I'm a consultant and a certified personal trainer, so my days can get really busy. I still want to make sure I keep my good habits going, though. For me, the best way to hold myself accountable is with a habit tracker. I'm going to show you two ways to make one on reMarkable. The first, if you do most of your work on your paper tablet, and the second, if you like to work on your smartphone and laptop as well. Let's get started. --- [Visual: A hand holds a Marker over a reMarkable screen.] Sophie: For this habit tracker, I'm using the grid small template because it helps me space things out correctly. [Visual: On the reMarkable, the Marker tip selects the "Grid small" template from a menu.] [Visual: A hand writes the numbers 1 through 31 in a row on the grid paper.] [Visual: A hand draws a line with the Marker and holds the tip down; the line automatically straightens.] [Visual: The hand uses the selection tool to highlight the row of numbers and the drawn lines.] [Visual: The selected section is copied and pasted multiple times to create a grid.] [Visual: The hand writes "October tracking" at the top of the page.] [Visual: A close-up shows the Layers menu open on the reMarkable.] Sophie: Okay, the monthly habit tracker template is finished. All you need to do now is write down the habits you want to track here, and then just check them off every day you do them. [Visual: The completed tracker is shown with habits like "Be on time" and "Focus time" written in the rows. Several boxes are filled with checkmarks.] --- [Visual: The woman sits at a desk with a reMarkable in a Type Folio, a laptop, and a smartphone.] Sophie: I don't always have my reMarkable with me when I want to track my habits, like when I'm working out. Here is a habit tracker that's really easy to use, no matter what device you're working on. I'm going to make it on my reMarkable with Type Folio, but you can easily make it in the mobile or desktop app instead. --- [Visual: A person types on the Type Folio.] Sophie: So, what I do is create a notebook that's just for tracking one habit and write the days when I want to do the habit in bold text. [Visual: On the reMarkable screen, a hand taps the screen to open a formatting menu and selects the bold option for the typed word "Monday."] Sophie: I love these smart checkboxes. I can just tap them when I'm on my phone... [Visual: A person holds a smartphone displaying the checklist. A finger taps a checkbox, and a checkmark appears.] Sophie: ...click them when I'm working on my laptop... [Visual: A laptop screen displays the same checklist. A mouse cursor clicks a checkbox, and a checkmark appears.] Sophie: ...or cross them off when I'm on my reMarkable. [Visual: A hand uses a Marker to place a checkmark in a box on the reMarkable screen.] Sophie: I like to do a little self-reflection at the end of each week. It helps me document my progress and identify patterns that keep me from sticking to my habits. [Visual: A person types a self-reflection note on a smartphone.] Sophie: Okay, the easy part's done. Now for the hard part, actually making the habits stick. [Visual: A person writes on a to-do list on the reMarkable.] [Visual: The woman sits at her desk.] Sophie: For more tips on how to get organized, improve your workflow, and find focus, check out the learning and inspiration hub using reMarkable.
