[00:07:35] our Thanksgiving fellowship afterwards, so I will take as long as possible. Keep
[00:07:44] you just dreaming about that food down there. Um, I hope you have your Bibles
[00:07:49] with you this morning. Let's turn to Matthew 23 this morning. Uh, this is
[00:07:56] almost a continuation, I think of last week. Um, I was sent something this
[00:08:02] morning that just confirmed to me what I need to talk about today. But if
[00:08:09] you remember where I started out last week talking about the Pharisees and
[00:08:13] what they represent to us. And remember, in Matthew 23, Jesus said that the
[00:08:18] Pharisees sit in Moses seat, therefore observe and do what they say. And I
[00:08:22] explained to you that the old covenant was still intact. It wasn't old at that
[00:08:26] point. It was still the covenant in which they were walking under. And Jesus
[00:08:30] was saying to the people, he was saying, Yeah, they sit in the place of
[00:08:34] authority. They are the teachers of the law. And if they teach you what
[00:08:39] Moses said, then you observe that you do that, he said. But they say and do
[00:08:44] not, right? And he started exposing them for what they were. Now he said part
[00:08:51] of it, he said, they their works they do to be seen of men, all their works
[00:08:54] they do to be seen event, right? They pray in the marketplaces. They they
[00:08:59] just wanted to be seen. So they were about really, they got into religious
[00:09:04] pride thinking they were better than other people. Um, it's just sad. They
[00:09:10] thought that nobody could know the scriptures like them. They were marveled
[00:09:14] at Jesus and the apostles because they knew the word, but they hadn't been to
[00:09:18] their schools. Um, everything we see in the scriptures about the Pharisees and
[00:09:24] the Sadducees. Now, what's interesting, the difference between those two
[00:09:27] groups is that the Pharisees actually believed in the supernatural. They
[00:09:31] believed in angels and demons. They believed in miracles. They believed in
[00:09:35] the resurrection of the dead. They believed that it says the Sadducees
[00:09:39] did not believe in the supernatural. Isn't it interesting that we have
[00:09:43] Christianity? We have segments of Christianity that are the same way. We
[00:09:48] have parts that believe in the supernatural and parts that don't. They
[00:09:52] think God quit doing those things, right? Cessation ism. Uh, that's one
[00:09:57] of the biggest errors that there is. God has not changed. The power of God
[00:10:00] is still for us today. Um, but even though Jesus looked at the Pharisees
[00:10:06] and he said they sit in Moses seat, he said, observe what they teach you
[00:10:10] from the scriptures, but don't do like they do. Now I want to get to this
[00:10:16] scripture where you could like I said last week, I could preach this
[00:10:20] whole thing and take. I could do a series of about, you know, eight weeks
[00:10:24] through this. Just this one chapter. But I want you to go down with me and
[00:10:29] let's put up verse 27 and we're going to read a little bit there through
[00:10:35] there. Actually, we're going to read through verse 36. Okay, gonna read a
[00:10:41] little bit. All right. He says in verse 27. He says, Woe unto you,
[00:10:45] scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, for you are like unto whited
[00:10:49] sepulchers, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within
[00:10:55] full of dead men's bones and of all uncleanness. Somebody say all
[00:10:59] uncleanness. Mm hmm. Even so, you also appear or outward. You also
[00:11:05] outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within you are full of hypocrisy
[00:11:10] and iniquity. He says, Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites,
[00:11:15] because you build the tombs of the prophets and garnish the
[00:11:17] sepulchers of the righteous and say, if we had been the days of
[00:11:22] our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the
[00:11:25] blood of the prophets. He says, Wherefore ye be witnesses unto
[00:11:30] yourselves that ye are children of them which killed the
[00:11:33] prophets. Fill you up then the measure of your fathers, you
[00:11:37] serpents, you generation of vipers. How can you escape the
[00:11:41] damnation of hell? See, these are people who were convinced they
[00:11:45] were right with God, but they were not convinced. I mean,
[00:11:48] absolutely, positively convinced that they were on their way to
[00:11:52] heaven. And Jesus said, How do you think you're gonna escape
[00:11:57] the damnation of hell? He says, Wherefore, behold, I send unto
[00:12:01] you prophets and wise men and scribes and some of them you
[00:12:04] shall kill and crucify and some of them shall you scourge in
[00:12:09] your synagogues and persecute them from city to city that
[00:12:12] upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the
[00:12:17] earth from the blood of righteous able unto the blood
[00:12:20] of Zachariah, the son of Barakiah, whom you slew between
[00:12:25] the temple and the altar. Verily I say unto you, all these
[00:12:27] things shall come upon this generation. So the judgment of
[00:12:31] God, he says, gonna come upon you. Now think about what he's
[00:12:34] saying to these men who absolutely thought that they were
[00:12:40] righteous, that they were right with God, that they were on
[00:12:43] their way to heaven. And he tells them, No, you say you
[00:12:47] wouldn't even partake of what our fathers did to the
[00:12:49] prophets. We're, we're better than our fathers. And he goes,
[00:12:52] No, you're not. Because I'm going to send you prophets, and
[00:12:56] wise men, and scribes, and you're going to crucify them,
[00:12:59] kill them and persecute them from city to city. And you're
[00:13:02] going to prove who you are. Now, what blew me away this
[00:13:07] morning, I want to back up to the scripture here where he
[00:13:10] says, woe unto you scribes, verse 27. One to you scribes
[00:13:14] and Pharisees, hypocrites, pretenders, actors, for you
[00:13:17] alike unto whited sepulchres, tombs, graves, which indeed
[00:13:22] appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's
[00:13:26] bones and of all and cleanness. You appear beautiful
[00:13:31] outward. Oh, Lord. You know, Matthew seven, in fact, let's
[00:13:38] just hold your place here in Matthew 23. Let's leave Matthew
[00:13:42] seven real quick. I got a video clip for y'all this
[00:13:48] morning. Y'all ain't gonna believe Matthew seven, and go
[00:13:58] down to verse 15. Now, this is Jesus again, we're still in
[00:14:04] my Bible, it's in the red. So right, we're reading the red
[00:14:07] and praying for the power. That's what one of my pastor
[00:14:09] you say read the red and pray for the power. Jesus said
[00:14:14] here, beware of false prophets, which come to you in
[00:14:17] sheep's clothing, but inwardly, they are raven wolves.
[00:14:22] Now again, what's he trying to tell us? There are
[00:14:25] going to be people who come to us who appear on the
[00:14:28] outside to be righteous. They appear on the outside to
[00:14:33] be sheep, part of the body of Christ. He's not saying
[00:14:37] the wicked world. He's not talking about that wicked
[00:14:39] world out there. He's talking about the church
[00:14:42] world. And he says, beware of this. That means pay
[00:14:48] attention. Have some discernment. Look beyond what's
[00:14:53] on the outside. What's really at the root? What is
[00:14:57] inside? What is be what is hidden in there? And
[00:15:01] here's how you know what is hidden in some of
[00:15:03] these fake whitewashed tombs that they call
[00:15:08] churches and pastors out here today. Here's what
[00:15:13] they they this is what Jesus said. He said out
[00:15:19] the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks,
[00:15:21] right? So eventually, and I say this all the time,
[00:15:25] eventually a wolf who's dressed up like a sheep
[00:15:29] will have to start doing wolf stuff. They have to.
[00:15:34] It is their nature. So it has to leak out every
[00:15:38] now and then. And that's why he said we have to
[00:15:41] pay attention. And I'm going to show you something
[00:15:44] today because I don't I don't even know what to
[00:15:47] call this today. Whitewashed tombs, mega death,

[00:16:16] about the judgment will begin at the house of
[00:16:19] God. And you know, with this church and we
[00:16:22] believe that we're getting very close to the
[00:16:24] second coming of Jesus. And so judgments are
[00:16:27] beginning to fall. And if you said judgment
[00:16:29] must come first to the house of God, what
[00:16:32] will the end be of those who do not obey the
[00:16:34] gospel? Right. Well, how many of you heard of
[00:16:38] this rash of these big time ministers falling,
[00:16:43] getting busted? Well, I tell you what, let's
[00:16:46] just put up the picture. We'll start with
[00:16:48] the Robert Morris Gateway Church, one of the
[00:16:51] largest churches in America. I got two pictures
[00:16:55] of him here, but he molested a 12 year old
[00:16:59] girl, tried to cover it up for years, lied
[00:17:04] about it. When the girl finally grew up, became
[00:17:09] a woman and was dealing with all that pain
[00:17:11] and demonic stuff that he did to her, that
[00:17:16] went on for some time, actually, but between
[00:17:18] the time she was, I think 12 and 16, he
[00:17:22] manipulated her. This was a friend's family.
[00:17:27] That's not him. Robert Morris, the white. Oh,
[00:17:33] this guy right here. We'll deal with him in a
[00:17:36] minute. Let's go in the order. They'll get
[00:17:42] it in a second. It's a picture of a man and a
[00:17:44] woman there. So there's the situation. Of
[00:18:01] course, he had to step down. You can put up
[00:18:03] the news clip from, I think it's NBC News.
[00:18:15] Lawyer for mega church pastor, blame 12
[00:18:17] year old girl for initiating inappropriate
[00:18:20] sexual conduct. Now, if you did something
[00:18:26] like that to a 12 year old girl, and then
[00:18:30] for years you're going to send lawyers to
[00:18:33] fight her saying, Oh, the 12 year old girl
[00:18:36] seduced me. You are a sick, twisted, evil
[00:18:43] piece of crap. Yet for years he appeared
[00:18:51] beautiful outwardly. Gateway Church, one of
[00:18:55] the biggest churches in America. Good
[00:18:59] buddies with the mega church pastor here
[00:19:03] in Alabama that I'm gonna deal with. It's
[00:19:06] a club, and this club you don't want to
[00:19:09] be in, but whitewashed tombs full of
[00:19:14] dead men's bones. They appear outwardly
[00:19:18] righteous and beautiful, but finally what
[00:19:23] the Lord is doing now, he's ripping back
[00:19:26] the veil, the curtain. Many more are going
[00:19:29] to be exposed and fall. Tony Evans, one
[00:19:33] of the biggest pastors for years out in
[00:19:37] Texas, I think it's Dallas, Texas, Oak
[00:19:40] Cliff. He got busted for sexual sin
[00:19:44] misconduct. He's the black gentleman. Boy,
[00:19:52] I remember listening to him for years. I'm
[00:19:53] gonna tell you what they have in common
[00:19:54] in a second, but you have him. He has to
[00:19:58] step down. I love how they don't want to
[00:20:02] tell you what they did. It's just we had
[00:20:04] an inappropriate relationship. Let's just
[00:20:09] try to, you know, it's funny how the
[00:20:12] church world does the same thing that
[00:20:13] the liberals do. They try to water down
[00:20:15] the language a little bit, you know, turn
[00:20:20] homosexuality and being gay. No, it's
[00:20:24] filthy. It's an abomination, but of
[00:20:28] course, you know, then we have Mr. Andy
[00:20:31] Stanley. This guy, no, that's Mike Bickel.
[00:20:39] Well, we'll just go with Mike Bickel.
[00:20:40] Now, this guy here ran the biggest, one
[00:20:47] of the biggest ministries in the world.
[00:20:49] IHOP, Kansas City, International House of
[00:20:53] Prayer. I warned about him in my book in
[00:20:57] 2012, and of course he was seducing young
[00:21:04] girls, prophesying over the telling them
[00:21:07] that they were going to be his wife and
[00:21:09] his wife was going to die, and he has
[00:21:13] the nerve to get up there and preach
[00:21:15] the gospel. Has the nerve to get up
[00:21:18] and teach the Word while he's buying
[00:21:21] apartments for young girls so he can go
[00:21:24] visit them while he has locks on his
[00:21:27] office doors so he can bring women into
[00:21:30] his office. It's sick, and it went on for
[00:21:32] decades. Sick. Then, of course, there's
[00:21:37] Andy Stanley. Now, I'm going to tell you
[00:21:39] what I believe about Andy. I think
[00:21:40] Andy's gay as the day is long. He
[00:21:45] certainly has the most gay, effeminate
[00:21:48] mannerisms. Ain't nothing about him that
[00:21:50] says man on it, and I'm sorry. I'm just
[00:21:53] being honest, but this guy right here, the
[00:21:59] Bible says that the Bible says it's not
[00:22:02] an adequate starting or returning point
[00:22:04] for many adults. This guy, his error has
[00:22:10] already come out to everybody. I mean he
[00:22:14] says we don't need the Bible. Let's put
[00:22:16] his quote up there. Let's just go to
[00:22:19] this quote. Now, this guy has 40,000. I
[00:22:23] think the other church has about, the
[00:22:25] Gateway was about 40 or 50,000. The
[00:22:31] truth is Christians are not expected to
[00:22:32] believe what we believe based on a
[00:22:36] collection of ancient manuscripts written
[00:22:38] by men who never met each other over the
[00:22:40] course of hundreds of years in a time
[00:22:42] when everybody was superstitious and
[00:22:44] everybody believed in the gods, and there
[00:22:46] was no modern science. The foundation of
[00:22:48] our faith is far more substantial than
[00:22:50] that. It is far more substantial than
[00:22:53] that. So we don't have to believe the
[00:22:55] Bible. I know, look, here's the
[00:23:00] underlying thing before I get
[00:23:01] into this, before I show you the clip.
[00:23:04] The underlying issue of all this is that
[00:23:10] these guys are in sin, and they love
[00:23:14] their sin, and they have created
[00:23:17] doctrines, false doctrines, theology, and
[00:23:21] a whole method of ministry called
[00:23:25] seeker-sensitive to create church
[00:23:29] growth, but no real change. And I can
[00:23:35] tell you this, with mankind it
[00:23:37] always comes down to either coming clean
[00:23:41] with God or grabbing the fig leaf to
[00:23:45] cover and hide, and that's what they do.
[00:23:50] Now, let's get the clip ready here.

[00:23:59] up the info about this. This is the
[00:24:04] largest megachurch, one of the largest in
[00:24:06] the country, and the largest in Alabama.
[00:24:10] Campuses everywhere. Chris Hodges, Church
[00:24:16] of the Highlands, it should be called
[00:24:18] Church of the Lowlands. Church of the
[00:24:23] Highlands is a non-denominational,
[00:24:24] evangelical, Christian, multi-site
[00:24:26] megachurch based in Birmingham, Alabama.
[00:24:28] It is the largest congregation in
[00:24:30] Alabama with an average of 60,000
[00:24:32] attendees every week. As of 2023, the
[00:24:35] senior pastor is Chris Hodges, another
[00:24:39] effeminate acting man. Let's play the
[00:24:47] clip though. I want you all to hear it. 17

[00:24:52] How do I get right with God? If we confess
[00:24:54] our sins. You don't have to get, you
[00:24:57] don't have to stop sinning. He wants you
[00:25:00] to. I believe that's his goal, but didn't
[00:25:02] say, if you, if you confess your sins
[00:25:04] and never do it again, there's not a
[00:25:06] place in the scripture that says that.

[00:25:14] with God? If we confess our sins. You
[00:25:18] don't have to get, you don't have to
[00:25:19] stop sinning. He wants you to. I believe
[00:25:22] that's his goal, but didn't say, if
[00:25:24] you, if you confess your sins and never
[00:25:26] do it again, there's not a place in
[00:25:28] the scripture that says that. You get
[00:25:29] right with God. You don't have to
[00:25:34] stop sinning. Now that, now God wants
[00:25:36] you to get a little effeminate as, as
[00:25:43] Arnold would say, girl, eight men, they
[00:25:47] got a girly, weak, effeminate. They love
[00:25:53] to dress up their little tunes. But let
[00:25:57] me tell you right now, I have known for
[00:25:59] years that this is the actual
[00:26:02] foundation and core of what Church of
[00:26:07] the Highlands believes. I've known it.
[00:26:10] One of my former elders that used to
[00:26:13] be here, that moved away, Kevin
[00:26:14] Wilkinson. I remember when I think they
[00:26:17] first came, started coming to Opelika
[00:26:20] and Auburn area. He actually called the
[00:26:23] church multiple times asking them, do
[00:26:26] you guys believe once you're saved,
[00:26:29] you're always saved, no matter how you
[00:26:31] live. And he could not get a straight
[00:26:34] answer out of any of them. It's simple.
[00:26:36] Yes or no, right? He would, they even
[00:26:39] got some of their staff, pastors on
[00:26:42] the line, and they would never answer
[00:26:43] the question. But I knew it. Because let
[00:26:49] me just go on and tell you right now, you
[00:26:51] do not, for the most part, 99 times out
[00:26:54] of 100, you're not going to build a
[00:26:59] megachurch if you tell people they have
[00:27:01] to repent and stop the sinning. See
[00:27:06] what he did right there. Think about
[00:27:08] the people in this church that have a
[00:27:11] problem with alcohol, and they're
[00:27:13] getting drunk on a regular basis. What
[00:27:16] did he just tell them? God, you don't
[00:27:22] have to stop sinning. Just confess it.
[00:27:26] Let me tell you what that is. If you
[00:27:28] want to know what that is, where that
[00:27:29] false doctrine comes from, it's Roman
[00:27:32] Catholicism. You don't have to repent or
[00:27:36] change anything. Just make sure you go
[00:27:39] to the priest and go to confession and
[00:27:41] you and the priest will absolve you
[00:27:43] whether you quit doing it or not. See
[00:27:46] what somebody said the other day, and
[00:27:49] it's the truth. A lot of these people out
[00:27:52] here in this church world are Roman
[00:27:53] Catholic and they don't even know it.
[00:27:55] Rome has so infiltrated the Christian
[00:28:00] seminaries, they created their own Bible
[00:28:04] versions for all of the Protestant
[00:28:07] church world, and then you've got these
[00:28:10] guys, which some of these guys are just
[00:28:15] agents working for Satan and they know
[00:28:19] it. They might be Jesuits, they might be
[00:28:25] government agents, CIA, Mossad, Kabbalists,
[00:28:31] but they have infiltrated Christianity
[00:28:35] and they appear outwardly. Let me tell
[00:28:40] you, you start talking to somebody. We
[00:28:42] run into people all the time. Where do you go
[00:28:44] to church? Oh, I go to the Church of the
[00:28:45] Highlands. Oh, really? You're like, well,
[00:28:52] you have no discernment, right? Just
[00:28:54] first thing. One of the biggest debates
[00:28:59] that we had, one of the biggest situations
[00:29:02] we had in our church right after Skyfall
[00:29:04] 2019, a bunch of people left because I
[00:29:07] had a confrontation because of Jordan,
[00:29:09] at a football game with the Church of
[00:29:16] the Highlands, you know, person, because
[00:29:21] Jordan was passing out his biblical
[00:29:24] cosmology, flat earth tracks at the
[00:29:27] football game and he happened to hand one
[00:29:29] to this guy's daughter and he freaked out.
[00:29:31] I mean, this guy wanted to fight and I
[00:29:34] was about this close to give him a shot
[00:29:35] at the title, okay? This close. But the
[00:29:40] Lord helped me because I had to tell him,
[00:29:45] I said, you need to calm down, dude. You
[00:29:47] just need to calm down. And see, at the
[00:29:49] football stadium, everybody was down in
[00:29:52] the in the football stadium seats and
[00:29:54] all the kids were up top playing and
[00:29:56] running around and he said something
[00:29:58] about Jordan handing his daughter a
[00:30:00] track and I said, well, I better attract
[00:30:04] about flat earth than a pedophile
[00:30:06] snatcher because you're not watching
[00:30:08] her up there. He didn't like that too
[00:30:14] much. But when it came down to it, it
[00:30:18] really came down to the fact that he
[00:30:20] knew about our church. He was friends
[00:30:22] with one of the families in our church
[00:30:24] and he hated our church, basically,
[00:30:27] because he loves that, okay? And his
[00:30:34] hatred came out. I mean, this dude, I'm
[00:30:37] telling you, he wanted to fight. It was
[00:30:41] that bad. And I just finally told him, I
[00:30:45] said, I'll tell you what, buddy. I said,
[00:30:46] well, I finally told him, he said, you need
[00:30:47] deliverance, man. Really bad. And we
[00:30:52] started to walk off and I think his
[00:30:54] wife said something and then my wife
[00:30:56] goes, yeah, they're still talking. So I
[00:31:01] walked back over there and he started
[00:31:03] again and I just said, look, why don't
[00:31:04] you just do this? Why don't you go
[00:31:05] back to your mega church and learn
[00:31:07] nothing? Because I knew what it was
[00:31:12] about. And what is interesting is that
[00:31:16] because that family, they were friends
[00:31:18] with this guy, they had to make a
[00:31:20] decision. And see, they were trying to
[00:31:24] live in both worlds. They wanted their
[00:31:25] kids going to the youth group at the
[00:31:27] Highlands, which I don't understand. I
[00:31:31] wouldn't send my dog over there. And
[00:31:37] then they went to church here. And you
[00:31:38] know what happened is they were trying
[00:31:40] to live in two worlds. And finally,
[00:31:43] they collided. And you have to choose
[00:31:46] because let me just go and tell you,
[00:31:48] if you hadn't figured it out yet, we
[00:31:50] ain't that, that right there. And I've
[00:31:56] gone through some of his sermons. I've
[00:31:58] gone through a lot of them. I know
[00:31:59] what it is. But when somebody sent me
[00:32:02] this, they said, just listen to the
[00:32:04] first 15 seconds of this video. This
[00:32:06] morning, I'm sitting there trying to
[00:32:07] drink my first cup of coffee. And I
[00:32:10] went, oh, I said, but there it is.
[00:32:13] There's your smoking gun. But he
[00:32:16] said, let's play it one more time.

[00:32:22] fact, slow it down. Slow it down a
[00:32:25] little bit. Can we slow it down? Is

[00:32:35] people that need to wake up, come out
[00:32:40] of her, my people. They just the
[00:32:43] Vatican, the Vatican and the
[00:32:45] doctrines of Roman Catholicism
[00:32:47] have made their way into all these
[00:32:50] churches. Why do you think Jesus
[00:32:52] said, come out of her mystery
[00:32:54] Babylon is this, is this religion,
[00:32:58] this false Christianity that
[00:33:01] presents itself as outwardly
[00:33:03] righteous and beautiful, but
[00:33:04] inside it's full of dead men's
[00:33:07] bones. Why is it full of dead
[00:33:08] men's bones? Because the doctrine
[00:33:11] they preach will not lead you to
[00:33:13] eternal life. It's going to lead
[00:33:14] you to eternal damnation. It's
[00:33:18] going to lead you to eternal

[00:35:27] they had to go to their house
[00:35:28] a few times. And of course,

[00:35:32] they interrupted a nice party
[00:35:35] of turning back the alcohol.
[00:35:38] And this is a person high up
[00:35:39] in the Highlands. They've also
[00:35:41] covered up all kinds of
[00:35:43] sexual misconduct by different
[00:35:46] people. And I know things that
[00:35:49] go back all the way back to
[00:35:50] the 90s and stuff about Mr.
[00:35:52] Hodges that I won't get into.
[00:35:56] Because I'm sure they'll try
[00:35:57] to sue me. Right. But I can

[00:38:16] Greek verb, the word sin,
[00:38:17] the verb there, which means
[00:38:19] ongoing, continuous action
[00:38:21] taking place in the
[00:38:21] present. So Jesus was
[00:38:23] saying, you can't live in
[00:38:25] ongoing habitual practicing
[00:38:27] sin. Go and sin no more.
[00:38:30] He was telling her, in
[00:38:32] fact, when they it says
[00:38:33] that she was caught in the
[00:38:34] act of adultery, the
[00:38:35] actual word adultery there
[00:38:37] it's it puts out a present
[00:38:39] tense again, a verb that
[00:38:43] she was caught in doing
[00:38:44] this, meaning she was, they
[00:38:46] knew she was an adulteress.
[00:38:47] So they knew where to catch
[00:38:48] it. Right. So she was a
[00:38:52] habitual adulteress. And
[00:38:56] Jesus said to her, go and
[00:39:00] sin no more. I'm not going
[00:39:01] to condemn you, but go
[00:39:05] and sin no more. That means
[00:39:06] repent. That means turn
[00:39:08] away from your adultery.
[00:39:10] Don't be an adulteress
[00:39:11] anymore. Why is this hard
[00:39:16] for modern Christianity to
[00:39:17] understand? I don't get it.

[00:39:26] foundation of of our faith.

[00:44:55] his sin and forsakes it
[00:44:59] is the one who gets
[00:45:01] mercy, not just
[00:45:04] confess. We are not
[00:45:06] Roman Catholics running

[00:45:12] keep doing it. We are new

[00:52:33] head of the, what was it?
[00:52:35] The National Evangelical
[00:52:36] Association and he was a
[00:52:39] homosexual doing drugs.
[00:52:44] That was Chris Hodges
[00:52:45] pastor for years. That
[00:52:46] was his youth pastor
[00:52:47] when he was in Louisiana.
[00:52:51] But I know for a fact that
[00:52:52] they knew about a
[00:52:53] pedophile in that church
[00:52:57] and they let him, they
[00:52:59] covered for him and
[00:53:00] helped him escape
[00:53:02] prosecution. And this

[00:55:19] to stop sinning. So

[00:55:23] verse nine. He said, if
[00:55:24] we confess our sins, he
[00:55:27] is faithful and just to
[00:55:28] forgive us of our sins
[00:55:29] and to cleanse us from
[00:55:30] all in righteousness. If
[00:55:32] we say that we have not
[00:55:33] sinned, we make him a
[00:55:34] liar and his word is
[00:55:35] not in us. My little

[01:18:21] Oh, the Lord gave me a
[01:18:21] prophetic word about him
[01:18:23] that he was cheating on
[01:18:25] his wife.
[01:18:26] And the Lord gave me the

[01:18:31] sicked his deacons on
[01:18:33] me and they tried to

[01:18:49] It took about two years.
[01:18:53] And then he was arrested
[01:18:54] by the Opelika Police
[01:18:55] Department because he
[01:18:58] was arrested because he
[01:18:59] was doing obscene phone
[01:19:03] calls to women in the
[01:19:04] church.
[01:19:06] Then they found out that
[01:19:07] he was cheating on his
[01:19:09] wife with more than one.
[01:19:12] And it all came
[01:19:13] tumbling down.
[01:19:16] Now, of course, what
[01:19:17] they do, they didn't
[01:19:18] skip a beat.
[01:19:21] They brushed him on out
[01:19:22] the door and sent him to
[01:19:25] bad pastor rehab.
[01:19:30] And they brought in another
[01:19:31] one just like him.
[01:19:33] And another one that
[01:19:34] teaches the same lies
[01:19:38] that appear righteous
[01:19:39] outside.
[01:19:43] And that's why when I
[01:19:45] was 20, the Lord sent
[01:19:46] me back to that church,
[01:19:47] me and my brother, to
[01:19:50] give them a prophetic
[01:19:51] word on a Sunday night
[01:19:54] because they were on
[01:19:54] live TV on Sunday nights
[01:19:57] and Sunday morning.
[01:19:58] We didn't even think about
[01:19:59] that when we did it, but
[01:20:04] my brother went first.
[01:20:05] He walked up like when
[01:20:06] the service was ending,
[01:20:08] he walked up to the stage.
[01:20:11] And I don't know why that
[01:20:12] same pastor that I'm
[01:20:13] talking about that got
[01:20:14] called handed him the
[01:20:16] microphone.
[01:20:17] I was like, what the
[01:20:18] heck is going on?
[01:20:20] But we knew the Lord
[01:20:21] sent us.
[01:20:22] We even had a dream
[01:20:23] about it.
[01:20:23] And we knew the Lord
[01:20:24] sent us there.
[01:20:25] Handed my brother the
[01:20:26] microphone and my brother
[01:20:28] stands up and says, if
[01:20:29] you do not repent of
[01:20:31] your sin and stop it, your
[01:20:34] name is going to be blotted
[01:20:35] out of the Book of Life.
[01:20:36] Revelation two, the moment
[01:20:39] he finished, I stood up
[01:20:41] about midway toward the
[01:20:44] back on the ground floor.
[01:20:46] I was right past where
[01:20:48] the balcony was.
[01:20:49] So the balcony could hear
[01:20:50] me.
[01:20:51] There's about 2000
[01:20:52] people there and live
[01:20:54] television.
[01:20:56] And I said, the Bible
[01:20:58] says, if you're a
[01:20:59] lukewarm Christian, you
[01:21:02] were in the Lord's body
[01:21:03] and he's going to spit
[01:21:04] you out of his body.
[01:21:05] You are not once saved,
[01:21:06] always saved, no matter
[01:21:07] how you live.
[01:21:09] And we turned.
[01:21:11] Alan was on that aisle
[01:21:13] walking down.
[01:21:13] I was on there.
[01:21:14] We walked out the back
[01:21:15] doors.
[01:21:15] And let me tell you,
[01:21:16] you could have heard
[01:21:17] a pin drop in there.

[01:21:21] out the doors, you
[01:21:21] could hear it echoing.
[01:21:27] And people talked about
[01:21:28] that for years to come.

[01:26:08] my about 10 minute speech,
[01:26:10] maybe 15 minutes, I don't remember
[01:26:12] the whole place stood up
[01:26:15] and erupted in cheering and clapping.
[01:26:20] And the ladies told me
[01:26:21] what the president at the time
[01:26:23] of the club, they told me, they said,
[01:26:24] and we've been doing this club
[01:26:26] for like 10 years.
[01:26:27] We've never seen this happen
[01:26:28] for any politician.
[01:26:33] Oh, it made the other candidates angry
[01:26:35] like when we were in Birmingham
[01:26:37] doing the debate.
[01:26:38] And when I finished with my closing remarks,
[01:26:40] the crowd went crazy for me.
[01:26:44] And Lou Burdette was sitting next to me
[01:26:46] and he had to follow me.
[01:26:47] I had sorry for him.
[01:26:48] He looked like he's about to throw up.
[01:26:51] He's like, I can't top that.
[01:26:53] I can't deal with that.
[01:26:54] But it's the anointing
[01:26:55] of the Holy Spirit.
[01:26:58] It's the Lord giving you what to say.

[01:27:18] Michael Brown said that when they were
[01:27:20] at the Brownsville Revival
[01:27:21] and I was there many nights,

[01:27:24] They would be sitting on the platform
[01:27:25] and the evangelist Steve Hill
[01:27:27] that God was using for the revival
[01:27:29] would be preaching.
[01:27:30] And every night in some way
[01:27:31] he preached against sin.
[01:27:32] He preached repentance.
[01:27:34] It was strong repentance message
[01:27:36] right in that revival.
[01:27:37] And, you know, Pastor
[01:27:39] John was fully saved,
[01:27:40] living the holy life.
[01:27:42] Dr. Brown loved the Lord,
[01:27:43] living the holy life.
[01:27:45] They said when Steve would get to the end
[01:27:47] and he would start slamming
[01:27:49] sin real hard and calling
[01:27:50] for the people to repent
[01:27:51] and come to Jesus, they would say,
[01:27:53] we would feel so convicted
[01:27:55] we want to get up and go down
[01:27:56] and get saved when you remember.
[01:27:57] No, I'm already saved.
[01:28:01] But that that anointing,
[01:28:02] that pull on the hearts
[01:28:04] of people is so strong

[01:28:07] Christians were saying, oh, wow.
[01:28:10] I've seen I remember the Holy Spirit

[01:28:14] with the fear of the Lord
