[00:00:05] Okay, we want to welcome everyone tonight you're listening to prophecy quick [00:00:10] I'm your host pastor Dean Odo along with my co-host pastor Kevin Wilkinson [00:00:15] We've set things up a little differently tonight because we wanted to get a better view [00:00:20] and so the scriptures can be put up for Facebook live and also for [00:00:25] YouTube that we will be a YouTube video that we'll be putting up for this [00:00:29] But again, we welcome everyone tonight whether you're watching and listening on Facebook live [00:00:35] Or you're listening on blog talk radio or mix l r [00:00:39] Dot-com we welcome you [00:00:42] Tonight we're going to get into the subject. This is really kind of part two a few weeks back [00:00:46] We did a show called the he breaks roots cult [00:00:51] versus the blood of Jesus and [00:00:54] Really what we did in that show we talked about the extremes of the he breaks roots [00:01:01] Torah observant group, but we just went Scripture, you know [00:01:06] Verse by verse through the book of Galatians, which they I've come to discover that they hate with a holy passion almost [00:01:13] They wouldn't say that but they just despise the book of Galatians because of course it debunks their entire [00:01:20] belief system, but tonight it's kind of part two of that because I've been [00:01:25] Getting more and more questions and good questions and some people are very very [00:01:30] kind and very nice and very Christ like and the way they approach this and ask questions and [00:01:35] And get into it and others are very very rude and mean when it comes to this [00:01:41] He breaks roots movement and the Torah observant movement, whatever you want to call them [00:01:46] But anyway, I've called tonight the Ephraim awakening or apostasy [00:01:51] Torah observance [00:01:52] versus the law of Christ and we're going to find out the difference now the reason I've named it this is because [00:01:59] there are leaders within this group out there that are Torah observant and [00:02:04] Christians that are saying you basically have to go back and keep the law of Moses if you want to be really right with God [00:02:09] And not be lawless and be an antinom. We'll get into that in a minute [00:02:14] what that means, but [00:02:17] They claim that this is an awakening that this [00:02:21] Movement for people to go back and to keep the law of Moses to keep the Sabbath to keep the feast days to keep [00:02:26] The dietary laws to do their best as they say to keep as many of the six hundred and thirteen laws of the Old Covenant as they can [00:02:35] They [00:02:38] Anyway, they say that this is an awakening or a revival [00:02:41] But really I'm telling you according to scripture and we didn't cover this last time according to the book of Galatians [00:02:46] that this is [00:02:48] definitely a [00:02:50] Falling away from grace now. I want to make this very clear at the outset anybody who knows me [00:02:56] Knows that I am NOT part of the Joseph Prince [00:03:00] Baptist theology once saved always saved unconditional eternal security what many call [00:03:07] Think dr. Michael L. Brown calls the hyper grace movement [00:03:10] I don't believe that you can accept Jesus that you're eternally secure once you get saved you're eternally secure [00:03:18] No matter how you live your life [00:03:20] So I know I don't believe that so I'm not a total [00:03:23] You know licentious libertarian here, but I'm also [00:03:28] Not going to say that you have to keep the law of Moses to be really right with God [00:03:34] That's where we get into into danger. So [00:03:38] And really I'm discovering that this [00:03:41] Deception even though it may start out for many with good intentions. It is leading into [00:03:48] It's leading people according to scripture, of course back under the curse and [00:03:54] When you leave people back under the curse, then you open the door for all kinds of demonic activity and deception [00:04:01] And that's why I stated in the description of the show tonight [00:04:06] That I know that this movement of Torah observance Hebraic roots, whatever you want to call it. I know that it came out [00:04:13] of a legitimate [00:04:16] desire to better understand [00:04:18] Hebraic roots a Jewish [00:04:21] Culture, you know the roots of both the Old Testament the New Testament and and who wrote it the the Jewish [00:04:28] People who wrote it the Hebrews that wrote the Bible [00:04:31] That God used to write the scriptures and to understand their culture better understand where they're coming from and all of that is fine [00:04:38] But and of course i've shared with with others that i'm not new to this [00:04:43] I'm not outside of this back in the late [00:04:46] 1980s and the early 1990s I attended a messianic Jewish congregation in Birmingham, Alabama on a regular basis [00:04:54] Almost every Friday night. I went up to [00:04:58] participate in their [00:04:59] Shabbat service and enjoyed it immensely. We had great worship good teaching [00:05:07] I had a good friend of mine who was training and mentoring under people like Joseph good and [00:05:15] That's the other guy. Dr. Ben albert of chosen people ministries [00:05:19] And and of course my friend and I we we were around each other for for many years and [00:05:25] Had no problem with him [00:05:28] uh [00:05:29] Delving into and studying this and I studied it a lot with him [00:05:32] And back in those days and as I stated before back in those days [00:05:36] Many people were getting interested in in hebraic roots and understanding [00:05:41] More of the jewish history and culture and things of that nature [00:05:45] More to enhance their understanding of the bible to enhance their understanding of both the old covenant and the new covenant [00:05:52] And jesus and the apostles but what's happened now is [00:05:57] That there's been many who now have stepped further. They've stepped over the line [00:06:02] And now it is you have to do these things you have to be [00:06:07] torah observant [00:06:08] To be right with god to have righteousness and if you don't you don't really love god [00:06:13] You're lawless. You're an antinom. And and there are they are even saying that if you don't keep the law of moses [00:06:21] Uh, the sabbaths the feasts the dietary laws the things, you know [00:06:25] The things that they list if you don't keep these things then you may not make it to heaven [00:06:29] When you know and and i'm going to prove to you and some of you listening you may say well, um, you know [00:06:36] That's not i mean i'm into this he breaks roots and in torah observance, but that i'm not saying that well again [00:06:42] be [00:06:43] Clear about what i'm saying. I'm not saying that everybody has that's into this movement or into these practices [00:06:50] I'm not saying they've stepped over the line. I'm not saying you've gone too far [00:06:53] I'm not saying even that everyone is doing this is seeking their righteousness in keeping the law [00:07:00] But there are some some are and some are getting I and listen I have seen [00:07:05] This this is why i'm addressing this because I have seen [00:07:09] the extremes [00:07:11] Going mainstream. Let's just put it that way [00:07:14] Um, and sorry, we're having a little bit of sound problem. I probably should use the other mic, but uh [00:07:19] We'll try to keep using this one [00:07:21] Anyway, let's let's get into it tonight because um, i've got 14 pages of notes here [00:07:27] So we're going to try to cover it kevin's going to try to [00:07:30] Put as many of the scriptures up as we possibly can so those watching on facebook live and those who [00:07:35] Will be watching the video will be able to see [00:07:38] Um the scriptures and understand where we're coming from [00:07:41] Uh, but first and foremost, we got it [00:07:43] We got to answer the question here and we got to ask the question and then answer it rather is torah observance [00:07:50] Requirement for born again christians [00:07:52] Um now i'm going to back up here to second timothy, uh 215. Let's put that up, but second timothy 215 [00:08:01] This came to me as i've been looking at this again over the last several months [00:08:05] And let me just say this just didn't start with [00:08:08] A popular leader who's on facebook that I won't mention at this moment [00:08:12] But this started with a person that began to comment on my wife's [00:08:17] facebook page and begin to say some things that were very troubling [00:08:20] I mean this he breaks roots torah observant person told my wife that because she said jesus instead of yeshua [00:08:27] That she was worshiping a false god and that's what I began to say. Okay [00:08:32] Where is this kooky crazy stuff coming from? [00:08:36] um [00:08:37] And so then I began to dig into it more and I actually could not believe that it says [00:08:44] widespread [00:08:46] And and i'm talking about the extremes i'm talking about the stepping over the line like the kookyness the craziness [00:08:53] With this stuff. I couldn't believe that it's [00:08:56] How mainstream it's going of course they tout this as a move of god, but i'm telling you it's part of [00:09:04] The falling away. It's part of the great deception [00:09:06] Now the bible tells us this in second timothy [00:09:10] 215 [00:09:11] He says to the young pastor [00:09:14] study to show thyself approved unto god [00:09:17] A workman that needeth not to be ashamed [00:09:20] rightly dividing [00:09:22] The word of truth [00:09:24] I'm going to read that again study [00:09:26] To show thyself approved unto god a workman that needeth not to be ashamed [00:09:31] rightly dividing [00:09:32] The word of truth [00:09:34] And when I was looking at this the other day what just jumped out at me this this passage jumped out at me and the lord [00:09:40] Just really laid this on my heart and it's true is that one of the very first steps? [00:09:47] To rightly dividing the scriptures. We're talking about, you know, basic fundamental truth is [00:09:54] Understanding or dividing and making the difference between the old testament or the old covenant and the new covenant [00:10:00] I mean, this is really kind of elementary stuff [00:10:03] But then I thought about what god said in the book of hebrews to the hebrews [00:10:08] Was he was talking to people who were born again christians, but they were jewish [00:10:13] and they were battling this thing of going back to [00:10:17] Keeping the law like circumcision and in sacrifices blood sacrifices and the feast and the levitical priesthood and all this stuff [00:10:24] And and he had to tell them, you know, he told them in chapter 5 he goes, you know [00:10:30] You need to be taught again the basic principles [00:10:34] Of christ and then he goes into the foundational doctrines of christ [00:10:39] And and he was telling me the whole purpose of the book of hebrews was tell these hebrew christians [00:10:43] You don't have to keep [00:10:45] The old covenant laws and rituals to be saved [00:10:49] It's through jesus and jesus alone and we have a better covenant with better promises now and that indeed [00:10:57] The law has been changed and there is an old covenant law and there is a new covenant law [00:11:02] And there is a difference and and folks if you can't rightly divide that right there if you're a teacher [00:11:09] A preacher a pastor a minister or even just you know [00:11:13] What we call a lay christian with whatever that means [00:11:17] and you can't [00:11:18] divide there's a difference between [00:11:21] Old testament and new testament and understand what they are [00:11:26] Um, then you're in you're in serious trouble. You're headed for [00:11:30] You're headed for deep dark deception [00:11:32] Um, now I want to give the the definition. It's interesting here from second timothy [00:11:37] Uh 215 when the phrase is he's rightly dividing which is very interesting because you wouldn't think of okay [00:11:43] We have to divide things that almost sounds negative [00:11:47] But the word of god is done in such a way [00:11:50] It's it's like a puzzle and we have to put it together and we have to understand [00:11:55] Again, what things were for this covenant and what things are for this covenant? [00:11:59] What was brought over from the old covenant to the new covenant that's very important [00:12:04] Um, but the the phrase and the strongs in the greek and the original greek rightly dividing [00:12:10] I'm, not even going to try to pronounce this word. I guess well, I guess I should it's or or thotoma [00:12:14] I guess that's how you say it mata oo or whatever [00:12:17] And it means here it says to make a straight cut [00:12:22] to dissect [00:12:24] Expound correctly the divine message [00:12:27] Now that's pretty important there. We must [00:12:30] make a straight cut [00:12:32] We must [00:12:33] rightly dissect and expound [00:12:36] the divine message of the bible and [00:12:38] number one [00:12:40] on that list [00:12:42] is [00:12:43] Old testament new testament [00:12:46] What are the differences? [00:12:48] What what are we required now as new testament new covenant born again? [00:12:54] Christians following jesus christ what is required of us and this is really the big question [00:12:59] Because you got the group over here saying you got to keep the savants [00:13:02] You got to keep the fish you got to keep the dietary laws [00:13:04] You got to keep all these old testament laws, then you have scriptures and galatians and colossians in acts 15 a lot [00:13:11] We're going to get into that says no [00:13:13] Gentiles do not have to do these things born again christians do not have to these are not a requirement anymore [00:13:19] These are not upon us to have to do to obtain [00:13:23] Right standing with god [00:13:25] Um, and and this is vitally important [00:13:29] Now this this movement i'm going to tell you it's turning into [00:13:33] Occultic and I want to say this I mean cultic and [00:13:37] To the point it's becoming total [00:13:40] heresy [00:13:41] Because this is what paul warned i'm going to give this verse again galatians 5 4 [00:13:46] But this is what the apostle paul warned [00:13:49] In galatians and the book of galatians the entire book is about this issue [00:13:55] of not [00:13:57] Going back to the law to to get your righteousness, but looking to jesus christ and his shed blood [00:14:02] Alone and paul wrote this galatians 5 4. He says christ has become [00:14:07] No effect unto you [00:14:09] Whosoever of you are justified by the law you are fallen from grace [00:14:15] So I can't even think of any stronger words [00:14:19] That could be spoken to a christian. He said maybe you're going to hell [00:14:23] Except to say that christ our savior our lord our redeemer [00:14:28] The one who shed his blood on the cross and rose from the dead that paid the price so we could [00:14:32] Be righteous and be forgiven and be cleansed and be saved and be ready to go to heaven [00:14:38] He did all that to say that christ has become [00:14:41] no effect [00:14:43] no effect [00:14:45] to you [00:14:46] if [00:14:47] You seek to be justified or made righteous [00:14:52] by the deeds of the law [00:14:54] The moment you start to think the moment you start to believe in your heart [00:14:58] That I have to keep the sabbath [00:15:01] the feast [00:15:02] These different requirements of the others to be righteous [00:15:06] Circumcision whatever you name it new moons [00:15:11] The moment you begin to say that's where I find my righteousness [00:15:15] Now you might grant it you might say oh, no, but but I find my righteousness in jesus [00:15:19] But it in inside if you're believing and you're thinking [00:15:23] That no, I have to do these things [00:15:26] Sabbath feast things that's what's going to make me really right with god [00:15:32] then what happens [00:15:34] is [00:15:36] christ, jesus becomes [00:15:38] No effect to you [00:15:40] And listen if jesus is no effect to you in your life [00:15:45] You can say yeshua a million times [00:15:49] You can say yeshua hamashi a million times [00:15:53] But if you're seeking righteousness [00:15:55] by torah observance [00:15:58] Then christ has become [00:16:00] No [00:16:01] Effect to you [00:16:03] And you are in a very dangerous dangerous place [00:16:07] I'm going to run through a few more scriptures here. Just go galatians 4 21. Let's look at this [00:16:13] Paul said tell me [00:16:14] You that desire to be under the law. Do you not hear the law? [00:16:19] Cursed be he and here's this is the law deuteronomy 27 26 [00:16:24] Cursed be he that confirmeth not all [00:16:27] The works of the law to do them [00:16:30] And all the people shall say amen [00:16:33] deuteronomy 27 26 [00:16:36] Cursed [00:16:38] Is everyone that's what the law so paul said hear the law and then he goes on [00:16:41] To say and this is galatians 3 10 and 11 [00:16:44] For as many as are of the works of the law and he's talking to christians here [00:16:50] For many as of are the works of the law are under the curse for it is written cursed is everyone [00:16:55] That continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them [00:17:00] But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of god [00:17:04] It is evident for the just shall live by faith [00:17:07] And he gives the scripture from the book of habakkuk [00:17:10] Now he goes on galatians 2 and it's like kind of like in this one. I'm going to work a little bit backwards here [00:17:15] We went through galatians 1 through 5 last time [00:17:20] We're going to touch on 6 here [00:17:22] But this is how serious this is [00:17:25] galatians 2 14 through 16 [00:17:28] Paul said but when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel [00:17:34] I said unto peter before them all if thou being a jew [00:17:37] Livest after the manner of the gentiles and not as do the jews why compel us thou the gentiles to live as do the jews [00:17:44] We who are jews by nature and not sinners of the gentiles knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law [00:17:49] But by the faith of jesus christ even we have believed in jesus christ [00:17:53] That we might be justified by the faith of christ and not [00:17:57] By the works of the law for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified [00:18:05] crystal clear this is why they hate the book of galatians because it is crystal clear [00:18:10] and then we back up to [00:18:14] galatians 1 [00:18:17] And we see if you you go through the entire book and you see the context of what paul was saying [00:18:23] Was a perversion of the gospel of jesus christ when you try to say i've got to keep [00:18:28] The sabbath the feast the new moons the whatever [00:18:32] I've got to do that to be really right with god [00:18:36] Paul said the people who are pushing this teaching you this [00:18:40] Trying to trying to draw you into this trying to compel you into this to to live as do the jews [00:18:46] He speaks to the galatians in chapter one and this is galatians 1 6 through 7. He says i'm marvel [00:18:54] That you are so soon removed [00:18:56] From him that called you into the grace of christ unto another gospel [00:19:01] He calls this torah observance as a requirement to be righteous [00:19:06] another gospel [00:19:10] He says which is not another but there are some [00:19:13] There be some that trouble you and would pervert [00:19:17] the gospel [00:19:18] of christ [00:19:20] I mean again context context context. So say pastor ding why are you even wasting time on this somebody somebody accused me of [00:19:28] Of just getting into controversy. No, this this is to the core [00:19:33] Of the new testament gospel of jesus christ [00:19:36] The gospel that the apostles preached the gospel that the apostle paul laid out for us [00:19:41] This is the core of it. Where do we find our righteousness now again? I'm going to show you in a minute [00:19:47] It doesn't mean we can live immoral [00:19:50] Totally lawless. There is an old testament law. There was a new testament law [00:19:54] We must obey the new testament law the law of christ. I'll get into that in a minute [00:20:00] but [00:20:01] This right here is so serious [00:20:03] and [00:20:04] Uh, you know the apostle paul under the inspiration of the holy spirit he he called this [00:20:10] this this [00:20:12] What we'll call this torah observance as a requirement to not be lawless another gospel and a perversion of the gospel of christ [00:20:20] and [00:20:22] How much stronger can you get? [00:20:25] Christ has become no effecting you [00:20:28] People are troubling you pushing these ideas [00:20:33] It's another gospel. It's a perversion of the gospel of christ [00:20:38] In fact, you know, I I didn't ever I really didn't think I have to be honest 30 years as a as a minister as a pastor [00:20:46] Traveled as an evangelist traveled overseas preached in [00:20:50] Africa the middle east [00:20:53] I never thought that this would be an issue [00:20:56] in the end time [00:20:57] That this would be the problem [00:20:59] I always knew that the hyper grace message once they've always saved no matter how you live the extreme [00:21:05] You know the perverted grace message [00:21:08] Would be a problem. It's always been a problem, you know, especially since the reformation. It's been a problem [00:21:14] Calvin john calvin [00:21:16] It's been an issue [00:21:18] My first book was entitled grace abuse one of the greatest hindrances to genuine revival [00:21:23] But even within that book that I that I go through and thoroughly say a christian cannot live [00:21:28] in sin in a more [00:21:31] immorality the sins listed in the new testament as sins unto death [00:21:35] I go through that. You can't practice those habitually. I never once in that book [00:21:41] Advocated you must go back and keep the old covenant law [00:21:45] See again, i'm trying to make this as clear as I can [00:21:49] There's two sides of the ditch here [00:21:52] there's [00:21:53] The grace ditch over here where you're like i'm once saved always say no matter what [00:21:59] And then there's the ditch over here that says no, I have to [00:22:03] in in [00:22:05] Addition to having faith in jesus. I have to keep [00:22:09] The rituals and the practices of the law of moses to be righteous [00:22:15] those are [00:22:16] The two ditches that are going to get that are getting people in a whole mess of trouble and and what's sad is both [00:22:24] Both of these ditches that are people, you know [00:22:27] gazillions of people are in they don't understand they're blinded to the fact that [00:22:33] They're deceived that they're lost. They think they're right. They they've got their idea of you know [00:22:37] The the nuts over here have their idea of what you know [00:22:40] Grace covers everything and I can do what I want and then you got the people over here [00:22:44] They think I got to keep as many of the old testament laws and rituals as I possibly can to be right with god [00:22:51] and and [00:22:52] Those two are are are demonic [00:22:55] their deception [00:22:56] They're destructive [00:22:58] Now what's so interesting is? [00:23:01] These I know that these teachers and zealots [00:23:04] Of this toro movement they constantly try to diminish [00:23:09] The writings of paul in the new testament and you know, he destroys because he destroys the argument [00:23:14] That we must keep the law of moses to be right with god [00:23:18] Um now here's what's bad and this is why i'm addressing this is that some in this movement even go so far as to label [00:23:24] the apostle paul a false teacher [00:23:27] And the new testament as corrupted and unreliable [00:23:31] I mean, this is an example of how deep this error can take a person [00:23:35] I might let you heard one god tell me on on my video that I did about this [00:23:40] That the new testament was poisoned [00:23:43] Now this is a person claiming to be a born again christian in the hebraic roots movement [00:23:48] The toro observant telling me the new testament is poison that paul is a false teacher [00:23:54] That we have to basically throw out [00:23:57] most of the new testament [00:24:00] Now i'm [00:24:01] I'm blown away. But again once you move under the curse once christ becomes of no effect to you [00:24:07] You're open to all kinds of stuff [00:24:10] Now this they say now think about this this they say about the new testament [00:24:14] even though [00:24:16] The new testament has more manuscript evidence and i'm talking about ancient manuscript evidence [00:24:22] historical references from first and second and third century christians and even [00:24:28] Non-christian historians it has more manuscript evidence than any 10 books in antiquity [00:24:35] 25,000 plus manuscript copies of the new testament homer's alien has like 600 and something [00:24:41] caesar's gallic wars that we count as [00:24:44] Legitimate historical fact has 10 [00:24:48] manuscript [00:24:50] And yet the new testament [00:24:53] has 25,000 plus [00:24:56] historians of the day like josephus and tacitas the roman and and josephus the jew [00:25:01] Who confirmed these events as real and then we have the manuscripts going all the way back to the first century [00:25:08] You know during the time of the apostles [00:25:12] And you've got these people [00:25:15] you know [00:25:17] The new testament we can't trust the new line because it it goes against your precious little torah [00:25:23] over here [00:25:24] The law of moses it it oh the new testament actually changed some things [00:25:28] I mean, I hope some of you are glad some of you out there that are watching me right now [00:25:32] Listen to me right now and you're you're getting ill because you're torah observers [00:25:37] Um, i'm just gonna ask you when you're gonna start stoning your rebellious children [00:25:41] start stoning homosexuals [00:25:44] When are you gonna start? [00:25:46] Practicing the law [00:25:49] Because if you don't practice i'm just going to say this if you don't practice all 613 of them [00:25:53] Then the bottle says you're guilty of breaking them [00:25:56] So you're just as lawless as you try to accuse everyone else of being [00:25:59] and then on top of it [00:26:02] You know if you if [00:26:04] If you don't keep them if you know, if you don't do all you know, some of them some of them [00:26:08] Say well, we just do the best we can well, guess what that's picking and choosing which is the same thing [00:26:13] You accuse people who don't [00:26:16] Tor you just pick and choose and from the bottle what you want. So it's amazing that what they accuse [00:26:23] Non torah observers, I'm gonna say free christians [00:26:29] Not slaves to the law what they accuse us of [00:26:34] They're doing themselves [00:26:36] which [00:26:38] is [00:26:39] Mind-blowing in itself [00:26:41] But I mean come on folks the new testament now this now listen [00:26:46] If you think and i'm just going to say this if you think that they're denying parts of the [00:26:50] Or parts are all of the new testament is unheard of but liable was not [00:26:55] uh [00:26:57] You know if you thought that was enough, you know, if you thought that's just terrible they they're taking it even further [00:27:04] Because many of these people that are getting into this now [00:27:08] Are denying the biblical doctrines of the trinity and the deity of jesus christ as god who came in the flesh [00:27:16] And this is not something i'm making up. I have witnessed this in numerous facebook discussions and comments [00:27:22] Many of which that I took screenshots of so I would have [00:27:26] The evidence and i'm going to give you right here a few quotes direct quotes from torah observant christians [00:27:34] hebraic roots christians in a discussion on facebook [00:27:39] And and I didn't even take I just took a handful [00:27:43] I could have taken and I did take pictures of many many more, but this is just to give you [00:27:48] An idea [00:27:50] These are direct quotes from torah christians. Let me read this the new testament is poison. That's one [00:27:56] The new testament is a fraud [00:27:58] They said that's another [00:28:00] Claiming jesus, of course, they say yeshua [00:28:03] They said claiming jesus is god in the flesh is a violation of the first commandment [00:28:10] Meaning you shall have no other gods before me [00:28:12] They're saying that if you say jesus christ is god in the flesh as the new testament does [00:28:16] You are violating the first commandment. So they're clearly saying that jesus christ is not god in the flesh [00:28:23] Though both the old testament and the new testament present that [00:28:27] clearly [00:28:28] in numerous places [00:28:30] Um, that's one thing [00:28:32] So they say the new testament is poison [00:28:34] The new testament is a fraud claiming jesus [00:28:37] Is god in the flesh as a violation of the first commandment another said yeshua wasn't deity [00:28:46] Another said the church has made jesus an idol [00:28:50] The church has made jesus [00:28:53] an idol [00:28:56] yes [00:28:57] Um, and another said mockingly. Oh, you know, it's all about the cross as they went on to mock further [00:29:03] Um [00:29:07] Another one said christians idolized messiah in a way. He never intended [00:29:13] The doctrine of the trinity is false [00:29:16] And the final one directly from [00:29:19] I'm gonna say it mr. Rob skeeb himself [00:29:23] Who's one of the leaders of this? [00:29:25] Movement out there [00:29:27] He said what if I told you yeshua and then he puts in parentheses or jesus if you prefer [00:29:34] Is not the end goal [00:29:36] What if I told you? [00:29:38] Jesus is not the end goal. I'm just blown away [00:29:45] But think about this [00:29:47] This makes a whole lot of sense and you can put up the revelation 2 9 here [00:29:53] for this [00:29:56] Apostasy and i'm just going to call it that this falling away from truth from scripture [00:30:01] That uh, you've got to be torah observant. You got to keep the law and where these people are going with this stuff [00:30:08] Denying the trinity denying the deity of jesus [00:30:13] Saying that jesus the church has made jesus an idol [00:30:16] I don't even know [00:30:18] What to say about saying jesus is not the end goal [00:30:21] I'm gonna tell you what he may not be your end goal, but he's mine [00:30:26] He's the only one I want to be with he's the only one I want to see [00:30:30] And yes, I believe father son and holy ghost. I believe the three are one i'm telling you. I don't care [00:30:35] Jesus is the one [00:30:37] Who died on that cross he is the fullness? [00:30:41] And this is this is this is what I love, you know, it's it's plain in colossians, too [00:30:46] He is the fullness jesus christ the fullness of the godhead bodily [00:30:51] You look that up you look up godhead and it means [00:30:55] complete god completely god [00:30:58] not part of god [00:31:00] not a god [00:31:02] Not a son of god completely the fullness of the godhead bodily [00:31:08] That's who jesus is or yeshua if you prefer [00:31:12] That's who he is [00:31:14] And if you deny that i'm gonna tell you right now if you deny who he is in the flesh [00:31:20] That is the spirit of antichrist. It is the spirit of antichrist. It's the same demon spirit [00:31:27] That works in islam that denies his deity [00:31:31] Who he is in the flesh it denies? [00:31:34] Uh the mormons the joe of witnesses. This is why I call it a cult. You say i'm being mean [00:31:40] but if your leaders [00:31:42] Are saying these things and tolerating this kind of heresy this kind of false teaching [00:31:48] This kind of blasphemy if you're teaching that [00:31:52] And allowing that permitting that [00:31:55] Then you are a cult [00:31:57] you're deceived [00:31:59] and [00:32:01] this verse [00:32:03] really [00:32:04] I'll tell you what i've read the bible for over 30 years [00:32:08] And i've read this verse many many times, but now it has an entirely [00:32:12] New application in my life as I see what's happening [00:32:16] Jesus spoke to a gentile church mind you [00:32:19] in revelation 2 9 [00:32:22] He's speaking to the church of smirner there. And what does he say? He says [00:32:26] I know the blasphemy [00:32:29] Of them which say they are jews [00:32:31] Now here's a bunch of gentiles running around saying they're jews [00:32:37] And he says I know the blasphemy of them that say they are jews and are not but are of the synagogue of satan [00:32:44] And i'm going to make it very clear if you're running around here a jew want to be [00:32:49] You're trying to wear the tallit you're trying to wear the yamakas [00:32:52] You got the mazuzas and and you're you're doing everything you can to be a jew. That's your business. That's fine [00:32:58] That's what you want to do [00:33:00] But the moment you start saying stuff like we've got to keep the law of moses to be righteous [00:33:06] When you start saying the the trinity is not a biblical doctrine. Oh that came from roman catholicism [00:33:10] No, it was a biblical doctrine long before roman catholicism came around [00:33:15] And when you start saying stuff like that when you start saying that jesus christ the messiah the savior is not deity [00:33:22] When isaiah 9 6 makes that clear [00:33:25] When the new testament makes that very clear [00:33:29] When you start saying these things then you are blaspheming [00:33:33] The lord jesus christ and you're denying who he is in the flesh and you are truly the synagogue of satan [00:33:40] You are no different [00:33:42] And you know what frankly, I don't care if I lose people [00:33:46] from church facebook [00:33:49] youtube [00:33:51] Subscribers, I don't care. This is the truth of the word of god. And if you don't like it [00:33:57] Too bad [00:33:59] If you're in this and this is what you're starting to believe in your heart and starting to say with your mouth [00:34:04] You better fall on your face and you better repent and you better come back [00:34:09] to jesus as god in the flesh [00:34:13] And you better start respecting him and not blaspheming him [00:34:17] Uh, or you're gonna find yourself saying ah, yes, you are and he's gonna go. I don't know you [00:34:24] I don't know you you're a blasphemer [00:34:28] You denied who I was in the flesh [00:34:30] You're of the synagogue satan get out of here now that I can say with authority [00:34:36] Because that's what the bible says now here. Let's let's let's jump to this part [00:34:42] And I hope everybody's still with me [00:34:44] um [00:34:46] Again, I know we're going to make people mad [00:34:47] But you know what if it comes down to me making people mad for saying that jesus christ the blood of jesus christ is enough [00:34:55] to make us righteous [00:34:57] If that's going to be [00:34:59] What makes you mad? [00:35:03] Then bye. Bye go to hell. Go do what you want to do if you want to go to hell [00:35:08] And you're going to paddle your canoe there with your tallit and your yamaka's and your mezuzas and your [00:35:14] And your menorahs and your holla bread and your shabbat services and your you know, whatever [00:35:20] Just paddle that canoe on as you blaspheme [00:35:25] It's time to wake up [00:35:27] Now these deceivers i'm gonna tell you that are pushing this [00:35:32] They're very good [00:35:35] They're very good at avoiding [00:35:37] The passages in the bible that debunk [00:35:40] Their law keeping for righteousness i'll call it [00:35:43] Um, but what troubles me is that some of them are very very good at speaking out of both sides of their mouth [00:35:50] For instance, give you an example here and i've heard this and I could I could play it for you [00:35:55] I almost thought about getting the sound clip, but i'm not going to go that far tonight [00:36:00] But I have heard them say some of the teachers of this hebraic roots torah observant movement [00:36:06] Say this they'll say [00:36:09] Oh, hey, hey, we don't believe you are saved by keeping torah keeping the law of moses [00:36:15] We don't believe you get saved that way [00:36:18] We believe you are saved through faith in yeshua [00:36:20] They'll say that [00:36:22] But then later on if you keep listening or if you watch another video or listen to another teaching or [00:36:28] Whatever you'll hear them say [00:36:31] um [00:36:32] Well, if you don't keep the torah, you are a lawless [00:36:36] Antinominate, I mean you you're lawless [00:36:41] Who will hear jesus say depart from me you lawless when I never knew you on the day of judgment [00:36:46] And i've heard this [00:36:50] I've heard this from some of the leaders of these different movements [00:36:54] So what they're doing is they're talking out of both sides of their mouth because they know that they're still trying to clean [00:36:59] They're still trying to get people into their movement by saying no. No, we we we still believe in in in faith [00:37:05] in jesus alone for salvation, but [00:37:09] Hey, if you don't come over here with us [00:37:12] And keep Passover [00:37:14] And trumpets and tabernacles [00:37:17] You don't come over here and keep the feast and you don't come over here and keep the law of moses with us [00:37:21] If you don't come over here, you know, stop eating pork stop eating the bacon [00:37:25] If you don't come over here [00:37:27] And and join us then you know what you're you're lawless. You don't keep the sabbath. You're lawless [00:37:32] now when they start telling [00:37:35] Christians that are not very knowledgeable of the bible [00:37:39] or young christians [00:37:41] They start telling them these things [00:37:43] they're playing on these [00:37:45] especially new christians and christians that have a [00:37:48] sincere desire to obey god and to live for god [00:37:52] They're playing on that and and and so these christians who don't understand how to rightly divide the word particularly new covenant no covenant [00:38:00] That's they're playing on that and pulling them into the movement and they're using [00:38:05] a little bit of truth [00:38:07] with a lie [00:38:10] and [00:38:12] It's really it's really disturbing to watch. It's really [00:38:16] Terribly disturbing to watch because i'm seeing people [00:38:19] really [00:38:21] Um, and and and because of this people get turned off [00:38:24] You know, I had a pretty listen, I had I had this happen the other day [00:38:28] This is the first time I told my wife first time in 30 years of being a minister [00:38:34] Most of that being the pastor of a church. I'm a church planner. So I start churches [00:38:39] so [00:38:41] And of course, I have been a youth pastor and a singles minister in big and small churches [00:38:45] So i've done a little bit of everything in the ministry [00:38:48] But this is the first time in 30 years. I had a a young man who watched one of our videos [00:38:54] On facebook, I believe one of my sermons one of them is he loved it. I could tell he loved the message [00:38:59] And he even contacted me. He said, you know, I really need I really need a church [00:39:03] I really need to start going to a church. He goes when's your next service? [00:39:07] And at that point I said well the next church the church service is sunday at 10 30 and and this was his question to me [00:39:13] Why sundays? [00:39:15] And I knew exactly where this was going [00:39:18] Why sundays and I was like I said because i'm not under the law [00:39:23] That's why [00:39:26] And then I said well, I said if you want a more detailed explanation [00:39:29] Then I gave him the two-hour teaching that we did a few weeks ago on this broadcast [00:39:35] I didn't hear back from him. I don't know if he received it or he didn't receive it, but really [00:39:42] That's going to determine [00:39:44] How you pick a church or a pastor? [00:39:48] How you how you how you're going to flow and operate in the body of christie? I see this it is dividing people [00:39:55] and it is keeping [00:39:57] Sincere people who are getting bound up in this law keeping business this torah [00:40:02] Law of moses keeping business. It's keeping them away from from other believers that they need in their lives [00:40:10] And i'm telling you this kind of division over the law if that's what you're doing [00:40:15] You're going to pay dearly [00:40:18] You're going to pay dearly [00:40:20] dearly [00:40:21] On judgment day. I hate to say you you cannot make these little ones stumble [00:40:26] And the bible talks about putting a yoke [00:40:29] of bondage [00:40:31] If you if you put people in this you're putting a yoke of bondage on it [00:40:35] Just what it says [00:40:36] um [00:40:38] I know I need to move on here, but [00:40:41] um [00:40:43] I hope everybody's still with me. This is a little different tonight. I mean, I I have 14 pages of notes [00:40:48] I don't even know if i'm gonna be able to get through this [00:40:50] All of this tonight [00:40:52] But that's why we set this up so you can see the scriptures. Hopefully we can [00:40:56] um [00:40:59] But this is just disturbing and another point, you know, they play on of course and I [00:41:03] And and trust me. I understand there's a lot of problems [00:41:07] within [00:41:09] traditional churches [00:41:10] uh [00:41:12] When when I say tradition i'm talking about traditional denominational churches baptist method is presbyterian. Whatever you want to say [00:41:17] I know there's a lot of problems [00:41:18] You know that I I have a problem with the churches that want to celebrate halloween and easter and santa claus [00:41:24] I understand that I got a problem with that. I don't believe we should be doing it [00:41:28] I've got problems with with churches that have free masons as elders and deacons and [00:41:34] That won't deal with sin in the camp and all of these things [00:41:37] I know there are problems within a lot of traditional churches, but that's still not a reason [00:41:44] To find you another error and I think a lot of people are fleeing from problems. They've had [00:41:50] In traditional churches, even though a lot of those traditional churches are correct in looking to jesus and the cross for righteousness [00:41:59] And the cleansing blood of jesus and and that we don't have to keep the law of moses [00:42:03] They're right about that, but they're wrong about a lot of other stuff. So a lot of people are fleeing that [00:42:07] And they're and they're running into this [00:42:10] Hebraic roots movement this torah observant movement [00:42:13] And folks, it's just it's dead. It's the letter killeth [00:42:17] the letter of the law [00:42:19] kills [00:42:21] and [00:42:22] It's killing [00:42:24] Relationships, it's hurting the body of christ [00:42:27] Um, i'm just praying that more and more churches and pastors are going to be [00:42:33] Taking a stand and showing there's a balance [00:42:35] We don't have to be the extreme [00:42:38] In the law and we don't have to be the extreme [00:42:41] in hyper grace either [00:42:43] um [00:42:44] But anyway, that's just that that's kind of the motivation because I know listen. I know a lot of you listening to me [00:42:50] Um, and and many that will hear and watch this message [00:42:53] Um, I know a lot of you are sincere people. You just want to do the right thing [00:42:58] You just want to obey god you want to love god you want to do whatever is necessary? [00:43:02] It's so very admirable [00:43:04] so [00:43:05] wonderful [00:43:07] um [00:43:08] Don't let these people take advantage of you [00:43:10] Don't let these people deceive you [00:43:13] um [00:43:13] I had a discussion with a guy that came on my youtube channel and he was very very [00:43:18] christ-like very polite asking questions about this [00:43:23] and um [00:43:24] You know what's amazing is is he went back and I said [00:43:27] If you want to know where I stand on this because that's where I stood on the savage keeping and all that I said [00:43:32] I said it's too much to type here in in youtube. So go listen to the [00:43:38] Two-hour teaching. I said it's not complete [00:43:40] It's not going to answer every single question you ask me [00:43:43] But I said but it's at least a good start and you know what I was blessed by here's a guy [00:43:47] That's getting into this. I'll tell you through that one was a guy or woman. I'm assuming it was a guy [00:43:52] Well, here's a guy getting into this and you know sincerely seeking what what do I need to do? [00:43:57] How do I need to live as a new testament christian? [00:44:01] and [00:44:02] asking honest questions [00:44:04] And then you say here look I I did a teaching through the entire book of Galatians [00:44:10] Go listen to that and and then you'll know where I stand and maybe we can talk further [00:44:15] What's beautiful is he went he actually did it. Nobody a lot of people will never do that [00:44:19] Especially if they're already leaning to the other side, they'll never look [00:44:23] again [00:44:24] And and try to find balance [00:44:26] So I was amazed he went and listened to the whole thing and he said [00:44:30] That it caused him to spend the entire weekend studying his bible and re [00:44:36] Evaluating this and he actually said, you know, I agree with you on a lot of these points [00:44:40] And he came back to the question though. I he said I don't believe we have to keep all these things either [00:44:45] But what about the Sabbath day? It's in the 10 commandments. I said well [00:44:49] I didn't really address that a whole lot in the other but I will address it [00:44:53] But that's the way to handle it. I just love people that are you know [00:44:58] They they question and they're open and they you know, if you really want to [00:45:03] know where someone stands you can't just come in and start calling them an idiot and [00:45:08] You know you people would come on my youtube channel after I did the first he break roots thing [00:45:13] They would come on you're an idiot. You have no clue. You need to read your bible. Come on, dude [00:45:18] Been reading the bible for 30 plus years [00:45:21] Don't that's just an insult don't say you're an idiot. I've been saved 30 years [00:45:25] Some of these people have been saved five years and they call me an idiot [00:45:29] I'm just like man. You don't even know what you're doing. You come at me like that [00:45:34] More than likely i'm just going to cut you off because you're a fool [00:45:37] You're just you're and you're not christ like and the law is making you mean [00:45:42] Like the Pharisees making you mean like Kevin said before we started he said yes [00:45:46] Some of these people are getting downright [00:45:48] Mean [00:45:50] I said, yeah [00:45:51] I said, you know [00:45:52] When their little bubble gets popped by anything [00:45:56] It's attack attack attack instead of no, let me look at both sides of this. Let me let me reevaluate [00:46:03] Maybe maybe I am wrong. You know, that's what I love. Dr. Michael Brown [00:46:07] Jewish man born again christian. He agreed. He will agree with me on all this a hundred percent [00:46:13] phd new york university [00:46:16] you know [00:46:17] expert in mideaster languages [00:46:21] But [00:46:22] You know, he he would totally he would totally and completely agree [00:46:27] That we don't have to keep the law of moses [00:46:29] And one of the things I learned from him and and he and I don't always agree on everything [00:46:33] But one of the things I learned from him he said years ago [00:46:35] He said when you when you are criticized when you are [00:46:39] Attacked about something you've taught or preached or whatever or you believe [00:46:43] The first thing you ought to ask yourself [00:46:47] Is the critic right? [00:46:51] Is there a possibility? [00:46:52] I'm wrong that i'm not seeing the whole picture that i'm just I have tunnel vision [00:46:58] On this one thing that I haven't considered the whole thing and that's why I like these people these young young guys [00:47:05] You want to you want to come attack me? Look I was some of you some of you out there [00:47:10] I was going to messianic congregations [00:47:13] and [00:47:14] Delving into this before you were born [00:47:18] So don't come at me with you're an idiot read your bible [00:47:23] I am i'm not about to play that game with you [00:47:26] Now you're going to be a shipwrecked soul out there. Just go on with your with your bad self and see what happens [00:47:33] Because it's not going to end well that pride and that attitude is not going to end well [00:47:38] um [00:47:39] But let's look at this. Let's go back [00:47:40] We're going to go now to and we're just going to keep rolling. I'm going to keep rolling tonight [00:47:45] I don't even think we're going to take a break. I'm just going to keep rolling with it [00:47:48] But let's go back to the question. Must christians keep the law of moses are christians required by god to keep the sabbath [00:47:56] the seventh day every week [00:47:58] saturday the sabbath [00:48:00] The feasts the new moons other laws and rituals of the old testament [00:48:04] um [00:48:06] You know, this is not a new question and that's what we need to understand. This is not a new question [00:48:12] It was settled not just by [00:48:15] The epistles and the teachings of the apostle paul [00:48:19] You gotta back up to the book of acts you paul haters [00:48:21] You need to listen you need to back up to the book of acts and we need to read [00:48:26] how all of the apostles [00:48:29] and a council of elders [00:48:33] Settled this decision [00:48:35] For the church for the new testament church in the first century and if you can't receive that [00:48:40] You are hopeless. You are just stubborn and hopeless [00:48:45] Because the question's already been asked and let's let's just read it. This is [00:48:51] Acts 15 we're going to start at verse one read here and certain men [00:48:57] Which came down from judia taught the brother and said except she be circumcised after the manner of moses [00:49:05] You cannot be saved [00:49:07] Now let's just stop right there [00:49:10] These certain men came down to judia and taught the brother and they taught christians born again christians people were already saved [00:49:16] Already filled with the holy spirit already living a christian life [00:49:21] And these guys come down. So no, no, no, no, wait a minute. You're not complete. You don't have enough [00:49:26] You've got to make sure you got to go back and make sure you're circumcised [00:49:31] according to the law [00:49:33] You're going to be circumcised to be saved or you cannot be saved [00:49:39] Now folks you say well these hebraic roots and these torah observers would say oh, but we don't say that [00:49:44] We don't say that. Yes, you do the moment you call somebody lawless in an [00:49:49] Antinominant the moment that they say we don't have to keep the the laws and rituals of the old testament [00:49:54] You're saying that you cannot be saved unless you do the law of moses [00:49:57] You're doing the exact same thing. These guys were doing here [00:50:01] in acts [00:50:02] chapter 15 [00:50:04] To the church to the brethren [00:50:07] And he continues verse two. He says when therefore paul and barnabas [00:50:11] Had no small dissension and disputation [00:50:15] With them [00:50:16] They determined that paul and barnabas and certain other of them should go up to jerusalem unto the apostles [00:50:21] And unto the elders about this question [00:50:24] And being brought on their way by the church [00:50:26] They passed through phonies and samaria declaring the conversion of the gentiles and they caused great joy unto all the brethren [00:50:34] And when they were come to jerusalem [00:50:37] They were received of the church and of the apostles and the elders and they declared all things that god had done with them [00:50:43] But there arose up certain of the sect of the pharisees [00:50:48] Oh, there's a sect always [00:50:50] Among the brethren [00:50:52] At jerusalem there rose up a certain [00:50:54] Uh of the sect of the pharisees which believed saying that it was needful [00:50:59] To circumcise them speaking of the gentiles and to command them to keep the law of moses [00:51:07] So it's not enough. Jesus is not enough even though you've already been saved gentiles corneas his household even though [00:51:13] The gospel through had gone through peter to the corneas his household and spread [00:51:17] Through to the gentiles and then paul had been sent out paul and barnabas and then paul and silas had been sent out and had already led [00:51:24] You know [00:51:25] Hundreds and thousands of gentiles to the lord jesus to salvation to the baptism [00:51:31] Holy spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues and the gifts of the holy ghost and miracles had been wrought [00:51:36] by them [00:51:39] Boom, you come in and you're going to say oh, no. No, that's not enough [00:51:42] Salvation through faith in jesus christ through repentance of sin [00:51:48] Salvation through jesus through faith is not enough [00:51:53] You've got to keep the law of moses [00:51:56] You've got to be circumcised and you got to keep the law of moses [00:52:01] Is there is there any difference? [00:52:03] We talk about the sabbath. We talk about the feast is the same principle circumcision [00:52:09] same thing [00:52:11] Let's keep reading [00:52:13] But there rose up certain of the sect of the pharisees which believed saying that it was needful [00:52:18] to circumcise them and to command them [00:52:21] To keep the law of moses [00:52:23] And the apostles and elders came together for to consider this matter [00:52:29] This is not new [00:52:31] Therefore the matters that the apostles and let's just reiterate this [00:52:35] Therefore the matters that the apostles and elders addressed were the questions of the ritual law of circumcision [00:52:42] And gentiles and are gentiles required to keep the law of moses. I mean, this is this is the issue [00:52:47] This is these are the issues. Do they have to be circumcised? Do they have to keep the law of moses the gentiles? [00:52:52] I mean this could not be more clear the context of acts 15 and the counsel of the elders and apostles could be more clear [00:52:58] So it's after much disputing on the matter [00:53:02] The apostle peter was given respect and allowed to give his word on the matter the apostle peter not paul [00:53:08] You paul haters the apostle peter [00:53:11] Was given respect everybody finally shut their mouths [00:53:14] And the man who shadow healed the sick who walked on the water with jesus [00:53:19] Was allowed to speak [00:53:21] Praise god [00:53:22] Right [00:53:24] He might have known a thing or two. What do you think? [00:53:31] So let's go to verse seven acts 15 verse seven and when there had been much disputing [00:53:37] Peter rose up and said unto them men and brethren [00:53:41] You know that a good while ago [00:53:43] God made choice among us that the gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel and believe [00:53:51] And god which knoweth the hearts and bear them witness giving them the holy ghost even as he did unto us [00:53:58] And put no difference between us and them purifying their hearts by faith [00:54:04] Now therefore why tempt ye god [00:54:07] To put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear what yoke [00:54:15] What yoke is he talking about? [00:54:18] Circumcision and the law of moses. Why are you going to try to put this yoke upon them? [00:54:22] They were not saved by the gentiles at corneas's household when peter went were not saved by keeping the law [00:54:28] They were saved by faith in jesus christ his death on the cross his shed blood and his resurrection alone [00:54:35] And when they believed in their heart [00:54:38] The gospel that peter preached of jesus the message of jesus christ [00:54:42] It says they were they were saved boom and then baptized filled with the holy ghost [00:54:48] Not by the deeds of the law not by any works of law not by keeping a feast not by keeping torah [00:54:53] Not by being circumcised. None of that had anything to do [00:54:57] With being saved filled with the holy ghost [00:55:00] None [00:55:04] And he says why do you tempt god? [00:55:06] Peter not paul peter. Why do you tempt god? [00:55:10] To put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear [00:55:16] but we believe [00:55:18] Through the grace of the lord. Jesus christ will shall be saved even as they I don't know about you [00:55:27] But this sounds like paul preaching this sounds like everything in the epistles [00:55:31] That paul wrote [00:55:33] We are not saved. We could not keep the law even us jews could not keep the law [00:55:40] We couldn't bear that yoke [00:55:44] And folks if there was if the old testament was perfect and was going to bring righteousness and life [00:55:49] There would be no need for the second [00:55:53] For the new testament. I want you to add. I want to ask the question. I mean, did you catch all that? [00:55:59] First the apostle peter. I won't say it again sounds just like the apostle paul and his epistles [00:56:04] Secondly, the apostle peter calls putting the requirements of the law of moses on the gentiles [00:56:10] He calls it one tempting god two [00:56:13] Putting a yoke of bondage on the disciples that the jews could not bear [00:56:20] And then peter I love it reiterate [00:56:24] The gentiles hearts were purified or made righteous by faith [00:56:28] And the grace of our lord. Jesus christ not by the deeds of the law of moses [00:56:35] And again, let's remember you paul haters [00:56:40] This message is recorded by luke in the book of acts [00:56:44] Shows that peter and all the apostles agreed with paul's gospel that was later recorded [00:56:52] In his letters to the churches [00:56:54] So you paul haters you you have to throw out peter too now [00:56:59] You have to throw out luke. You have to throw out acts [00:57:03] If you're going to throw out galations and hate on galations [00:57:07] You got to throw out acts 15 [00:57:10] You got to throw out the preaching of peter there [00:57:13] Which showed clearly what he believed in his heart [00:57:17] About the gentiles and the law [00:57:22] I'm gonna tell you this is crystal clear. It's plain as the nose on your face [00:57:27] But the council meeting of the apostles concluded with the apostle james [00:57:33] agreeing [00:57:34] With peter and paul and they wrote letters to send to the gentile churches by a group of faithful men [00:57:40] So let's read that [00:57:43] We're going to go down a little bit in acts. You can read the whole chapter on your own time [00:57:48] verse 22 [00:57:51] He says then it pleased or then pleased at the apostles and the elders [00:57:56] with the whole church [00:57:58] so [00:57:58] Everybody ought to say if you were here i'd make everybody and if if the church was full of people i'd say everybody say this would [00:58:05] It pleased [00:58:07] The apostles and the elders. It wasn't just the apostles but elders as well [00:58:12] with the whole church of jerusalem [00:58:16] To send chosen men of their company to anioc with paul and barnabas namely judas [00:58:20] Surnamed barcibus and sylas chief men among the brethren and they wrote letters by them after this manner [00:58:28] This is the letter they wrote to the gentile churches [00:58:31] The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting [00:58:35] Unto the brethren which are of the gentiles in anioc and syria and salicia [00:58:39] For as much as we have heard that certain which went out from us [00:58:44] Meaning us jews have troubled you with words [00:58:48] Subverting your soul saying that you must be circumcised and keep the law to whom we gave no such commandment [00:58:56] You said that even before this council [00:58:58] The apostles made it clear we have not said to anyone [00:59:03] Any newborn again gentile believer any new christian under the new covenant [00:59:08] We have not given any commandment even up to this point that you have to keep the law of moses [00:59:13] That means there were no commandments [00:59:16] From the apostles to keep the feast [00:59:19] to keep circumcision [00:59:22] the sabbath [00:59:23] Now granted a lot of them did because they were trying to win the jews around them [00:59:28] But they weren't doing it to gain [00:59:31] Their right standing with god and they were not putting that yoke of bondage [00:59:37] on the gentile church [00:59:40] So don't give me this crap [00:59:43] Well, the apostles kept the feast or the apostles did this [00:59:46] Yeah, you know what again? [00:59:48] I don't have any problem if I could invite into a jewish household to celebrate passover [00:59:53] I would go [00:59:56] I would go and try to be a witness and a light to those jewish people. I don't have a problem [01:00:01] It's okay. If you want to keep the feast [01:00:03] It's okay. If you want to keep the sabbath on saturday, that's fine and any but don't for one second tell anyone [01:00:10] They have to do it [01:00:13] Or they're lawless [01:00:15] Or they might not make it to heaven or they have to do that to be really right with god [01:00:21] Oh, no, no, no [01:00:24] Pardon me. I know I can't help but [01:00:26] Preach a little bit when I get going through the bible [01:00:30] Here we go [01:00:33] He says i'm going to back up again. He says for as much as we have heard [01:00:37] That certain which went out from us have troubled you with words [01:00:41] subverting your souls [01:00:43] Saying you must be circumcised and keep the law to whom we gave no such commandment [01:00:49] As seen good unto us being assembled with one accord [01:00:53] To send chosen men unto you with our beloved barnabas and paul [01:00:58] Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our lord. Jesus christ [01:01:02] We have sent therefore judas and silas who shall also tell you the same things by now. So they sent multiple witnesses [01:01:10] From the council from the apostles and elders in jerusalem [01:01:14] This is the way it's going to be [01:01:17] This is it [01:01:20] And and I love this part [01:01:22] Verse 28. He says for it seemed good to the [01:01:26] holy ghost [01:01:27] Imagine that the holy spirit. They said told us this is what this the holy spirit led us [01:01:33] It is the holy ghost giving us these instructions to give to the gentile churches. It's from the holy spirit [01:01:40] For it seemed good to the holy ghost [01:01:43] and to us [01:01:44] To lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things four things. They said they wanted the gentiles to do [01:01:54] He said one that you abstain from meats offered to idols [01:01:58] Number two from blood [01:02:01] Drinking blood which is practice in satanism in most [01:02:05] deep dark occultic groups [01:02:09] from drinking blood and from things strangled [01:02:12] and from fornication [01:02:15] From which if you keep yourselves ye shall do well [01:02:19] Fare you well [01:02:20] Now again, even with these things he didn't say [01:02:24] Well, this makes you save or unsay. He just said you need to stay away from these things [01:02:29] Now I want you to notice something here [01:02:31] Especially when it comes to the sabbath the keeping of the sabbath or saturday [01:02:36] Before we get into the rest of this. I want you to notice [01:02:39] That they did not make that requirement [01:02:42] Now had that been important [01:02:45] To the apostles and elders of jerusalem all jewish men [01:02:49] Had that been important [01:02:50] And and if they would believe that the gentiles really really really really really needed [01:02:56] To keep the sabbath every saturday [01:02:59] Seventh day [01:03:01] Then they would have put it in here [01:03:05] So [01:03:05] They didn't [01:03:07] So obviously [01:03:08] They were making a point [01:03:12] I mean, am I crazy? [01:03:16] But I just wanted you to notice that did you notice that feast days and new moons were not required? [01:03:21] Did you notice that circumcision was not required? [01:03:26] I mean, did you notice these things? [01:03:29] No, the only thing they they required you abstain from meats offered to idols [01:03:33] i.e participating in idolatrous worship [01:03:36] From the blood drinking from the things strangled instead of blood drained out [01:03:41] From fornication, which is a word really pornia that encompasses all forms of sexual immorality [01:03:48] And of course, you know, of course some now I had I saw a torah observer who's argued that because of the things strangled and blood [01:03:56] That they were advocating you keep all the law [01:03:59] Now listen some things in the law did carry over some did not that's why you need to read the new testament to know [01:04:05] What carried over and what didn't [01:04:08] um [01:04:11] It's a new contract [01:04:12] Versus the old contract, you know, i'm gonna tell you right now if a lawyer if a lawyer handed me a contract [01:04:19] He said I want you to sign this. Well, let me read it first [01:04:22] Read through the contract [01:04:24] Buying a house [01:04:26] Whatever read through the contract [01:04:28] All right. You know what? I don't like this. I don't like this. I don't like this. I'm not doing it [01:04:32] Or you know what? This is this is not this is not the this is not perfect [01:04:38] Okay, the lawyer said i'm gonna make a new contract. All right, i'm gonna make a new contract. Well, it's the same house [01:04:44] So there's going to be similarities [01:04:47] In the new contract versus the old contract. There'll be similarities in the contract [01:04:51] But the things that needed to be addressed the things that needed to be fixed [01:04:55] Are going to be fixed [01:04:57] Or fulfilled [01:04:59] And that's what the new covenant did. That's what the new contract did [01:05:04] um [01:05:06] I had a lady there too. Tell me it's so funny [01:05:09] When uh when I said this on one of my facebook [01:05:13] You know comments to answer somebody and I said there's two there's two different or it was youtube. I said there's two different contracts [01:05:20] New covenant is a contract the old covenant is the contract. You better look at the fine print [01:05:25] On both because there's some differences some some similarities, but some differences and some serious differences [01:05:32] And uh one lady came on she's one of these hebraic roots torah observers. And what does she say? [01:05:38] she says [01:05:39] um [01:05:40] It's not a contract [01:05:43] And look it up look up covenant in hebrew or greek and guess what it says [01:05:49] It's a contract [01:05:53] I mean even the words used in the strong greek dictionary for covenant contract [01:05:59] um [01:06:01] I mean these folks will argue with you [01:06:04] And they have no information about what they've been indoctrinated [01:06:08] by by this cult [01:06:11] um [01:06:19] There's just so much here. Um [01:06:22] Tor of course, you know some of the torah keepers argue that you know, these practices are on the law moses and [01:06:28] So it's all carried over but you know again, that's ridiculous [01:06:31] I mean it's it's ridiculous thinking that it's all it would all be carried over [01:06:36] Because they mentioned a couple of things in acts 15 [01:06:40] When the whole issue was to address the fact that the gentiles don't have to keep all of it [01:06:46] um [01:06:46] You know the apostles, uh [01:06:48] You know if that was the case if all of the law was carried over [01:06:54] Then all the the apostles had to tell the gentiles in their letter. They could just say hey [01:06:58] You have to keep all 1613 [01:07:01] Of the old testament laws to be really right with god [01:07:05] But guess what? [01:07:07] They didn't do that and paul didn't do that later in his epistles to the churches. So [01:07:13] Let's just get that clear now. We're gonna [01:07:16] We got we gotta move on [01:07:17] Well, it seems like we've been here for two hours. I hope that doesn't feel that way for you [01:07:22] But let's go on here and digging this. What about the sabbath and the 10 commandments? [01:07:27] All right [01:07:28] now when we look at any command or practice [01:07:33] in the old testament [01:07:35] The main two questions that we have to ask is this [01:07:39] Was this carried over into the new testament and if so [01:07:43] Were there any changes? [01:07:45] I mean it's pretty obvious that in the old covenant they were commanded to kill [01:07:50] lambs and bulls and goats as blood sacrifices as a covering for their sins [01:07:56] And as offerings to god it is clear and obvious that that is [01:08:01] no longer commanded [01:08:03] in the new testament [01:08:05] Because jesus became our perfect sinless sacrifice [01:08:09] And his blood is far better than that of abels or [01:08:14] The blood of bulls and goats [01:08:15] so [01:08:16] Don't tell me there hasn't been a change [01:08:19] Of the old testament law into the new testament law there has and don't tell me that that's the only one [01:08:24] Oh, well, it's only because jesus became our sacrifice. So that's the only one [01:08:28] No, you can't do that [01:08:30] You've got to look [01:08:33] so now [01:08:34] I know that torah people [01:08:38] He break roots people always claim [01:08:41] That jesus and the apostles did not change the law [01:08:46] Yet the bible says the exact opposite for instance. Let's look at the discussion [01:08:52] Of jesus with the woman at the well [01:08:55] He clearly announces a change coming [01:08:59] Of the law of moses under the new testament and we're going to read this [01:09:04] This part of this story here. This is john 4 verse 19. We'll go to verse 26 [01:09:10] And it says the woman saith unto him sir [01:09:12] I perceive that thou art a prophet now [01:09:14] This is after jesus revealed to her that you know [01:09:16] She'd had five husbands and the one she was living with now was not her husband. She said [01:09:20] Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet very perceptive [01:09:24] young lady there [01:09:26] She said this to him our fathers worshiped in this mountain [01:09:30] And you say that in jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship [01:09:34] And jesus saith in their woman believe me [01:09:37] The hour cometh when ye shall neither in this mountain nor yet at jerusalem worship the father [01:09:43] You worship you know, not what we know what we worship for salvation is of the jews [01:09:49] But the hour cometh and now is when the true worshippers shall worship the father in spirit and in truth [01:09:55] For the father seeketh such to worship him [01:09:57] God is the spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth [01:10:02] The woman saith in him I know that messiah cometh which is called christ [01:10:08] When he has come he will tell us all things. Jesus saying there are I that speak unto thee am he [01:10:13] Now let's back up [01:10:15] She starts talking about [01:10:17] Our fathers say we should worship on this mountain [01:10:20] But the jews or the law of moses says what three times a year it was in the law [01:10:25] that [01:10:26] the men [01:10:28] had to appear [01:10:29] In jerusalem to worship to properly worship god that year. That's what he's talking about [01:10:35] True, we can worship god anywhere [01:10:37] But under the law of moses there was a requirement that they had to be in jerusalem [01:10:43] three times a year [01:10:45] now this [01:10:47] Couldn't be more clear. Jesus is saying [01:10:50] right here [01:10:52] woman believe me [01:10:55] The hour cometh when you shall neither in this mountain or yet at jerusalem worship the father [01:11:01] So he was clearly saying there's a time coming [01:11:04] This is no longer even a requirement. This is no longer going to even be [01:11:09] An issue [01:11:11] But remember now if you're going to require people to keep the law of moses you best be making some trips [01:11:18] To jerusalem and I know i've heard them. Oh, but what about [01:11:23] What about? [01:11:25] The jews when they were in babylonian captivity, they couldn't go to jerusalem. Yeah, they were into judgment [01:11:31] They were into the wrath of god [01:11:33] I said, I guess that's what you're under then [01:11:36] You can't go to jerusalem. You're under the judgment and the wrath of god [01:11:40] I mean that's going to be your excuse [01:11:42] of course [01:11:44] Well, they just did the best they could [01:11:47] Well, yeah, it's true. They did the best they could [01:11:53] Don't say you got to go. You got to keep the law to be safe and you got it [01:11:56] You best be getting to jerusalem now. Let's let's keep going [01:12:03] Now when jesus told her [01:12:04] That the requirement of the law for the people of god to worship at jerusalem would soon be changed [01:12:09] He was indicating the opening of the door of the gentiles and the walk of faith for the new testament believers [01:12:16] In other words the hours coming when you will be free from the requirements of the jewish law in vain traditions of your fathers [01:12:23] Now the bible says clearly that the law of moses has been changed and in what I will call [01:12:29] New testament has been exchanged rather for the new testament law. It's [01:12:34] A phrase i'm just going to use right now. It's called the law of christ or the spirit [01:12:38] Uh, the law of the spirit of life in christ. Jesus says it's called in romans [01:12:43] but [01:12:44] The bible the writer of hebrews illustrated this and this is we're going to go to hebrews [01:12:49] Seven and read verse 11 and 12 first [01:12:53] He says there he says if therefore perfection [01:12:56] Were by the levitical priesthood for under it the people received the law [01:13:01] What further need there was another priest that should write after the order of melchizedek [01:13:06] And not be called after the order of errant. So he's talking about the prophecy [01:13:11] in psalm 110 from david [01:13:14] That said that thou ordered priests forever after the order of melchizedek [01:13:18] The lord said unto my lord sit thou with thy right hand till I make thine enemies thy footstool [01:13:22] You are a priest forever after the order of melchizedek [01:13:26] So he's talking about there would be another priesthood [01:13:30] come [01:13:31] And so he tells him [01:13:32] If perfection came by the levitical priesthood, why does why does the scripture speak of another one coming? [01:13:38] So perfection doesn't come by the levitical priesthood [01:13:42] under the law of moses [01:13:44] And then he says this in verse 12 [01:13:48] for the priesthood being changed [01:13:53] The priesthood being changed there is made a necessity a change also of the law [01:14:02] People say the law didn't change [01:14:04] Old tests there are people out there even saying no such thing as old testament. It's all one book. It's all one story [01:14:10] I heard that from one of their leaders [01:14:16] And god hasn't changed. No god hasn't changed but his covenants have changed [01:14:22] Folks, it's evident again [01:14:25] Jesus on the cross dying on the cross for our sins [01:14:29] That changed a lot of things [01:14:32] Don't say that you can say god himself doesn't change [01:14:37] But you can't say that his dealings with man his covenants his agreements [01:14:42] His conditions haven't changed over time [01:14:47] He had an agreement with adam and eve in the garden of end. They broke it [01:14:57] We're not under [01:15:00] The old coming along we're in a new [01:15:03] a whole new [01:15:04] a whole new realm here [01:15:06] He goes on to say [01:15:10] Uh, let's let's keep reading here. Verse 17 through 19 [01:15:15] For he testified thou art a priest [01:15:18] forever after the order of male kids at x speaking of jesus [01:15:22] For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment [01:15:26] Well that ought to that i'm sure for some of you hebrew toro people that right there just [01:15:31] Cut. Oh, wait a minute. They always say oh, wait a minute. Jesus said matthew 5 [01:15:36] He said I did not come to destroy the law of the prophets but to fulfill jesus didn't come to do away with it [01:15:42] No, he fulfilled it [01:15:44] He's the end of it [01:15:46] He kept it all and he's the end of it. He's the end of righteousness. He's he he did it [01:15:53] So we don't have to do it all perfectly. We don't have to do it [01:15:58] But it says real plainly a disannulling of the commandment or the law [01:16:04] Going before for the weakness and unprofitiveness thereof. Oh, that's painful painful painful [01:16:11] That law you want to be under that law of moses. He said [01:16:15] first of all is disannulled [01:16:18] It had weakness and unprofitiveness to it [01:16:24] You say well, how would god ever do anything? Why would he make something like that? [01:16:28] Well, why did he put the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the garden? [01:16:35] perfect garden tree of life [01:16:37] Adam and eve new creatures new creations sinless [01:16:40] Perfect environment. He came down to the cool of the day every evening and spent time with him face to face [01:16:46] They could hear his voice. They had a perfect relationship with him. Why would god mess that up? [01:16:51] Why would he allow first of all? [01:16:53] Why would he allow the tree of the knowledge of good and evil there and why would he even allow satan in the garden? [01:16:58] Why would the serpent even be allowed to come in? [01:17:03] God allows imperfect situations [01:17:06] to test us [01:17:10] and though he gave us [01:17:12] the law [01:17:15] To be our schoolmaster to lead us to jesus [01:17:18] He made it where it wasn't absolutely perfect [01:17:24] So that he would have to make another and it's a test [01:17:28] Will we turn loose of the old? [01:17:30] To embrace the new [01:17:32] That's a test that's going to continue in your life. And well, that's what I preached Sunday morning [01:17:38] Yesterday the new wine turning loose of the old so you can [01:17:41] Have the new but let's look at what paul wrote in second corinthians 3 [01:17:47] now this [01:17:49] I'm gonna turn there myself [01:17:51] This right here [01:17:53] is just devastating [01:17:56] if you [01:17:57] want to cling to [01:17:59] your righteousness coming [01:18:01] From the law of moses and even he even addresses [01:18:06] That part of it that was engraved on the stones [01:18:11] Yes [01:18:13] the 10 [01:18:14] Now let's just read it. I'll just read this and I won't take anything out of context [01:18:19] So i'm gonna just read this chapter so you can [01:18:23] Can walk it through there if you can but second corinthians [01:18:26] Chapter three, let's start at verse one [01:18:29] He says do we again begin to commend ourselves or need we as some other epistles of commendation to you or letters of commendation from you [01:18:37] He says you are our epistle written in our hearts [01:18:41] known and read of all men [01:18:43] For as you uh for as much as you are manifestly declared to be the epistle of christ ministered by us [01:18:50] Written not with ink [01:18:51] But with the spirit of the living god not in tables of stone, but in fleshly tables of the heart [01:18:57] And such trust have we through christ to godward not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything [01:19:04] As of ourselves, but our sufficiency is of god who has also made us able ministers of the new testament [01:19:11] First of all, let me just stop right there. Paul is clearly saying look we are [01:19:16] now [01:19:18] After jesus died and rose again. We are ministers of the new testament [01:19:24] I am first and foremost a minister of the new testament [01:19:29] Do I learn things from the old testament? Do I get truth? Are there things in the prophecies yet to be fulfilled? [01:19:36] Yes, there's much value in the old testament, but that's not where we stay. That's not where we live [01:19:43] We are ministers of the new testament primarily foremost above all else [01:19:50] And yes, I can say that because hebrews made it clear [01:19:54] That we are have a better covenant with better promises [01:19:59] So I can say the new testament takes precedence over the old it is better [01:20:05] That's what the bible says. I mean there's some people about to have a coronary [01:20:09] With me saying that because they think the old testament is better [01:20:13] but that's not what [01:20:16] the apostles [01:20:19] told us [01:20:20] Very plainly and it should be evident should be obvious [01:20:24] I thank god. I don't have to go to jerusalem three times a year. I thank god. I don't have [01:20:29] to to [01:20:30] Keep all those feasts and then I don't have to try to keep the sabbath every saturday just perfect and I don't have to [01:20:39] You know keep all those dietary laws [01:20:42] We haven't you don't you don't really know how many products [01:20:46] pork is in [01:20:48] hog fat [01:20:50] Hog fat it's in a lot of stuff [01:20:53] Stuff you wouldn't even think [01:20:56] I bet poor muslims and just have no idea how much hog fat they've consumed or put on their bodies [01:21:01] They lose it because it's in so many things [01:21:05] Um, but let's keep reading. So he says we are [01:21:09] ministers [01:21:11] of the new [01:21:12] testament [01:21:13] Not of the letter and he's speaking of the letter of the law [01:21:16] But of the spirit for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life [01:21:21] But if the ministration of death [01:21:24] Written and engraving on stones was glorious. Everybody see this. What's he talking about? [01:21:32] Written on stone. Wait a minute now out of the 613 laws in the old testament only 10 [01:21:39] Were written in stone [01:21:42] So he's saying here that even that was the ministration of death [01:21:46] Well, why is that because you can say let's just pick one law real quick and I will get to this [01:21:51] But let's pick up that shall not commit adultery [01:21:54] Okay, that shall commit adultery. That's still a sin a serious sin under the new testament as well [01:22:00] but [01:22:03] under the old testament if you committed adultery [01:22:07] You were to be stoned to death [01:22:11] Guess what? [01:22:13] Not how we handle that anymore under the new testament [01:22:18] so [01:22:20] even the 10 [01:22:23] Have been adjusted [01:22:26] In how they are [01:22:28] Administered let's look at this [01:22:31] Keep reading. I just want to make that sure because there are people that actually you want to talk about idolizing [01:22:37] You know these these folks accusing us of making jesus an idol [01:22:42] these folks have made [01:22:43] The stone 10 commandments tonight [01:22:46] And if they could get a hold of them, they would worship them and you know [01:22:49] They'd be bowing down and fawning over them [01:22:52] and paul says here [01:22:54] that those [01:22:57] that that [01:22:59] those tablets [01:23:00] That were engraven in the stones says but if the administration [01:23:05] of death [01:23:07] Written and engraven in stones was glorious meaning had the glory of god on it and it did [01:23:14] He said had was glorious was past tense [01:23:18] But if the administration of death written and engraven in stones was glorious so that the children of Israel could not steadfastly behold the face [01:23:25] Of moses for the glory of his countenance [01:23:28] Which glory was to be done away? [01:23:31] Which glory was to be done away [01:23:36] And really glory there's an italic so we can say which was to be done away [01:23:42] How shall not the administration of the spirit be rather glorious or more glorious for if the administration of condemnation? [01:23:50] speaking of the log moses [01:23:52] If the ministry of condemnation [01:23:55] Had glory much more than the administration of righteousness exceeding glory [01:24:00] For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect by reason of the glory that exceleth [01:24:07] For if that which is done away was glorious much more that's which remaineth [01:24:13] Is glorious. I want to say do you see that several times? All right three times here. He says [01:24:18] Speaking of the old testament law. He calls it the administration of death [01:24:24] And he says two times [01:24:27] It's to be done away and one time abolished [01:24:32] But those words [01:24:34] Even though the translators use done away the phrase done away twice and abolished once it's the same [01:24:41] It's the same [01:24:43] Greek word [01:24:44] And it's carta gail [01:24:46] or carta gail [01:24:48] May not be pronouncing that right carte argail [01:24:52] But this is the definition when he speaking of the log moses [01:24:57] speaking even of the [01:24:59] The part of it engraven on the stones [01:25:01] He said [01:25:04] that they are abolished done away twice [01:25:07] Done away twice abolished once all the same word three times in one chapter [01:25:13] And the definition of the word [01:25:15] for the phrase done away and abolished [01:25:18] It means to abolish to cease [01:25:21] to deliver to destroy to do away [01:25:26] to make [01:25:27] without effect [01:25:30] To bring or come to naught to put away to put down to vanish away to make void [01:25:37] So it's clear that the law of moses has been changed [01:25:42] In its original sense. It's been abolished in its original [01:25:46] sense in its original intent [01:25:48] And the people who put faith in the finished work of jesus christ on the cross [01:25:52] They are no longer under the law of moses [01:25:55] They are under the replacement which is called the law [01:25:58] Of christ the law of the spirit of life and christ jesus now [01:26:01] You can find that those two passages romans 8 for gilatian 6 2 again calls the law of christ [01:26:09] Says bearing you one another's burdens. Galatian 6 2 bearing you one of those burdens and so fulfill the law of christ [01:26:16] Not the law of moses [01:26:19] And then he says gilatian. I mean romans 8 for the spirit [01:26:23] Of life for the law of the spirit of life in christ jesus has made me free [01:26:28] From the law of sin and death for what the law could not do [01:26:31] Talk about the law of moses, but it could not mean that it was weak through the flesh god sending his only son [01:26:38] I mean [01:26:39] It's all throughout here [01:26:41] folks [01:26:44] Now let's look at this because I entitled this tonight the ifram awakening or apostasy torah observance versus the law of christ [01:26:53] Now let's look at some of those changes of the old testament law in the new testament [01:26:57] I mean, let's just look through people say jesus didn't change the law. Yes, he did [01:27:03] I've already given you one where he talked to the woman at the well, but look at this [01:27:07] Um, we're gonna go to matthew 5 [01:27:10] And i'm i'm not gonna go through the entire chapter. You can show where he changed [01:27:14] every single [01:27:16] Part of the the law he spoke of the old covenant [01:27:19] But these these are just some examples. He says here [01:27:23] And this is matthew 5 [01:27:25] Okay, we're gonna start in verse 30. I believe it is [01:27:28] He says it has been said [01:27:31] And of course what he's referring to is in the law of moses deuteronomy 24. He said it has been said [01:27:38] Whosoever shall put away his wife [01:27:41] Let him give her a writing of divorcement [01:27:44] But I say unto you [01:27:47] That whosoever shall put away his wife saving for the cause of fornication [01:27:51] Causes her to commit adultery and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery [01:27:56] Now here jesus makes it very clear [01:27:58] In fact, if you go back and you read in deuteronomy 24 you find out that it says if she lost favor with her husband [01:28:05] Pretty much for any reason [01:28:07] If he lost favor in her or if there was some uncleanness found in her and the word uncleanness in the hebrew there simply means [01:28:14] if she [01:28:15] uh [01:28:16] Maybe maybe a moment. She fell down and her breasts were exposed. It means [01:28:21] showing nudity didn't mean committing adultery, but if she showed any uncleanness if there was any nudity reveal or [01:28:31] Again just if her husband lost favor with her go back and read deuteronomy 24 read the law [01:28:36] So so the law said pretty much a husband could divorce his wife for just about anything [01:28:43] That was the law [01:28:44] He just had to give her the the requirement was he just had to give her a bill of divorcement and put her away [01:28:49] And jesus comes on and says no no not the way it's going to be anymore [01:28:54] no to be able [01:28:57] To divorce your wife. You're going to have to have a serious reason and it's you're going to have to be able to prove [01:29:03] Fornication you're going to be able to prove sexual immorality if you want to leave if you want to get a divorce [01:29:11] You're going to tell me that's not a change [01:29:16] Come on now. Is that a change? [01:29:19] It's a change now. Let's keep going [01:29:23] He said again another [01:29:25] The next verses again you have heard that has been said by them in old time. He's referring to the law of moses [01:29:32] Thou shalt not foreswear thyself, but thou shalt perform thine [01:29:37] Unto the lord thine oaths or you or you're swearing [01:29:40] So what they were talking about is making even oaths to the lord [01:29:44] And he said you know what don't make oaths, but you can make oaths to the lord [01:29:47] That's what the law said the law of moses, but jesus said [01:29:51] But i say unto you swear not at all [01:29:54] Don't make any oaths [01:29:56] Neither by heaven for it is god's throne nor by the earth for it is his footstool [01:30:00] Neither by jerusalem for it is the city of the great king [01:30:03] Neither shall thou swear by thy head because thou canst not make one hair white or black [01:30:08] But let your communication be yay yay nay nay for whatsoever is more of these that cometh evil [01:30:14] I mean right there the law said, okay [01:30:17] You could don't don't make oaths, but you can make oaths vows to the lord [01:30:22] And once he comes out and jesus comes i said don't do any of it [01:30:27] Don't do anything. That's a change my friend [01:30:30] That's a change of the law. Jesus made there. He made let's let's look at the other one [01:30:35] He said you have heard it has been said [01:30:38] He's referring to the law of moses in leviticus 24 [01:30:41] An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. That's pretty plain [01:30:45] Now this is the way jesus is used. It's about pastor dean. This is jesus [01:30:50] Right. He says the law says an eye for an eye [01:30:54] and a tooth for a tooth somebody did you wrong [01:30:57] That's how you deal with it [01:30:59] But jesus said but i say unto you [01:31:02] That you resist not evil [01:31:04] But whosoever shall smite thee on the right cheek turn unto him also the other [01:31:09] Does that sound a little different? How is that not different? [01:31:13] The law says eye for an eye man. Somebody bust you an eye bust them back an eye [01:31:19] That's the law [01:31:21] Jesus hey, uh, dude, dude, we're not doing that anymore [01:31:27] Folks, I hope you see this. I hope you see it [01:31:30] Because we're getting to a point here where you you've got to get this [01:31:34] Now, let me go back again [01:31:36] Remember, we just mentioned a minute ago. You look at the 10 commandments. We'll just pick out for for a second the adultery [01:31:43] Now again, it's still a serious sin. Of course, the bible is clear. See this is why we know it's carried over [01:31:49] It has serious consequences if you're a habitual adulterer the bible says you will not inherit the kingdom of god [01:31:54] Hormongers and adulterers god will judge hebrews 13 [01:31:58] dalations 5 if you practice [01:32:00] Hortons fornication adultery, you will not inherit the kingdom of god [01:32:05] revelation 21 6 through 8 [01:32:08] so [01:32:08] There's there's new testament law. You can't be a practicing habitual [01:32:14] adulterer [01:32:15] fornicator [01:32:17] And think that you're going to be completely that that's being lawless and go to heaven when you die [01:32:23] I don't care. I don't care what you've believed and what you've confessed and all that you cannot be [01:32:29] Without law you cannot be lawless according to the new testament requirements new testament requirements [01:32:38] And so we have we have this [01:32:41] Set, you know old covenant [01:32:43] Law, you know 10 commandments that shall not commit adultery under the law. You were to be stoned to death [01:32:50] It's carried over to the new testament. It's still a serious sin [01:32:53] But we see how jesus dealt with it [01:32:57] Jesus began to show them the change the pharisees. John 8 brought to him a woman [01:33:01] caught in the act of adultery [01:33:04] And threw her down at his feet and says moses and the law says that such a one should be stoned [01:33:09] What do you say? [01:33:12] Well, now jesus could have said yeah stoner is what the law says follow moses [01:33:18] Is that what he said? [01:33:20] No [01:33:21] He squatted down [01:33:23] He ignored them [01:33:25] And he began doodling in the sand [01:33:30] I love it [01:33:32] There's been a lot of speculation on what he doodled in the sand. Some people say it was the names of their the pharisees girlfriends [01:33:40] but we don't know [01:33:44] but [01:33:45] jesus [01:33:46] As they continued to push him see what you see in that story of john 8 is the is the perfect illustration of the law [01:33:54] The law wants it its demands followed to the letter [01:33:57] And that end of that letter is death. We want her dead. We want her stoned to death [01:34:03] That is what the law says but jesus comes along see [01:34:10] And he's instituting a new covenant a new testament in his blood [01:34:14] The law came by moses, but grace and mercy [01:34:18] Come by jesus christ [01:34:21] And he doodles in the sand and then he rises up and he says you [01:34:24] Who are without sin cast the first stoner? [01:34:29] instituting a whole new way [01:34:32] and one by one [01:34:33] Starting at the eldest they dropped the rocks and split [01:34:40] Jesus looked up to the woman and says no man condemns you [01:34:44] See the law the ministry of condemnation [01:34:48] No, lord [01:34:49] Neither do I condemn you go and sin no more [01:34:52] See he didn't allow her he wouldn't allow her to be lawless [01:34:57] But the way the sin was going to be dealt with [01:35:00] The way the law about adultery was going to be dealt with [01:35:03] completely changed [01:35:07] So don't tell me there's not a difference between [01:35:10] old covenant and new covenant [01:35:14] Um, i'm gonna i'm really going to skip ahead here. I mean we could talk about [01:35:21] you know, paul [01:35:22] Paul made it clear polygamy [01:35:24] Wasn't no longer do you know there are some some? [01:35:28] I'm, probably sure this this is even the extreme of the extreme within the hebraics and torah observance that are arguing for polygamy [01:35:37] because [01:35:38] Of the patriarchs and early people who had multiple wives [01:35:44] um [01:35:45] you know [01:35:47] Paul made it clear [01:35:49] to his young pastor [01:35:51] That any man that wanted to be anything really for the kingdom of god. I know it says a bishop [01:35:56] But anybody wants to really be anything for the kingdom of god. He said must be blameless the husband of one wife [01:36:03] not two three twelve [01:36:06] uh, we're not mormonism [01:36:08] so that was uh [01:36:11] timothy [01:36:12] first timothy three [01:36:13] Uh two there [01:36:15] But let's jump over to chapter, you know, I mean they're they're arguing too about dietary laws and here's what the new testament says about that [01:36:23] First timothy four what now the spirit speaketh expressly that in the latter time some shall depart from the faith [01:36:29] giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils speaking lies in hypocrisy having their conscience seared with a hot iron forbidding to marry [01:36:37] commanding to abstain from meats [01:36:39] Which god hath created to be received with thanksgiving and then which believe and know the truth [01:36:44] For every creature of god is good and nothing to be refused [01:36:48] If it be received with thanksgiving for it is sanctified by the word of god in prayer. Does that sound like any dietary? [01:36:56] Restrictions from the old covenant placed upon new covenant believers in particularly gentiles. No, it does not [01:37:03] um [01:37:05] And I I see we're [01:37:07] We're running getting close to running out of time. So i'm going to try to to bring this out here [01:37:12] But let's let's look at the sabbath because this is the big thing [01:37:16] Because this is the question that I got from the brother. Well, okay [01:37:19] I can he said I can basically he said I can concede we don't have to keep the feast [01:37:24] We don't have to keep new moon festivals. We don't have to keep the dietary laws [01:37:28] So I can concede all that [01:37:31] But what about the sabbath day and this seems to be a stronghold for a lot of these people. What about saturday? [01:37:38] Why do you worship on sunday? Why you know, shouldn't we keep the sabbath? [01:37:43] But again, we have to go back [01:37:46] to what [01:37:47] You know, jesus said this to his apostles. This is matthew 28. I'm throwing [01:37:52] Kevin a curveball here, but the end of matthew 28 when he gives the great commission [01:37:58] to [01:37:59] All the disciples around he said go into all the world and teach all nations [01:38:04] Baptizing them the name of the father said and the holy ghost [01:38:07] He said teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you [01:38:12] Lo i'm with you always even until the ends [01:38:14] of the world [01:38:17] So jesus told his disciples his apostles you go teach what i've commanded you [01:38:22] so [01:38:23] either we [01:38:24] Accept that they went forth the apostles went forth and taught what jesus told them to teach [01:38:30] Or that they didn't and lied to us. That's the only thing we got [01:38:34] right [01:38:36] So what we look is when jesus said all things that were commanded [01:38:40] We go and we look what are the apostles teach? What did john luke? [01:38:45] peter [01:38:46] Paul [01:38:48] What did they teach? [01:38:50] So then we go we go to galatians. What do they teach about the sabbath? Do we have to keep? [01:38:56] The sabbath and this is what he said. We're just going to start reading here colossians 2 [01:39:03] 13 through 17 [01:39:05] And you being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh [01:39:09] Hath he quickened together with him hath him forgiven you all trespasses [01:39:13] Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us [01:39:17] Which was contrary to us and took it out of the way nailing it to the cross [01:39:21] Now the handwriting of ordinances is the law of moses. That's what it's referred to you can look it up [01:39:26] Have one person say well, it couldn't be the law of moses because or the ten commandments because they were made of stone [01:39:31] You couldn't nail them to a cross [01:39:36] I mean really is this where we're going with this? [01:39:38] but [01:39:39] He said blot out of the handwriting of ordinances that was against us which was contrary to us took it out of the way [01:39:44] Naming it to the cross [01:39:46] And having spoiled principalities and powers [01:39:48] He made a show of them openly triumphing over them in it that is the cross [01:39:52] And yes, it is all about the cross. Hallelujah [01:39:55] And then he said this let no man therefore judge you in meat or in drink [01:40:01] Or in respect of a holy day or of the new moon or of [01:40:05] Sabbath days [01:40:07] Now the word judge there where he says let no man judge you [01:40:10] He's saying no man can just can can judge you or distinguish you right or wrong [01:40:16] about any of these things meat drink holy days new moon or [01:40:22] Sabbath days and this sabbath day talks is the seventh day the sabbath day [01:40:29] And it's it's his plan. He said these are shadow are a shadow of things to come but the body is of christ [01:40:36] um [01:40:38] Galatians [01:40:40] four nine and ten [01:40:42] But now after that you have known god or rather are known of god. How turn you again to the weak and beggarly elements [01:40:50] Where until you desire again to be in bondage you observe days and months and times and years [01:40:56] He said i'm afraid of you [01:40:58] I mean this is [01:41:01] He was telling the galatians. It's not about all that. It's not about circumcision or keeping the sabbath or the feast [01:41:08] It's not about this. You don't get your righteousness [01:41:11] From these things and and it's amazing you go to roman's chapter 14 [01:41:15] And what does paul say he talks about one man it steams one day above another and another man it steams every day alike [01:41:23] And he's saying that it doesn't matter [01:41:26] If one man wants to esteem the the saturday is the sabbath [01:41:30] That's his prerogative. That's his business. He can do that. He's free to do that [01:41:35] But if another man and he's talking about christian brothers if another man is steams every day alike. That's what I do [01:41:40] I don't care every day alike to me. I say love. Jesus worship. Jesus [01:41:44] Uh every single day [01:41:47] You can meet any day of the week for church. It doesn't matter [01:41:52] Pick your day [01:41:55] Just make sure you have one [01:41:57] That's that's the point [01:41:59] Just make sure you have one [01:42:02] But nobody can judge you in these things [01:42:05] One man is steams one day above another and another one another man is steams every day alike [01:42:11] You know what paul revealed too? [01:42:13] And I know this gonna hurt some feelings [01:42:15] But he said, you know the people that think you have to be [01:42:18] You have to eat a certain thing or drink a certain thing or keep a certain day of the week. He said that's weakness [01:42:25] I'm just gonna be honest [01:42:26] You got to lean on those rituals and laws to make yourself feel righteous and special. He's saying you are weak [01:42:35] You're weak [01:42:37] Your faith is weak [01:42:40] I don't need those outward trappings [01:42:43] to feel religious [01:42:45] or to feel [01:42:46] ceremonial or to feel [01:42:48] You know [01:42:49] Spiritual I don't need that [01:42:52] I'll tell you what I need. I need time with the lord in prayer and fasting and worship [01:42:57] Seven days a week [01:43:00] That's what I need [01:43:02] I don't know what you might need but I that's why I look at this stuff. It's silly [01:43:07] Oh, we got to keep the sabbath starting on friday night saturday morning. It's silliness [01:43:12] It's silliness [01:43:14] If you want to do it and you're like, I just want to do this [01:43:18] Okay [01:43:19] Don't tell me I have to [01:43:21] Don't tell any other believer. They have to don't even make another believer feel slightly condemned [01:43:27] If they don't or you're in error you're in sin and you're headed down [01:43:33] the wrong road [01:43:36] Now, let me share this and I'll bring this to it and this is what I shared [01:43:40] with the young lady [01:43:43] I said just like adultery was carried over into the new covenant, but [01:43:48] The punishment for it was abolished and adjusted [01:43:53] The sabbath does exist under the new covenant [01:43:57] Let me show you where it exists [01:43:59] The sabbath does exist under the new but it's different [01:44:02] It's not about any particular day of the week or rigid restrictions on activity [01:44:07] It's found in the requirement [01:44:10] Not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together [01:44:14] in a church [01:44:15] For worship fellowship teaching and accountability to spiritual authority hebrews 10 25 [01:44:22] Now remember the hebrews are the one he's been telling the whole time. It's not about the circumcision [01:44:27] It's not about the levitical priesthood. It's not about the blood of bulls and goats. It's not about [01:44:32] The the law of moses. He's telling him don't go back to that [01:44:37] Jesus is sufficient christ is sufficient [01:44:41] And he tells them in hebrews 10 12 don't forsake the assembling of of ourselves together as the manner of some is [01:44:51] So I want to tell you you want to understand [01:44:53] keeping the sabbath [01:44:55] 10 commandment law under the new covenant [01:44:58] is don't forsake [01:45:01] the gathering together [01:45:03] of christians [01:45:05] And when I say christian i'm talking about a church. Yes a church [01:45:07] I don't care if you meet in the building or you meet in the home or you meet in the garage or you meet out [01:45:11] on the street corner [01:45:13] You meet with other believers that are true born again spiritual christians [01:45:17] You that that truly some are elders are called to be elders. Somebody's called to be a pastor [01:45:22] Somebody's called to be a leader. We don't have a leaderless [01:45:25] Body of christ. We don't have a leaderless churches. This is foolishness again more foolishness. It's just rebellion being manifested [01:45:34] but [01:45:35] Find a church with a true pastor [01:45:38] That he's a true shepherd has a shepherd's heart and teaches the truth. Maybe not everything maybe you don't agree on everything [01:45:44] But on the main parts [01:45:46] Find you a group of people [01:45:49] That has a truly god-called god-adointed pastor leader elders [01:45:53] And fellowship, but I don't care if it's three people. I don't care if it's 30 people on camera 300 3000 [01:45:58] Find that and go to church [01:46:02] Yes, go to where they meet [01:46:05] Somebody's home church building rented building steeple build. I don't care. None of that matters [01:46:13] They met in all kind of different places [01:46:17] But don't forsake the assembling of yourselves together. There should be a day [01:46:23] in your week [01:46:25] When you set aside [01:46:28] to meet together [01:46:30] With the body of christ [01:46:33] Where you can worship together [01:46:36] Correct one another teach one another [01:46:39] Um be accountable to somebody have real have a leadership there is leadership read hebrews 13 [01:46:47] There's leadership in the body of christ [01:46:50] Obey those that have the rule over you and the lord [01:46:53] There's fivefold ministry apostles prophets evangelists pastors teachers [01:46:57] The church is not leaderless. If you if if if you're in a group of people, there's no real leader [01:47:02] There's no really god call [01:47:03] Somebody's bold enough saying I know god spoke to me and called me to be a pastor [01:47:09] If they can't say that [01:47:10] You don't have a church [01:47:12] Now you can you can fellowship and that's good. Maybe you you hadn't found it yet [01:47:16] And that's all you got at least do that but folks hear what i'm saying [01:47:21] Those people out there saying oh these people in the 501c3 church are deceived. Well, guess what? [01:47:29] Some of them aren't some of them aren't [01:47:32] They're just trying to obey [01:47:34] Hebrews 10 25 to not forsake the assembling of themselves together and some of them don't know where to go [01:47:38] They don't know what to do. I have people all the time tell me I wish I could find [01:47:41] a church [01:47:43] They know they need it [01:47:45] but again [01:47:47] You you some people just give up [01:47:52] Find it [01:47:54] That's you. That's you. You want to know that's yourself. We could go down each list [01:47:59] Each one of the 10 commandments and we could see [01:48:04] How the law of christ how it is in the new covenant in the new testament. I mean that's just [01:48:14] Um, it's a beautiful thing [01:48:18] I mean it's it's to me. It's awesome. And and I don't want to say this too. Well in mark 228 [01:48:25] I love what jesus said here and i'm gonna turn there [01:48:30] Mark 2 [01:48:32] Well, actually we'll just read from verse 23 [01:48:49] I know I keep throwing Kevin this [01:48:51] Curve balls, but he's getting it [01:48:53] He's doing great [01:48:55] Verse 23 and it came to pass [01:48:58] That he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day and his disciples began [01:49:03] As they went to pluck the ears of corn and the Pharisees said unto them behold [01:49:07] Why do they on the sabbath day do that which is not lawful? [01:49:11] and truly [01:49:13] No work allowed on the sabbath day [01:49:16] No gathering of food. It was like the gathering of the manna. Remember they were forbidden in the old covenant [01:49:22] They had to go out on friday and gather double so they wouldn't go out and gather the manna on saturday [01:49:28] No work allowed [01:49:29] No work for you [01:49:36] And the ferris so the ferris is right there. They're they're not keeping the sabbath [01:49:41] What did jesus say? Jesus said unto them [01:49:43] Have you never read what david did when he had need and was hungry? [01:49:48] He and they that were with him [01:49:49] How he went into the house of god in the days of abathar the the high priests and did eat the showbread [01:49:55] Which was not lawful to eat but for the priest and gave also to them that were with him [01:49:59] And he said unto them the sabbath was made for man not man for the sabbath [01:50:04] Say their man's more important [01:50:07] People are more important than the sabbath [01:50:10] Oh [01:50:12] painful [01:50:13] Painful in you toro folks, isn't it? [01:50:17] People people's needs are more important than the sabbath [01:50:24] People need healing people need jesus people need truth [01:50:30] Are you gonna sit in your house and keep sabbath? What if the lord tells you to? [01:50:34] walk 20 miles [01:50:36] To witness to a guy who's about to die you're gonna sit in your house. Keep the sabbath. I think you're holy [01:50:44] now jesus said and then jesus ended that [01:50:47] little teaching and [01:50:49] With this verse 28 therefore the son of man is lord also of the sabbath [01:50:56] jesus declared himself [01:50:59] Lord of the sabbath [01:51:01] So that's one of his names [01:51:03] Yeah [01:51:04] Lord of the sabbath jesus [01:51:08] Now we've seen i've shown you in the new testament where the apostles where they showed us [01:51:12] We don't have to keep any particular day. We're not to be judged by any day [01:51:18] What I love is this jesus is the lord of the sabbath. He's our rest [01:51:25] He's my sabbath [01:51:27] If i'm truly in him [01:51:31] By faith and he is in me [01:51:36] And i'm walking with him [01:51:39] And i'm keeping the law of christ the new testament law [01:51:42] then [01:51:45] I am keeping the sabbath. How many of you know you could keep your your saturday sabbath? [01:51:54] And be far from jesus [01:51:58] The way some of you respond to me on facebook and youtube. I can tell you you are far [01:52:03] from jesus [01:52:07] But go ahead and keep your sabbath on saturday. Make sure you do that religious work [01:52:11] To make you feel righteous [01:52:15] You know what? I want to feel righteous. I want to feel righteous because i've been with jesus [01:52:20] I don't need your [01:52:22] Sabbath or your feast or your new moons or your no pork menu. I don't need that. I don't have to have it [01:52:29] i'm free [01:52:31] Now i'm not free to be immoral and i want to say this these guys in this torah [01:52:36] Observant movement and the hebraic roots movement that start using verses like say from first john [01:52:43] about keeping the commandments [01:52:45] And they and they try to make that allude to and say that means keeping the old testament commandments. They are completely [01:52:53] twisting the scripture [01:52:56] Has nothing [01:52:58] To do with that. There is a new testament law. There are new testament commandments [01:53:03] Why do you think jesus made the statement a new commandment? I give unto you new [01:53:11] two commandments [01:53:14] You see it's easy folks. It's spelled out in the new testament. What do I have to do? [01:53:19] Love god with all my heart soul mind and strength talk to him [01:53:24] pray [01:53:26] worship [01:53:27] Draw near to him in faith [01:53:31] and keep myself [01:53:33] From the immorality of the world the adultery the fornication the witchcraft [01:53:38] The sorcery the drugs [01:53:41] All I have to do is stay away from that evil tree out there and it's evil fruit [01:53:48] And then all I have to do is be with him [01:53:52] and walk in faith [01:53:54] believe it believe [01:53:56] What he said and step out and do what he tells me to do [01:54:01] They that are led by the spirit [01:54:03] Galatians 5 that are led by the spirit [01:54:06] Are not under the law. I i'm not i'm led by the holy ghost [01:54:10] He talks to me and I talk to him the spirit of jesus christ lives in me [01:54:13] I do what he tells me to do. I don't have to be under the law [01:54:17] But now if you want to be under the law i'm going to tell you what's going to happen. The holy spirit is going to [01:54:23] Not be leading you'll be led by another spirit [01:54:27] And that's why they're getting deceived. That's why so many are getting deceived [01:54:32] so [01:54:35] I guess we're about out of time [01:54:37] I can't believe I did [01:54:40] two straight hours on this [01:54:43] without stopping [01:54:45] but [01:54:47] hopefully [01:54:49] Somebody out there [01:54:51] Will get free [01:54:54] From the bondage and the yoke [01:54:56] Of believing that they have to keep the law of moses [01:54:59] To be right with god [01:55:02] again, if you want to for [01:55:05] Your own personal enjoyment and that's just what you [01:55:08] like to do [01:55:10] Again, you're free to do it [01:55:13] Free to do it [01:55:15] I've been to pass over seder mills. I've I've celebrated in church. I had in montgomery. We celebrated trumpets [01:55:24] um [01:55:26] Rosh Hashanah, we have we have done those things nothing wrong with that to learn to enhance to understand [01:55:33] Not as a requirement not as for righteousness not to feel superior to other christians [01:55:39] who don't do those things [01:55:41] that is [01:55:42] Pride and pride goes before a fall and a haughty spirit before destruction [01:55:47] And when you start feeling you're superior because you [01:55:51] Do these different religious works of the law of moses you are headed for shipwreck [01:55:59] So I guess we're about out of time. I know we got a few minutes, but i'm just going to go ahead and end it here [01:56:05] I hope you learned something [01:56:07] You've been listening to prophecy quake [01:56:10] I'm your host. You can call me names [01:57:36] You can call me an idiot you can say I need to read the bible and say I don't understand the bible [01:57:40] You can say all kind of things about me you want to say [01:57:43] But i'm standing fast in the liberty [01:57:46] Where christ set me free 30 plus years ago [01:57:48] God bless.
