acts. [01:18:52] He is not far from any one of us. [01:18:56] He says he sits there and beholds us like grasshoppers. [01:19:01] He watches us from his seat on the firmament. [01:19:07] Y'all don't mind me preaching a little bit here. [01:19:10] Now, Danny Faulkner and people like him, [01:19:13] dishonest creationists, dishonest Christians, [01:19:15] basically liars, because that's what dishonest means [01:19:19] and liars go to hell, so you better stop lying. [01:19:22] Say there's no history, that this is not what they taught. [01:19:26] He actually, answers in Genesis actually goes to the place [01:19:31] and creation ministries will go to the place to say [01:19:34] that this is not what the ancient Hebrews believe. [01:19:37] This blows my mind. [01:19:38] They are so dishonest because they've got to cling [01:19:42] to their books and to their videos [01:19:46] and to their seminars and conventions [01:19:51] and their credentials instead of going by what the book says. [01:19:56] What the Bible says. [01:19:58] But here I pointed this out many times. [01:20:00] Josephus, first century Jewish historian, [01:20:02] the most respected first century [01:20:07] and early second century Jewish historian. [01:20:10] The one who testified about Jesus is well known [01:20:14] that he was probably more than likely a Pharisee [01:20:18] but definitely friends with the Pharisee. [01:20:20] So he had a good understanding of both the political [01:20:25] and the religious scene at that time. [01:20:30] And this is history. [01:20:32] Josephus has, there's more in Josephus [01:20:35] than we could go back into the wars of Caesar [01:20:38] or any of those other recorded history. [01:20:42] But anyway, Josephus says here, [01:20:46] and this is in book one, chapter one. [01:20:48] This is actually my copy of this book. [01:20:50] I have the actual book and I've had it for over 30 years. [01:20:54] I bought it right after I came back to the Lord. [01:20:57] In book one, chapter one entitled [01:20:59] The Constitution of the World and the Disposition [01:21:01] of the Elements, Josephus wrote. [01:21:04] And this, on the second day, [01:21:06] he got placed heaven over the whole world. [01:21:10] Didn't we just read that in Isaiah? [01:21:13] Heaven, one heaven was one of the heavens. [01:21:15] The firmament's called heaven. [01:21:17] He placed one of those heavens over the whole world [01:21:22] and separated it from other parts. [01:21:24] And he determined that it should stand by itself. [01:21:29] On what? [01:21:30] Foundations of the earth. [01:21:32] It's our roof. [01:21:33] Come on, folks, right? [01:21:36] He also placed a crystalline firmament round it [01:21:42] and put it together in a manner agreeable to the earth [01:21:46] and fitted it for giving moisture and rain [01:21:48] and for affording the advantage of dues. [01:21:50] And on the fourth day, he got adorned to heaven [01:21:53] with the sun and the moon and the other stars [01:21:57] and appointed them their courses. [01:21:59] I just want to start with that, their courses. [01:22:02] The sun, moon, stars, they move. [01:22:05] So here is real clear just from Josephus, [01:22:08] this was the understanding of the ancient Israelites. [01:22:13] This was the understanding at the time of Jesus. [01:22:17] You understand how important this historical, [01:22:21] this record of history from Josephus is. [01:22:24] He tells you, this is what we Jews believe. [01:22:28] Why did they believe that? [01:22:30] It's in the Bible. [01:22:32] It's in Genesis. [01:22:33] It's in Isaiah, right? [01:22:38] So Danny Faulkner saying, there's no history of this. [01:22:41] It's just dishonest. [01:22:42] It's a lie. [01:22:47] Gets me fired up. [01:22:50] On top of that, Mr. Faulkner should know [01:22:54] in the Septuagint version. [01:22:57] My students know when was the Septuagint version written, [01:23:01] put together, 250 to 248 BC, exactly. [01:23:08] All right, so that is, think about that. [01:23:10] The Septuagint version was just basically [01:23:14] King told me of Egypt, Philadelphia's, [01:23:17] King told me the second Philadelphia's of Egypt, [01:23:19] ordered about 70 Jewish scholars to put together for him [01:23:24] to take the Hebrew scriptures, the Hebrew Old Testament, [01:23:28] and to translate it into Greek, [01:23:30] to put it into the library of Alexandria. [01:23:33] And so when those Jewish scholars, [01:23:37] those Hebrew Israelite scholars, [01:23:42] translated the word firmament, [01:23:45] rachia, raka, Hebrew, into Greek, [01:23:52] in 250 BC, they chose the word stereoma. [01:24:00] There's Greek lexicon define stereoma as, quote, [01:24:04] that which has been made firm. [01:24:08] The firmament, the arch of the sky, [01:24:12] which in early times was thought to be solid, [01:24:16] a fortified place in early, [01:24:20] well, why was it thought that in early times? [01:24:22] Because folks hadn't had to believe the lies [01:24:24] and the CGI and the movies of NASA, all right? [01:24:31] The Strong's Concordance Greek dictionary [01:24:33] states that the root words of stereoma are, [01:24:36] stare-oo, or stare-oo, or however you say it. [01:24:42] And it means to solidify. [01:24:45] And stereos, which means stiff, solid, stable, [01:24:49] steadfast, strong, sure. [01:24:51] Does any of that sound like a thin vapor? [01:24:55] And since when, if our atmosphere is this thin vapor [01:24:58] of air, oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen, [01:25:04] how do you put that kind of atmosphere [01:25:07] up against an empty vacuum of space? [01:25:11] What is it, 10 to the negative 17 torr? [01:25:17] I mean, it doesn't even make any sense. [01:25:22] A gas, something that has gas and has pressure [01:25:28] has to have a container. [01:25:30] That's just basic. [01:25:33] What's that? [01:25:34] And water. [01:25:35] Yeah, and water, exactly. [01:25:38] So all of this is evidence. [01:25:39] Now, let's go back to the scriptures. [01:25:41] I know I gotta hurry. [01:25:42] I told y'all I was gonna take a bit to get through this. [01:25:45] But Ezekiel, if we go to the script, [01:25:48] what have we done? [01:25:48] We've gone to Genesis, right? [01:25:50] We've been in Genesis. [01:25:51] We've gone to Isaiah, right? [01:25:55] We've defined the word in multiple lexicons. [01:25:58] We've looked at historical references, all right? [01:26:02] From what the ancient Hebrews believed. [01:26:05] Here we have another passage talking about the firmament [01:26:09] and tells you the same thing you heard from Josephus [01:26:12] and some of these others that it is solid. [01:26:14] So let's read this. [01:26:15] This is Ezekiel chapter one. [01:26:17] He's talking about the living creatures that he saw. [01:26:20] And he said, when those went, these went, [01:26:22] when those stood, these stood. [01:26:24] And when those were lifted up from the earth, [01:26:26] the wheels were lifted up over against them [01:26:28] for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels. [01:26:31] Of course, this is where they try to talk about aliens, [01:26:34] but it's not. [01:26:35] But here's what he says about the firmament. [01:26:37] He says, and the likeness of the firmament [01:26:40] upon their heads of the living creatures [01:26:42] was as the color or the word color was [01:26:45] means the appearance of the terrible crystal [01:26:50] stretched forth over their heads above. [01:26:53] So he says the living creatures were where? [01:26:55] They were on the earth and they were being lifted up [01:26:59] from the earth. [01:26:59] And as they were being lifted up from the earth, [01:27:01] he saw what was over their heads and he called it what? [01:27:06] The firmament. [01:27:07] And he said the firmament, and if you do look, [01:27:10] in the King James, if you look up the word color, [01:27:12] it just means it has the appearance of, [01:27:14] the outward appearance. [01:27:15] He says of the terrible crystal [01:27:20] that is stretched forth over their heads above. [01:27:23] And then he talks about what's under the firmament. [01:27:25] Now notice this. [01:27:27] And he said, let's go down to verse 24. [01:27:29] And when they went, he said, [01:27:30] I heard the noise of their wings [01:27:32] like the noise of great waters [01:27:33] as the voice of the Almighty and the voice of speech [01:27:37] as the noise of a host. [01:27:38] And when they stood, they let down their wings. [01:27:40] And there was a voice from the firmament [01:27:42] that was over their heads. [01:27:43] And when they stood, and they had let down their wings. [01:27:48] And then of course he says he saw the likeness of a man [01:27:50] and a sapphire throne. [01:27:52] Now you get the same thing here in the Revelation. [01:27:54] Let's look at Revelation 4. [01:27:56] So Revelation 4, John sees the throne and what does he see? [01:28:02] After this, I looked and behold, [01:28:03] a door was opened in heaven. [01:28:05] And the first voice, which I heard, [01:28:07] as it were the trumpet talking with me. [01:28:10] So here's the voice of the Almighty, [01:28:12] just like Ezekiel did, right? [01:28:15] Saying, come up here, I will show you things [01:28:17] which must be hereafter. [01:28:18] And immediately I was in the spirit [01:28:20] and behold, a throne was set in heaven. [01:28:23] And one set on the throne and he that set upon it [01:28:26] was to look upon like Jasper and Sardine stone. [01:28:29] And there was a rainbow round about the throne [01:28:31] in the sight like unto an emerald. [01:28:33] And around about the throne were the four and 20 seats. [01:28:36] And upon the seats, I saw the four and 20 elders [01:28:38] sitting clothed with white raiment [01:28:40] and they had on their heads crowns of gold. [01:28:43] Now, first of all, remember our Methodist Baptist pastor [01:28:48] earlier said, there's a lot of weird things, Revelation. [01:28:50] This is not weird. [01:28:54] Heaven's a real place with real people [01:28:56] that have gone on before us. [01:28:58] There's 24 elders. [01:28:59] What's weird about them 24 guys sitting there [01:29:02] around the Lord with crowns on? [01:29:06] I don't think that's weird. [01:29:09] And again, he thinks it's weird. [01:29:13] But anyway, these elders had on white clothing [01:29:16] and crowns of gold on their heads [01:29:18] and out of the throne proceeded lightnings [01:29:19] and thunderings and voices. [01:29:21] There were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne [01:29:24] which are the seven spirits of God. [01:29:26] And before the throne was a sea of glass [01:29:32] like unto crystal. [01:29:36] Oh, Ezekiel said God was sitting upon the firmament [01:29:40] which is like molten glass. [01:29:44] Now Revelation, John goes to heaven [01:29:46] and sees the throne of God. [01:29:48] And he sees what? [01:29:51] Before him, before the throne, he sees what? [01:29:55] Before the throne, there was a sea of glass [01:29:59] like unto crystal. [01:30:02] Pretty clear. [01:30:05] See, this is why I believe you see this. [01:30:09] Anybody ever see this? [01:30:12] And immediately I was in the spirit, [01:30:14] behold, there was a throne set in heaven [01:30:15] and one that sat on the throne [01:30:17] and he that sat there was like in the Jasper [01:30:19] and Sardine stone. [01:30:20] And there was a rainbow round about the throne [01:30:23] in sight like unto an emerald green. [01:30:27] I do believe that the aurora borealis [01:30:29] because I believe the throne of God [01:30:31] is right above Polaris, the North Star, [01:30:36] the center of the flat circle of earth. [01:30:40] And that we are seeing, we are literally witnessing [01:30:44] the glory of God around his throne when we see it. [01:30:48] But the poo poo heads come along and say, [01:30:53] no, no, no, it's not. [01:30:59] What makes more sense to you? [01:31:04] Not the sun 93 million miles away with gamma radiation. [01:31:09] Oh, it's nonsense. [01:31:12] Why, I guess that's why they made the hulk green, right? [01:31:17] Let's look at this. [01:31:18] And above the firmament that was over their heads [01:31:20] was the likeness of a throne [01:31:21] as the appearance of what? [01:31:22] Sapphire stone. [01:31:23] So the throne itself, the molten glass, [01:31:28] the throne has the appearance of sapphire. [01:31:33] Sapphire stone. [01:31:34] Well, what does sapphire looks like? [01:31:37] Blue. [01:31:38] Wait a minute. [01:31:39] What do you mean the sky's blue? [01:31:41] Oh, okay. [01:31:45] And in Exodus 24, nine through 10, [01:31:49] says then went up Moses and Aaron and Nadab and Abihu [01:31:52] and 70 of the elders of Israel [01:31:53] and they saw the God of Israel. [01:31:55] They saw God. [01:31:56] So they go up and they have this open vision. [01:32:00] They are allowed to see God into heaven. [01:32:03] But now only part of him, [01:32:05] just like Moses only got to see part [01:32:07] because they couldn't see him fully. [01:32:09] All right, at that time. [01:32:12] And it says, and there was under his feet [01:32:14] as it were a paved work of sapphire stone. [01:32:19] So be where God's sitting [01:32:20] and where his feet are under his feet, [01:32:23] this pavement of sapphire stone. [01:32:27] Where did Ezekiel say his throne was sitting? [01:32:30] On the firmament. [01:32:32] That was like what? [01:32:33] Crystal glass. [01:32:36] God said, heaven is my throne [01:32:39] and earth is my footstool [01:32:42] because really the second heaven [01:32:45] or the firmament is connected to the earth. [01:32:47] It's part of the earth system. [01:32:50] All right. [01:32:52] So he says his sapphire stone [01:32:53] and he says, as it were, [01:32:54] the body of heaven in his clearness. [01:32:58] I talk about this in my book [01:32:59] that the word body means basically [01:33:01] it was the solid structure [01:33:02] like your bones are the solid structure [01:33:04] for your body, okay? [01:33:07] So he sees this. [01:33:09] Now here's the color of sapphire stones, right? [01:33:15] I wanna show you this little thing. [01:33:16] Somebody sent this to me. [01:33:17] This is when they detonated during Operation Dominick [01:33:21] and part of Operation Dominick was Operation Fishbowl, [01:33:25] which means Fishbowl of the Lord [01:33:27] when they decided to try to blow a hole in the firmament [01:33:30] and they realized that it was there [01:33:33] with a nuclear Thor nuclear missile. [01:33:35] What somebody said to me was they sent me this video, [01:33:38] which I've seen of the detonation, [01:33:40] the high altitude detonation [01:33:41] and they said, slow it down and look [01:33:46] and you'll see the blue firmament, the pavement. [01:33:52] And I was like, huh? [01:33:55] And I slowed it down and watched it, watch this. [01:34:34] And they happened to be kind of blue. [01:34:37] Do you think that's an accident? [01:34:45] Because if you detonated a nuke that high, [01:34:48] what's the first, the flash of light? [01:34:51] What does light do? [01:34:52] It illuminates what you can't see. [01:34:57] And look at there, I slowed it way down. [01:35:09] Now somebody could say, well, those are just clouds. [01:35:12] Well, why aren't they moving? [01:35:15] The explosion, you can see the particles [01:35:17] and it disturbing around it, [01:35:21] but it's like those center stones. [01:35:24] And remember he said it looked like pavement. [01:35:26] And so if you've seen stone pavement [01:35:28] or concrete block pavement, [01:35:32] you would get that where you had like in between [01:35:34] there would be like where there would be mortar [01:35:37] or different kinds of filling there. [01:35:41] But anyway, I thought that was very interesting. [01:35:44] I think we're getting a little glimpse [01:35:49] of the firmament by them trying to blow a hole in it. [01:35:54] Thank God that they didn't. [01:35:56] Idiots, if God would let that happen, [01:35:58] I guess we'd have had another flood of Noah. [01:36:02] But it's good that the firmament is strong, right? [01:36:06] And God said it's a demonstration of his power [01:36:08] and they realized they couldn't defeat it with a nuke. [01:36:11] And isn't it interesting, here they're gonna nuke, [01:36:13] they're gonna send up the high altitude nuclear weapon [01:36:16] and they call the operation Dominic and fishbowl, [01:36:19] which means dominant means of the Lord, [01:36:22] fishbowl of the Lord. [01:36:26] And a Thor missile, Thor being one of their demon gods [01:36:29] with a hammer to try to break it. [01:36:32] Didn't work, Thor failed. [01:36:34] God's stronger than Thor. [01:36:38] We don't need Odin, Thor, we have Jesus. [01:36:41] All right, and there's a little look at pavement. [01:36:45] I just typed in blue pavement. [01:36:47] Interesting, remember when I did the dome, [01:36:50] the throne in Skyfall and I played [01:36:52] the coming undone by corn. [01:36:57] They had blue chunks coming down like this, [01:37:02] the sky falling, yeah. [01:37:05] All right, here the gensinius Hebrew Calvary lexicon [01:37:07] defines Rocky as this. [01:37:09] Oh, look at this, I love this. [01:37:11] The firmament of heaven spread out like a hemisphere [01:37:14] above the earth, like a splendid, [01:37:17] hallucid, translucently clear, transparent, [01:37:20] crystalline, glassy, allowing the maximum passage [01:37:24] of light as glass translucent, [01:37:27] sapphire stone to which the stars were supposed [01:37:31] to be fixed and over which the Hebrews believed [01:37:34] there was a heavenly ocean. [01:37:37] So here's the definition from again another lexicon [01:37:42] and it talks about it being blue stone [01:37:45] that's translucent, that allows light to pass through it. [01:37:50] All right, just interesting stuff here. [01:37:57] All right, and of course I shared this at Skyfall [01:38:00] but they've had mysterious pieces of stone [01:38:02] have been discovered in different parts of the world [01:38:05] that just happens to be made up of what was it, [01:38:09] 70 something percent oxygen, let me see here. [01:38:15] Yeah, an Italian geologist discovered one in one place, [01:38:19] another lady discovered one in another place [01:38:21] but anyway, it's very interesting. [01:38:28] And what's interesting is that the legends behind this, [01:38:34] the old ancient legends say that the angels [01:38:41] were expelled to earth and became statues [01:38:44] but these did not arrive at earth alone [01:38:46] according to legend, a great portion of the sky [01:38:49] and stars fell with the angels on earth [01:38:52] and the eyes of the natives, this explains [01:38:53] why the region is so rich in minerals and diamonds. [01:38:56] But we know around the fall of Satan [01:38:59] but that goes back a little bit. [01:39:01] But again, you can look all this up. [01:39:06] I don't wanna spend too much time on that. [01:39:09] What's interesting and it does say this about it, [01:39:11] so is this blue sky stone a piece of the firmament? [01:39:15] I said the Bible reveals the firmament [01:39:17] is a solid crystalline structure, the terrible crystal. [01:39:20] Ezekiel says God's sapphire throne is above the firmament. [01:39:24] Isaiah 40.22 makes it clear that God sits [01:39:26] upon that strong structure looking down at us. [01:39:29] When Moses and the elders of Israel [01:39:31] saw the God of Israel, they saw that [01:39:32] there was under his feet as it were [01:39:34] paved work of sapphire, blue stone [01:39:38] and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness. [01:39:40] Now when a piece of this blue sky stone [01:39:42] was heated to 3,000 degrees Celsius, [01:39:44] which is 5,432 degrees Fahrenheit, [01:39:47] its composition did not change. [01:39:51] Now that's some kind of freaky substance right there. [01:39:55] Scientists could not figure out why the stone is blue [01:39:58] and when a small piece was crushed [01:39:59] and put under a microscope, the pieces had no color. [01:40:02] The stone is created so that light can pass through it [01:40:05] and they say that it's not earthly. [01:40:08] Interestingly, the word terrible written [01:40:09] by the prophet Ezekiel in the original Hebrew is Yahreh, [01:40:12] which it means to fear or to inspire, [01:40:15] to create reverence, godly fear at all. [01:40:19] I believe the blue sky stone is indeed [01:40:21] a piece of the firmament. [01:40:22] It might describe the terrible or awe-inspiring. [01:40:26] Of course, the Russians talked about studying [01:40:28] the brightness of the firmament back in the 1940s. [01:40:33] Actually, this is 1957. [01:40:37] Moses says they're doing a study [01:40:39] on the brightness of the firmament [01:40:42] with an electric halo photometer [01:40:44] for determining the brightness from the near sun. [01:40:49] And then it says on the surface [01:40:50] perpendicular to these rays, [01:40:52] taking into consideration only the brightness [01:40:54] of the first order derived from the assumption [01:40:56] of a flat earth and giving some conclusions. [01:41:00] And he talks about that five or six points [01:41:03] on the firmament are located at various distances. [01:41:06] How do you locate points on a firmament in distances? [01:41:11] It's not something solid that exists in that stationery. [01:41:16] We could spend a lot of time on this. [01:41:17] I'm gonna address some of this when we get into it. [01:41:20] Anyway, I was gonna put it a little clip, [01:41:22] I guess I forgot to put it in there [01:41:24] or it didn't save or something. [01:41:25] But anyway, in the latest Chicken Little cartoon, [01:41:30] the, you know, of course, it's a famous story for him saying, [01:41:32] this guy is falling, this guy is falling, right? [01:41:36] And what's interesting is two different times [01:41:40] a piece of the sky falls and one of them falls [01:41:44] and it hits him and he, when he wakes up, [01:41:48] he looks down and he goes, a blue piece of the sky [01:41:51] in the shape of a stop sign again. [01:41:55] So in the movie, they're shown where like pieces [01:41:58] of the blue sky have what fallen to earth [01:42:02] because these Hollywood occultists have to what [01:42:04] disclose truth in plain sight, which is what they do. [01:42:09] Now, let me close with this and I know this has been long, [01:42:12] but I wanna close with this. [01:42:13] If you guys can, since we're at the end of the slide, [01:42:16] go to first 17 and this is for my Christian brothers [01:42:21] and sisters out there, all right? [01:42:25] First of all, it's time to stop being chicken [01:42:31] because this story came to my mind before service [01:42:34] this morning as we were in praise of worship [01:42:36] and I was just thinking about, but this is David and Goliath. [01:42:40] So go to first Samuel 17.1 and we're gonna close with this [01:42:50] just so you get it. [01:42:51] Now, everybody knows the story of David and Goliath, [01:42:53] but they don't pay attention. [01:42:54] There's one little thing I think most people miss here, [01:42:58] but notice we're gonna read it. [01:43:00] Now, the Philistines gathered together, [01:43:02] their armies to battle and we're gathered together [01:43:05] at Shoko, which belonged with unto Judah [01:43:09] and pitched in Shoko and Ezekiel and Ephesdimim [01:43:13] and Saul and the men of Israel were gathered together [01:43:16] and pitched by the Valley of Elah [01:43:17] and set the battle in array against the Philistines. [01:43:20] So they were fighting. [01:43:23] The armies of Israel with Saul [01:43:25] were fighting with the Philistines [01:43:27] and the Philistines stood on a mountain on one side [01:43:30] and Israel stood on a mountain on the other side [01:43:32] and there was a valley between them [01:43:34] and there went out a champion out of the camp [01:43:37] of the Philistines named Goliath of Gath [01:43:39] whose height was six cubits in a span. [01:43:42] So somewhere between nine and a half, 11 feet tall, [01:43:45] he had a helmet of brass upon his head [01:43:46] and he was armed with a coat of mail. [01:43:48] Weight of the coat was 5,000 shekels of brass, [01:43:51] blah, blah, blah. [01:43:52] Let's go on down. [01:43:54] And I don't care about reading all his weaponry. [01:43:56] Verse eight, and he stood and cried [01:43:58] unto the armies of Israel and said unto them, [01:44:01] why do you come out to set your battle in array? [01:44:03] Am I not a Philistine and ye servants to Saul? [01:44:06] Choose you a man for you. [01:44:08] Let him come down to me. [01:44:10] And if he be able to fight with me and kill me, [01:44:14] then will we be your servants? [01:44:15] But if I prevail against him and kill him, [01:44:18] then shall you be our servants and serve us. [01:44:22] And the Philistines said, [01:44:23] I defy the armies of Israel this day, [01:44:25] give me a man that we may fight together. [01:44:28] And when Saul and all Israel heard those words [01:44:30] of the Philistines, they were dismayed [01:44:33] or discouraged, terrified, greatly afraid. [01:44:36] David was the son of the Ephrathite [01:44:38] and the Bethlehem Judah, whose name was Jesse. [01:44:41] And he had eight sons. [01:44:43] And so, of course, David runs to the battle. [01:44:45] His father sends him there to take food [01:44:47] and supplies to his brothers. [01:44:50] And he gets there, and I wanted to go to verse 19. [01:44:55] Says, now Saul and they and all the men of Israel [01:44:58] were in the Valley of Eloth, [01:44:59] fighting with the Philistines. [01:45:01] So let me just break it down. [01:45:02] Here's how it went. [01:45:04] For 40 days, morning and evening, Goliath would come out. [01:45:11] And when Goliath would come out and make his threat [01:45:14] and his challenge, Israel would flee in terror and fear. [01:45:21] But the moment he went back in, [01:45:22] nobody accepted his challenge. [01:45:23] The armies went back to fight each other. [01:45:26] This is puzzling to me, right? [01:45:29] It's almost like they just ignore him, [01:45:32] we'll fight it out the same way. [01:45:34] Just, we don't wanna deal with that, right? [01:45:38] That was the attitude of the armies of Israel and Saul. [01:45:42] We don't wanna deal with that, okay? [01:45:46] But here comes little David, and David's there, [01:45:48] and he hears one of these challenges when Goliath comes out. [01:45:52] He goes, whoa, whoa, whoa. [01:45:54] Who does this uncircumcised Philistine think he is? [01:45:57] Doesn't he know? [01:45:59] He's the armies of the living God. [01:46:01] Well, the moment David says, [01:46:03] hey, I'll go fight this guy. [01:46:05] His brothers go, oh, you're in pride, [01:46:07] you snotty little punk. [01:46:09] You're just in pride. [01:46:11] You just came here to see the battle. [01:46:15] And David goes, what have I done? [01:46:18] Isn't there a cause? [01:46:19] You know why they were upset? [01:46:20] It's because they wouldn't confront the giant. [01:46:23] They were scared, David wasn't scared. [01:46:27] This is really what it comes down to for all Christians [01:46:28] about any truth that's in the Bible. [01:46:31] Scared, say scared. [01:46:33] Don't holler pride at people who ain't scared. [01:46:37] You hear me? [01:46:39] It's not about pride. [01:46:41] It's about right and wrong, it's about truth. [01:46:43] It's about deception, error, and the truth. [01:46:47] And see, let me just go on and tell you right now. [01:46:49] I know a bunch of you Christians out there say, [01:46:51] oh, this doesn't matter. [01:46:53] The truth of creation versus science. [01:46:57] We can make it all work together. [01:46:58] We can all live together. [01:46:59] No, you can't. [01:47:00] The giant that's in the room that you wanna ignore [01:47:05] is Neil deGrasse Tyson and Krauss [01:47:09] and all these guys who wanna get up and say, [01:47:12] your Bible is wrong. [01:47:15] We got it right, because we saw a star twinkle [01:47:18] and we figured it out. [01:47:20] Even though that star twinkling, [01:47:22] we only figured out 4% of it, so we're 96% stupid. [01:47:26] We're still smarter than your Bible, [01:47:29] because we know it's a ball. [01:47:31] Your earth is a ball and there's outer space [01:47:34] and we got galaxies, gazillions of light years away, [01:47:38] and they don't know squat. [01:47:41] I can prove they don't know squat about it. [01:47:43] They can't measure these distances. [01:47:49] And Christians, the moment this stuff comes up, [01:47:52] like those pastors, those sniveling little weasels, [01:47:58] well, the writers of the Bible, they were incorrect, [01:48:03] but that doesn't mean that other things [01:48:06] aren't true in the Bible. [01:48:10] What a sniveling little weasel you are. [01:48:16] Now, I understand if you've been ignorant of this [01:48:18] and blinded this, I was too at one point. [01:48:21] Though I was never really confronted with [01:48:24] or presented with the truth [01:48:26] of what the firmament meant or anything, [01:48:28] I never heard anybody teach on it. [01:48:29] I'd never heard anything about it. [01:48:33] And I remember reading passages like Joshua [01:48:35] about the sun standing still on the moon, [01:48:38] and I was like, I would say, [01:48:41] God, I know your word is true. [01:48:42] I can't understand how this works. [01:48:46] I would say that to him. [01:48:49] So you know what I would do? [01:48:51] Avoid it. [01:48:54] Now, if somebody asked me, do you believe [01:48:55] that Joshua made the sun and the moon stand still? [01:48:58] That God did that for him, that mirror? [01:48:59] Yeah, I'd say, yeah, absolutely. [01:49:03] Do I understand it at that time back then [01:49:05] when I was in my 20s and 30s? [01:49:07] I was like, no, I didn't understand it. [01:49:10] Why? [01:49:10] The only reason I didn't understand it [01:49:12] and just accept it as it was written [01:49:14] was because I had been brainwashed from a child [01:49:17] to believe in outer space and gazillions of light years [01:49:22] and galaxies far, far away [01:49:24] and that we were a spinning sticky water ball [01:49:27] and that we float, we fly 66,000 miles an hour [01:49:31] around the sun and all this stuff we're told [01:49:36] that we can now prove is not true. [01:49:41] And we can prove now it's not true [01:49:47] with real scientific experiments. [01:49:51] I'm gonna talk about the real experiments [01:49:53] then done to prove the earth does not move. [01:49:57] Earth doesn't move. [01:49:59] Oh, what about the Coriolis effect? [01:50:02] Let me tell you something. [01:50:03] There's no such thing. [01:50:05] The Coriolis effect because if it was so, [01:50:07] a bullet's traveling fast. [01:50:09] Oh, snipers have to calculate [01:50:10] for the curvature of the earth. [01:50:12] No, they don't. [01:50:13] Let me tell you what they're calculating. [01:50:14] Every rifle is rifled. [01:50:18] You know what that means? [01:50:20] Is a cut through that rifle barrel [01:50:25] that makes the bullets spin, all right? [01:50:31] To actually help make it more accurate. [01:50:32] But anything, any projectile, [01:50:35] I know this from playing golf and shooting guns [01:50:39] and playing baseball, any projectile I used to pitch, [01:50:43] any projectile that you make spin is going to curve. [01:50:50] If you hit a golf ball and you don't hit it flush straight [01:50:53] and make it spin perfectly backwards, [01:50:56] so it will go up and straight. [01:51:00] If you hit it with any side spin whatsoever, [01:51:03] it's going to curve this way or that way. [01:51:07] Bullets come out of barrels with a spin on them [01:51:11] and you have to calculate for that movement. [01:51:14] You have to calculate for drop [01:51:16] as it begins to lose power through the medium of the air, [01:51:22] if the air's blowing a certain direction. [01:51:25] So windage, spin, not of the earth, spin of the bullet. [01:51:33] But think about it, a bullet is flying, [01:51:35] I think some of my rifles, what is it, three? [01:51:40] 3,000 feet per second or something like that. [01:51:44] Different velocities on different rounds. [01:51:46] But they're still flying fast, faster than aircraft. [01:51:52] And if the Coriolis effect had to be accounted for [01:51:55] with a bullet, it would have to be accounted for [01:51:59] with an airplane, especially in the airplane [01:52:01] landing on a north-south runway. [01:52:04] Because if the earth's moving by the timeline, [01:52:07] bullet gets a mile away, how far is a runway going to move [01:52:12] by the time a plane is trying to land over a few minutes? [01:52:16] Flying much, much slower, it's just ridiculous. [01:52:19] There's so many ridiculous things. [01:52:23] But the issue is, see, let me tell you [01:52:26] why there's a revival, why there's an awakening, [01:52:28] why atheists are getting saved [01:52:31] in agnostics like nobody's business. [01:52:33] Because there's some of us Christians [01:52:36] and some people out here that said [01:52:39] the heck with, you know, Mr. Goliath, [01:52:45] I will boldly say that we've been lied to. [01:52:50] We've been, isn't it something, [01:52:52] why do people, Christians, have problems saying [01:52:55] that the governments of the world might have lied to you? [01:53:01] They lied to you, the Gulf of Tonka, [01:53:03] they lied about the incident that led us into Vietnam. [01:53:09] They lied to you about 9-11. [01:53:13] They lied to you about the Federal Reserve, [01:53:16] it's not federal, Epstein didn't hang himself. [01:53:25] They lie about everything, and yet for some reason, [01:53:28] we think they're gonna tell us the truth [01:53:32] about where we live, and they don't. [01:53:36] That's why last week I played the clip [01:53:38] of them faking the shot in the Apollo 11. [01:53:39] They're so busted, they're so busted. [01:53:43] Listen, it's over, it's over. [01:53:46] The smoking guns of NASA deception, [01:53:52] they're everywhere, they're lying around everywhere. [01:53:55] It's obvious, let me just say this, [01:53:58] I didn't even go through all the verses [01:54:00] about the firmament, about the glass, [01:54:03] I mean, Revelation 15, I mean, we could've went there. [01:54:06] There's so many about God stretching the heavens. [01:54:09] Actually, it means he bending them down, [01:54:10] bowing them down like bending them to the ground. [01:54:16] But if you're gonna believe God created [01:54:18] the heavens and the earth, the dry land, [01:54:21] the trees, the grass, and you gotta believe [01:54:25] he made the firmament, and you gotta believe what it is. [01:54:30] And you know, we think about the Tower of Babel, [01:54:31] they were trying to make what? [01:54:34] They were trying to make them a building [01:54:38] that would reach the heavens. [01:54:39] They wanted to overthrow God, [01:54:41] and they actually believed they could get there. [01:54:42] And what did God say in Genesis? [01:54:45] God said that if I leave them alone, [01:54:47] that they will succeed in reaching the heaven. [01:54:55] Now think about that for a minute. [01:54:58] So God stopped them, divided their language. [01:55:02] It all came crashing down upon them, right? [01:55:05] Yet, God's gonna let man escape the firmament [01:55:16] and travel to the moon and to Mars and to the stars. [01:55:24] No, do you know what, and I can't remember the verse now, [01:55:26] but it says, the heaven for height [01:55:30] and the earth for depth is unsearchable, [01:55:34] meaning God will never let you reach the top, [01:55:38] and he's never gonna let you reach the bottom. [01:55:42] Not going to happen. [01:55:44] The deepest hole ever dug by the Russians, eight miles. [01:55:49] Proverbs 25, three. [01:55:52] The height, heaven, and the earth for depth, unsearchable. [01:56:00] So do you really think God has allowed them [01:56:05] to send a voyager with their little message to the aliens [01:56:12] out beyond the Milky Way and galaxy? [01:56:14] No, there it is. [01:56:18] The heaven for height and the earth for depth [01:56:21] and the heart of kings is unsearchable. [01:56:23] Now let me say that we're gonna get into this [01:56:27] in the days ahead. [01:56:29] Do they send up rockets? [01:56:30] Yes. [01:56:31] Do they send up satellites? [01:56:33] Yes. [01:56:34] The question is where, where do they go? [01:56:36] How high do they go? [01:56:38] What holds them in their place [01:56:41] where they go over the flat earth? [01:56:44] Like I said, their own documents declassified now, [01:56:47] make all that clear. [01:56:48] So anyway, love y'all. [01:56:52] See you next week.
